STAY FAR AWAY!!!A couple of days ago, around April 28, 2023, I went to this business to inquire about a state inspection for my vehicle and the exchange went something like this.Me: Hi, I d like to get a state inspection. How long does it take?Him: It takes as long as it takes. I never timed it.Me: Thinking he was joking. I asked, how much does it cost?Him: It costs $25. The state sets the rate. Some do it cheaper. If $5 means that much to you, you can get or not, it makes no difference to me.Me: At this point, I realized this old man was being rude to me for no reason. So, I let my window up and left immediately. I won t knowingly patronize a business who doesn t value me or my business. If 0 stars was an option, I would certainly rate them a 0.

Very, very, very poor service. I m not originally from Dallas so I was referred by my manager.I called over the phone due to my vehicle running hot and scared to move it. I had the worst over the phone experience ever! Two different guys got on the phone. The first guy asked if I wanted to speak to the head taco, they second guy got on the phone and said if I didn t speak Spanish he could not help me and hung up in my face. I gracefully called back and directly asked do you all fix vehicles and was told no and the phone was hung up again. I would not recommend this company even though it clearly states auto repair for the company s title, they don t take pride in fixing vehicles. This company was very unprofessional. I was out of work for a week and eventually had to get another vehicle because the closest mechanic shop wanted to play on the phone. This was very disappointing and unfortunate for myself and the business for losing business. I will never return.

Don t trust anything these people say. I was told that my control arm would be able to be welded if I brought it the next day. Todd Young handed me his card and told me that he s an honest person. When I drove back the next day to get it fixed as requested, he said they couldn t fix it because he has too much going on. I drove 30 minutes to get my car fixed. It says high performance work on his business card, but the business starts with integrity and he has none. DON T TRUST THEM.

BEWARE- not a true classic car repair shop!! Twice I tried this place (because they are close & thinking the first bad experience was an "off" day)... Despite my best efforts to be pleasant they are Rude, Short, Expensive, and Condescending.. 1ST time-Did NOT use parts I wanted to be used, saying the ones they had "on the shelf were better". 1800.00 later I still have the same issues I took it in for.... 2ND time (different car), they took in the vehicle, then kept it for 2 weeks telling me they had more important jobs that could "BRING IN MONEY" (suppose my money is no good?) He told me if I wanted to, I could just come get the car (NOT RUNNING!?!?) They act as though they do not want to really work on classic cars- though they make it LOOK like they do. They obviously want quick turns on common parts for current model cars & trucks. I must say if anyone gives this place a thumbs up or more stars, they must be employed, a "friend", or one of those "easy switch out fixes". I have found another person that cares about customers and loves classics. I will NOT go back to Youngs (nor recommend them) for ANYTHING....Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

Please be aware these people at Young Auto are Scamming. I agree for these people to fix my A/C. I ask him how much he said $ 300 or $ 400 but when i pick up the car it was $973.He never inform me about the price. Please beware of these people. Within four days the A/C was not working I brought it back. He refuse to fix it. i file with the Dallas policeman dept.Service: Air conditioning

The owners, Richard and Todd do most of the work themselves. These guys take pride in the work they do and their prices are very fair. I take all three of my vehicles here, along with our company vehicles. Repairs are always done properly without cutting corners. Hard to find trustworthy mechanics these days, but these guys are exactly that!!

Todd Young does excellent work on vehicles. He treats each vehicle as if it were his own and repairs are done to ensure the highest quality at the most affordable cost. I refer all my friends to Todd and know without a doubt he will take care of them in the same great manner in which he takes care of my vehicle. Thanks Todd & Richard

A great place to go to for car repairs! Went to get my water pump replaced on my 2006 VW Jetta 2.5 and I already bought the pump online at a very low price. I also bought my own coolant specifically fitted for my engine and gave them to the repairman Friday and it was ready Monday. I picked it up Tuesday morning and it cost $400 for labor which was obviously a lot less than it would have cost me at Pep Boys or other shops I have asked. Try this place out before you make a final decision to take your car anywhere else.

Took it up there to fix oil leak called first to see if they could do it and they said yes. Called me a couple of hours later said 350 to 400 I agreed. Then hours later they called back to say it was several other things and it would be 1500 but they don t have time to fix this week but charged me 39.00 to look at it

Took my car there, told them what I thought the problem was, charged me 89$ to tow the car from less than 500ft distance , another $39 to diagnose the car wrongly costing me 200$ , I ended up fixing a simple problem myself. A terrible day.

Rude, both of them. Apparently, they don t need anyone s business or care enough to make an effort. Was not greeted upon arrival, nor did they ever get up or out of their seats while discussing the issue. When asked who was the owner, I was told it didn t matter. Extremely unprofessional. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Well, for 250 you can get the spark plugs changed on your Cadillac, they also refer to it as a tune up.
