Giving them 5 stars, I have used them a few times and they are always, if not on time earlier than the scheduled appointment. I have been dealing with Myson on the service side with my needs and he has always been quick to respond to my emails and quick to call back if he misses a call from me. Myson also goes over and beyond to get someone out to my location the quickest possible and is also quick in getting me what I need. I highly recommend this company for anyone needing service at your location as they will take care of you the best way possible.-Kinloch Arlington, Tx

Do not come here, you been warned.Took my truck here they don t communicate with you and they will start working on your truck without letting you know there will be a charge.After picking up my truck and paying almost 6K broke down 100 feet away from there shop. They picked it up and said that there was no transmission fluid to the actual transmission when they put the transmission back together. Manager oscar blaming me? I don t know why, but this was negligence of Stewart & Stevensons.

This was the worst experience I ever had dealing with a truck repair shop! Took my truck in for repair got it back 17 days later in a worst shape then it went in. They reinstalled the turbo wrong, didn t plug the injectors back up properly! 2 days after picking up my truck I had to go to Freightliner in Texarkana because of issues I was experiencing! Call Stewart n Stevenson it was like pulling teeth to get them to even send an invoice of what all they had done! Had to pay Frieghtliner to fix everything they should ve done correctly! Never again! Any owner opts Stay far far away from this shop!!!! Y all will regret it if you don t!!!

My turbo went out about a month ago. Had my truck towed to them. The service was great, staff went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Parts another story. Took awhile to get, but not the fault of the shop. With that being said, I was back up and running. Well, the way my luck goes, it was a bad turbo. This time I was 2hrs from their shop, had it towed back to them. They got right on it and I was up and running in a couple days. Again, the staff was amazing, the woman I checked in with was a sweetheart! I highly recommend this place. Thank you for taking care of me and keeping me updated on my truck!

Wow, after an absolutely horrible 5 day experience at a Ft Worth Detroit Certified dealer we luckily pulled into this facility. Was there at 7am Thursday, they had me diagnosed by 10am that day and were finished by the next Wednesday. Detroit series 60 in a 2004 45 Prevost - turbo, Exhaust manifold, 3 bad injectors, an engine air compressor, and Pinion seal.Jerome and Shaun run a great team, the entire staff was extra focused on getting me fixed as soon as they could while making sure I knew what was going on every step of the way.My opinion is that the poor reviews may possibly be based upon unreasonable expectations. You get what you pay for. I found this shops rates within todays market. Getting the peace of mind with a quality job with the Stewart Stevenson National guaranty is as good as it gets.

Every time I go there I give great service Jerome the service writer and Carl the shop supervisor or great guys and do what they can to help you out not only that they get your truck fixed and you don't have to return for repairs

Unfair business practices. My friend warned me about these crooks but I learned the hard way. $9900 estimate $13000 bill for about $5000 in work per other expert mechanics. They screen incoming calls, lie about status etc. Had to pay the bill to get truck then took to another to repair they damage they caused.

Dishonest shop. Went in for a water pump replacement. Got a quote over phone for 550 for replacement and that went up to almost 1000 dollars. Also my brake clutch was not working so I told them to check my clutch, and they told me my clutch was COMPLETELY worn out and could not be adjusted and that I needed a new one. They wanted 3000 dollars to change the clutch lol!Just got out of a honest shop they were able to install a new 2 piece clutch brake and adjust my supposedly worn out clutch. O/O beware of this shop they will try to rip you off.

My truck had an emission problem May 19th 2020. I went to the Dallas shop of Stewart and Stevens where I spent 9 hours they did a forst regen.cleared the codes and cleaned the def system. At that point they handed me a bill for over $500 and told me if they found something wrong it would have been covered by warranty. I paid the bill went back to my dealership who said it should have been covered under warranty anyway.. The Detroit Diesel area representative paid them and told them to reimburse me on my credit card. It is now October 6th I still have not been reimbursed and I have had several conversations to the point now they won't even return my call or messages

Not good every truck we take in to keep from having to warranty something they say the drive lines out of balance been week and a half so far still not done they don t answer there phones voice mail doesnt work no operator available and good bye is what you get they sent drive line out to get balanced and now say drive line shop doesnt answer wonder who they get that from they diagnosed the repair said 1100 then call back say 5700 lol wish i could run my business like that not care allison really needs to rethink how there company runs

I have used S&S services since 1999,the Denver,Co being the best,Dallas a close second,San Antonio being unworthy to rate even 1 star,that have been said,these guys know what makes a Detroit tick,from diagnostic to repair,they are good,I ve never had to go back bc they didn t do it right the 1st time,they don t just throw parts at a problem,they replace a part bc you needed it.I wish I had this shop in San Antonio,the one in SA I won t even go tol,biiig difference. Prices are ok.

the worst experience ever ,i was charged almost $1000 just to check the transmission and when i asked him why so much he said they are the only one certified to work on Allison transmission .i guess they can charge whatever they want and no questions askedi will never go back ,

Worked on our RV and didn t do anything to protect floors. When workers are coming in from shop which is filthy they should have put something down to walk on. I may never get the floors clean!!!

This place gets it done. It s a bit pricey but if you want quality sometimes you have to over look the price. I would highly recommended this place

Stay away from this shop-they are crooks. Sent a truck in for repair- they claimed to have fixed truck. I fixed it myself.
