I waited 2 and a half hours for an oil change just for the incompetent mechanic with half his teeth to tell me that he does not know how to do it so he left it like that. I asked to fill up the air in my tires and not even that he did. When I asked If I waited for nothing he said yeah after I left I heard everyone laughing because of that. Horrible service, don t come here you have to wait a LOOOOT for nothing.

Just would like to let people know don t come here for services. It destroyed your mood and time. The mechanic is totally Incompetent. I waited for 2 and a half hours, then the mechanic came to tell me to help me open the caps on the tires. OK, I paid the money for tires and services, and then I helped him replace tires, what would I need you for??

My Everstart Max battery that I bought 6 months ago, was emitting toxic fumes, you could see the discharge on top of the battery. (See photos) I was getting weak and dizzy while driving, so I brought my car in for a warranty exchange on the battery. The associate at the counter called in a service technician after I told her what was happening and he said, it smells like rotten eggs right? I said yes, so he told the associate to book me in. Later, I got a call from a different technician who said my battery was good, but that they could not get my car to start because the remote in the key battery was dead. They were obviously lying because my key battery was fine, i explained the car battery is bad and that they were wrong, the problem is the car was not responding to the key. They insisted I needed to replace the battery in my key. Well I found out they actually blew my battery attempting to recharge it, because I asked them to retest the battery and it showed it needed a replacement. The battery had a higher charge when I brought it in, than when they tested it the second time, which indicated the battery needed replacement. I only chose this location because they showed the battery I needed in stock in the Walmart app. Unfortunately after all the fuss they realized the battery was not in stock. When I involved the store manager I told him the website showed it in stock and he said you can t trust the website it s always wrong . I said you can t say that sir because that is a valid complaint to your corporate office. He got very defensive and even defended his employees, while showing no regard for me as a customer. Essentially, I thought I was stranded at this point, but they put in a cheaper battery than the one I purchased, and reduced my 4 year warranty to a 2 year. I have kept the battery test results to prove that they completely blew the battery after I explained the situation. Will upload photos, I do not recommend this location. How as a mechanic do you not realize when a battery is dead?! And what s crazy is I had more power in the battery when I brought it in, than after they charged it and blew it!The only other thing is now I have to go to the doctor for exposure to sulfur dioxide. This is actually the second warranty replacement I ve had to go through because the battery was emitting toxic fumes of sulfur dioxide. They tried to take advantage of me because they thought that perhaps I was disoriented from inhaling the fumes! (Will be uploading battery test photos soon )

I was waiting in line at Automotive. I was next in line and the cashier allowed a customer that walked in to go before me. The cashier was very unprofessional. I called for management on my phone and he came to the back and made sure I was taken care of. The manager asked another automotive technician to take care of me by exchanging my battery. I noticed on my receipt that I cannot return the battery if something happens to it. Terrible experience. Poor customer service!

The oil change package lists a lot of services as included. None or very few are done.The receptionist did not allow me to pick the oil brand. She wasn t aware of different oil types and which would be used for my car. Wiper fluid wasn t checked and refilled. Tire pressure wasn t checked. Windshield wasn t cleaned. In addition, the car interiors were left much dirtier and will have to get it cleaned again.Not sure if it s walmart issue or issue with this specific center. Avoid this center!

Only get oil changes from them. Anything else is no good. They were supposed to change my oil air filter on my car. He told me they didn't have the one I needed after searching for 1. That's cool is what I told him once my car was finished with the oil change. I just checked under my hood a week later and the oil filter box where the filter is stored was not rescrewed down. They don't give a damn if they do something like that. Looks like they're hiring anybody!

This was a return visit to make another tire purchase. However, I walked in around 8am. Doors open for service at 7am. I ask how long the wait (1.5 or 2hrs)? I was not clearly verbally communicated with a time (just a shrug of the shoulders). Therefore in every interaction in customer service. Is a lesson to learn regarding time. There is the online booking for appt's. Also, The clerk was efficient just limited in clarity. However, the staff was inadequate in the shop repair. Which is respected of a longer wait time. So if you're a walk in for car service. The wait time could surpass a reasonable time if any anticipated turnaround time if estimating (2 hrs.) For your vehicle.

They didn t put my oil drain plug back on, which almost lead to catastrophic engine failure. I had the other shop (the one that fixed Walmart s error) bill me for an extra part and then I forced to Walmart pick up the bill. Thanks guys you bought me, and the entire shop, a legendary breakfast and I saved you from a $6000 repair billI would be surprised about this little mistake but their techs aren t paid well. The manager was nice.

One of the worst places to go to. The worst service. People that "work" there are completely incompetent. They should replace each and everyone of them. Waited my time going there to recive the most mediocre service ive recived in my life.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO TO WALMART TO SERVICE YOUR CAR. Today I went to Walmart to buy a tire. First and last time I do it, I must admit that the prices are a little lower than elsewhere. But still it's not worth wasting your time going to that place. The attention is lousy, no employee cares about your needs, they seem to be forced to work and hate their work environment. When I got to ask for my rubber they told me that they did not have the rubber I was looking for and when I turned around it was exactly the rubber I needed so I told them that they did have the rubber I was looking for. Then when they called me to tell me that my car was ready, they were rude, it seems that they were obliged to speak. BUT THE WORST OF ALL was that when I arrived and saw my car, the driver's seat was totally dirty with grease and black oil, and the new rubber rim I bought was green and extremely dirty. I went in to report the status of my car and nobody cared about me, a man came out to "help me" clean my seat and he told me here is this napkin, clean it yourself. So I recommend you go anywhere else, even if you are trying to save money like me it is preferable to go somewhere else where they know how to treat you like a person and not like garbage.

Bad customer service and unreliable car service. They did not put my tires on correctly and I had to take it somewhere else because they were already closed to get it fixed. Then the white asset management personnel act like he didn t want to refund me for what I had to get redone but of course the black manager did what was right. I ll never go back to get car services I doubt if I ever go in another Walmart again, this is consistent at this location. Target is much better.

Worst car service ever and customer service!! They don't deserve at least one star from me right now! Yesterday May 29th 2019 I went to the Auto Care Center to get a patch for my tire. Something that I paid almost $50 extra for free patches. They took an hour and a half long to tell me that they could not put a patch on my tire at all. They told me about my sensor that was broken but I never expected it to be inside my tire with other broken metal parts!!! So today May 30th 2019 I woke up and saw my whole tire deflated luckily I had a spare and went to another tire shop. I asked them that they can patch up my tire and they told me yes. While the process of getting my tire patched they found my sensor and the broken metal parts inside the tire. You can tell in the pictures that how they just threw it in there and air up my tire and let me drive my car like that. I live 3.5 miles away from the store within that process of me going home Tire could of popped and caused me to be in a car accident luckily nothing happened. But still this is not acceptable at all!! So if you're reading this please don't ever go there to get your tire replaced or repair!! It really shows how much they care about what they're doing with people's car!!

Walmart Auto Care Center @ 18121 Marsh Ln, Dallas, TX 75287in Carrollton gave me the absolute WORST SERVICE EVER!Not only did they install the wrong battery, but they also melted the battery cover by not bolting it down afterwards. Immediately after getting the new battery put in at Walmart on Trinity Mills in Carrollton, I went to my mechanic to get my oil changed and we discovered the battery cover was melted because Walmart didn't bolt it back in place after removing it. I went back to the Walmart later and complained. I can't return or exchange the battery even though it was brand new. They offered either a free oil change (right after I just had mine done and no way I'd rather get my oil change done by these idiots than my mechanic) or a replacement of the battery cover. I told them I'd like the battery cover replaced and they said they'd order one and it would be there in a few weeks. After several weeks, I went back and asked about it and they had no clue what I was talking about and didn't have the battery cover replacement.Oh, and don't forget I paid $150 for a new battery, but they put the wrong type in for my car and won't replace it or warranty it by replacing it with the correct type because it's a different kind.Service: Battery

I had to to wait 3 hrs for a new tire. I had to put my own air in the tire afterwards. They also didnt put the spare tire in the correct place. They just threw it in the trunk. They were a little cheaper but I wouldn t return back to them.

Horrible. Made an appointment online, told at checkin it would be hours and we would be at the end of the line. Why does Walmart encourage us to make an appointment and also say it will take an hour for four tires but then they don't actually mean that? Was told by management it isn't a real appointment. Gosh, your online system calls it an appointment so it makes sense that I would think it's an appointment. Horrible service.

After a traumatic experience with a blowout I come to this location to get my wheel (that s under warranty) replaced.Either the lady was a complete dunce or did not care about her job, she put me down for an oil change.Imagine wasting almost 2 hours thinking your tire is getting replaced, only for it to pull up with the same donut. What s worse was the lady tried to pin it on the mechanics! The men who were actually working and not being lazy like her.The auto manager was in full agreement, what I went through was RIDICULOUS. This lady needs to be held responsible and I will make sure that she does.In short, double check what the people in the blue vests do. The mechanics are hard workers and go based on what they see on the computer. It s the lazy front desk person you have to worry about if they ll do their job actually right or if they care. Shame on their customer service department.Service: Oil change

It was sunday evening and our tire exploded on the highway on our way back home (300miles away). We were able to use the spare tire to get to 3 walmarts, 2 of which refused to see us because they were closing (closing at 1730, when the operation hrs stated 1900). This location took us in at 1830 and not only they had the tire in stock, but were able to install it for us right away. The 2 mechanics who helped us, were quick and good customer service. Thank you to the mechanics in the back for the prompt service and for helping us in a difficult moment.

God awful service is an understatement when describing this group. Went in because my tire had a nail in it and was met by the most crotchety old lady in the world, extremely rude and unhelpful. They told me to leave my car and wait 2 hours which i did then i get a phone call saying they can t fix my tire and that i am out of luck. Thankfully i found a local shop near by who took care of me in 15 min. The lesson from this is to support local businesses and not places like this who are just there to earn their pay check and nothing else.

I brought my car in for what I thought was a routine oil change, and boy was I wrong. After waiting nearly 2 hours, my oil change was completed and my car was returned to me but with more problems than I started with (needing an oil change). Now my car would not start and took repeated attempts to finally get the engine to turn over. Upon bringing this to the attention of the auto center manager, One-Toothed James (OTJ), I was told well looks like you ll need to go get a diagnostic because we don t do nothin except drain the oil, change the filter, and add new oil and sent on my way with a vehicle that now had a CEL and reduced engine power. The one thing OTJ did that was helpful was claiming that if the diagnostic showed that it was due to the oil change he performed, then he would make it right and refund me. Upon getting a diagnostic, Firestone informed me that a wire had been severed by the threads of the oil cap in completing the oil change which was the likely cause of this issue. I have to go back today and get my refund and see if OTJ is a man of his word or if all the pride he has in himself is the cause of the lack of pride in his work. If you care about your vehicle and being able to drive it after an oil change, I would recommend literally anyone except OTJ or whichever Walmart he finds himself at next. If you re reading this, I just ask that you please pray for OTJ to finally figure it out after all these years.

Brought my car battery here to get replaced under its free three year replacement promise. The battery was not charging at home. I had my original purchase receipt in hand. They connected the battery to their tester and said the battery needed to be charged and that their charger was broken. I later took the battery to a Walmart Auto Center in Plano where the technician noticed that the plastic sides of the battery had bulged out and replaced the battery no questions asked.Service: Battery

I came to this location since it was closest with an auto center, because I noticed my tire is balding. After a 30 minute wait I was told he d have to look to see if they have the tire, walked around the floor to look instead of just using the computer, and gave me one option with the price. When I asked if that was after the installation, oh well we can do that but there will be a four car wait. So the price was just for a rimless tire? I can t put a tire on the rim myself and honestly I don t know anyone who would be able to do that and balance it who would be going to Walmart for a tire. 0 stars honestly.Service: Auto tire replacement

I needed a battery for my car immediately.I called this location and I got there just as the were closing up.I explained that it was an emergency and they got me right in and installed it in about 15 minutes. Battery, installation and 3-year warranty for a great price. Exceptional customer service.

Customer service at this Walmart location Auto Care Center is absolutely terrible. I went in to have a blinker bulb changed and the staff s technician insisted that the bumper needed to be removed to change the bulb, which is not true. I attempted to show the disinterested technician (Kawame) and customer service representative at the cash register (John) that the compartment could be accessed near the front tire but they did not care. I then purchased a bulb and screwdriver from the store and changed the bulb out myself. Thanks so much, Walmart Auto Care Center. As the cashier stated to me, compared to others, we have good customer service . Right your three star rating is outstanding .

I came to this location to replace my car tires. The prices are good. But the most important think is the customer service.Hamzeh, who I believe is the manager of this location, is amazing. He provided a great service with outstanding professionalism and care.These small things are the ones that make the difference.Thank you.

I took my SUV for a simple tire balance. I personally would not recommend taking a high end car or to do any major maintenance work.The tire balancing was not done perfect. I need to get it done again. I think they do not have a standard quality control. The quality of the job depends on the capacity of the technician that worked on your job.Also, they never answer calls
