Family was going to the mechanic for years and years. haven t been there in a long time but I gave the chance and then they tried to overcharge me and also stole stuff from the car. The mechanic said he left the car over the weekend, but there was no signs of forced entry, doors were locked, and the stuff that was stolen were things mechanics would use like a drill and a paint buffers. I literally opened my car to the middle console open with all the stuff inside of it everywhere.The keys were in his possession , and in his lot with the doors locked. Beware this shop is not what it once was.

Richard deliberately destroyed two of my cars. The first car was a Lexus that was paid for. I brought my car in to change my oil and check my fluids before I went out of town. And he deliberately left my radiator gap off! After replacing the radiator, he suggested that I get rid of my paid for car because I would soon have issues with the motor. So I traded my car in and got a Mercedes! He never admitted to what he did to the radiator cap. Instead, he claimed it just was old and fell off. But mind you he was the only person that touched the car and approved it to be driven out of town!After I got the Mercedes I took the car to him to replace Swaybar links. Richard is a very convincing liar. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him do work on my Mercedes.After he changed my sway bar links my car was still running hard so I asked him to check it. He refused for an Over a week he put me off and gave me excuses why he could not test drive my car. But instead he looked over it And deliberately beat one side of my axle in the wheel of my tire! I drove all the way past Austin and back on a broken axle. Once I was on the freeway headed out of town. I immediately called Richard and told him it felt like I was losing control of my wheel. Richard got very quiet over the phone just waiting for me to wreck out But God took the wheel and straighten my car back up. I made it to where I was going and back. I didn t trust Richard anymore so I took my car to another mechanic to get a second opinion, that mechanic told me that my axle had been deliberately beaten into my wheel and that s the only thing that saved me. He showed me the axel the way it broke. Richard is still denying! And is threatening to call the police and file harassment charges on me for calling him and trying to get him to do the right thing! This man is a snake in the grass. He will look you in your face and tell very convincing lies! He is sneaky he will put aftermarket parts on your car without you knowing ! He will pretend like he is doing you a favor using aftermarket parts and not making you aware that if you use aftermarket parts on certain cars, it will make A conflict in your warranty contract! He also uses cheap oil.He ll Sneak use random objects out of his shop from old cars that he has worked on just to keep from having to walk across the street to AutoZone to get new parts and to save money! he will rig your car! Customers trust Richard, and leave their cars in his care, and as soon as they turn their back to leave and go home! He hires someone less fortunate and unexperienced to work on the car so he can save money! And he also doesn t really wanna work instead he wants to walk around the shop Or solicit women! Not only that after hours he hires the neighborhood homeless guy whom is a drug addict And alcoholic to work on cars and pay him five or $10! He even had the homeless guy to work on cars after he stated that he was hung over ! He gets a kick out of using people who have less than him! He laughs at the fact that the homeless guy told him that he was recently diagnosed with cancer. So he does work for Richard so he can get money to catch the bus to the hospital! Richard has that man doing very difficult jobs, and will pay him a little of nothing ! He claims that his workers steal tools From him!He will also bill his customers according to his personal bills. Richard was sitting in a car that have been dropped off and letting the car run, knowing it did not have a drop of oil in the engine! He deliberately did it so The engine would have to Be replaced! He also solicits women, and works on their car!And then lies about it!When I do get him on the phone, he tell me if I believe that he has damage my vehicles to go ahead and sue him. I told him I was going to write this report he told me go ahead people get bad reviews all the time , so I guess he doesn t feel it will affect his business! I have tried to get him to do the right thing for months and he has lied on me to the bitter end!! he also lied to the police! Beware of This scammer!

Incredible service and pricing, this family business owner Richard will take great care of you! Before you get hosed by a dealership or another auto shop, call Richard. You ll thank him and your pocketbook!

You know how you want to be able to say I ve got a guy ? Richard & PV Auto is that guy.His team finished two axels of brakes on my Pilot in 1.8 hrs and his price was $200 LESS than any other quote I found.This place is the type of place that s slowly disappearing and becoming a thing of the past-honest, privately owned mechanics.Reminds me of the small town shops from back home in North Dakota.Best prices and service I ve found in Dallas. Let em cook.

Came here to get my battery replaced. I drive a hybrid so the battery is in the back. They changed it out, cleaned up some of the corrosion, and charged a fraction of what it would have been at other shops. It's a small shop so I was a little confused who to talk to at first. The gentleman helping me out was very kind. This will definitely be the first place I consider if I have any issues in the future.Service: Auto battery replacement

Richard is a great guy and owns an awesome shop. If you re like me and know nothing about cars come here. They tell you everything you need and nothing that you don t. Also came in last minute and they got it done in the same day. Richard with PV Auto Services is definitely a God send! I drove over an hour to his shop based upon the reviews and he did not disappoint! I called him prior to dropping it off to describe the problem that I was having and he not only accurately diagnosed the issue but also gave me an estimate to repair over the phone. I had called 5 other auto repair places including the Nissan dealership who all told me that it could be a number of issues that would probably result in costly repairs and that they could not diagnose it until I paid for an expensive diagnostic first.Richard not only accurately diagnosed the issue but also ended up charging me lessthan his original quote!I can t even express how grateful I am for his honesty and kindness as it is always a scary endeavor for a woman who knows nothing about car repair to find someone trustworthy and not trying to take advantage.My car has never run better! I have a 2008 Xterra and the drive home was the smoothest it s driven in years!Thank you Richard! You have a new customer for life!

Richard was awesome. The staff there are kind and very professional. Richard was great. He was fair and straight forward. Honestly he was just awesome fixing my car. He will tell you what you need and don t try to make you pay for unnecessary things. I like that! I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good and fair mechanic.

Place was extremely busy love the fact that they were open extremely late even though they were helping about six other people at once I was still able to get my tire replaced and was out of there in less than half hour price was reasonable a little about what I thought I would pay for a used tire $40 but overall convenience was worth it.

I m soooo glad my husband s friend recommended we bring my car here, not once, but twice now. Each time they ve saved me a ton of money, while providing high quality service! Richard is amazing!!! Our first experience with him...they were actually closed and he still took time to come out and look at our car for us. Gave us some great suggestions. Upon our return he immediately went to work on our car and had it fixed within 2 hours at a great price!!! We still have some repairs and he offered a great deal with bulk repair. Richard is our new mechanic

I had an overall great experience here. Kind employees, quick service, fair prices. I needed a new window regulator; I read online that places charge up to $300 for a fix that is relatively inexpensive. I paid $160 and had my car back within hours.I had a strange conversation with one of the employees but he was still really kind. There is limited parking in the front of the building but plenty right next to it. They only take cash, checks, or app payment (like Venmo) so keep that in mind if you go.

Do not take your car here! My car was stolen while at the shop getting repairs. I basically got a phone call saying, sorry about that. They made no attempts at all to remedy the situation. Richard told me their business was not insured and also told me cars have been stolen from their shop before.

What Rich said was wrong with my car was exactly what I already knew. the price other mechanics wanted was far to much for only half the job. Rich and his crew charged half what other mechanics wanted and did the whole job for half the price. I appreciatethe value he places on quality work and your pocket. Thank you Rich for your honesty.

AMAZING work! Rick and his team went above and beyond routine care when it came to my vehicle and my budget. Their quality of workmanship is fantastic and at super low prices. 5 stars doesn t begin to describe this place. The area is a little run down and the shop doesn t look like much, but man will they surprise you. The service has always been surprisingly fast, and you won t find a better price. They aren t out to score a buck off you and only give honest recommendations. They even went above and beyond by repairing some cosmetic damage free of charge. I would highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Richard did a great job. They are very honest and ethical. I took my car in to get my alternator replaced and Richard told me that all I needed was a new battery. He could of easily just replaced the alternator and made more money. He is a class act.

Richard is the real deal. He is always straightforward, fair, and easy to work with. He s worked on my car a number of times and I ll go back every time in the future. He will even visibly show you what the problem was when it s possible to do so.

Took my car here because my alternator was giving me problems and not charging my car. They switched it out that same day and my car was ready for pick up by the afternoon. One of the most trustworthy shops I've been to. Really helpful and they made sure to point out exactly what they did

My engine light went on late Friday night on my VW Tiguan. Saturday morning I called first thing, came in and they checked it. They were busy but they still made room for me, took care of it and I was on the road in an hour. Big plus for the extremely friendly customer service I got from Richard, I felt right at home.
