Great experience coming to this place. As soon as I walk in I was greeted with a smile and very helpful information. Red and the staff help me with picking the best options for my truck. Services was done so quickly that I still had time left over from taking lunch. Thank you for your help

Everyone here is so kind and great!! They keep everything transparent and help with making me understand how to keep my car working correctly. They are willing to share information about my car so I can be prepared for possible problems in the future and get ahead of them. Jamel the manager, James the tech and Mike Scaranto in sales all have a hand in helping me over the times I ve gotten work done! Great team they got running there!

Nathaniel was very helpful. My car broke down in Denton and they were able to fix it by following day because parts had to be ordered. I live about 35 miles away and they helped us locate a rental car to get home. I was traveling with my daughter and granddaughter. It all worked out and my car is running better than ever.

My car broke down and had it towed here for them to check out since they were one of the few full service shops close to where I broke down. Had to leave it with them overnight. They do a diagnostics on it but can't figure out why it won't start anymore. They can't figure it out and chalk it up to an electrical issue and recommend I take it to the dealership. Turns out my gas gauge isn't working and it was out of gas..... I put some gas in the tank and drove away while mean mugging the techs in the garage.

Walked in at opening on a Sunday morning, met with sincere greeting and assured a tire check and texas safety inspection would be expedited. Crew banter gave me the impression that they enjoy their work, which gave me confidence in a job well done. I'd take my 2013 Volvo back for future work as needed.

Feb. 12, 2024Firestone Store #678988502 W University Dr.Denton, TX 76201-1844Repair Requested: When cruise control is turned on, indicator light illuminates, but will not engage when set button pressed. I Told the Service Advisor (SA) is most likely the cruise control cutout switch needs to be adjusted. I asked SA to check this first. SA rolled his eyes and ignored my suggestion. (Turns out I was correct.) I also ordered an oil change.Seat & steering wheel cover not used when tech drove my car into service bay. I told the Service Advisor (SA) I want the tech. to use a seat and steering wheel covers. SA said (sarcastically) said they always use them. Told SA I just saw the tech get into my car without using either one. SA said I ll remind him attitude from the advisorSA says vehicle inspection reviles Brake Light Switch found to be defective. I told SA I have had no problem with brake lights; asked if this will if this will solve the cruise control not engaging SA assured me yes, it will. Told part will have to be delivered, be a couple or three of hours. Asked for a ride home (15 minutes away), since ETA could be 3 hrs. SA said OK, but give me 30 minutes. This was fine with me.After waiting for an hour, I asked a different SA for a new ETA. SA asks tech, returns and tells me tech said 3 more hours. HOWEVER, SA tells me is a newly hired and is not sure if the tech was being sarcastic or not. (I got the impression this new SA has been disrespected by the techs because he was the new SA .) SA said tech seems aggravated when he asked. Asked the SA Please tell the tech the customer is not amused. I need a real ETA. SA asked the tech. again. I could see this discussion through the window to the service bay. The body language of the tech looked angry or at least aggravated when he answered the SA. New ETA is under 15 minutes; new part just delivered.30 minutes later SA tells me wrong part delivered. Told I will have to return in the morning. Told I have to leave a $50 deposit to have the correct part delivered. Deposit charged to my Firestone Credit Card (enclosed, I won t be using it).Arrived next morning (Feb. 13, 2024) at approximately 8:30. The brake light switch installed within 15 minutes. SA told me cruise control is fixed. SA did not test drive or even check if the brake lights worked probably because there was nothing wrong with them in the first place. I told the SA that I am going to test drive and check the repair. SA demanded I pay first, got angry when I refused. Cruise control still does not work the reason I was there in the first place.Returned to store and told the Tech (not the SA, who was nowhere to be found) cruise control not fixed. I told tech to replace the old part, which he did. SA told me I have to pay a $129 diagnostic fee. I told SA I am not paying for a diagnostic fee that did not diagnose the problem. SA became angry, said his tech spent a lot of time working on my car. I agreed, he did waste a lot of my time working on my car but did not repair the cruise control.In a sarcastic tone voice asked would I rather be charged $200 for an entire system check. Replied its better than wasting half a day for nothing, returning the next day for the wrong part to be installed.SA did remove the inspection fee from invoice. When handing my receipt says HERE YOU GO BUDDY!! sarcastic & angry tone of voice. Receipt is mostly unreadable due to malfunctioning printer. I asked for a receipt I could read. SA said THIS IS AS GOOD AS YOU IT GETS! The next day I adjusted the cruise control cut out switch myself, cruise control works perfectly. So do my brake lights.

Normally I would never write a review, but this experience really bothered me. I've taken my car here before and never had any issues which is why I gave 2 stars. I took my car in this week to have it looked over before a big road trip and to pump up the tires due to cold weather and change the oil. When I got my car back, the tires were still low. I thought maybe a problem with the sensor so I checked the pressures myself. They were the same as when I took it in. My tires needs 36 psi in cold weather and mine were 30 in the back tires and 32 in the front, the same as when I brought it in. So they didn't pump the tires up. I called to let them know and if I could take it in for them to pump them up. The lady at reception was very condescending and kept trying to explain that tire pressure gets low in the cold. I am aware they get low in the cold, which is why I need them pumped up! I wouldn't have had such a problem with them forgetting to pump up the tires if the lady at the reception hasn't been so rude. Will not be coming here again

I am so glad Jommel has recently acquired his own store his good hearted customer service is above and beyond. I first met Jommel in Carrollton, TX and now followed him to the Denton, TX store. Less than 1 star is what they deserve! I got there 6:30 for an oil change and they would not take me in and the workers were just sitting on the couch in the lobby just being jerks by giving me dirty looks for coming in. They would just rather play on their phones than to do what they are paid to do. I'll never go there again. I went across the street to Take 5, 5 minute oil change with 15 minutes until they close and they changed my oil and did with a smile on their face and were proud of their work!

I came to this Firestone location and was very impressed by how kind, knowledgeable and helpful Julia and Taylor the technician were. I came in last minute and they were so kind to still allow me to get a courtesy check . If you want to get great service by great people definitely come to this location!

Everything was great just that I could not get the type of oil I had been using in my car for the last 2 years. But my car seems to be running better with the oil they put in.

Don t fix your car here especially if you are a woman. The front desk is incompetent. I went to them over three times after being told to go in person, and being told that I had an appointment. The third time I actually had to raise my voice and say I m not coming back for a third time just for you all to replace my car battery. (With a warranty btw) and literally they said it would fix my cars issue and it didn t. I won t be going back for anymore maintenance here.

If you re thinking about coming here. Don t. Set an appointment the day before for an oil change. Got there and they said that I would have to leave the car there because they re busy. I went to pay and they tried to trick me into signing for a $90 full synthetic oil change. I asked why it s $90 and they said it s because that s what kind of oil my car takes. My car is a 2012 and has always taken conventional oil. Made it seem like he wouldn t even be able to put that in his computer, but of course he could and he did. I can t imagine the amount of people they have scammed into paying for full synthetic when they know good and well it s not required. Waited 4 hours and they still hadn t even started on it. Waited another 40 minutes for them to do it after I saw them pull the car in. 20 minutes until they close I go to pay and my car won t start. They say it s my starter even though I ve had no problem with my car starting up until then. Basically tell me I m out of luck and there s nothing they can do. Try to quote me another $460 for a starter and labor. What a joke this place is. Don t even greet you when they walk in waited a good 30 seconds for them to finish their conversation for them to tell me that even though I have an appointment I have to wait 5 hours and leave my car. Worst experience I ve ever had anywhere not just with taking my car somewhere, anywhere. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. I hope someone sees this and they go somewhere else. If not there s plenty of other bad reviews you can look at.Service: Oil change

I want to commend Julia on her customer service skills. Thank you Julia for turning a horrible experience into a good one and being that "ray of sunshine", as you put it, in my day.I made an online appointment at the store on Brinker, but upon arrival, they told me I didn't have an appointment (reading google reviews, seems to be a repetitive issue with Firestone). After being told it would be later in the afternoon before they could get to me, I called the store on W. University and spoke to Julia. I explained what happened, and she told me, although they only had one technician (which was the same as the Brinker store by the way), to bring my truck up there and she would "make it right".I arrived 10 minutes later, and she profusely apologized for what happened (even though she and her store had nothing to do with it). She spoke to the technician, who was also very friendly, and they took my truck in immediately. Approximately 20-30 min later, the alignment was complete.Julia completely understands the importance of customer satisfaction from a corporate perspective. She sympathized and apologized for my experience for Firestone as a company. She could have easily taken the attitude that this experience didn't come from her store so why should she care, but she did exactly the opposite and has earned my future business because of it.Promote this young lady to management!!! The front desk person is horrible. She s so rude to me I asked for certain time to specify but she s so mean. We aren t coming for free we r paying money for your services. Better be kind and respectful. This place is horrible.

Thank you Julia and the crew at Firestone. My son is a student at UNT from CA and had a flat tire - the Firestone crew fixed the flat, rotated the tires and did an alignment all under the Firestone Warranty. Very easy.

I walked in at 12:06 for an oil change. The lady said it would be done in an hour or two. I informed her I would be at the gym and when they finish to please call. When I come back the guy working says she scheduled me for 2:30.What was running through her head?I asked why my vehicle didn t receive service. They re response because we have to call Silverrock and they take forever The people here have an hard time explaining accurate information, good luck when it comes to maintenance on a vehicle.*if you re a walk in, they prioritize appointmentsService: Oil change

One of my best experiences with any Firestone. Not only did they fix my truck right the first time, but communicated with me on possible issues with my truck from the beginning. Leah was very helpful and informed me that because of my loft it may not fit on the rack for the alignment but they would try and it worked. I would also like to mention that the technician actually took my truck on a test drive to make sure it was right (this doesn't happen much from my experiences at other locations). He noticed it needed a slight adjustment so it saved me from having to bring it back. They finished my truck in a reasonable time frame and everyone there seemed nice. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

Most expensive place I ve ever called. They wanted $100 more than any other place I called for a full synthetic oil change! Mobile 1 elsewhere. Also out of 8 places I called they were the only ones charging for a tire rotation when I was getting an alignment done.For alignment, oil change and tire rotation, they were creeping up on $300. Absolutely ridiculous.

These guys are useless. We just needed a patch on a tire that was less than 6 months old, and they wouldn t do it because the tread was too low. We agreed to replace the tire because either way it was spewing air, and they take it into the garage and replace the WRONG TIRE. We take it back to make it right and suddenly, like magic, they can patch the tire! :D And they ll even do it for free. Enjoy my other perfectly good tire I guess. If you need tires, don t get them in Denton.Service: Tires

I run Transportation out of Ardmore Oklahoma and upon getting stranded in the Kroger parking lot, I walked past this place and eventually asked if they could help. Not only did they help, they fixed the problem, and did it with humility because I didn't have much cash at all. Both the service tech and the man running customer service were well informed, straightforward, and honest which is a rarity. Highly recommended. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR ELECTRONIC RECIEPT BECAUSE THEY DONT DO PAPER RECIEPTS however their desk lady has adhd, she can t type or doesn t care to get the right email.I came in for a lifetime alignment. At the desk was the lady with the purple hair and nails and was mad that I couldn t afford to pay $500+ because they found that my shocks/ Stuts were leaking profusely . Strange thing was I asked her if the mechanic can show me and she replied, he deaf lmfao.Two days later I found a place down the street that showed me nothing was wrong. I called her back because she never sent the receipt. I am now at the one in Coppell and I m having the dude pull up my order from that location and she STILL PUT DOWN THE WRONG EMAIL. When I called her back to get the reciept I GAVE THE EMAIL TO HER THE 4th time PHONETICALly. HOW DO MESS THAT UP? Anyhow when I paid the $200+ for the alignment I gave her my email three times. Make sure you have her READ THE EMAIL TO HER AND PHONE NUMBER. I think this **** is deaf not the mechanic

They know how to take appointments but they don't know how to do appointments. I went in on time for my appointment and they asked me to come back an hour later. So I did. When I came back they strung me along for another 30 minutes saying the car ahead of mine was almost done. They kept saying this for 30 whole minutes. I have a baby and can't spend all day hanging out at Firestone.
