My first time at take 5 was a great experience. I did not have to wait long at all. Q was very courteous he offered me a bottle of water as I waited in line. He s very knowledgeable of his position and explained everything in detail to me. All the staff were friendly and worked diligently to make sure all customers didn t have to wait long. I will be visiting take 5 in the future.

I recently had an excellent experience at Take 5 Oil Change. At the Lemmon Ave location Patrick provided exceptional service - he was friendly, honest, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. He even called ahead to the Mockingbird location to ensure they were prepared to address our specific problem, which was incredibly helpful. Additionally, they always offer cold water, which is a nice touch. The service was quick and efficient, and I've been a loyal customer for years. Highly recommend!

As soon as I pulled up one of the guy's came out and asked what could he do for me? I said just an oil change and he said as soon as the car that was in the bay leaves you'll be next. Not 2 minutes later they started guiding me into the bay.They asked what was my milage and what service i wanted and then within what seemed to be maybe 5 minutes or so they were guiding me out. They were all so friendly and quick which allowed me to run other errands and still have time to relax on my Saturday off work.

These guys were awesome!! It s so hard to find a place where it doesn t feel like you re getting ripped off into buying 1836291 things that you probably don t need! These guys have great suggestions and were so helpful. This is my new place for oil chance and general car care!

Uhm the upside: quick service - friendly and courteous employees. The downside: didn t know there was a shop fee ($5) until I got my bill also didn t know that every car that goes in there always needs an extra quart (addtl. $10 on top of the $108.00). That s a pet peeve of mine just tell me it s $123+ tax upfront instead of slowly adding it to my bill. I suppose I m a little sour towards this company because I took my car in for a regular oil change one month. A month later forgetting I had an oil change the month before- I took my car in again.The employee didn t say a word and changed 1 month old oil again.

First time to use Take 5! They were fantastic and very professional. I was done in less than 15 minutes. No high pressure sales and very honest. I will be back and have already told all my friends and co workers to go there for their oil change.

The Take 5 guys at this location were kind, quick, and thorough. I got there pretty close to closing time, and there were already a few cars being serviced at the time. It was a short 10-15 min wait, but I was just happy they got me in! They changed my oil, refilled some of the other vital fluids, checked my tires, and even gave my windshield a nice clean! They were clear & communicative about the services, and were more than happy to explain anything I had question about. It really was a wonderful way to close out my day. I m definitely coming back to this location next time!Services: Tires, Oil change

Went in for a state inspection and was done in less than ten minutes. Friendly staff. Walked away impressed with the overall experience. All the employees seem friendly and work well together. I ll definitely be back for other services when needed.

Service was fine but they will force you to get the expensive premium option even if you don t need it. I requested economy and they refused. I ve always visited the Lemmon location and have never run into this issue.

Ok. Not as busy as the others. They completely ignored the type of oil change I asked for, given my mileage. At least they didn t try to bilk me for unnecessary work. I was out pretty quickly, but if you want actual work done correctly go somewhere else.

These guys took me in at the very last minute and did my oil change. We're very accompanying. Fast, friendly, and very affordable. Highly recommend. Will go there from this point forward. All around, good experience and I will be back.

Take 5 is fast and efficient. When you know you need an oil change, they do a great job and get it done fast. This place is my new go-to for oil changes when I'm in Dallas.

When in for an oil change and state inspection. The gentleman man was honest and said I didn t need and oil change and could go another 5k miles before I need it. The inspection was super quick and I was out and on my way in no time.

This was my first time coming here. Staff was friendly and my oil was changed in a timely manner while I was on lunch break from work. All my fluids were topped off and my tires were aired up. I did my state inspection while there. Everything went smooth. I will use their services again.

Service was great as usual. Not to happy I had to spend 20 more dollars because your site did not have economy oil. I paid for what was there the next level up. Thank you either way

So I waited today 30 minutes in line when it come to my turn they said ph we don't have economy oli change so people pay extra for expensive one. No notification outside . Simply sneaky business and waste people time.....stay away from them, they want people to 100 bucks for economy oil change instead. You only do oil change how do you run out of oil....what a joke

I got the oil change from here for $43 (with my own oil).I usually get the oil change for $25 from lemmon avenue.However, their service and attitudes is quite amazing.Just spend only 8 minutes there to do the oil change, but the mechanic guy forget to put the nut back to my car, so I heard the scathing sound while I drove out. Just come back, and he admit that it's his false. Eventually, he put the bolt back into the same place.

This location was definitely better than the other one on Lemmon, it was a smooth process and the workers were extra nice and kind. Take 5 is not cheap though but that s not their fault.

I usually come here for oil changes only but I needed an inspection done before a road trip. My usual place I go to for an inspection is near my old apt ,which is a little further away and take 5 is down the street. Win, win. Right? I get there, and tell the guy what I need done he looks at the front of my car and says, "Oh we cant do your inspection cause of the new rule that says all cars must have a front license plate." He then proceeds to show me something in the notes on his iPhone ,that somehow proves this in his mind. My car doesn't have a place for a front license plate and would need a bracket to be drilled into my car. I do not really want to do it but I am in a hurry, I then asked him, "Can they do it or does he know where I can get it done at? "As I needed my inspection done quickly. He looked kind of confused at the question, offered no kind of advice and walked away. Next day, I went to my usual place and low and behold, they did my inspection and said not a word about a license plate and now my car is good for another year. Guess I will be sticking to the Mom and Pop places from now on for inspections and oil changes as well. My advice, if you can avoid it PASS on Take 5.

I always go here to get my oil change, and never had a problem until my recent oil change. Oil was leaking from the bottom of my car and it wasn t leaking before I went there, now it s in the shop. And it looks like they re not living up to their end of the bargain, because they won t give me a rental. But this is the world we re living in, when they mess something up but blame you.

While the service was good, it was slow, VERY and I was also overcharged. I was told by the gentleman that he could sell me an air filter for 1799. After I returned home and looked at my receipt I see he charged me 3299. My fault is I should ve looked before I left. Won t be back.

Everything was good. Only one thing... try to tell the staff to not be so loud when trying to say "Oh, it's 7am need to get an oil change" that's the only time some of us can do that. If he doesn't like to work early maybe he should get a night job.

I went into the location on Inwood and cedar springs in Dallas because my check oil light came on and it had only been 6 weeks and 2000 miles since my oil change. I asked them if they could please check under the car when adding the oil to make sure everything was on right and there was no problem. The guy tried to mansplain to me that my type of car burns a lot of oil. I told him this had never happened in the 3 years I have had my car and that 95% of the oil should not be used so quickly. He said, if it comes on after we put oil then just come back again. You re still good for a top off. Was it really too much trouble to look and make sure there was not an issue???

Worst experience, I waited an hour in line before they even got to me. These guys didn t even come to talk to me they just ignored me and talked to every car around me. I couldn t leave or I would have. When I finally pulled in and they serviced the car behind me. They only started on my car once I said something to them about how long I had been waiting. 100% recommend you go somewhere else.Update: they started working on my car and didn t even ask me what oil change I wanted. He just brought over the card reader and asked me to pay!!!!

I went to the take five at Cedar Springs and Inwood to get an inspection on my car. They were fabulous. I got directions from one of the gentleman who helped me. They were a really nice guy. They offered me water. They were very helpful people very friendly, and very efficient.

Revised review after recent visit. Very professional. The tech let me use a coupon for my oil change. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I was very very impressed. I just wish their prices weren t so expensive.
