Rod and his team at Pro Tech are great. My sisters and I have all been bringing our cars here for several years now, and he always takes good care of them and charges fair prices. If there is something his shop can t repair, he will refer you to a place that can take care of you. But most routine maintenance and care he can take care of. Definitely one of the few places I fully trust leaving my car.

Great shop! Very happy with the service I received. Got my car in quickly, fixed my problem and worked with my warranty company. They will be first on my list to call for future needs.

5 stars+I cannot say enough good things about this shop! Rod is a straight up honest guy and an expert. I had my Nissan towed up there and was in a bind without a vehicle (kids need to go to school, activities etc.) Rod repaired my vehicle in just a few hours at a great price!Service: Transmission

I ve had a hard time in the past finding a repair shop that doesn t try to run up the bill or even seem competent. I ve had Pro-Tech repair my car twice in the last year or so and both times have been a good experience. Rod, my mechanic, seemed knowledgeable and was communicative about the issues with my vehicle and I felt he was being upfront and honest with me about the repairs needed and performed them in a timely manner. Also, their labor rates seem reasonable. This is the first place I ve brought my vehicle that I d feel recommending to a friend.Service: Brake service & repair

1 Star was the minimum I could give them. I stopped while evacuated for the hurricane. Needed a steering shaft changed I had a new dorman shaft in hand, 2 bolts, 15 minute job. They quoted me $220 basically said take it or leave it. They new I was in a bind with my family. So we left and took it to Affordable Auto Repair at 707 Dallas Drive. $50 and fifteen minutes later they had my family safely back on the road. He lied in his response to this review as well ! AS an old retired guy, it is important that i watch my pennies which is Reason 3 i go to pro-tech Automotive. Reason 1 is that they are honest and remember who i am. Reason2 is that they give me a ride back home after i drop my car off. Reason 3 is the price. Nobody works for free, but during my last visit i needed new brake rotors for the front wheels. Rod was up front with the pricing, giving me 3 levels of parts (good, better, and best) and prices to go with them. I initially chose the most expensive level but realized about 2 hours later that i didn't that much money in my car repair envelope . I called and asked for the mid-price range rotors. No problem and my 4Runner stops like it should!Service: Brake service & repair

Tried this place because I had a bad experience at another well known Denton auto shop. Let me tell you Pro-Tech absolutely deserves the almost perfect 5 stars they have. Extremely fair pricing and very friendly service. Communication with me was fast, as was their service. HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking for an auto repair shop they can absolutely trust.

Been coming here a couple of years now so I can speak about long term customer satisfaction. They treat every customer with respect, and fairness. What I appreciate most is they locate the actual problem and give you a repair price that is always a little less than everyone else in town. Quick turnaround too. I've never had to leave my car with them more than a day. They have good equipment, are experienced, and know what they're doing. Two thumbs up.Service: Electrical

These guys are always honest, efficient, and provide excellent service! We take our vehicles here for everything and we are never disappointed! a coworker referred me to this business when I had a catalytic converter issue (which they fixed) and I have used them ever since. They are very knowledgeable and give the customer all information regarding vehicle so you can make an informed decision. Honest, fast no pressure service. I called around looking for a repair for an oil pressure switch after I was told my extended warranty would not cover it. Pro-Tech came in less expensive and was able to get me in and out the same day. This was great because it's our family mini van so being without it would have made getting around with two kids a little less comfortable. The staff was upfront and honest and did not pressure me into getting anything else done. I will keep them saved for my next repair need when the time comes. Highly recommend based off my recent experience with them.

Rod always shoots straight when diagnosing a problem with any of my vehicles. His prices are competitive and he delivers in the time frame promised.I returned a few days after the service was completed. Rod answered my question and completed additional diagnostics at no charge.A few weeks after the service, the float which monitors fuel level stopped working. Rod explained that the warranty on the new fuel pump which Pro-Tech installed covered the float. The repair was completed at no cost to me.I highly recommend Pro-Tech. AGAIN!Thanks Rod.He did it again. Great customer service. My new gas gauge and float did not work. Rod and team fixed the issue quickly and courteously. It's so hard to come by a genuine and honest mechanic. Particularly in my experience as a young woman, mechanics have always tried to upsell or overcharge me for services. Rod and his team are awesome, and went above and beyond. I was even given a ride home while they worked on my car, and offered to be picked up when the work was complete. I would give them a 10/10 recommendation, and will definitely be returning for all of my car-related needs. I appreciate you guys!

The guys at Pro-Tech are very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Went in there to have my car checked and they were able to quickly find the issue and gave me a call right away. The work was completed the same day and they came to pick up from work. I was very satisfy with their work and will highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work....

We went to Pro-Tech to get get our car checked out for the ABS system.They got it repaired quickly. Previously we went to the dealership and they said they could not fix it until March 2022. Besides that, the dealership came up with a long list of repairs. PRO-TECH checked those repairs out and we were told that they were not needed. Rod at pro-Tech was very professional, fair priced, and repaired our vehicle in a reasonable time period. I will return there for any repairs I may need in the future.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I have taking all of our cars to Pro Tech since 1996. Rod is open and honest in explaining things such as, you ll probably need to replace this part in about six months, but you re good for now. He doesn t try to upsell, but lays out anticipated issues giving me enough time to plan for and watch for issues to emerge. He stands by his work and I have recommended ProTech to many friends. I like doing business with a local business owner who knows who I am and does an excellent job of caring for my vehicles.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

First time there and needed service on a 1995 Jeep Wrangler. I usually get a rediculois bill and I m sure I am overcharged but this time was different!!! Rod went over everything with me and gave me a very reasonable price for the repairs and it drove great when I left. I will definitely be using them as my mechanic going forward, I am very happy that I was referred to them.

I'm so glad to have been referred to this garage while I'm in Texas for the semester. This was my second visit to this shop and both experiences have been great. The work is done right and the price is very reasonable. It's a great relief to know that any automotive concerns I have will be handled efficiently and with friendliness.

I have taken my vehicles to the fine folks at Pro-Tech for years. They do excellent work for a good price. They will fix your vehicle correctly. I have found them to be fair and honest, what else can you ask?

What I thought was a busted transmission turned out to be an electrical & dead solenoid issue. I dropped my truck off in the evening and mechanics at Pro-Tech Automotive had it fixed and ready to go the next day.I ve been taking all my vehicles to this place for over 20 years and they ve always been reliable and honest.About 15 years ago I brought in a car and asked for a quote to repair some damage to the engine and the owner told me, I could take your money but you re better off getting a newer car. I had 4 tires replaced on my wife's car and decided it was a good time to check the wheel alignment. It was late afternoon and upon the recommendation of the tire company I stopped in at Pro-Tech. They were very accommodating and within a very short time I was back on the road.I found the staff to be very knowledgeable and friendly.Thanks for a good job.

I have been coming to Pro-Tech for about 3 years now. They have always done a good job on all my vehicles and the prices aren t unreasonable. They are very timely with communication via text, phone, etc. and are as friendly as can be!

I have come to really trust Pro-Tech Automotive for work on my personal and business vehicles. Rod and his technicians always do a great job, quickly diagnosing the problem(s), communicating repair options and advice, and doing the work. I know when I drop off the vehicle that it will be fixed right at a reasonable price.
