Great spot, fair pricing, and friendly staff. I went on a weekend and had to wait for quite a while but was able to get tires rotated and an oil change. Overall a good experience but will try to hit less peak hours in the future.

Had a great experience here! Alton serviced my vehicle and did an amazing job. He s super professional and friendly. Alton s the definition of a hard worker and he s very knowledgeable.

I m not sure what s up with all the negative reviews. I ve been coming here every year (last 5 years) for both of our car inspections. The staff have always been super friendly and helpful. I even ask for some extra help like tire pressure checks / refills every now and then. They ve always handled all of our issues with care.The staff doesn t ever try upselling me anything and they are always prompt and timely. I ve showed up every time without an appointment and they ve never turned me away nor have I had to wait very long.I also like that the location is convenient with parking. You can pull around the back or side of the shop and park until you speak with the team.Maurino was the tech I worked with on my most recent visit and he was awesome. Highly recommend this shop and thank you Maurino for taking such great care of us

CHARLES is on point!!! I nearly trashed my beloved 4 wheels by neglect. He swooped in and fixed her right up. Knowing I was biting my nails worried, he quickly informed me to rest easy, I was going to be OK. He did NOT hard sell nor try to rope me into services I didn't need. I was a perfect candidate for the slick Ricks of mechanics to pounce and upsell. He took care of me and my ride! Did I mention I pulled in at 4:50 rush hour, peak busy time for them, yall-seriously- was in and out in less than 10 minutes This was also my very first time there, they killed their competition and made a loyal customer out of me Today!!

Came during business hours. Doors closed and locked. A man inside made a slicing of the neck motion and mouthed they were closed. I called and he answered the phone. He was extremely rude when he said they were closed and I explained his hours online said they were open. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Failed an inspection due to a 2mm crack in a wiper blade. Required that I pay for a new set of wipers to pass. Been going here for over 15 years. Never again

This location repeatedly provides honest and friendly service. I would recommend to bring an updated proof of insurance or have it ready on your phone if you are bringing your car for the state inspection. I have taken my vehicles to this garage for over 10 years and will continue to have them service my vehicles in the future.

For many years they were Kwik Kar, but now are The Original Lube and Tune. If you don't like some little something, just tell the competent and calm manager, Tony Robertson, and he'll fix it right away. They offer MANY maintenance services, annual inspections, plus it's well located and easy to pull in. In and out is pretty fast. Nice waiting room area where you can see much of the work being done. Definitely try them out. You'll be glad you did.

Love them - they were great with my teenager in assisting with her first solo venture into getting an oil change and car inspection - she said they were very nice, explained everything to her and made her feel very comfortable. I couldn't be happier with them

I really like this Kwik Kar. I don't drive that many miles so I only get my oil changed about once every 11 months and while I'm at it have my inspection done. I needed an ait filter and it was time to flush my brake fluid. The guys that work here are very professional. I couldn't believe how fast they were with the inspection and taking care of my car. If you're looking for a quick honest professional oil change and service you can't go wrong with this Kwik Kar location.

I've been going to Kwik Kar Mockingbird for at least 10 years. I have never had a bad experience there. The staff is always friendly and the mechanics talk to me and tell me what needs to be done and what can wait. I don't ever feel pressured to add more repairs than I need or can afford. I am never talked down to as a woman. And the service is always as quick as it can be, depending on how many customers were there before me. I got an engine flush and new oil, filter, and other fluid checks in about 15 minutes at lunch time on a Tuesday. I don't know if they're the cheapest in town, but they do quality work. Probably the most honest car repair shop I've ever used and I've been driving for 30 years. I think they are a franchise and the owner and manager obviously do a great job hiring quality employees who care about their work. Can't say enough good things about them.Update 7/2022: I got my car inspected here today and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. My previous review remains as is!

Brought my car in for a tune up prior to a road trip. Mike was fantastic - thorough, nice, and honest. Prices were reasonable.Update: downgrading my review because brakes needed to be replaced a week after I brought car in for a tune up, during which I was informed the brakes were checked and they were "fine".

No TV options except FauxNews (I tried to change the channel). Too bad for the workers because they do good work. I will never support a business that forces right-wing propaganda on its patrons. Go elsewhere

Such great, professional folks. I brought in a part I'd previously purchased from a supplier and they put it on for me without a charge (although that accepted a very well-deserved tip).

I was going around north Dallas nobody had the type of oil my bmw needs , MR . ROJO took care of me since he picked up the phone I got there and he literally showed me the type of oil my car needs and also changed the oil filter (that s something they never do at the other places I go). I will definitely be driving 25min for my oil change with MR. RED ! Great customer service and really thankful for employees like him

They were quick in my service but are super pushy and absolutely do not care about their customers. They overprice their services and take advantage of anyone they can. Engine flush on a newer model Toyota with barely 30,000 miles? They acted as if the car could not be driven without extra, unnecessary services.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Been going to this place for years to do my car's yearly inspection. Always found them to be honest. Today before my inspection I was told I needed all new window wipers, which I knew. Told them OK, do it, and I passed inspection. It is nice to be told up front about a potential problem that would prevent you from passing. Definitely recommend and I will definitely go back!

Went In For an oil change today. Asked the gentleman if he could vacuum my passenger seat for me because it was super messy. He said he would and told me I actually had another 2000 miles before I needed a change. Didn t charge me a dime for anything. Great service, awesome peopleService: Oil changeService: Oil change

I had tow truck drop off car, I called to get a quote because they still hadn't contacted me. The mechanic answered the phone instead of the gentleman who we first spoke to and the mechanic was rude. Had zero phone etiquette. Spoke to my wife the way someone would talk in the street. We were so disgusted by this we didn't even bother having them work on our car. Had a tow truck go right back and pick it up. The original man was polite but when he said the other person would be the one working on the car, well we were not having any part of that. Expected some sort of professionalism. Should keep that mechanic off the phone and stick to what he knows. Fixing cars. Very disappointed.

I have been to the Kwik Kar Mockingbird location 2 times now. The first time I had them fill a window chip on my windshield which turned out great. The second time I had my oil and filter changed and tires rotated on my 2013 Jeep. Both times the employees were extremely nice and helpful. The facility was very clean and you can tell they have recently done some updates on the store, including the restrooms. I will definitely be going back!

Oil change today by the rudest technician asked me to turn my car off I thought I had . Turns out I had not. He smugly tells me to start my car it won t start. He says that s because you didn t turn it off the first time. Gives my car a jump. I m now stuck at a car wash because my battery is dead.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I appreciate their honesty. I went today to check an oil light on my dashboard and to see if there was a leak. The nice man checked my car and when I asked them what was wrong he explained that it was a sensor. Now I've had this before a long long long time ago with another car and I asked for the price. He said he had fixed the issue and to not worry about it because it was not a major thing. He then said that they arent those types of guys. Which I appreciate because the other time I had this problem with another company those guys charged me a lot for something else that wasnt even the problem. I will definitely come back to this location. I left there highly impressed.

Went in today because I had a check oil light on my BMW, so my 1st thought was big money on a Sunday.So, I pulled in, and a gentleman named Mike came up and greeted me. He helped me run the BMW diagnostics and looked at my oil level under the hood.I was thinking, it seemed too soon for an oil change but wanted to be careful.Mike was awesome, he said , no worries, my model just burns a lot of oil and I did not need an oil change for $100. he simply topped it off for me.Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest-- I will always go there now and make sure he is there-- 10/10 customer service experience.
