I had a great experience at Planet Ford Dallas with the service of my 2020 Ford Explorer. It was great to speak and received the help from Mr. John Green. He is very professional and provided me with an excellent service. I had three encounters with him the first one on the phone and I felt welcome and he was very helpful and kind. I would definitely be coming back to Planet Ford Dallas for any services I might need in the future. I strongly recommend my family and friends to go to Planet Ford Dallas for a great service on their vehicles.

Planet Ford always delivers above and beyond in their service department. It s great that there is so little turnover in their service managers. That says a lot about management. I ve worked with George for 15+ years. He is always professional, kind and seeks to accommodate my sometimes quirky needs.

Terrible Service Experience at Planet Ford DallasRating: 0/5I recently had my car serviced at Planet Ford Dallas, and unfortunately, it was the worst experience I've ever had. My service advisor, John (Jon) Green, fell short of the expected standards for customer service.Service Details:I had my car towed to Planet Ford Dallas and, upon calling the dealership, was instructed to leave the keys with Jon Green and pay $120 for a diagnosis. The car was dropped off on 10/25/2023.Communication Issues:Communication with John was a constant challenge. On 10/27, he informed me about the needed repairs and the involvement of my warranty. Despite my request for a full inspection and recommendations, updates were infrequent, and I had to call him weekly for information.Delays and Lack of Transparency:From 10/31/2023 to 11/27/2023, I experienced delays, conflicting information, and a lack of transparency regarding the progress of the repairs. Parts were supposedly awaited, but it turned out they were available much earlier, leading to a month-long delay in starting the work.Customer Service Issues:My interactions with Jon Green were consistently disappointing. He failed to keep me informed and did not treat me as a valued customer. I had to escalate my concerns to a manager after experiencing a lack of responsiveness and delays.Billing and Warranty Issues:Upon picking up my car, I discovered that my warranty information was not properly entered into the system. Despite Jon's assurance that everything was in order, there were complications during the payment process, causing unnecessary stress.Final Impression:The lack of attention to detail extended to the condition of my car upon pickup. It was dirty, and I did not receive a printout of the warranty for the work done. Simon, another staff member, was helpful, but the overall experience was marred by the issues with Jon Green.Conclusion:In conclusion, my experience at Planet Ford Dallas was exceptionally poor. I hope that my feedback serves as an opportunity for the dealership to address the issues and improve their service standards.

Robert and his service team were awesome again. All my maintenance and service work were completed and delivered when promised. I was called and updated regularly during the entire process. If having work done at a dealership makes you nervous, rest assured at Planet Ford that you will get the highest quality, knowledge, and work performed on your vehicle. Thanks again Robert!!!

I d definitely recommend using Planet Ford Dallas for any service needs! They fit me in same day to replace my Ford Escape battery and to fix a recall notice. They went above and beyond offering me a Lyft ride back home and delivering my car back to my apartment at the end of the service! This is the best dealership service experience I ve ever had!!

Planet Ford service department rocks! Rick was my service advisor and was very informative. The location is some distance from my home, but much better service than the other Ford dealerships in my area. So worth the extra drive for sure!

Background: 2016 F150 back up camera stopped working. I replaced it myself. Still wasn t working. Took to Planet Ford to have diagnostic and to possibly fix it.PROS: The workers were friendly. I do believe they couid have fixed the problem.CONS:-on the phone they told me 2-4 days. When I arrived they told me up to 2 weeks. (They did get back to me in 2 days though, but that 2 week estimate was a shock)-I told them what I already knew and I paid for a diagnostic. The diagnostic told me what I already knew: the back up camera is broken. Yes, that s why I brought it in!-I got an estimate for much larger than was reasonable. I changed the camera myself in 20 less than minutes. I asked for clarification of labor hours charged, but they weren t able to provide details. Since so many back up cameras are faulty it seems like they would know how to fix to problem very quickly, not hours.-My bill for potential work contained $100 in services I didn t ask for. When I asked for a breakdown of costs, they didn t mention these optional services.-The problems with F150 backup cameras are so common I m surprised they charge for the repairs. It seems like an error on Ford s part if so many are problematic.I was really wanting to have a good experience with them. But I left with just a diagnosis I already knew and a heap of frustration and wasted time.

Huge Fan of the Randall Reed Park Cities Ford service team. I delayed service by a couple weeks just so I could coordinate my schedule with advisor John. He is the real deal and makes sure you leave happy. Love him.

The service I received from Planet Ford was top notch. I m from out of state and my car is in TX with my son. A call to Planet Ford lead me to my service advisor Stanley. He could not have been nicer and was super helpful. He understood the stress of this mama trying to coordinate service from another state. From drop off to pick up, Stanley handled everything, took care of my son and kept me in the loop. I will definitely return to Planet Ford for any future service needs. They knocked it out of the park. Thank you!

I scheduled my car for a service due to having a recall notice on a part. They were willing to fix it for free! After dropping our car off at the scheduled time they had it ready to pick up about 4 hours later! So same day!! There was a mix up though. They gave me the inspection report for someone else s vehicle and we were so confused with what our car actually needed fixed. Also we noticed that the recall part that they had fixed was still leaking. When they found out, Rick made sure to reach out to us. He was so thoughtful and cared about the customer and our experience. He told us to bring the car back in and they would fix whatever was causing the leak on that recall part. He personally made sure to email us the correct report right then. I truly appreciated his professionalism and customer service as he willingly worked to solve these problems!

I have been getting my car serviced at Planet Ford for 7 years. I have always been satisfied with their professionalism, and knowledge of my vehicle. Not to mention how nice and friendly the staff is. My service manager, Ben Scott, always makes sure that I am taken care of, and keeps me informed of everything I need to keep my vehicle running in top condition. I will continue to do my business with Planet Ford as long as I have a car.I want to thank Ben, and all the great people who treat me like a valued customer.

I love coming to Dallas to get my car serviced. I never have an appointment, but John always seems to get me in and out in a timely fashion. I would love to used Planet for for all of my services needs. Ask for John he Will definitely take care. And the cashier are friendly. Overall GOOD dealership. 10 .

I always have a great experience when I have my vehicle serviced at Planet Ford! The staff is friendly, the waiting area and restrooms are clean, and the chairs are comfortable. Enjoy coffee or water while you wait. Highly recommend!

This service center kills it. I ve been to several and none compare to Planet Ford. I ve never had any issues getting my truck in. My service advisor (Rick Morales) was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. It s far from my house but worth the trip every single time.

Overall very impressive personal service. My service rep, Simmon, was the best I ve ever encountered. They did a big job on my truck. So far it runs like a new truck. Service manager, Robert Mahoney, was informed and involved. I will be back!!!!! I m definitely a FORD man!!!!

Jake at Planet Ford is the best! Planet Ford is a surprise these days. They actual deliver on the promise of good service. Not just when everything goes as planned but when mistakes happen. I recently had my new Expedition in for service. When I went to pick it up it caught a nail in the tire driving out to the customer aisle. I couldn t wait so they gave me a Lyft ride. The next day, when I dropped by to pick it up it again had a cut in the tread. My brother was in ICU at Baylor. So Jake got me a loaner car and purchased me a new factory tire. I really appreciated Jake taking care of me and the truck as situation required. That s was my third occasion to work with Jake. He always goes out of his way to make sure Planet Ford took care of me. From tracking down replacement keys during Covid to replacing my damaged tire. Jake is a pleasure to work with and Planet backs him up!

If you want a dealer that is professional and consistent this is the place. I ve been going here for the last 2 years for all my service needs. I recently had an issue with my F350 and a wheel oscillation problem. Planet Ford got me a loaner and got my pickup fixed in a timely manner. I ve been more than happy with the service department at this dealership and I will continue to use them.

My Service Advisor, Ben is the BEST!! We were having phone connectivity issues when I reached out to him to see if Planet Ford could assist with the dead battery in my car that was parked in my driveway. He called me back a few times until we were finally able to talk and solved my problem immediately. Planet Ford offers a complimentary service call to replace a battery. Ben had quoted me the price of the battery replacement if I was abl to bring my car to the Service Deportment on one of our earlier callsThe price I paid to have it replaced at my home was the very same.Planet Ford has excellent customer service and I m very appreciative of Ben.
