I had a blown head gasket on my 2019 Peterbilt 389. These guys were able to get me in and back on the road in a week. They are able to diagnose, replace or repair anything your truck needs. Will definitely be coming here for all my trucks needs.

After having a yard jockey try to tear off my bumper with his open trailer door, I had to find a shop to repair the bent/cracked mounting bracket. Two shops said they couldn t do the repair, and a dealer-body shop said they could not weld or repair the brackets, but would gladly order me new brackets and replace them in a month or two, and that they could remove the bumper, and I could drive without it, until the parts came in!I then found & called Salazar, and asked if they had anyone who could weld/fabricate and they said they did. As soon as I arrived and saw the statues in their yard, I knew I had come to the right place! I was very, very pleased with the entire experience. Pedro (the owner) saw what needed to be done i.e. to straighten & reinforce the brackets, and his son -the artist/welder- did the job quickly and efficiently, to include some very difficult inside welds on the reinforcement plates. They had me back on the road in less than six hours, which is phenomenal, given that the bigger shop appointments were 2-3 weeks out! This tiny, busy shop is the real deal, they have skilled & knowledgeably mechanics that will do a better job, get you back on the road faster, and at a much better price, that all of the fancy dealer shops that just like to push out new parts, and longer labor hours, to pump up the repair bill!! Honest & decent mechanics are hard to find, but this is the place to find them! I will definitely bring my truck back to Salazar for my repair & maintenance service work!

Great, reliable, expert service. Might have to wait for a while but quality service requires plenty of time. Had a coolant issue w/ my 2019 Cascadia that I could not repair but Oscar figured it out and got me rollin again!!

Took my truck in after being told I needed a $2,000 AC replacement from another shop. After taking it there they evac and recharged the system, same day. Ended up being a leak on the high pressure hose near the port. Completely satisfied with their work would recommend to anybody looking for repairs

Everything you read about this place is 100% accurate. Truck driver 5 years and I highly recommend coming to this shop for any of your trucking needs.I promise you will not find anywhere else in Dallas with better or more reasonable prices than Salazar. They are fair and explain exactly what they are charging and why without any "surprise" fees or "minimum" hourly work charges. (Like being charged minimum for 3 hours of work for replacing 1 drive tire I did a Pre Purchase inspection with Pedro. During the inspection he walked me through the entire truck and how the parts worked and when something wasn't right pointed out exactly what was wrong with it. He was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. Which is more than can be said of most places where you get an evil glare from the mechanic if you ask why they are taking 4 hours to replace a single lug nut on a steer tire.I was in the shop for about 1.5 hours and They charged me exactly what they discussed on the phone (1 hour of work). Anywhere else would have rounded that 1.5 hours of work up to 4 hours of work. If you are looking for honest, knowledgeable mechanics, then you found it here at Salazars.I'd say the only downside, and this is a minor gripe, is that it can be a little tight getting in and out of that little alley dirt lot they have. My new truck has a larger wheelbase than I'm used to (244) so trying to back out of the shop and into the lot to pull out took a little maneuvering. Definitely come in as BobTail and drop that trailer somewhere.Thank you for everything and hope to stop by again

Caution avoid this muddy place they will take your money with no good results they stole $800 hundred dollar from me just for a diesel flush and a filter and i didnt told them to do that i went there for a diagnose only im telling you be careful with this rat hole!!!!

These guys charged me $1500 to fix a broken headlight wire. So unprofessional and rude maybe because of my race. At the end I had to take the truck to the dealership who replaced it for $250. Please watch where you take your truck!!!

A big thank you to the whole profesional ,friendly team working at this shop . I had an injector , injector Arnes and fuel pump replaced at this location and I can't be more grateful to found you guys in such a stressful breakdown.To the technician who repair my engine I appreciate your knowledge, professionalism,patience and attention to details to make sure I get out of the shop with the truck running properly.Again thank you to all of you!. I was very impressed by this place. The people were my pleasure to deal with. And they fixed my truck quickly. They were able to diagnose the issue the same day I brought it in and it was done in two days. The other truck dealers that I called, we're about two to three weeks out. I will certainly be bringing my truck here in the future.

My husband and I want to thank Pedro Salazar for his professionalism and we are grateful for his honesty. He made my husband feel very confident in the diagnosis of his radiator. He was able to do the repairs the same day and get my husband back on the road. We feel very fortunate to have found his shop. Highly recommended.10 months ago we had the above service and we were completely satisfied. Just so happens, we were in the Dallas area (thank goodness) when we needed service to our truck. Once again, Mr. Salazar was right on top of the issue. His shop diagnosed the problem, made the repair and we were back on the road. We couldn't be happier to have found his shop. Took my Truck there for repairs and the Guy's were very knowledgeable and professional. They changed the Kingpin's in the front end,fixed a coolant leak and alignment. The parts and labor was a fair price. I highly recommend this shop!

Took my truck there for a radiator leak during the Tx deep freeze they had limited resources but replaced it for a good price and had me back up and running in no time.. Very friendly and professional great service will definitely use them again!

Honest and Fair ! I was a loyal customer until he stopped working on my vehicles to only work on big rigs. I still feel a little upset.............. My loyalty wasn't enough to keep him as my mechanic.

My dad would go there to get his cars fixed. So he recommended me to him, so I went. My car needed my whole break system replaced. Come to find out. I get home n c the same ol' master cylinder. When he was suppose to replace everything. So I go back with my dad n he did what he was suppose to do in the first place. Than later I went another time for my power steering parts to b replaced. Turns out he was over charging the parts by over $100. So I asked what u charge for labor. He told me, so I went to go get the parts myself told him jus charge my labor. He got mad. Come to find out less than a month later my wheel was hard to turn. I go back to tell him the deal. He's like I can't do none. U got damage parts, not my problem. Got n an argument n never went back. AVOID THIS OVER CHARGING SCAMMER

Had my wife's 1999 Tahoe repaired there several years ago.Fast courteous sercive at a fair price...now my 1999 Ford E-150 has the same issue, just called for an estimate, they have my business locked in...they are great!!!
