Took my Cobalt in for a valve cover leak and I have only good things to say about this shop! The customer service is awesome and their pricing is really fair. I was able to drop it off late last night and they had it done by today. I ll definitely keep using these guys. Great job

I was referred here by a friend after my car broke down because it was leaking transmission fluid. These guys were very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank God it just needed a new drain plug and fluid replaced but before they diagnosed it John educated me on all of my options with the warranty I have with Kia. Also his dad took me home while they diagnosed it and picked me up when it was ready which is a very nice service. I am so happy I was introduced to this place and will definitely recommend it to family and friends. Thanks again guys!

Ryan and his team were fast, friendly, and fairly priced. My daughter's at UNT and one day her car refused to start. After looking at online reviews, I decided to have it towed here.Ryan's team had it fixed within 2 business days, explained exactly what was wrong, offered to keep it for another day to make sure they were no outstanding issues. There weren't.Ryan kept me informed every step of the way and gave me an even better price than my longtime closer-to-home mechanic.For as long as my daughter is at school in Denton, we'll be using Allgood for any and all of her car-related needs.

I've only ever come here, because they sell interstate batteries. However, the team is kind, efficient, fairly priced, and very helpful! Even when I call ahead someone always answers! These guys are great.

I was having intermittent trouble with my car not starting. It was periodically blowing starter fuses. I am a intermediate-level backyard mechanic, so I did all I could think of (and learn from forums and YouTube) to diagnose and fix the problem. No luck. I took the car to Allgood and explained the problem and my attempts to fix it. They listened, said it sounded like the starter was failing, gave me a quote (parts and labor) to replace it, and said they would check for wiring problems and such before replacing the starter. By the way, I got a quote to replace the started from another local, well-known, shop with a good reputation. The quote from this other shop was $250 higher than Allgood. (To be fair, the other shop has a longer warranty, but I don't think it was worth the extra $250.)So, I dropped off the car at Allgood one afternoon. They got to it the next morning, called me and said they could not find any wiring or electrical problems, and recommended replacing the starter at the quoted price. I said, "OK", and a few hours later, they called and said my car was ready. I am completely satisfied with the work Allgood did. I think Allgood is a friendly, no-frills, no-nonsense shop that is staffed by a bunch of good, honest mechanics. I recommend Allgood to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle.

All brakes related lights went off and regenerative breaking disappeared at the same time. Had local break specialist say they would not even look at it as it was "obviously" the break booster module and to go to the dealer. Dealer say just over 7k and charged me $100 for diagnostic. I found that they did not even fill the bone dry break fluid reservoir.Found Allgood auto in a search for Toyota specialist locally. They kept it for three days trying to duplicate the problem and to find the leak of fluid. They had every mechanic in the shop try to find a fault.They advised that I watch the fluid levels and the braking. If it reoccurring they would do the part replacement. They did not charge me a cent after several hours spent trying to find a fault.It has been 4 and a half months and no change. All is good because of the guys at Allgood. Yeah that sounded lame but I meant it. I will be taking other family vehicles to them going forward because they we honest and did not try to hose me for a very expensive and unnecessary repair.Service: Auto brake repair

I recently had to bring my Impala due to a bad oil change by another place in town. With the problems we were having, we weren't able to pass inspection, and the car was running pretty rough. With their patience, thoroughness, and communication, they got my car back to great shape again and she runs better than ever. They kept in communication with me about everything and wanted to be sure the problem(s) were resolved. I wish I had found this shop years ago when I moved here as I highly recommend this place for your car repairs. The costs were in expectation of the problem we were having and the time frame was quick but thorough.

Very nice and honest shop. Their rates are reasonable and their customer service is on point. I wish I could remember the guy's name who service my AC on my car. He's great. If you ever go there ask for the guy who drives the blue Chevy with the ice cold AC. He's the best. But all each employee that I've come in contact with there were very cool. Keep up the honest and great work!!!!!! It's hard to find a honest auto shop these days!

Great place to get your car fixed up! They are crystal clear about the price and let you know upfront before working on the car so that you don't be surprised later. They are friendly and my car is having no issues after getting it fixed so I sure do 100% recommend this place.Cheaper than other places and they know what they are doing If my car has other issues, I will go with them again.

I brought my car for a repair and they never got it right after 3 times. I recommended my daughter to Allgood auto. She was mainly looking for good work and good price because she was a struggling college student. I have to tell you she got neither. First I needed a rack gasket installed which normally cost around $1400 they came in cheaper than anyone. We went for it because we figured because the car was a 2006 any mechanic should be able to work on it. Then that's where the trouble started Allbad we bought it back and replaced it again. It leaked we brought it back and it leaked again. So at this point you know we are thinking its the part so we got the dealers part and we got charged $300 more dollars.Okay we think we are set now. But noticed a distinct scraping noise when turning the wheel. We asked about it and was told to bring it back because it was minor and it could be fixed quick. Well no it was not minor and we were lied to. We took it to another shop and found out the part was knowingly installed wrong and because it was so much labor to fix it we were given the run around. So the other shop (Strandes Garage Denton) fixed it correctly at a discounted price because of Allgood 3 consecutive screw ups. The part they installed wrong cost over $1300 dollars of front end damage. You must understand after installing the part wrong they had to over compensate the front end alignment so the car would ride right. So yes they knew it was installed wrong and were very dishonest about it. Strandes went back and fixed Allgood's circus of mistakes.Look I know you get what you pay for but trying to save money on this job cost me three times what it should have. I am just posting this to remind you if your going to this shop DO NOT DO IT in the long run you would be better off spending the extra money. They are a bunch of shade tree mechanics in a storage shed and they will screw your car up and then lie about it. Remember they say they will fix it bring it back but your time and has to be worth more than this. I suggest Strandes Garage Denton speak with TJ and I guarantee he will fix it right the first time and for a decent price all their mechanics are Masters so you do not have to worry about what we went through. I am almost 60 years old and still learning life lessons. I wish I could give them a negative star. I am still finding things wrong they screwed up. Please don t use these people you will regret it for years like I have smh

Honest mechanics are about as rare as a 4-leaf clover, and I was "lucky" enough to find some. These folks will not over sell. They charge a fair price. They shoot straight. Best auto repair EVER.

Allgood responded to a post of mine on Facebook. They were also recommended by a friend. I dropped my car off at 8 am on Monday. They gave me a ride home and picked me back up around noon when my car was ready. I had the part, so they only charged me for one hour worth of labor (which was less than every other mechanic's hourly rate Ive been to.) They were straightforward and extremely easy to deal with. I will definitely go back any time my car needs a repair.

So far so good! I had a major repair that needed to be done and Allgood's pricing was the best. I didn't feel like they were trying to price-gouge me in any way. I used them in the past and their work is guaranteed (if you buy the parts from them for your repair). Lastly, Clarence is fair and honest and made the experience worthwhile. I'll definitely use Allgood in the future if needed.

I've been going to this repair shop for almost 5 years and they have never let me down yet they've worked on five vehicles in my family every time they gave me a fair and honest assessment the pricing was fair and if I had a problem which I did not they always were sympathetic and took care of it. truly one of the best kept secrets on getting any work done on your vehicle. I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma with over 230,000 mi on it and they treat it great. I had some electrical issues and needed a oil change and they took both good care of that.

Fuel Pump ReplacementVery fair pricing and warranty coverage.My son goes to school in Denton and I had to help from Houston with finding and trusting a repair shop.Clarence took care of everything for us and kept in touch with me through repair completion. Very happy we found Allgood Auto repair that took care of my family, without me being there.Highly recommend!

My son attends college in Denton. I searched for reccomendations for auto repair and Allgood came up in most of the suggestions. I called and spoke with them and my son went by the next day. Cost estimate spot on, estimated repair time in and out was spot on, and quality work. Absolutely genuine people! I brought my truck to them after Toyota told me my water pump is leaking and it would cost me $1200 total to replace. I called these guys after reading the Yelp reviews and got quoted $550 which more than reasonable for me. After dropping off my truck, I got a call informing me there is nothing wrong with my water pump and everything works fine. I left the place today paying $20 for a radiator cap. I really appreciate the honesty from these guys! These are the type of people you want to handle any problems with your vehicle, reasonable and trustworthy.

One of the best experiences I ve had taking my car to have work done. The guys were extremely nice and professional; even gave me a ride home after dropping off my car! Initially called to get an estimate on labor prices for an alternator replacement. They allowed me to provide my own part and were very honest and reasonable with repair prices. I had my car towed to their location, they called to confirm that they had received it and stayed true to their cost and time estimates once my car was fixed. Quick turn around, especially without making a previous appointment, and were very communicative during the process. 10/10 will recommend their services to all of my Denton friends!
