The day after a visit to Take 5 we lost an engine (4th cylinder threw a rod, shooting through the bottom of the oil pan whilst driving) after their pit tech (we have his name) didn't screw the oil filter on properly, the engine drained on the freeway, locked up and died. The 9 yr old car is now totaled. Thus far their corporate office has not contacted us. It has been inspected by two different parties and now a lawyer. If you go to Take 5 my advice is to lawyer up.I have more photos which I can send if required. The hole is top left of the oil pan.Over to you Take 5, do not think that ignoring this claim will make me go away. I will report on this every two weeks, please tell 'corporate'.Update. Close to the 60 day window for them to respond. We have a lawyer ready to push the 'Go' button in a few days. $9800 for a replacement engine, plus loss of earnings, rental car, etc etc. We are not sitting back here Take 5.Update #2. Take 5, we have initiated a lawsuit for your negligence which seems to be a major theme at this location, lots of reviews of badly replaced oil filters, and some dreadfull BBB reviews. Again, we have not forgotten and we will not rest on this. You have not contacted us, replied to us, or answered us. I have a feeling you'll listen to our lawyer though.

Excellent customer service. Everyone was very nice. The only complaint is that the air pressure machines were not working. Apparently the corporate office has been told about it several times and hasn't done anything. I do like to have my tires checked so I was disappointed in that aspect but I can't blame the local shop.

0 stars! Absolutely the worst service ever when we pulled out of the bay from getting our oil changed we had oil running out of our truck. They never stopped us and told us that this was even going on. We re driving down the road people are honking and pointing to us letting us know that oil is pouring from the bottom of our truck. We get back to the service station and they act like it s no big deal. They did not put the oil filter on properly! The service tech who said he was also the team lead thought. It was funny and was laughing in my husband When my husband was telling him how to do his job! We have taken many vehicles to the service station to have oil changes in the past, but we will never be back! And getting customer service to answer the phone is the biggest joke! Absolutely the worst service EVER!! When we left, they offered us a 25% off coupon for our next visit! What a joke

What a wonderful oil change experience! Kadean and the other tech (I apologize, I did not catch their name) were lovely. Very quick to get me in and explain options. Asked about my coupon and what other needs I may have. Total time was less than 30 minutes and it was only that long because I added wipers and a filter change. Great job to all and I will definitely be back!

Oil change here is a fast friendly experience. The techs are very nice and even offer bottle water to customers. I love it that I don t even have to leave the car. Five stars!

Its 9:10 and no employees. 8 cars have come and gone. Called corporate, they tried calling district manager and he didn t answer. She messaged him and will call me when he replies. Good customer service from take5 s main customer service line- but the stores modified hours don t reflect the times they are actually here/open. It s our third time coming here with this same issue.Another Sparklets water truck waiting just informed us, based off a number they called, that someone answered and said they don t work there anymore and there s a good chance no one will show/they won t even open up today ..Is the take5 closing down? Or getting it together? Can t they send help? It s the only one in Denton .

It was fast for sure. But had to look up how to turn maintenance light off myself, noted on my receipt that windshields were cleaned and a few other things that weren t actually done. Not a priority for me, but if they are for you just be sure you speak up or they might not complete.

I love the fact that I was able to stay in my car and they did not try to tell me I needed other stuff done or needed a new air filter, anything to trick me into running my bill up! My whole experience took 15 minutes! I will definitely go back to them!

First time using one of these quick oil changing places. It was overall alright. It is fast once you make the line and get into the stall. And I like how they almost overly explained things to me however the price was almost double. I did get full synthetic and a new cabin filter but even with the coupon it was a little over $100. I don t think whatever minutes I saved out of my life is worth that price. I ve been in and out very quick at other places and paid a little over $60. And a cabin filter doesn t cost much just my honest opinion.

Go to these guys regularly for an oil change as they are without a doubt the fastest and most reliable oil change I ve ever gotten. Engine coolant was due for a changing and would normally be 140 on its own but I discovered they were doing a special where if you did both they d take 50% of the total ticket so got a preventative maintenance job And an oil change for an affordable price

Because I have used them a couple of times I get coupons in my email for discounts so yesterday I had a nice coupon for my oil change. For the most part they get you in and fairly quickly. They seem to not try to upsale me and we discuss how I use my car and the best option for ME.Additionally I needed new windshield wipers and they helped take care of that and helped with some discounts there.I went for one thing and left with 2 things checked off my to do list. I love that don t even have to get out of the car and the location is easy to get to.

Quick service. Knowledgeable techs. Efficient. Need to get their air hoses fixed. It's a nice bonus to have air pressure checked!

Trenton is Amazing!!!! He took care of my oil change and filters and went the extra mile to change my cabin filter which I had never changed since I ve owned the car and apparently the previous owner didn t either The entire staff were very nice and helpful and didn t try to sell me anything I didn t need. Definitely recommend

They are very professional and friendly people. This is my second time. I find they give you a Military discount. I use my Military discount + discount to replace the air filter that was time to change.I recommend every one to come here.

Went to get my oil change. came back home to Gainesville Texas left my truck parked in my driveway. Have a huge oil spot now in my driveway due to them not tightening down the oil filter it was so loose I could turn it with three fingers. Highly do not recommend.

I absolutely love going to Take 5 Oil Change! Even though it may look busy at times, the line moves very quickly and I don t think I ve had to wait more than 30 minutes to get through the line completely. I also love that I do not have to get out of my car. I ve never had an issue with the service and they are always straight forward. Staff is friendly and will offer you water several times during your service.

I have come to take 5 for years and every time I come I have gotten nothing but the best service. Last time I came I had problems with the employees but this time they went above and beyond to help and straighten out the problems. They were very helpful and informative. A huge thank you to Kai and Dustin were amazing thank yall!

I always receive phenomenal service from the stuff here! They are very thorough in their explanations, and hospital in their service. It was super hot a couple of days ago, and one of the young men walked down to every car offering cold water bottles to the guests. I was able to get in and out in 45 minutes which is impressive if you ask me. This is definitely the best place to get your oil changed in Denton.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

My drain plug was stripped out and I leaked oil all the back to my house and all in my driveway. I told them I did not want an air filter and the attendant said we'll give you one and discount you for it to make our numbers look better he said. There numbers meant more than doing their job.

They accidentally left a tiny gasket off of the oil pan plug. It didn t cause any damage, just a small leak. They owned the mistake, fixed it, and gave me a free oil change. This is the only place we take our vehicle to have the oil changed and because of the excellent way we have been treated, we will continue to do so. We like the fact that we stay in the car. Other places want you to sit in their waiting room while mechanics with greasy uniforms get in your car and drive it. We re good on that thank you. Also, bear with them on the time. For as understaffed as they are, they are doing great! Thanks again guys!!! 5 stars Service: Oil change

This place is incredible and I ve never had a bad experience. This time was a little different, there was one employee working. He is amazing and I wish I caught his name so I could give him credit! Take 5 definitely needs to work on hiring people. Props to this man for doing everything he can to keep this place running, he s not even a manager (he probably should be one and he DEFINITELY deserves a raise) thank you so much to this amazing person.Service: Oil change
