I always jinx myself but I've been going to these guys for 4 years now. Never had any problems with them .. my motto is that finding a good mechanic is like finding a good barber you never let them go. Good mechanics are very difficult to come by

I took my 03 Honda Odyssey here after being at another shop in town. They really know their stuff and were able to accurately diagnose the check engine light the first time. The other mechanic had recommended changing additional parts that turned out not to be the problem after all. I saved money, time, and received honest and timely service. Clean and organized shop and waiting room also. Thanks for getting my family van back on the road!!!! For all things Honda, this is my new shop!

Last Monday I called AAI to ask if they could order and install two window regulators in my '03 Miata. Matt ordered the parts and we agreed I would drop the car off this morning at 8 am. Two hours later, Matt called me to let me know the car was "buttoned up and ready to go" and did not need new regulators. They simply cleaned things up a bit and made a few adjustments to the old regs.Matt, thanks for your honesty and professionalism. I'll be back with the other two cars very soon.Came back today with the Lexus and Tacoma for an oil change. We were in and out very quickly and at a reasonable rate.Thanks Matt

I had an extremely pleasant experience. Dropped my car off after closing using their key drop system, picked up the next day just before 5. They did a front break job, oil change and air filter replacements. I mostly dealt with Matt, he was super nice and communicative and called me with an estimate in the morning prior to service. Very affordable service and very high quality. I couldn t be happier and I would recommend to anyone with an import!!Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

I sincerely wish I would have had an experience similar to what you're seeing in these comments. Unfortunately, my experience could not have been more different. I was referred here by a friend who had basic services done, and after looking at the reviews I thought I had finally found a trustworthy bunch of people. The team here absolutely scammed me for close to $3000, and they would have kept going if I let them. They recommended work that did not need to be done. They lied about the condition of parts, insisted things were vitally wrong, when they were perfectly fine, and after the large bill and the long wait the vehicle was returned with the exact same issues. I ended up researching the problem and fixing the issue with a total of $60 and 1.5 hours of labor in my own garage. I was scammed this badly with mild mechanical experience. I can only imagine what they have done to others.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine tuning

My first time taking it to non-dealer location. I was hesitant, but tried this place out because dealer was booked and they had great reviews. Took it in to get an odd sound coming from the hood checked out (they didn t find anything which is cool I guess since most places will bill you for anything). Decided to take care of an oil change while there, thought everything went well, car has a slow leak now. It s a 25 min drive for me, so just sucks that I have to take it in again for something that shouldn t have happened in the first place. I ll have to take time out of my schedule to take it in, wait, drive back etc. extremely unnecessaryEdit: I ended up taking the car back and I ll chalk it up to a faulty part, they took care of it. Unfortunately I did have drive back and leave my car etc, but I ended up doing additional service with them about 2 months back and my car is working very well. I ll continue to use them, they are honest and cheaper than the dealer.

Dropped my car off with the transmission showing signs of struggle. No check engine light. It was drivable for the most part and only jerked here and there when shifting into drive. I was called within a few hours and told the fluid was dirty and it needed a flush. He recommended a double-flush of some kind and said it should take care of the problem . I was charged $224 and got my car back same day. Immediately at pickup, the showed the symptoms again but it was due to be in a body shop and I was in rental for 3weeks. Once I got my car back, I drove it for two days with symptoms progressively getting worse and the vehicle almost disabled about an hour from home. It is now in another transmission shop with BURNT FLUID, not dirty! Theres a possibility that the wrong fluid was used and made it burn up quicker! WTF the biggest problem is All About Imports wasted my money and time and possibly created further damage to my vehicle. Also put myself, my kids and ride customers at risk for breakdown or worse. Now I m looking at major repairs or a rebuild putting this single mom unable to get her kids to sports this summer and unable to get to work. You were charging me a $100 to diagnose, not check the fluid and say that s it! You clearly didn t drive it nor diagnose it.Edit post reply: the service should not have been performed is the consensus on all profession parties involved. High mileage fluid changes are known expedite the failure of the transmission. The car was bought with high mileage & not serviced in my time of owning. This place was NEGLIGENT & regardless of one s history, being intentionally irresponsible is a choice & a legal situation.Service: Transmission

Matt, and the All About Imports team are incredible! Very friendly, and most importantly, honest. I had a transmission replacement and my dealership was charging me a price that was astronomical, All About Imports charged me 25% of what Toyota was trying to charge me! The amount of shops I go to that try to sell me on different things I don t need but they recommend is rediculous. All About Imports is my go to shop for any car related needs, they are quick, honest, great at communicating. I've been going here for years... Jason, Matt, David, everyone here are quite amazing at what they do with the knowledge to boot. More than fair prices and good customer support goes a LONG way, and they SURPASS that mark every time. If you have a Japanese import, do NOT pass this place up for your mechanical needs.

First time I called this place was over a year ago, asking about a timing belt replacement. I was fortunate enough to get to speak with Jason, the owner, on that first call. When compared with other businesses that do this type of specialized, and expensive but necessary maintenance, you will have a better overall experience when calling All About Imports (AAI) and asking them for a detailed explanation of what is done and what all gets replaced - maybe you're even lucky enough to get to speak with Jason.Finally, when the time came to replace my timing belt (I took mine up to 98k miles), I went with AAI because I remembered that phone call from well over a year ago as well as the expertise and time that Jason took to speak with me about this maintenance. Also, the price was lower than the dealership as well as other businesses in and around Denton area. But price alone is not what sold me on their services. Give them a call, check out their website and reviews, and if you get to speak with Jason, then more power to you!Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance

Jason his family, and work family are the best! I have been working with them for over 10 years now, and I recommend them for all my car needs. I truly trust him with all of my heart , and would not purchase a car without his approval! He is number one in a million, and I cannot thank him enough for his help in keeping me riding safe, and being so honest, and knowledgeable with my car needs! I love love loveee this place so much!!! They always take insanely good care of my miata, they are so nice and always so quick! Everyone there is just so awesome!! I m so happy I ve found a place that specializes in imports because i ve had really bad experiences in the past with other mechanics.

This was the first time I have used AAI. My Subaru head gasket was changed and this is a big job. They were very professional and helpful and gave me good advice. David at the desk was always cheerful and had all the answers to my questions. Most of all, what they quoted me at the beginning was very close to the final bill. No extra surprise charges. Very very happy. Highly recommended.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

Jason, I wanted to thank you for selling us the 2006 Honda Civic LX back in December 2021. I ended up changing the motor mounts (like you suggested) and the civic is as quiet as a new car now. Drop off my car in this location for replace a part. Explain to guy that I have no car but the answer was sorry we are so busy! Even don't give me any estimate. My work done by end of their closing time and no explain about part and labor cost.

Loyal customer now after a few visits and recommendation from a friend. Jason is great and always knows how to take care of customers, even if it s cutting a break by not charging full price on an oil change because you already came in for some more expensive service. This place is not convenient for me, but I ll always use them for my car service. So far they ve done an A/C issues in both my cars, a radiator replacement, full 120k mile service. They can get pretty busy so I d recommend calling ahead and picking the day you can drop off or come by based on their schedule. Totally worth driving further or waiting a day or two to fit their schedule to have good reliable service.

My experience with Jason was great from start to finish. He was professional from the moment I dropped the truck off. I have nothing to complain about and much more than I anticipated to be happy about. He found a transmission solution that fit my budget. He got the work done on time and communicated with me every step of the process. I never had to call and nag them for anything. They swapped the transmission quicker than I anticipated and more than honored the price he quoted me even though he could have stuck quite a few more charges to the bill. He helped me understand a few more items that need attention even though he realized that I was probably going to do some of the easier items myself in my driveway. Offering free advice shows how much he cares about people and what he does for a living. Stop getting yourself in frustrating situations with inadequate mechanic shops and go to this shop from now on.

I drive 4 hrs one-way from Austin and stay overnight to get my car serviced here with Jason and his crew. Why? To start: they will tell you like it is; they wont try to up-sell/cross-sell anything above and beyond what you really need. The parts and labor prices are very reasonable--so reasonable that during my last visit, even after hotel and gas costs, I was able to save over $300 compared to quotes I received in Austin. The most significant reason why I drive 4 hrs? When I moved to Texas last summer. I arrived here alone, had no car, and knew no one. When I started the car purchase search, I needed to find someone with the expertise and reputation to do a thorough pre-purchase inspection for me. I found All About Imports from online reviews. Jason did the inspection and told me everything I needed to know to (1) get the best price on my hybrid vehicle and (2) to be prepared for future maintenance needs and costs. I felt confident from this inspection and was able to buy an amazing vehicle. From this first meeting at All About Imports to the subsequent appointments that followed, Jason has always remembered my name, greeted me with enthusiasm, and treated me like my good friends and family do in my hometown when I visit their businesses. If you are looking for reliable auto repair experts who will treat you well and show you the highest fiduciary duty, then you should seriously consider Jason and his crew at All About Imports--they are the epitome of what an auto repair and service business should be. They are the type of people and local business every community deserves and I am grateful to have connected with them. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

I was recommended this place after I purchased my Toyota, and Im glad I was! I've been going there for over 2 years for all my cars need and I love the service and honesty. Jason and his crew are the best! There are times that I have unfortunately had to get an oil change else where and the service and price just doesn't compare to how these guys work. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My cars still run like new!!!I've been taking both of my Hondas here since 2010. This is by far the best place to take your car for all of your needs. They are knowledgeable, honest, quick, courteous and most importantly set the proper expectations all of the time.Great team led by a great man!

This is gonna be long but tldr: they are amazing and its been such a long time since I've found a car place that doesn't treat me like I'm stupid.My car has had this weird AC issue for 3 years and I've been quite ridic prices and guesses by a number of places all going they've never heard of it. I found these guys thru a recommendation on nextdoor and I'm so happy I went with them.First call, I explained the issue and the technician immediately knew it could be a couple of things and had heard of it. I asked for transparent pricing, and they got my car in. They went above and beyond to test my car to reproduce the issue and saved me 1000s. They also did addtl things to help me in case something leaks we can identify what and where. I will be going to them from now on for anything I need. If you're a woman, I especially recommend as they will explain everything and get permission before doing anything so there are no surprise costs.

Had my Hyundai serviced here after I turned it on and it was stuck in "limp mode" with the check engine light on. The guys here accurately diagnosed the issue and had the part shipped and installed in a few days. They also did a courtesy check and found one of my belts was cracked. Thanks to them I avoided another potential break down. I highly recommend AAI if you have a Hyundai and want timely, friendly service.
