I called to see if they were able to inspect my Piaggio. I was told to show up and it should take 10-15 minutes. I showed up, was greeted and the inspection began in 5 minutes. I was checked out in 12 minutes. Very quick and a very great customer experience.

Customer service was decent. I was told they would be able to evaluate and work on vehicle same day or next day. All of the sudden 3 to 4 days later vehicle was done. I felt deceived. Never informed had to call for an update. $1300 for parts and labor for rack and pinion. Felt price was expensive when the part they bought was not oem and and still up-charged. Work was done but felt pricing needs work and communication needs to much improve.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Had my alternator replaced here. A few months later, the battery light comes on again, several times. So I take it back to Torres because they told me that their work was under warranty. Four hours later, they call to say that they ran a diagnostic and nothing was wrong with my car.When I returned to pick up my car, I was then told that I had to pay $25 to get my key back because they ran a diagnostic. But when I dropped the car off, no fee was ever mentioned, and no fee schedule was posted inside, either.I paid but made clear that I was never told that there would be any charge. In response, I was told "no work is free"--but they should have said before taking my car keys.As a repeat customer who somehow keeps having battery issues since first coming here, I feel ripped off.Services: Electrical repair, Battery

Friendly. Affordable. Neighborly.I had John Eagle Honda dealership price me almost a thousand dollars over the cost for a starter replacement and installation.Torres auto gave me a realistic price - and got it done fast. I always go here these days for my vehicles.

While I normally like this place - it s convenient and walking distance to my home. Took my car to get a conventional oil change - meaning basic nothing fancy. I dropped the car off and the lady was very pleasant (again I have no issue with the professionalism) - she said I ll call you with the price- I said don t bother it s fine. I go in to pick up the car and the basic no frills oil change was $78 bucks. $58 for oil/filter and $20 labor. While I expected to pay a bit more (and I was willing too because I support local businesses) this oil change anywhere else would have been $40-55- I have a Tahoe that uses full synthetic oil and it s $72- I take responsibility for allowing them to charge this amount by saying not to bother to call and get my approval for the oil change. I learned a valuable lesson - actually two- being a long time loyal customer isn t rewarded and two I see why auto repair shops get a bad wrap, if given an opportunity to screw the consumer- they ll take it.

Do not take your car here! Dishonest car mechanic! They told me the price was 80 dollars to fix my censor and sprung 300 dollar invoice with charges they never said were included. Had they been upfront and honest about the cost I would of never agreed. But they decided to be typical car mechanic crooks and take advantage of everyday people. Shameful!

Took my truck 400 for one hour of work . I time it. When u think the customer is no watching. Paid and got the key to the truck two st down same problem. Price change both times there. I work hard for what they charge. When we talk I know I was get rob. 400 to change a sensor that was reach able and spray cleaner in my throttle body. I'm glad I had the money to get it out of there . As is" Is what I was told. Small service yes take it here any thing from changing a filter and above fo somewhere else. 400 I can get to someone else. I ask to change brakes they said 75 per axle on a 14 Malibu. Plus parts. 150 plus 150 for great brakes. Total 300 in parts and labor of there no other cost. Oak cliff use to be for the people now it for the rich. I like many live check to check. Please do better for the community we are the one the make it don't break it.

Called ahead for an alignment. They had me in and out in 45 minutes. Alignment was $60. All and all had a good first experience here.

Ask all questions before you take your car to do work. I was quoted $300 for labor and parts and was late to work to take car at agreed upon time. Received a call 5 hours later to tell me that the part is dealer only. Sure would have helped if they would have done their research before quoting and asking me to bring in first thing in the morning.

The first time I called Torres Auto Service, I had a good impression. One of the mechanics there realized that I was a student and was needing help with fixing my car. He did not take advantage of me, but instead gave me advice on how I could replace parts of my A/C by myself. He was patient and encouraging. Once I did what he recommended, I brought in my car to get the A/C flushed and recharged.Unfortunately, I was not clearly told about the installation of one of the A/C parts, so the A/C system developed an issue after their doing work on it. Nonetheless, Torres listened to my concern, and instead of being rude business people, chose to help me solve the problem. It was an effort of kindness. Thank you Torres. I appreciate humane businesses like you. Being considerate is what separates you from everyone else.

Took my car here for inspection and maintenance. They did a good job but ordered the wrong parts and it took way longer than they initially told me. No big deal, they were good at keeping me posted. Was just surprised since I have a Honda Civic so it's nothing special. They also had to order the oil for an oil change so it isn't a quick on and out. Drop it off and go to Norma's.

They were very down to earth and fair. Got something fixed there for $210, while the first place I checked was $500 plus tax. Would go back regularly if I wasn't moving out of Dallas.

Just left the shop and I drive up and see the lady with curly hair helping a customer so I didn t bother her and I was on the phone so she never acknowledged me then another person comes along and she skips me and started to help him so because I was on my phone I don t get greeted and instead of fixing the problem when I asked her if she didn t see me she says she did see me but you were on the phone so that s why I was ignored basically she could of just apologized and said I ll take care of you next but she just didn t like me as soon as I pulled up and i had a friend recommend me to them so disappointing.

This place is a complete mark up joke! They quote you a price and than bait and switch it when it s not to their liking!They are just looking to up sell youBeware of the big guy Mr Torres ! He all sure we can do that and then tells you to get lost !Stay away ! Unless you want to pay more !

Torres Auto Mechanic is AMAZING! I get all of my car needs taken care of here. They have been able to work me in every single time I've had a problem. I love the fact that they are a locally owned business AND they don't try to take advantage of girls like me who might be assumed to know nothing about cars. :)The VW dealer quoted me almost $2000 to replace my timing belt. Torres did it for a smidge over $400.LOVE THEM!

I ve been a loyal customer to this place for over 10 years and today while I went to get inspection done on my truck the girl that does inspections charged me an extra $20 for having tinted windows !!! I ve never been charged that before ever !! This is crazy! Never coming here again!
