These guys have helped me a ton!I had a short in my car that caused the headlights to malfunction. I brought it in and they had diagnostics run & the car fixed in the same day! I've had similar issues in the past where the car wasn't even looked at for a few days. They mentioned that due to the short, I may have issues in the future and if that happens, I can bring it back in.That did happen & when I brought the car back, they put me to the front of the line and had the small issue fixed in a few minutes.William was very helpful the last time I took it in for an issue that turned out to be unrelated to my original problem. He fixed it quick for no extra charge.I'd highly recommend if you have any complex electrical issues with your car.

This place does not even deserve a 1 star. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I took my 2013 Ford Explorer here in November because the steering assembly was bad. They quoted me $1,500 to fix it while I was providing the part. The first time they told me the car was ready, the same issue came up and I sent it back. Same thing happened the second time they called me. I was out of the country in December so I asked my uncle to pick it up and they made him pay an extra $600 to program the part which was never mentioned and the car still had the same problem. He brought it back and they came to the conclusion that the part was bad. Another part was supplied and replaced the original part and they wanted me to pay for the labor again despite paying the first time. I refused and they threatened to but a mechanical lien on my vehicle for not paying. I tried to work things out to avoid any problems and they asked me to pay $1,000 extra. I asked if the car works and they said yes. Ended up paying extra and the problem persisted. Brought it back for the 5th time and then they claimed it was the battery. I paid them to provide the battery. They called me when it was ready and I did not even make it home and the steering lights popped back up. I called and asked for a refund and they refused saying that it was my fault due to the parts I supplied. I spent over $3,000 and my car still does not work. I am preparing to start legal proceedings in order to recover my lost funds and fix my vehicle that is still not working. Once again, I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. They will steal your money.

They helped me, held my car for almost 2 weeks for the payment, and to top it off. They did the work before I could even pay. I just asked to drop it off because it wouldn't start if I cut it off. And they had it done. The guy in the front office took care of me as well as the electrician. When it was done. Something wasn't working. Went back. And fixed it. Watched how it was done. AL'S Auto referred me here. Loved it!

Highly recommend this repair shop, very honest and professional. Took my vehicle in because O reileys tested the battery which came out good but showed the alternator failed. When I dropped it of I asked to have the alternator replaced. They said they would diagnose it. When I came to pick it up they said it wasn t the alternator but a relay wire. Another shop would have gone to replace the alternator and they didn t, doing only what was needed. Thank you Service: Electrical

I met the owner at the 711 on Sylvan months ago when my 85 El Camino decided to breakdown on me.He approached me to ask if i needed help.I noticed his shirt and asked if he knew where I could take my car, he then told me about his shop just few blocks down the street.His wife was in his vehicle and all 3 if us got my car to the shop!!!Since then I've had to go to him to get work done....Friendly, helpful, and GETS THE JOB DONE !!

Been going to the Owner William over 20 years. He s honest reliable professional knowledgeable more than reasonable. Is someone you hope you will find a mechanic his team is the best.

This shop completely robbed me for a little over $3,000. Had my truck in the shop for a little over 3 months. Called them and told them I needed it ASAP , they gave me the truck back while they got the parts. Ever since I called to check up and nothing. I showed up and the owner was allways hiding . Do not make business with these people!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would!!!

DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT GO THIS LOCATION IF YOU LIKE YOUR STUFF DONE RIGHT!!Very rude, unprofessional, ignorant on their own policies. I went to location for simple head light issues left there with deep electrical problems now . I thought was last year but found receipt, Was at end march 2022 when they made my car worst than before. Now they won't honor what was promised. I ask the guy that own company what length of warranty ? This was on day of work being perform. He told me if anything occurs wrong bring it back anytime. I work on road I'm out town a lot . I'm finding out that simple headlight fix the company suppose did has turn into multiple electrical problems that wasn't there. Dash flickers now, radio makes weird pop noise when i turn key on my car, my cruise control dont work now(before they screw up my electrical it did) , only high beam work can't just turn on low beams, and horn works when it wants to. I talk to the most ignorant employee that calls himself a manager Jesus (change your name , your parents shouldn't name you that biggest joke ever). He just got there and doesn't know how talk to customers or honor correcting the work they botch up . I never will go to this location again. It not like it use to be . If want be mistreated , lie to and have money wasted from them scamming ,this the place for you right here. I'll never recommend them again. Now i have to spend over 200 dollars more to fix their mistakes wow. No good comes to those who practice business ethics like they do.Service: Electrical

I went there with my f250 spark plug issue, they did a timing chain and charged me $2000 and the firing was still incorrect!!! On top of that they didn t charge my ac back up! Just a lot of hot air! Stay away if you don t want your blood pressure to go up!!! Not nice to say about William all he do it LIE LIE LIE, then he act like he s your friend, just to get the money out of your bank account!!!!! Repeat STAY AWAY!Service: Engine repair

I am thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and care of Oak Cliff Auto Electric Repair. I had an issue with the high-beams on my Toyota Prius (they had just stopped working, for no apparent reason). I had another place look at it and they said they d have to look at it more deeply but estimated that the repair would cost from several hundred to potentially into the thousands of dollars and that it might take a while to fix. I then decided to take my car to Oak Cliff Auto Electric Repair (based on the positive reviews I read online) for a second opinion and I m so happy I did. William was so sweet and took a look at my car right away. They were able to diagnose and remedy the wiring issue in only an hour and charged me only $80. I highly recommend this place, they know their stuff and don t take advantage of their customers!Service: Electrical repair

I'm really grateful I came here the staff was very friendly! They had me wait in their cozy waiting room with ac and Netflix and donuts!! The Diagnostic was a very reasonable price which was very amazing compared to other places I've went to. It did not take long for them to fix the problems I had and for my ac to blow iceee cold!!! And the price was great! I'm greatful I found this place for sure!!!

William is the best you could ask for in a mechanic. The crew he has is A1 and they have worked on my golf cart , service trucks, vintage cars and trailers. William always finds a way to make it work.

I have used William as my family mechanic for 20+ years. That should tell you my opinion of his service and his character. William is an excellent diagnostician. These guys are the best in the game!!! I had a MAP sensor issue took my car to dodge they couldn't find the problem to fix. Then I took it to Oak Cliff Auto Electric they found the problem and fixed it. The problem was the wiring to the MAP sensor was bad, they traced the wire and solved the issue. If you have car troubles the best investment for your vehicle is Oak Cliff Electric.

This is a good and honest mechanic shop. Both the owner and mechanics are very knowledgeable! You get the best quality of work at a fair price. I will be returning for any of my mechanical or electrical issues.

I went in for a new belt on my Caddy and ended up getting a few other things done as well. The work was done the same day and the bill was way less than I anticipated! Great work! Great price! The owner was pretty cool as well.

This business is awesome! An emergency with my kid's car and they quickly diagnosed the problem, got the parts, and went the extra mile while they were under the hood. Reasonably priced, friendly, and thorough. It doesn't get any better!

I have been going to numerous different mechanics who claimed they fixed the problem with my car and continually I had the same problem shortly after my visit to each shop! I ran into someone having a similar problem with their car who then referred me to Oak Cliff auto, THANK GOD for that because they were able to quickly locate the problem with an actual solution and permanently fixed it. They are the definition of purity and honesty, as a matter of fact check this out... I mentioned I had called an Uber to go grab Starbucks till they finished with my car and William said cancel the Uber and gave me his car key!!! Mind blown! Not for one second did they try to lie or cheat me out of more money in fact they saved what they could and gave me an incredible deal on what they couldn t save ultimately fixing the problem for a fraction of the cost. If you want a shop that knows 100% what they re doing then please stop by Oak Cliff auto and see for yourself!! Very professional and informative explaining the problem step-by-step and how they resolved the issue permanently. They are good hearted honest people who genuinely care about there customers. They truly deserve all the business in the world! Thank you again Oak Cliff auto, you now have a customer for life!

Yesterday i drove all around the Dallas area looking for a auto mechanic. I found out a lot of mechanics dont do electrical work, so I found Oak Cliff Electric Repair on here I just googled because I was getting outrageous quotes. I met a guy by the name of William and he was the most genuine person I've met, fixed my problem within a hour and for less than half the price. The work was efficient and quick.This will now be the place I bring my car for all repairs and needs. I'm thankful and grateful to have found this auto mechanic shop!!!!!

I needed some electrical work done on my Honda Civic, and after seeing this listing called and left a message. William called me back within a few minutes and after explaining the problem, told me to go ahead and bring my car in. Once there he quickly determined the cause of the problem -- rodents of some type (a mouse, a squirrel or who knows) -- had chewed through some wiring. I left the car with him while I walked to have lunch and by the time I walked back it was done, and in less than 2 hours. I was completely satisfied with the work and the quick service. As to not letting this happen again, a trip to Home Depot to buy a bottle of rodent repellent, and parking in a different place than where I have been parking, should prevent little varmints from taking up residence again.

I love this place! The owner cares about his customers! I personally love this place! William has helped me so much with my old car and newer car. He s given me insight on problems and assesses it honestly. He responds fast and keeps me updated. I wish there were more places like this! Thank you guys!

I took my 2006 Dodge Magnum to Mr. William over a year ago now but have been having problems with my car every since I got it back. I paid this mechanic $2000 to rebuild my transmission and $2400 to rebuild my motor with all new parts. I kept wondering why he felt so obligated to lend me used cars he had in his possession each time I would take it back or have towed back to his shop which was repeatedly as in several times but I m guessing it was from the personal guilt he felt. I later find out from 2 different mechanics that my motor was never rebuilt but rather switched out with a used motor that had a damaged cylinder. I talked to Mr. William who informed me he wasn t sure if it was rebuilt or if an old motor was replaced in the vehicle. I told him our agreement was for a rebuilt motor and served him with the legal paperwork as of 8-28-18 to do the right thing and repair my engine with the new parts that was agreed upon. Mr. William said it was bullshyt and now I had no warranty and tore the legal paperwork up in front of me and tossed it in the CWD trash bin right in front of me. Now I will be serving him with further legal paperwork to come to court for either my money back or to repair my vehicle with all new parts as agreed upon. I highly advise all who consider dealing with this company to seek another mechanic else where as these people are truly indeed vicious scammers!!!!

My car wouldn t start and I had a electrical problem I thought it would take possibly atleast some days or weeks and also I figured it would really be more than I could afford . William gave me a fair And affordable price And fixed my car in less than a day ! I was very pleased and happy with the service they gave us . I will def go back for any car repairs I need ..

I WOULD STAY AWAY! They don t contact you, they give you old parts and say they re saving YOU money. Not one when they said they would call di they actually call and generally didn t sound like they knew what was going on with the cars in the garage at any point. Seen other people s cars come out of there still unrepaired. Not professional and a scam of a family business. The only person who saves money putting old parts on somebody s car is you.Service: General repairs & maintenance
