I took my truck to Take 5 at 17638 Preston Rd. Dallas, TX on to get my oil changed. The guys there suggested to replace my oil filter, engine filter, and to pump out and replace my radiator fluid using their pressurized machine because it was dirty. So as I was waiting for my radiator to get pumped out and replaced with better coolant, the guy working on the car caused the coolant to shoot all over my engine. Then after that he told me sorry, but I have to call my Assistant Manager. After waiting for him for 45 minutes he went to clean out radiator, what the previous employee did and pumped out the coolant and replaced it with new coolant. In the process of putting back the coolant in my radiator the Assistant Manager said that there is a hole in on of my tubes that connects to the radiator. I asked the Assistant Manager, so what are you going to do about it because I got my car from a dealership less than a year ago and no one has worked on it accept you guys. He said you have to go get the tubes replaced. Not once did he offer to fix the problem they caused. I am now in the process of contacting corporate.Service: Oil change

I had a very pleasant visit at this Take 5 Oil Change location. Every step of the process was explained to me in detail. I left having learned much more than I expected about my vehicle. I highly recommend this location. The price, time, attention, and service were outstanding.

I have been to this take 5 the last few times to get my oil changed and each time I have a great experience. Manny has taken care of my car every time I came and he s great! They are fast, efficient, and they make the process so easy! Plus they give you a free water :)

This was my first time coming to this location and I really enjoyed my interaction with Jose! At other car maintenance places when I had questions they would never fully answer them, or give me a vague answer and simply didn't take me seriously.Here he answered all my questions, walked me through everything he was working on and was just so helpful and very kind! I 100% recommend this location if you need an oil change!

Great service, friendly staff and they get you in and out quickly. They even helped me download my coupon to save a few dollars. The technician took initiative to help me and I appreciated it. This is the only place I use for oil changes now. Great job!

I visited Take 5 Oil Change on December 22, 2023. I have been a regular customer since 2017. I usually do the oil change and the state inspection. It is very convenient for me because I have received the fast & good quality of service. Jose, Manager & Taiyvin, Technician are very friendly & professional. They checked the air filter, cabin filter, & tire pressures. They did an excellent job & I really appreciate it. I recommend this location of Take 5 Oil Change if someone looks for changing the engine oil.

Manny and Taiyvin at this shop were extremely professional and helpful. I ve been using Take5 and various other shops over the years, and these guys literally above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and aware of anytime I needed to know about that was going on with my vehicle!! I highly recommend them!!

The young men who changed my oil were very quick but efficient. They did a great job and were so kind. I used to use this location when I lived nearby. I have since moved but stopped here because I was in the area and needed an oil change. Definitely recommend. My favorite Take 5 location for sure!

I have always loved Take 5, and I ve been to my now 2nd location because it was closer. I am pleased to say that it was no different than the other one I always go to. The people who work there are happy, they are polite, and helpful. They answered all my questions with patience and with an attitude of wanting to help. Before coming to Take 5, I truly believed that customer service didn t exist anymore - and Take 5 has shown me, it very much does. Thank you to each of the gentleman working there for making the task of getting an oil change, an easy and pleasant one. I will most definitely be back and recommend to anyone who asks me for an oil change rec!

I went to the Take 5 on Preston Rd. North Dallas.. The service was great. The workers are friendly, efficient and honest. I got an oil change..all fluids were checked and I was out in no time. I recommend this location highly.

Have been here a few times - on last visit in January 23 I received totally amateur service, they left oil plug insufficiently tight such that I lost a Quart of oil in 24 hours. I took it back and received a strong apology from the young man who fixed me up. Kudos to him but the manager never returned my call.

Super fast service and very convenient . I have been getting our car s state inspections done here for years and it s always so smooth and easy. The staff has always been very welcoming and friendly .

This place is awesome! Not only are they super friendly, but the assistant manager totally took care of me yesterday and made sure there was no problem with my oil level because it seemed like I was losing oil, and he checked in the engine and under the car and added some extra oil that I needed... He alleviated all my fears! Thanks take five!! Beep beep! Sue

Michael and Jose are the best! Came here a little closer to closing and they did my inspection and oil change. My family and I had been offered water while we waited which was a plus for my son. I ll be back

The last few times I've come here, there's been an issue. This last time, I got a simple oil change and then my car wouldn't start which has not been an issue at all. I didn't see the technician check to make sure he didn't leave something unplugged or anything. He just gave me a boost and said it must have been my battery. I left there and got my battery, starter, and alternator checked and it was not my battery. I still don't know what they did but it was a very frustrating experience.Updating to add:I got it checked and they knocked something loose when changing my oil smh

The best service I ve had in a long time. The young men working on my car, Jameson P. and two other men, were so efficient and knowledgeable about my car and as a first time visitor of this branch, I was pleased at the services I received (oil change, fluids top off, coolant refreshed < had no idea I needed this done, wiper blades replaced, filter changed, car inspection)!! All of this took 45 minutes or less, the price was affordable and I showed up on a Saturday and did not have to wait long before my service began!!! I ll be back for sure and I d also recommend them to everyone I know in Texas including you reading this review!!! Give them a try!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Came in for a state inspection. Told the guy in charge, he directed me to a stall. The second guy came over and I told him a state inspection. He started checking the air filter and under the hood and I told him again a state inspection. He then closed the hood and walked around the car. Not sure what he was doing. The guy in charge said the cost was $7. Told him that couldn t be right, needed a state inspection. Then the guy that worked on the car said I asked for a safety inspection. I told him emphatically I asked for a state inspection 3 times. He berated me and said I asked for a safety inspection. We started over, he performed the emissions test, charged me the $25.50, said I passed, but never checked the lights, turn signals, brake lights etc. So I left, then realized I did just get my insurance paperwork back, so returned within 10 minutes to request it. He handed it to me in disgust and without so much as an apology.I stopped going here a few years ago because of poor customer service, and only returned as the location on Alexis did not have an inspector.I will never be back. This location is horribly staffed.

Very friendly, helpful, timely and well organized business. I use them for a state inspection all the time and used for oil change before switching to EVs. Jose, Michael and Manny did a good good job they told me what I need done to my vehicle and that I need to keep the oil clean by bring it back to them I recommend anyone to come to them they know what there doing and make sure everything you need they the best come see them I promise yall won't regret it great place thank you Mr Jose, Mr Manny Mr Michael

I have always been extremely pleased with the friendly and thorough service provided by the staff at this location. They have never tried to upsell unnecessary products or services and I ve never had an issue. I have referred friends here and they were satisfied as well. Keep up the great work!

I was needing an oil change so that I could jump on the highway for the holiday. As last minute of a decision as it was to stop on my way to work in 40 minutes, they got the job done. Very efficient, knowledgeable, and the young lady even gave me a theme song and sang to me while I waited.
