I used to regularly service my car at Kwik Kar. However, I recently had the worst experience. When my car's dashboard displayed the engine check light, I sought an engine check light diagnosis. They charged me $75, adding stress with their so-called 'fantastic' results. After the diagnosis, they claimed my car had completely broken down and was in such poor condition that it wasn't even worth selling. Fixing it would supposedly cost $10,000. Seeking an explanation proved futile.Frustrated, I opted for a second opinion elsewhere. They repaired the spark plugs and ignition coil, returning my car in perfect condition. Despite this ordeal, I'd like to thank Kwik Kar for the service I had received in the past and fixed the problem at best servicing center. However, based on my recent experience, I cannot recommend their diagnosis services.In summary:- Worst experience- Worst service- Never expected this from Kwik Kar."

Went there for some work that needed to be done on my car and the service was impeccable. Travis was very professional and extremely efficient at taking care of my car. I would highly recommend to go to him for car service needs.

Waited for almost 2 hours just to find out they couldn't get their hands on a part they tried to upsell me on in the first place. No apology, no explanation of what they were waiting on, acted like I was an inconvenience to them. I've had two other similar experiences before this one here since it's in my neighborhood, but third time something happens, and I don't even get an explanation, I can't rely on good service here. I don't think I've ever given a 1-star review before, but this was a test of my temper, more because of the apathy of their team than the situation itself.

I have been bringing my cars here for years and NEVER been steered wrong. Today, my check engine light was on and it said I had a bad 02 sensor when I went my Oreillys to have the code read. I brought it here and they explained it was loose, they inspected and put it on correctly and charged my labor. I never would have known if they had charged me to replace it. Integrity is key with mechanics and they have always been up front and honest with me here.

I took my car in for an oil change this morning and Travis had me in and out within 20 minutes. He was extremely professional, courteous, and helped reset the alert on my dashboard. Went up there for an oil change and Travis who helped me had it done within minutes and i was back on the road again in no time. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and respectful. I recommend anyone who goes here to ask for Travis! He knows what's up and how to get it done!

If I could put negative stars I would. I came to this location to get a coolant flush. Less than a week later I had a significant leak from the coolant system. I brought it back and they looked at it and said it was fixed. Again less than a week after that my coolant was still leaking. I came back in they said its a small leak but they aren t responsible for it and they were going to charge me to fix the damage that they did to my vehicle. The manager and assistant manager essentially told me to kick rocks because they weren t going to do anything about it. I did not have a coolant leak before they touched my vehicle. Do not take your vehicle to this shop because they clearly don t know what they are doing and have absolutely zero customer service. They refused to help me out in any way they refused any type of refund for any of their services that they clearly did not do right. My truck is now currently at another shop getting fixed.UPDATEThis was not a preexisting condition. The shop that has real mechanics not just oil changers found the leak at the upper radiator hose. They said the upper radiator hose had a crack in it. So will kwik kar accept responsibility for their mistake or will they reimburse me for the damages they caused.

I came up there for an oil change, and Jacob and Travis took good care of my car. There were a few recommended maintenance concerns he brought to my attention and took care of them in a timely manner. Great and friendly service. Highly recommend this place. I moves to Denton and found a great local friendly place. I bring all my cars here. I like that they explain what your car needs to prolong the life of your car.

Anytime I come to this location to do any kind of services the receptionist named Vicky has an attitude towards me. I ve even had other employees State they don t understand why she is so rude to me. She will help other customers that have come in after I would, also would try to say that she she had informed me of things that she did not ever say. It is completely unethical of how I keep getting treated here. I would advise anyone not to come to this location anymore for business purposes. Unless you wish to be treated unfairly.

This is from my second visit to this location on June 19 '23.Took my project into this location cause I needed an oil change and was being lazy and didn't want to lay on the hot concrete myself. Not only did the full oil service take less time than changing a tail light, they fixed a small oil leak the engine has had since I bought it. I don't even know what was causing it, or if they even know they fixed something I've been searching for. Reception staff was very helpful and communicated clearly. "Most unpleasant" and funny part was watching the tech struggle with getting the transmission into reverse, I drive a 5 speed with a very strange lock out on reverse. Took me a few days to really figure out there reverse unlock pattern.I will be returning and happily give them more of my money.Service was a 10 of 10. Personal interaction between myself and the 2 or 3 staff members I spoke with was a 10 of 10. I didn't feel like another number added to the days tally. I felt like I had been going there for years.Your don't get service reps like these people just anywhere. If you need their service, I highly recommend this location.

I had only came to get an inspection and mind you I was only female there so I came to get inspection and when I turn my car on the engine light was on and he told me he need to check to see what up with that as soon he done checking it I check my car it was still on so he said he can t fix it but run the diagnostic test so he was like I can t get get inspection because of that so I had my car back and talk to my father on phone and he told me turn my car off for 5 minutes and then turning it back on and guess what it the light shine went away and I did the work and they re gone charge me 100$ for diagnostic test without telling me. I only came for inspection for 25$ and they charge me high for no reason that they didn t fix anything l. Also when I left it been two days tell me why my car start to smoke and my friend check my car and my oil cap was missing!?!?!. That would ve killed me if I didn t know it wasn t there because they re the one going through my car so don t go to them especially if you a woman alone

My oil cap was not put on correctly the last 2 times have gotten my oil changed. The second time and last time I went back I had to wait an hour before anyone even looked at it. They would never fix anything that they broke. All they had to do was fix the oil cap which could have taken 5 minutes.

Arrived sat in car for about 5 minutes until greeted. Then asked to park that there were two cars in front of me. It would 20 minutes until they could get started.5 cars later I am still sitting and am forced to ask about my car.Just be clear and consistent with communication.After an hour wait, car finally pulled up.After an hour and a half someone approached and apologized for the wait and offered me a free car wash. That is worth at least one more star right?2.5 hours for an oil change and radiator flush. Not even a choice on oil type. Would have preferred synthetic at 144k

Worst service I've ever had they lie about what they are doing to your car and don't even do the things you pay for it's a waste of money, if you care about your car I wouldnt recommend you bring it there

The folks here are very professional and fast. They also will tell you if they see any problems wrong with your vehicle and they're very friendly and knowledgeable.

Came in for a quick oil change and ended up being helped by Travis. He was great to say the least! Check out my vehicle for me and let me know everything that I needed to have serviced on my vehicle. Didn't seem like he was trying to sell me anything, but rather trying to help me prevent any future damage to my vehicle. I will definitely be back and thank you Travis for all your help!

Went in for an oil change today and management would not accept my frequent user card that documents (8 stamps) previous oil changes. This is the 2nd time in the last year I have had this problem. I have been doing business with this location from the day it opened approximately 10 years ago. I have to be one of their better customers as I have 150-200 oil changes at this location since they've been in business. The previous ownership was hands-on and issues were resolved with a lot of class. The current ownership is absent and customer service has suffered. There also has been a recent change in management and customer service now really stinks. The front desk person and manager totally dismissed my complaint. They must have purged records sometime in the last 3 years because they only show a fraction of my service tickets and acted like my inquiry was unfounded. I probably have referred 40 of my best local car customers to this store, but I won't be making any new referrals. I strongly believe in shopping Denton and loyalty to family owned businesses, but I moving my need for service elsewhere. BTW, one of my referrals happened to also be in this store today and phoned me complaining about how rude the front desk was; he has 3 cars that he will no longer service at this store.

Have been there twice for an oil change. Both times they failed to secure my skid plate. Both times they fixed it after I went back. The second time they didn't replace all the bolts that had fallen out so I had an insane rattle until I fixed it. I get that people make mistakes and that's why I gave them a second chance, but twice is a little ridiculous.

$242 for a basic diesel oil change? This is WITHOUT a filter? The only reason I stopped in was my local mechanic (not a large corporation) was backed up.I sent him a picture of the receipt and he said he'd do the oil change AND filter for around $170.Faceless corporation taking advantage of people. They could have easily told me the price and I would have joyfully driven away and never returned (which is also happening. I'll never return). Trash operation.

Great place to go for service or repairs. Can't beat their prices. Most repair shops/stealerships are charging $165-230 per labor hour, Kwik Kar does it for $110, wow!!!!!!! I have been coming to this location for years. I have recommended it to friends. That ends today. During the course of an oil change, the oil pressure sensor was damaged. When I went to start the vehicle, the check gauges light came on and the oil pressure was zero. I called it to the employees attention. I open the hood and found the damaged sensor. I was given the "how do you know we broke it?" story. I stated it worked on my arrival and no sooner than I touched it to see if was connected, it fell off."Oh, you touched it" the employee stated."That's how you're going to play it" I said.He remarked of how old my car is, which it is.He remarked of the noises my car makes, which it does.He remarked of how many miles is on my car, which is a lot.Got that many miles by taking care of it.Everyone makes errors in this world. How you handle those errors shows the content of your character.These folks have no content.They have always done excellent work in the past. You may wish to come here. The price is fair and the work is usually excellent. Just hope nothing goes wrong. It will be your fault not theirs.Service: Oil change

Great Service!. Heath did a great job explaining his recommendations and actually showing me the fluids. I appreciate the he wasn't upselling, just make me aware my transmission fluid was Black. Got my Oil Change, Cabin & Air Filter along with the transmission flush. In and out within a little over an hour just like he said. The young lady at counter was also very friendly she greeted my as so as I walked in and offered me a Car Wash for half off. I just had to add to my review. Went in again today 8/24/18 for inspection and oil change. I also knew my car probably needed more maintenance. From the minute I arrived until the minute I left, the service was outstanding. Drew was a top-notch mechanic and was also very kind as I was on crutches. They really understand customer service. All around nice people and their prices are good too! So glad I went there today:-)I wrote this review in Aug. 2017. Second time I have been here. First, they did an excellent job making sure my son's car was ready for his long trip back to college. And, today, I went in for an inspection. They were so fast and they were also friendly and helpful. The new cashier was extra kind as I was not very mobile today and she held the door for me and had them move my car around front when it was finished so I didn't have to walk too far. They are also very reasonably priced. Very impressed! We will be back.
