I got my oil changed and a tire replaced.Customer service was awesome to me, but the oil change was pretty pricey. The tire price was fair. If the oil change was a little cheaper, this would be 5 stars. If you're not worried about price too much, this is the place for you. I would call ahead and set an appointment time. I didnt but they worked with me so that earned big brownie points.I went at 10am on a Monday and they were moderately busy. Took about an hour to get finished.

The mechanic was upset after I told him that the cost was to expensive. I went to another mechanic and he told me the sparks plugs and the injectors were fine but Pep Boys said they needed to be replaced. The other mechanic was almost $500.00 less.

Service took longer than told but I was serviced. I really liked the waiting area- it's separated from the main lobby. The TV was on very loudly and I was unable to change channels so I just turned it off. As a breastfeeding mom to a newborn I appreciated the comfy couches and complimentary water and cookies/chips for my toddler. Thank you!

My car was falling apart. The entire under carriage was scraping the ground. Alan and Pedro helped me tremendously! I cannot thank them enough. They gave me insight as to how to order the correct part for future replacement. Had it not been for Alan and Pedro, the bottom of the car would have caused more damage to the underside of the car or completely fallen off while driving.This is the best Pep Boys, the staff is friendly and show the customer exactly what the auto problems are. There is very little to no wait time, everything was great!! Thank you for fixing my car!!!Rosalinda

I was told to drop off my vehicle in order to do a repair. Instead my vehicle was left outside for 3 days, which lead to someone breaking my window stealing valuable items inside my vehicle. I was informed that the items stolen would not be replace however they would repair my window. Given the fact that I left my vehicle Saturday morning and it's now Tuesday and no one has showed up to repair my window I decided to take my vehicle to a different location.

My 1 star is for customer service, I can t rate the actual work because the customer service was nonexistent it made me not want to give them my business. I made an appointment for 6pm cause that was the only time slot for that day, I fully expected for there to not be anything available same day but I thought I got lucky, so I booked the 6pm. The appointment was booked before 11am, I work until 4:30 so I decide to stay at work longer and just head to my appointment straight from work. The time for my appointment comes, I m there telling them I have a 6pm for a balance and alignment, guy at the counter says the guys that do the alignment leave at 5pm, you ll have to come back tomorrow . Them communicating this would have been helpful somewhere in the 6 hours between when I booked the appointment and when the techs that do alignments leave. I get it scheduling isn t always perfect but a text or phone call letting me know this bit of pertinent information would have been helpful; even a my bad, can we reschedule you? would have been enough. I took my car to a small business that does equal quality or better work and knows how to communicate.

I just want to thank (JONATHAN H.) for helping me with my tires. I have a trip to Mexico and he saved my life, thank you and even though the store is not in good condition, (RENOVATED) LOL...But good costumer services.. #PEP BOYS..

Did a great job getting everything done in the timeframe they said. My only issue was the price i paid online was not what the total ended up being. The road hazard was higher, and they didn't include the shop fee

I have had a really bad experience taking my car to Pep boys for an engine belt change. The belt was improperly placed and with 24hours of me driving, the belt came off while I was driving puting me at risk on the road. The towing van driver that towed my car had to maneuver to get my car out of his truck at the pep boys lot on 59 and beechnut houston TX because my car was on safety mode and wouldn't drive due to the belt pulling out suddenly. The most annoying thing at this current pep boys store is the lack of professionalism and trying to get me pay for what was a bad and risky service rendered by their sister store covered by their insurance. I have filed a complaint with their cooperation and will lodge a complaint with BBB. Will post an update

Cinthya - Assistant Manager informed me this location is having Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11 AM to 3 PM with special discounts. FREE hotdogs, chips and drinks for the entire family. They also have a Gingerbread Garage with Manny, Moe & Jack for family holiday photos

Mostly the visit was great! The only thing that was frustrating is that the system was down so it took a long time to check-out after my car was already done. Even at that the attendant tried to find a way to get me checked out.

I came to this location on 10/3/23 for an oil change. I was extremely disappointed in how dirty they left my vehicle mats. This is completely unacceptable.

Customer Service rep was unfriendly and complained about his manager and the 6 day work week at 12 hours a day. Did not greet the other 2 female customers that came in after me. 2nd female customers must have told him her name, cell number and address 3 times before he managed to find her in the computer. She was certainly not talking fast or rude to him. A male friend/customer(?) cave in and I wasn't really listening, but they were talking about the cost off parts when the Customer Service rep said something to the effect of ' yeah, everyone tried to Jew you down'. I have had issues with Pep Boys in the past but was talked into going again. Never again.

I needed a new battery. My vehicle also requires some reconfiguration when the battery is unplugged or replaced; which I did not know how to do.The crew at Pep Boys replaced the battery and got my vehicle working again. The also did an analysis on the rest of the car in case something else was about to break.It took a little longer to swap the battery than what I thought it would take. I was relieved to discover their waiting room comes with free coffee, cable, and restrooms.

Came in for an oil change and needed brake fluid looked at. They told me to go to bmw for brake fluid they couldn t look. Took 2 hours for the oil change (no one was ahead of me and I had an appointment) after they gave the vehicle back none of the lights were reset. I asked if they could do them and I m not sure what they did but after they were done not only were the lights not reset the button to reset no longer works. So now I have to try to get that fixed when I don t know what was done to it.

Back in March, I took my car to PepBoys, because it was clicking when making a right or left turn. It was my CV axle and the mechanics went next door, to AutoZone, to order one. Returned for repair 2 days later and the issue was fixed but as soon as I drove onto the main street my car started to vibrate at around 40 miles per hour. I u-turned and told them to figure it out and fix it. They told me they will order another CV axle and return in a couple of days. They called me back the next day saying the problem was fixed and that they gave me a complementary alignment and balance for my troubles. Drove onto the main street and nothing changed. There was still vibrating at 40 mph.KEEP IN MIND, THAT MY CAR WAS NOT SHAKING OR VIBRATING BEFORE THEIR DIAGNOSIS.So I u-turned again and asked them if they even checked, repaired, or driven the car. They then blamed it on my bad tires telling me I needed new tires. .I'm a busy woman with 2 children and have a truck so I've been driving that to work. My Hyundai has been sitting in my driveway for 5 months, now. Took a week off and decided to put some time back into the issue. Took it back to Pepboys, new mechanic and crew, and gave them the rundown on my situation and issue a few months back. They determined it was my bad tires so I bought brand new $800 tires from them and that did not fix the issue. They checked again and decided that it was my motor mounts. They were sure to let me know before I price the motor mounts it would be $700 labor. I went home and ordered motor mounts from ebay and got them installed at Rami's Lube on Illinois for $350 labor.As of today, all 4 motor mounts were replaced and the violent shaking continues. Was going to take back to Pepboys to let them know that they were wrong, again, and that they need a better mechanic. Misdiagnosing my issue multiple times and my car is still shaking.If you love your car, work hard for your means of transportation, and don't like to waste money; DO NOT BRING IT TO PEPBOYS.

My car was taken in to assess an air conditioning issue. They diagnosed the issue and my aunt (who took in the car) brought it back so I can save up to get this fixed, so they provide good work. The reason I m leaving a 1 star review is because I was stolen from. My change cup was depleted by half and the only ones who touched my car were these guys here at Pep Boys. I come and ask for a service to be provided, I don t ask to be robbed. I will not be trusting this place to fix my car, but I do hope that no one else has an experience like we did.

I have been using this location since 2009. When I moved here from another state they were the place I could trust with my cars. This past year their service has been terrible. I believe one of their main managers passed away in 2016 or earlier this year. Since he has been gone their customer service has gone down the drain. They have overcharged me for multiple things. And when I question the pricing they have magically found discounts. This past and the last time I ve come to this location I believe they made a mistake did something to my air condition. They told me based on the previous repair it was impossible that they caused the issue with my air conditioner. I had no issues with my air conditioner before bringing them my car for an unrelated issue. They said they could check it out for me after I paid them an additional $75.I have gone to a pep boys in Chicago and they accidentally cracked my windshield. And when I called them, they said they would check out the cameras, They did not immediately deny that they didn t do anything. And after they checked the cameras they realize that they did do it. And it was an accident. And it was OK because they fixed it. That is customer service. And that is why I have been coming to Pep Boys for so long. But I will never return to this location again. They wouldn t even check the cameras to see if the mistake had been made. I have been coming to this location for eight years. And it seems every time I go in there there are new workers. Their head office needs to clean up this shop because there are too many other maintenance shops in this area to be treated as if they are the only one.

Best Pep Boys in North Texas! Jonathan is incredible. He has outstanding customer service. He s polite, honest, and does his due diligence. They re going through a remodel at the moment so pardon their dust. Other than that come to this Pep Boys for great/honest service. Highly recommended!

Ladies beware !!This Pep Boys location preys on single women who don t know much about cars or repairs in my opinion I visited this location on Saturday . They told me what they felt was wrong with the car and had me pay $424 to fix it , less than 12 hrs later my engine light was back on my car I called they told me to come in Monday I came in Monday they still didn t fix anything . He told me if the light comes back on (which it did) they could try something else . I don t have time nor the money for my car to be used as a test dummy I would ve preferred them tell me they weren t sure about the condition of my car and refer me to someone else instead of trying to getMe to keep paying them to try different things to fix it.

The oil change was good. They said I needed one but they didn't tell me why oil is leaking. They weren't able to diagnose my initial issue which was why my turn signals weren't working because they had no electrical mechanic. But they did refer someone. Last time I visited though no one was in the store to help me, I had to find someone to ask for help

Came to Pepboys on Ft Worth Ave needing my alternator replaced, they did the job but abused my car. I have a high horsepower RWD car and it was very obvious that the employees were doing burnouts in my car, they left little tread on my tires and there was rubber all over my back bumper, very unprofessional. Furthermore, there was a scratch on my front right fender that they admitted to doing but said it would buff out, didin't even offer to do a 5 min job to buff it out. They denied doing burnouts in my car when i have pictures of it 2 days before it went in, freshly washed, not a spec of dust on it. If you have a high horsepower car, I do not recommend this Pepboys at all. Very disappointed in the way they treated my car.

Had my car towed by Ignite (which is wonderful) to Pep Boys, on Ft. Worth Avenue, and I was impressed with the service. Luis did everything possible to make sure everything went smoothly. I opened up an account with them as I will be bringing my car back for other services. The only thing that I thought could use improvement would be to have another service man at the front and also someone at the cash register where I stood for awhile to buy a bottle of water which I finally put back.
