This is a fantastic small business mechanic shop! Everyone was professional and friendly throughout the process. They also took the time to explain how the parts that were needed worked in my car's overall structure. Highly recommend this fair priced shop!

We drive 19 miles to go to this repair shop. Sal is always a pleasure to talk to, he takes time to answer questions. The lady at the front was very courteous and cordial. The mechanic, I wish I had his name, spent a lot of time talking to my husband, and explaining the several things going wrong with our older vehicle. I really appreciated his knowledge and advice. Great place to do business!

They aren't always the cheapest, but they are very reasonable in their pricing. Even more important is that they are good at what they do. They are fair and won't try and sell you something you don't need. They will even work with you if you are on a tight budget. For instance, if you have a few issues with your car, they will let you know what needs to be done now and what you can put off for a little while. I'm a former mechanic and usually do my own repairs, but I don't always have time. I have zero hesitation having them work on my wife's car or my mother's car. Good honest repair shop.

Absolute 10/5 star service!Person over the phone was kind and helpful. Immediately when I pulled up I was greeted and asked how I could be helped. They gave me a free alternator/battery charge test and let me know I needed a new battery, which he promptly offered to do it on the spot. Not only that, the price was extremely reasonable and fair and he even let me know about the warranty on the battery. These guys are honest, hardworking, skilled and they are genuine.I felt really cared for, and considering this is my first time here it won t be my last. Please do yourself a favor when finding an auto shop and give Safety Brake Service a chance. They will exceed your expectations as they did mine.

The name says it all - and more! As a female, it can be "challenging" to find any trusting car service shop. I was recommended to Safety Brake by my cousin. After getting 4 "quotes" from other shops gave me verbal quotes without looking at my car, or had me leave my car and provided vary vague "solutions"...I swung by Safety Brakes in hopes for better and received all of that and more. Not only was Sal and the team respectful from the get go, they physically showed me what was going on with my breaks and rotors, what to look for, etc. They asked questions to seek to understand, and provided information in a very helpful and supportive way - unlike any other shop that often mansplains or blows smoke up your... Anyways, I was sold right away with the respect and the trust. Sal helped to explain options of repairs and products to best work with what was needed and align with my budget. Their pricing is comparable with other shops, but the customer service, knowledge, respect and information stands out by far among the rest! This it he first time in my life I do not have buyers remorse or feel stressed over car maintenance, and being a single woman on a budget - that says a lot. I feel safer driving my vehicle now, and am grateful for the money well spent to replace my brake pads, rotors, etc. They have a customer for life with me, and I believe you can trust in them the same as I do.Service: Brakes

This place used to be great and then ownership changed and it went to hell fast. Almost $3K to replace a head gasket and it never got properly fixed. On top of that, they broke my windshield and refused to accept responsibility. Your best bet is to avoid them at all costs.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I went here based on a recommendation by a mechanic I know, and I have had several friends I know go here. The owner and mechanics here were super nice. They looked at my car to help me read the engine codes even though they knew they couldn't work on it because it was an import. They gave me an accurate diagnosis and quote prediction for what it would cost, and gave me a recommendation of an import shop to go to afterward. I feel like they went above and beyond. Great service. If I didn't have an import car, I would definitely go back.

My visit today was a result of the recommendation of two friends. I couldn't be happier. I was in need of front brakes and expecting to spend at least twice as much and not see my car until tomorrow.Instead, I dropped it off, grabbed some lunch, and I'm back on the road in just a couple of hours.Ed was warm, kind, and informative. The service was fast and they were done when they said they would be. The price - fair and transparent.I'd recommend this place to my grandmother, which is the best compliment I think I can pay. I'm definitely coming back.

I m real glad to have learned about this shop. They took care of me same-day (I know that won t always be possible) and were extremely reasonable. Both Alex and the mechanic who worked on my car were super-communicative and straightforward, giving me all kinds of clear, useful, actionable information. For the record, this was a power steering pump replacement and inspection on a Honda.

I will say when one problem hits, they all hit. Thanks to Ed the owner and his hospitality we are back up and running. My wife and I where in Texas and was on business. Once in Dallas for a few days my arm and wrist got to bothering me so i went to the hospital, well come to find out i had an infection in my wrist joint and while in the ER they took me straight to surgery. Well i had two surgeries on my wrist and was in the hospital for 16 days. Well one day while i was in the hospital my wife needed to run to a store and get a few thing's. I got a call about 30 minutes after she left letting me know that the brakes were not stopping the SUV. Well my wife tried carefully to get the SUV back to the hospital but that did not work. That was to dangerous and not worth the risks. She left her SUV and came back to the hospital. Well the next day i started searching for auto repair shops and good prices. After not liking anything i was hearing from the shops i contacted, I seen and add for a business and the name of the business was Safety Brakes. Well i contacted them and discussed my situation and what could be done to rectify it. I spoke to a man by the name of ED. Well i soon figured out that i was talking to a great auto repair shop. Well in no time we talked about the problem our SUV was having and how to take care of it. Ed went right then to retrieve our SUV and went to work on it immediately and was completely repaired the next day. Once it was repaired he came back to hospital and picked up my wife and took her back to the shop and not only did he explain to her in detail what the problem was he also explained in detail what he did to fix it. Ed also went on to let us know what else was needed to be done and what kind of time frame we had to get it done by. I have to say it was not about the money , the cost for the needed repairs were very reasonable. Thanks to Safety Brakes and Ed once i was discharged from the hospital we were back on the road safely. I recommend them for your repairs. They treated me and my wife like family. Thanks to all of yall.

Was referred to them but was alittle hesitant. Needed repairs for me 18 yr olds car who just started college. I read most of the reviews and they all were saying pretty much same thing very positive and well liked experience. And now I can say the same very pleased. Took it in close to closed one day, next day called told me what was found and cost. Quite a bit of cost but over $600 less than another place had been to. I agreed to repairs next day my sons car was fixed and ready. I am keeping card and referring to others. Great job thank you!

They replaced my engine harness , map sensor , and crankshaft sensor on my Cadillac dts .. 5 star service .. I had took it to a local shop and they could not fix my car .. I took it here instead and they fixed it right . The guy with the gauged earlobes was very helpful and professional , .. I will definitely be coming back for any future repairs .. happy customer.

Excellent service, very informative concerning your vehicle, with great prices. Been coming here for nearly 20 years, and they have always provided nothing but excellent customer service and service. Recommend to everyone I know and who has issues with their cars.

I called ahead the day before, whereby an employee told me to come in at 8:00am for first come, first serve. Upon arrival the next morning, I learned that 15 cars were ahead of me. Also, the employee alleged he told me this the day before, which did not occur. Ask how many cars are ahead of you before you go.

Honest and fair. They do electrical work too and figured out a problem others had trouble with. Worth a drive across town if you're not nearby.

They repaired my car at less cost than the original quote, and their original quote was the best price I could find in the area. They are hardworking experienced mechanics and they won't be swindling you. This is where I am taking my car from now on.

Great service. Quick and informative. The gentleman that completed my vehicle inspection was just about to go to lunch when I walked in, but decided to complete my inspection right then to prevent me from waiting 30 minutes for him to come back.

We've been taking our various cars & trucks to Safety Brake for over 25 years. They do much more than brakes! Honest, reliable, and prices are reasonable. We'd never go to anyone else.

These guys are honest and fair. 1000 times better service than the Ford house in Grand prairie and at a fraction of the cost. I have moved to Arlington but will continue to use.

Wasn t the owners fault but I wasted 2 hours standing outside in the heat, had my car jacked up, waiting to have my car serviced for the guy to tell me he was waiting to see what I wanted to do, if I didn t check to see how long was the wait I would ve been sitting there much longer.
