So I previously had a 1 star review due to having my oil changed at the dealer and three days later my low oil level light comes on along with the check engine light and when I called to make an appointment there was no sense of urgency. Well, the service manager Brad called me yesterday and our wires got crossed so when I got off work I drove to the dealership and at fifteen after 5pm Brad personally took my car in the shop and rectified the issue. It was an easy fix and I was glad. I promised Brad in the future if reach out to him before leaving one star reviews. I appreciated the quick fix and customer service.

I m happy to share that my service appointment recently was one of the best I ve experienced with this dealerships service department. The service advisor Bandy was so friendly and had a welcoming energy which is a welcomed feeling in comparison to past visits. I believe the technician was Gustavo and my vehicle is running optimally after his help. Overall, past experiences were not as notable and I d go as far as to comment that they had me questioning if I d continue my vehicle maintenance due to an unfriendly and rude advisor. I m glad that I ve continued to choose Gay Kia for my vehicles maintenance needs. With a friendly and knowledgeable team like Bandy and Gustavo, I know I m in good hands. Thank you for sharing your talents and expertise. It s truly appreciated.

Gay Family Kia was great for my experience. My service advisor, Tanner was especially helpful and friendly. He kept me informed on my vehicle and information pertaining it's repairs. So far seems they have done a great job on my vehicle. I would return to this dealerships service dept.Thank you for the great job guys!

Great experience! Was greeted outside when I pulled up before I even got a chance to get out of the car. John was very helpful and explained what they would be doing at my service appointment. Waited while they worked on my car, it was very clean.

I am very impressed with the Kia Service Dept. I have received very good service from Tanner. He has responded to all my needs in a timely manner and you can tell he really cares about his customers. This day and age it is very rare. I really appreciate the time he took to help me. My car has been repaired as needed. I will return with all my repairs to Gay Family Kia.

I generally don t know why people who work for services like this hate their job so much?It shows and if they aren t willing to put in the effort into calling your extended warranty that you pay for to see if a part is covered and I have to do the job for, then maybe they should look for another job. It s so sad nowadays that I can t even have a simple calm conversation through the phone, instead I receive a feeling pressured phone call and it was very frustrating dealing with someone who is suppose to help you. As the days passed on it seemed that the guy that was helping me cooled down and was able to gather himself together and talk like an actual gentleman.I guess my SUV being there for 10 days and finally being able to pay out of pocket the $1,500 got him in a GREAT mood.Gay Kia Maintenance in Dickinson please do better in your customer service. If it s too much for you, maybe consider looking for a job that isn t customer service or doesn t involve dealing with people in general. I won t be coming here again, not with the way I was treated through the phone.

Service was horrible. Had to get my 2024 delitos towed to them because of a radiator issue. That I had to pay out of procket because it wasn t cover. I had to call multiple times and kept getting sent to voicemail until someone answered me. It s literally the only car and my car was in the shop for 4 days, kept asking for a loaner car and right away since the beginning told me they didn t have any available. Their customer service was awful and hopefully don t have to be here ever again. Please make sure you do research on the dealer before purchasing a car from here.

I had an appointment to get a new key programmed. While I was being checked in by John, he informed me that I had 2 recalls on my vehicle and that they would be taking care of that as well. I wasn t aware of any recalls, but I was extremely grateful for him. My wait time was an hour less than he indicated that it would be. Efficient and speedy. I was truly impressed!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Took my car in on Monday, got it back on Wed and not more than t miles down the road the check engine light was back on and the same heavy idling was present. Called and left a message for my tech and it took a second call to Reach him. He was Very helpful and i'm dropping it back off on 18 Mar for them to look at it again.

They get the job done but nothing special or spectacular. Customer service is a hit or miss and I will probably be going to another place to get an oil change. A BOOKED oil change appointment shouldn t take almost 3 hours. I understand there may be a staff shortage and/or multiple customers lined up, but having to wait almost 3 hours shouldn t be a reoccurring thing.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

They took two hours to do an oil change that was a scheduled appointment at 8am. They thought my car was a different one and told me it was being washed when they had it parked out front where I could see it ready. No one came to tell me it was done, I had to keep asking. Then they couldn t find my paperwork. Communication is extremely simple and a bare minimum for a business.

My car had to have major warranty work and I couldn t be more pleased . It did take a bit but the service agent, Sam was ver attentive and assuring.A compete overall check was done and I chose to do some. There was pressure or push to do any of it just informed me.I was very pleased .

In May 2022, I was involved in an accident after having my vehicle for less than 6 months. I had my vehicle towed to Gay Family for repairs to be done. In the beginning of the process, the person I dealt with wasn't communicating with me much. Once that person was no longer at the company, communication was a lot better. I dealt with Donnie which was kind and friendly. He kept me informed and he said if I had any problems to let him know. I had a couple small parts that had to be added and he ordered them and placed them on for me. Pete helped to explain my senors to me and took a ride with me to make sure they where working properly. It may have started off rocky, but it ended with the best customer service experience. I would definitely trust them with my vehicle. They are very busy with so many vehicles and it doesn't help when there is a backorder on parts through the manufacturer, so try to be a little more patient in waiting for your vehicle to get fixed. It took a few months for my vehicle also. Your vehicle will be in the best of hands with Gay Family Kia Service.

We brought our Carnival in for a recall yesterday. We made the appointment over a month ago as that is how long you have to wait to get an appointment with the service department nowadays. We told the service representative when we made the appointment it was for a specific recall. Brought the car in at 8:30am as scheduled and had our daughter follow us so we could drop it off. They did not look at the car until after 3. We had to call them to see when it would be ready. When we called, we were told that they didn't have the part for the recall in inventory and would have to order it. So, an entire wasted day with nothing done. Now we will have to do the same thing over again and inconvenience a family member or friend to give us a ride. They sell so many cars and they don't have enough people to work on them or order parts. This is just plain unacceptable. You don't wait a month to bring your car in for a specific recall only to be told your part isn't in inventory and they will order it, especially when they knew a month ago you were bringing it in. I'll bet we don't even get a call when the part comes in. I thought this dealer was better than that, but they seem to be just like all the rest of them. I stopped buying Toyotas from a local dealer because of a similar experience a few years back. They have so much business at this point in time they just don't care.Service: Oil change

Extremely friendly, professional, helpful no pressure dealership. I am going to drive almost 70 miles to have my car serviced there. And will most definitely go back to them when I am ready for my next ride!

I needed a warranty part replaced and instead of anybody in the service department actually listening to me, they just scheduled an appointment 2 MONTHS out for factory recall, which is not what I needed. I have been unable to drive my van for 2 months, because I cannot get my car inspected because the oil pressure light is on. I drove an hour to this dealership. Waitedfor 4 hours only to be told that I was scheduled for the wrong thing, and I would have to come back. And to top it off when I left the dealership. My blinkers no longer worked and they did when I brought it in They didn't even have the oil pressure sensor part. I was then told that I would get a call the following week, and they would work me in and get it done, I waited until Friday and I've not heard a single word. If 0 stars were an option, that's what I would have selected. Because I took my car in with one problem and came home with two problems after four hours at the dealership.

We scheduled an appointment with your service department to replace an O2 sensor two weeks prior. We were told it would be a one day job and to show up at 8:30am on 05/01/24, which we did. We checked in with Sam Perez who never said anything about our vehicle being there overnight. Now, we have only one vehicle and had a commitment that evening that we had to be at. They shuttled us home (which we appreciated). I called around 1:30 that afternoon to see when our vehicle would be ready, and left a voicemail with Sam inquiring about our vehicle's status. Didn't hear back from him until almost 2:30. He told me that the O2 sensor wasn't in stock and that we might not have our vehicle until Monday. I told him that wasn't acceptable at all. When I asked him about a possible loaner vehicle, he said he would check. Didn't hear from him for another hour. He never called and when I tried his number, he didn't answer, again. So, I called the service department to find out what was going on. He finally called me around 4pm to tell that there wasn't a loaner available. He said that I was welcome to come pick up our car and bring it back when we had more time to service our vehicle. At this point, I was pretty irritated with this response and told him that this was unacceptable. He got very defensive and told me that there were other customers that needed service as well and that the service department had to run diagnostics on our car and that it takes time to do so. Asked him when we might expect the car to be ready, and he said possibly the next day. I asked if he could guarantee that and his response was that he could 100% guarantee that it would "possibly" be ready the next day. Really?! Then I asked if there would be a shuttle service on Saturday. He said no. So now I have to take an Uber IF the car would be ready on Saturday. UNACCEPTABLE!!!I feel that Sam is a bit of a jerk, and because of that, we will never use Gay Kia again. The fact that you are a Kia dealership and you don't keep O2 sensors in stock is incomprehensible to me.The Sorento was ready on Saturday, and I had an Uber take me down there. Interestingly enough, my Uber driver told me that this was not an isolated incident and that Sam has a reputation for being a jerk. I question why you would keep an employee that has that kind of reputation.The vehicle is now running as it should and that's a good thing. Being treated like my business and needs aren't important is a very bad thing. You can expect unfavorable reviews on social media.

We took our vehicle to this dealership because they came recommended and it was a Kia forte that was worked on. They kept our automobile for weeks and thankfully we had an additional vehicle but when we got our vehicle returned to us it still does not run properly. The cosmetic damage was repaired but I'm sure there are internal issues that they did not take care of. The vehicle will constantly cut off on my wife when she drives it creating a serious problem for her safety .I'm more than likely will not be returning to this dealership to have my vehicle worked on.

I was given an appointment date that the car would've inspected that day or in the next 3 days. I called back 3 days later, then was told it would be looked at in 5 to 7 days because of a backlog.The car showed up on the 7th of November, was not told about how the inspection went until after Thanksgiving. Then this was not told until after I showed up in person as their representative refused to give any relevant information over the phone. While there, I was told multiple times my warranty was not what it was and no progress was made on my car until I was finally willing to get a quote for the cost of an engine replacement.In the end it took over 2 months, because the initial time of calling to get the appointment was in October. Thankfully they were wrong and Kia did uphold my warranty and did it for free. The icing on the cake was how they wanted me to have a bunch of optional stuff done almost totaling 2k.

Sam was extremely and helpful and kind per usual. John Brittingham on the other hand seemed to be having the worst day humanly possible. John was abrupt and rude. He talked over me and made me feel uncomfortable. Sam actually took hold of the situation in such a professional way and through that John still continued to act like a sassy child is the best way I can describe his behavior. Other than my encounter with John everything was great hence the 4 stars. I wanted to give 5 based on my experience with sam alone. Unfortunately that wasnt my entire experience. I would highly recommend training John how to speak to not only customers but women in general.

Took 24 Telluride in for a faint bumping noise coming from back passengers side rear suspension. They were able to pinpoint the source of the noise (rear shock) in short order and make the repair. To be honest the noise was so faint and intermittent I was surprised they were able to find it. Great job!

Took my car to Gay Family Kia, regarding recall issues. They took care of everything. They gave me a new Engine, did some other work pursuant to engine replacement. Unfortunately, they failed to replace the engine cover. I've called a couple of times, got no response. Overall, I would give them A-.But for the engine cover. They can call me about that. I should not have to call them on this. They should be contacting me.

Went to get oil changed hoping to sign up and pay for an oil change package. Will NEVER take my Soul here. In fact I drove back to the Beck & Masten Kia all the way in Tomball even though I live in Bayou Vista,because that is where I had been doing my maintenance since I bought my car brand new (in Louisiana)5/2022. First thing is I was absolutely ignored when I walked in. I was ignored for about 10 minutes. There were also other people in line who were not being acknowledged in anyway either. Mind you all their help desks are occupied by employees. Then this rude guy who wasn't even helping customers looks at me and says "what do you need?" I said an oil change and he asks if I have an appointment, which I never have to do in Tomball so I did not. He then very rudely tells me walk ins end at 10am. It was 10:10am. I said good to know and walked out and will never consider walking back in. I happily prepaid my next 6 oil changes at Beck & Masten and will drive an hour and fifteen minutes for their customer service.1 star because stars are required.
