Phenomenal experience. Quick and simple check of my engine when I was having some problems and when nothing came up they didn t charge me a dime. Bill was extremely friendly and helpful and Helped me fully understand what was going on with my car. 10 out of 10 recommend as this was a simple, friendly, and stress reliving.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

After waiting 50 mins at Take 5 across 75 and still not getting in, I came to SpeeDee and was in and out in less than 10 minutes for a state inspection. Wonderful customer service by both of the employees I interacted with. Will definitely be coming back for my oil changes.

I drove in panic to the station with my car having terrible grinding sound and the oil light on. Turned out that my oil filter was completely gone! The service at SpeeDee took time to talk to BrakesPlus, who had changed my oil (and sloppily installed the filter back on) and verify this horrid condition. Since I was still under BrakesPlus warranty, they came and took my car and towed it to their location. Thankfully, my car is still running. Thanks so much for your help!

I called this University Park location today asking that my July 6th, 2023 car maintenance report and inspection report be emailed to me as I need to submit it as evidence regarding a suspected car tampering which took place approx. 3 weeks following the July 6th, 2023 visit. The Spee Dee man answering the phone claimed that their computer system changed and there is no way from him to send me the report via email or text. He also claimed that there was no way for him to download the report in order to send it to me as an email attachment. He also claimed that there is no way to print the report after I told him I would come in person to pick up the report. He tried to claim you only had an oil change several times, that s all you had which is false information because a 17 point inspection with additional inspections had been performed. I asked him to take screenshots with his phone to text me pictures of the report. He was resistant then finally agreed. He did not text me pictures of my report to the number on file which I confirmed. Then when I called back to follow-up on why the report pictures hadn t been texted to me, I discovered that he had blocked my phone number. The fact that I could have been killed or severely injured following this suspected car tampering ( which has nothing to do with Spee Dee, which I made clear ) and this guy is refusing to send over this report when I told him I needed to submit this to the court as evidence is a total obstruction of justice. I have been discriminated against, harassed and retaliated against by a large group of people existing in this general community location. This will be looked into.

Read good reviews so I decided to go for an oil change. I can't say staff was friendly but they didn't say anything other than where to park and leave the keys in. No greetings. Service was fast but I don't think I got the 17 point Service. Too expensive even with a coupon as I have been to the Mesquite location and I paid about $20 less. They told me of a few items that needed attention but when I asked the price and explanations, I got a quick response and he seemed hurry to get out. There were no other customers. I am not sure I will be back again. Very disappointing!Service: Oil change

They were honest from the start that they charged a little more for their service and I appreciated the honesty. Marcus, Chris, and Bill all introduced themselves and kept me company during my short wait and were eager to answer all my curious questions. They will absolutely get my business again and I highly recommend and trust this business.

Horrible customer service! Called the night before about a state inspection. They said to come in at 9:30. When I get there they said the guy doesn t come till 11. Left and I called later asking if I could come at 5:30 and they couldn t give me an answer. Took a chance and went back after work and they told me the guy leaves at 5. Very rude and strange that they couldn t give me actual answers and only seemed to want to waste my time and apparently make me write a poor review which is not my thing.

The entire staff was professional and courteous. I had an inspection and oil change. During the oil change, they found a few things that needed attention. They didn t put the hard sell but explained what needed to be done and gave me an itemized list with cost for when I can finish the rest of the items. The oil my car uses costs $12 online. I ve paid $35 at my old place the last four years (that s fair). SpeeDee charged me over $100. Don t go here. They are, at best, incredibly dishonest.

I took my car here for an oil change and for a tire rotation. They had issues with a battery operated tool for the tire rotation so it took a bit longer but they did not charge me for the service. I had a $15 coupon and the mechanic gave me another discount that was better.Love the location of this service station, thank you for the amazing job and stellar customer service!Service: Oil change

The service here is amazing and the people are so kind! I went in to get my car ac fixed, and Bill was incredibly diligent with diagnosing and fixing the problem. I ve always had a great experience at this shop for oil changes, wiper blades, air filters, etc. I also use them for annual inspections then walk over to Tom Thumb to pay the tax and get the window sticker. Very convenient. They regularly send out coupons.

This place is terrible and the people who work here are lazy, scammers, and lairs. I came here for the 17-point oil change which includes a front and back floor board vacuum, tire check, and windshield wiper check. When I came back over 2 hours later my car still was not ready and they made me wait another 45 minutes while they worked on other people s cars who showed up after me. By the time they gave me the good to go I noticed they hadn t done over half of the things included in the 17-point oil change so I was still left with broken windshield wipers, a hazard light on for tire maintenance, dirty floorboards, AND was over charged for the oil change. When I realized these things were not fixed they even admitted to not checking them despite giving me a clear inspection with each of those items saying on the receipt that they were inspected . Please do not waste your time going here as they lie about services they have/haven t done, do less than the bare minimum, will make you wait over 3 hours, and overcharging for services not even completed. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!Services: Auto windshield repair, Tires, Wheel alignment, Auto emissions testing, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Stole over $200 from my car. Proceeded to lie about it to my face when confronted.Also charges $150 for an oil change. Owner, please reach out. Would love to discuss theft from your employees.My family has been coming here for 20 years, pretty unbelievable.

SpeeDee Oil Change saved my bacon, and a little scratch, too. I had been to 3 other purveyors of petroleum products and to no avail since none carried 10W30, the specific kind of oil my older car requires. The guy on the phone was courteous and helpful and I'm sorry I didn't get his name. He said they did indeed carry this particular weight and quoted me a price $10 cheaper than his competitors. Once I got there, I had to wait in line and due to the smallish size of their lot, I had to move my car twice so other cars could get out. Overall, my wait time was negligible and the attendant offered me a coupon for $10 off any oil change. Bonus.The attendant was funny and had jokes.My only bad experience there was when I visited their restroom and someone walked in on me. Hey SpeeDee Oil Change, how about fixing the lock on that restroom door.My advice is don't use the restroom there as it was kind of nasty. Great service though.
