They did not properly secure my engine splash guard under the engine. I specifically asked the tech if everything was put back and screwed back on. He said yes. While driving I started hearing a sound like something was dragging or caught under my car. I get home to look and my splash guard is just dragging on the ground half on, half off. I can t screw it back on because the plastic is worn away entirely on one side where the screws holes are. I ll be calling Take 5 to see if they ll remedy this issue, but will not have them change my oil again.02.07.2024 Update: Not even customer service can even get in contact with this Take 5 s manager. Two voicemails have been left and no one has followed up. I went in person to rectify the issue. Their solution? Zip tie the partly ground down splash shield back to the bottom of my vehicle. This is not a solution, it is a temporary fix.02.08.2024 Update: Customer Service will not answer the phone. I called the number provided below 3 times and it keeps going to voicemail saying there are currently no agents available. I guess I ll try email at this point. I called a parts place to get an estimate to replace and install and it s going to be over $500. I am truly disappointed in this company. I think it s wild that no one will answer any of the phones.

Best experience I have ever had getting an oil change, the manager was knowledgeable, polite and changed my oil in no time. I will definitely be back! Great staff as well.

As always it was a great experience. Everybody was polite and interactive while still getting the job done in record time. I tell everyone about my take 5 on plano rd. Now my roommate and several of my good friends use take 5. It's wonderful to stop in whenever I want and they check all my fluids, top them off and check and fill my tire pressure AT NO CHARGE. Tommie is awesome! Above and beyond! She is the bomb! Came in with a bent plastic piece under the car dragging on the road from the rain. She took it out for us! Awesome! First time using this location, highly recommend!

I pulled in at 730 am to get oil change, to be told I didn t need one. I was offered a coolant exchange and which I agreed to. I was charge $102. The tech either didn t put coolant in my car or did not close the top. He also failed to to reset my car system. I never had problems with my car which is 2022 dodge charger. The next day my car run hot on the freeway. I had tow to get my car home and then tow to get my car to a repair shop. This cause me over $400. I have contacted corporate no one has reach out. I will be taking legal action if a response is not received. This tech neglected to do the service he offered. This has caused me hundreds of dollars and stress. I been going to take 5 for years. I will never use them again. I have been to multiple locations but this one location caused so much stress in my life. I say do not trust them with your car or to double check everything before leaving. This will not be last time they hear from me but this was so crazy.

Pulled up The guy guides me in And then disappears. When the other guy was through doing the oil change he was doing, he came and started mine. He did not top off any of my fluids. He did not wash my windows. He didn t even ask me if I wanted it done other than offering a water I got none of the other services that came with my $97 oil change, I don t recommend this location.

JD was very friendly and professional and no complaints at all about his service. The female working in a different bay was NOT professional and this was not the first time I have had an issue with her. Take 5, I have been a customer for years but the behavior I have witnessed from this particular female employee is very unprofessional and quite frankly makes me want to stop coming here. I do not know her name unfortunately but I always remember her face.

When I arrived, there were only two cars ahead of me and I had to wait an hour before they pulled me into the bay, then they walked away and didn't say anything to me. Waited in the bay for 30 minutes before anyone said a word to me. This is not an exaggeration, I referenced a text I sent out when I arrived to be able to measure the time. When they finally got to me, no mention at all of the wait. In fact, the employee that spoke to me acted like I was holding them up because I didn't have my hood popped. Lol. On the other hand, they were very courteous to ask me if I was interested in all these other services they provide.... They should change the name from "Take 5" to "Take PTO".

Great customer service. I let them know that what happened to me at the forest and Plano rd location. The manager there really took care of me , let me know that what they did was wrong and that I am in the system and I did use that location many times . so I know for a fact that they were lying because I know where I go to change my oil. Not easy to get a hold of a manager to speak to .

Wonder place to go and get your oil changed. This is the only place in DFW area that will top your fluids off. Every other Take 5 site refuses to top off your fluids, but they will certainly do it here and are so kind and nice to you about it too. I will be back to this site.

It just seemed nobody wanted to be there, except for the person with the lip piercings. Unfortunately they went on break when I pulled into the stall. Lots of talk about not wanting to be there and moving real slow. When finished with oil change and asked to start the vehicle, they never asked me to turn it off and never checked oil level.

My experience at this Take 5 location was exceptionally good. The service technician who worked on my car was Elvin Luna. I came in this morning for a state inspection and oil change on my way to work. Mr. Luna was efficient and kind, very professional, and completed the work very quickly, communicating along the way. He even went out of his way to adjust the garage door to block the morning sun which was streaming in, directly in my line of vision! I will definitely be consistently using this location moving forward.

This was not a first visit for my family. Any time we have used take 5 we are pressured in to getting more than a oil change. We are told the air filter needs to be replaced, even if it does not. I have decided to never use take 5 again. It save no more time and definitely not money, than the local trustworthy mechanic we have used for years. My son took my daughter's car there yesterday, and the total was more than double what she expected and had budgeted for. The experience left her in tears.

When I arrived, there was one car in front of me, I think, getting an oil change. There were two workers. 20 minutes passed before they asked me the service I needed, and told me to pop my hood because they were almost ready to see me. It was another 20 minutes before I pulled in. 10 minutes before they started changing the oil. 20 minutes to change the oil. The oil change (synthetic on a small car) was $100. They said that the fully synthetic oil would last 3,000 miles or three months.The workers were friendly but I was surprised that in a business whose whole thing is 10 minute oil change it took so long. I suspect that at least one of the employees was relatively new and is still learning the job.

It took more them 45 minutes to get a inspection done. How I have a diesel truck that doesn't need a emission test. Yet it still took 45 minutes.

Service was just OK.Never said Welcome or Thanks for visiting. I guess they don t have to.Gave me a report that said that they checked tire pressure, wipers, cleaned the windshield but didn t do any of those.Now I am not sure they did all they say they did.Service: Oil change

Service here sucks, they advertise a 10 minute oil change but there s only 2 people in front of me and I ve been here for 40 minutes. Not to mention it seems that all workers have been inside for at-least 20 of those minutes.Update:I went to Kwik Kar up the rode and it took less than 20 minutes. Passed by take 5 again and the same cars were still in line.

I was not expecting the great service. I normally go to a dealership for my oil changes. Lately the wait time has been hours and no one is answering the phone so I had to pick someone quick. First I called the number to check to see if it really was as quick as they said it was. The lady offered me a $15 coupon that she texted me and then when I arrived the technician was so nice and friendly. He offered me a water and his team was quick and efficient. First time getting oil change in 7minutes and 15 seconds. They were nice, informative and fast. They guide you in, you stay in car, they do the oil change, give you maintenance information, check fluids, clean windshield and guide you out. Easy and fast.

This was 1000 miles into my oil change I had taken it to my mechanic to check it out, found out my filter was put on wrong. Then I went back there again for another oil change and same thing filer was put on incorrectly and caused me too ride almost 5,000 with no oil but I was told that the particular oil I m using will cover me up too 9,000 miles.
