These folks are real straight shooters--I can always trust their recommendations. They have literally talked me out of repairs they could have made significant money on, but didn't make sense because of related and unrelated issues with the vehicle(s). My wife's car is a Honda,and has had Rising Sun do several repairs on it. The work is done very well & affordable. So glad to have spotted this little auto shop! The owner does most of the work himself even though he has other people also.

If I could select no stars I would, I called today to get pricing on my front suspension and other items and the individual who picked up the phone told me that she could not do that and hung up on me.Almost treated like is it was an inconvenience for her. It s funny how in business we pick and choose what we don t want to do when we re providing an added service, if you can t give a valid respectable quote then maybe you guys should question what you re doing as a profession.So glad I called I would not want anyone with this type of attitude to work on my car.

My daughter has taken her car to RisingSun on 2 different occasions with good advice and great results for the repair. They are a reliable family business and Michelle and the mechanics will explain the best and most cost effective path for repair. My son (who is a former mechanic turned entrepreneur) has dealt with them in the past and recommended this shop to me. I am satisfied and will be taking my car there soon.

I am a single mom and I know absolutely nothing about cars. I have been taking my car here for over 4 years. They are the most honest and reliable mechanics I have EVER encountered. They never fix what isn't broken and they never try to up sale or.over charge you. This is a family owned business that treats you like family!

These are the NICEST! Most HONEST people that I have encountered in a very long time. I had my car towed to them because it would not start. They couldn't find anything really wrong, but they got it started and charged me NOTHING! They could have lied. I would not have known the difference. You just don't meet people like this.

Excellent experience. My air conditioning had went out in my Camry. I brought it in on a Saturday. They got it working again and had me to bring it back, the next week to find the problem. After checking again they found no problem and did not charge me anything. I was impressed with their caring attitude and will use in the future.

As long as I have a Japanese made vehicle, this is the only place I will take it. Great, honest, and quick work at very reasonable prices. I have an older vehicle and the work has always been done right the first time. They've done everything from engine work to replacing door handles. Best shop in town.

My family has done business with Michelle and Allen for over 20 years. We have sent people to this business and never had any issues..you can trust them to be honest and priced fairly.

I love this place. They are the. Nicest people I have ever meet at a repair shop they honest and will always be up front with the issue or issues on your car. They are the only honest people I have ever delt with. Someone else told me I needed a brand new moter and all I need was a 97.00. Part. Glad I found them they are a blessing from God himself. And nothing is wrong with my moter nothing at all the other person was trying to rip me off.

I took my car and a O2 sensor to Rising Sun Automotive. They told me that they would put it on for $50. which I felt was reasonable and I was happy to find a mechanic walking distance from me. I had forgotten to bring the diagnostic from AutoZone but the wife said to not worry about it because they would diagnostic before they put it on. I knew where it needed to go but trusted them. After driving for about an hour the engine light came back on. I drove straight back to AutoZone to see why and it was the same problem as before. While I was at AutoZone another customer who was a mechanic said that he would look at it. He did and told me that the sensor was put in the wrong place. I called Rising Sun the next day and they said they would be happy to switch it out but he believed it was the right one and drew me a diagram. He told me that he would do a diagnostic for $100. to see what the problem was. I opted to think about it not having a good feeling about the situation. I called a friend that I trust that works on cars and he took a look at it. He told me that it was put in the wrong place. So I took it back to Rising Sun at 8am. I called at 2pm and they were waiting on the tool to put it on. At about 3pm they called and told me that they have tried all day and can't get the other part off. I asked if they can come get me because it was raining. They said no. I walked in the rain. They said that I told them where to put it and that they wouldn't do a diagnostic for $50. So I don't know how they chose which sensor need to be replaced but they replaced the wrong one. I told him that it wasn't good business and he has lost a customer. He said that I was never his customer because I went to AutoZone for the diagnostic. I said that I am not giving them a good review and left. The wife came out to my car, opened the door and said that she will sue me for slander and that she knows the DeSoto Chief of police and will have me arrested if I come on their property again... She also said that I have no proof that they did any work for me. Which basically all I have is this little receipt. I asked for the write out on what they did but he wouldn't give it to me because he didn't know where it was. I never want to go on their property again and I'm thankful that I didn't have anything more serious worked on my car by them. I would give no stars but it wouldn't let me.

I received their number from a friend. The staff is great (Michelle and Allen). They took care of me like family which is rare in this day and age. They are definitely appreciated

I've only used there services once, it's a husband and wife team that really know Hondas. Minus one star b/c of the parking lot, it can be a little hectic.

Best Mechanic I have encountered while being in Dallas. Rising Sun does the best quality work at a reasonable price while maintaining integrity. I will NEVER use anyone else.
