Terrible place to go to, I spent $80 on a tire here and it lasted me 10 days before a bubble started bulging out the side wall, I have rarely been driving my car before and they say they can t do anything about it. Not only do they wanna charge me for a whole new used tired but also charge me to help put my spare on. They don t care about anyone but a quick buck. I d be careful getting anything done from this place

No real set prices, one day it s 60, the next day they try to charge 80 (within 7 days of each other and a receipt) Not a helpful business for the community, better off headed to discount tire and grabbing the warranty that comes with it. They re ruining the point and best part of being a local business owner. I understand someone who raises prices but their method is to charge based on if they think you can afford it. Needless to say I left surprised and disappointed. Hope this review helps the next one and costs ya more than your 20 dollars. Oh well.

I got an emergency on the road and they took advantage of the situation . Sold me a BAD used tite for $75 dollars. They want it me to pay cash so they can keepThe money and not report the sale, eeven suggest to go to the ATM machine and get cash to pay them. BE ALERT WITH THIS BUSSINESS

Great, fast service. Really helped us out of a bind. Had a tire belt break. Hooked us up with a replacement fast and 10 minutes before they closed even. Much appreciated.

The reviews are true, do not come here unless it's your absolute ONLY option. They scammed and overcharged me for something I did not even receive. I had a nail in my tire and stopped by for a patch. I originally asked for plug and was told "We do not do plugs" and was then told a patch would be $30. $30?! Considering I was already there and the tire was already off I went ahead with it knowing I was getting ripped off. After it was all said and done, I got home and realized I was given a PLUG anyway!! After being told they didn't do plugs and getting charged $33!!

Terrible place for service. If I could give this place no stars, I would. They said they had our tire size. We got there, they took off the tire, and they were taking a long time. Then they realized they didn t actually have anything for us after all; came back and said the tire is no good. And then they said they have one that fits but its not the right size and wanted to charge $80 to which we refused. And then wanted to charge us $20 for nothing, saying they don t work for free. Thanks for lying to us over the phone saying you have the tire and then realizing it doesn't fit after you already took off our tire then continuing to be shady about it because you didn t want us to leave. We wouldn t have come if you didn t have the tire. Probably doesn t help the business at all with the owner or manager s breath smelling like ALCOHOL. You re honestly better off anywhere else.

Never come to this place I end up paying $135 just for one used tire and one patch for a car and they were trying to sell me all four tires for $600 talking about all my tires were bad when I only need one tire and one patch

Prices are ridiculous. Came in for a patch that a friend told me cost $15 and then had a guy tell me both back tires needed to be replaced and when I asked for the price he said $160 for used to tires.

This place is amazing. I had nails in two tires. I pulled up and his team was like NASCAR! They got both tires off, patched it and I was gone in 15 minutes!

Edit: I decided to give this place another chance, I needed a tire patched and I was told by one of the the guys who work there that they couldn t fix it because the tread was too low and told me I needed the 2 front tires. When I told him I didn t have money to buy the 2 used tires he pretty much sent me home so I called and spoke to the owner Agustin. Agustin was a blessing and I m glad that I called , he explained to me why they don t patch your tires when they re too low (safety reasons and liability) and asked me to come back and they would take care of me. Agustin is one of those people that hardly exist anymore, he was very polite and he apologized and took care of me. If you are dissatisfied with the service at this shop please make sure you speak to him. I hope his business continues to grow and he receives many blessing cause what he did for me meant to world at a time like this. Agustin, if you read this yes it was me who left a bad review 2 Yrs ago and now that you ve met me I hope you know I wasn t lying. Thank you so so much for giving me a hand when I need it the most!Where do I start, the first time I went I was surprised by the price since I was told a used tire would be $60 and I've paid half that before so I asked if he didn't have any cheaper ones and he said the lowest was $50 so I said ok and ended up paying more than $50 cause I didn't have cash on me. The second time I went I replaced another tire for the same price plus the fee for using my card, around two months later I went to get one of the tires checked because air was coming out and I had to constantly put air in it and the guy told me they couldn't fix it and instead sold me another one. While they were putting the one I bought that day one of the guys noticed a nipple on the tire I'd just bought two months ago and said I needed to replace that one too because it was going to pop. I told the guy I had just bought that tire from them and if they could at least give me a discount and he said "NO". I said that's fine I don't have $100 for both tires so they only put the one that I paid for that day and this time I made sure I brought cash so I wouldn't have to pay the extra fee. Next day the tire they replaced was low so I took it to another place just to find out they left a nail in between the tire and rim which I feel was done on purpose because the guy did say "see you tomorrow!" I got the tire with the nipple replaced at a different tire shop for $35 and it has lasted me a good while. Another thing they did was to put different tire sizes probably because they didn't have the exact size but they still wanted the money. It really makes me sad that they take advantage of people like that especially since I'm a female and one of the guys asked where was my boyfriend and why was I the one taking the car to get the tire fixed, he also made a joke I really didn't understand.

Came here with a flat tire. He seen my tire was flat and took advantage of me. I m a master mechanic of over 20 years. I can get brand new tires for 75 a piece. I ve never in my life heard of someone paying 100 for a used tire. I will be calling the attorney general and the better business bureau. I see why they have 3 stars. Hot garbage.

This USED tire shop is a ripoff. I wanted to have my 2003 E320 spare tire valve stem replaced with a new one. The valve stem is unique and needs the same as the original. The tire shop had one and wanted $40 for it. I went to MB dealership in Plano and bought one for $8.50. Royal Tires down the road put the valve stem for free. NEVER GO to MONTOYA S GO TO ROYAL!

Dont go here there are better prices elsewhereThey will price gouge & tell you whatever number to see if you ll pay it.Told me $120 for a singular used tire, not even 2 months later that tire literally explodes, I come back & they re out of used tires and only have new tires for $250 per tire . I needed all 4 changed .Went around the corner to royal tire shop and got 4 brand new tires for $50 each(New tires are generally priced at $45-$80 for my car, normal daily driving tires, not performance tires)

Montoya's Tire Shop definitely exceeded my expectations for purchasing used tires for my Mazda 6 for several reasons!1. They offer good quality - almost new - lightly used tires - at very affordable prices.2. Super speedy and fast tire replacement - AND they are open til 8:00 PM. I arrived at 7:25 and drove away with a "new - used" tire by 7:40!3. And most importantly.... Montoya's has great customer service! I was very impressed with the honest, kind & sincere employees/management for making my tire replacement as convenient and painless as possible.

The drunk half-stack that runs the place is a real piece of work. I called for availability, they said they had it. I drove there. They took my tire off and came back 10 mins later and told me the tire they had was no good but I d be charged 20 for their labor. The guy reeked like alcohol and just didn t gaf. We argued until they put my tire on and let me leave. The ol bait and switch

Very nice and helpful. The tire sensor on my right front tire kept coming on. I had gone to Discount tire twice to get air in that same tire. I decided to stop by here so they could check my tire for maybe a small leak. The guy said my tire was fine but he was going to adjust the air pressure on all my tires. My tire sensor hasn't come back since then. Thanks.

This place has been open for some years and I m not sure why. My dad brought in a tire that needed the rim fixed and they charged 35. He came back the next day with the other tire and he charged him 50. But when my Latina friend came in for the same reason he charged her 20 . Put 2 and 2 together. That s not right. I hear a lot of people get treated this way from this company. These prices are based on race and car type. Either get new management or close down. Depending on who you are, they ll charge a new tire price for a used tire. Believe the comments. Some people were just lucky enough to be charged fairly.

These guys got me in and out in 20 minutes, and the price was fair. My wife s tire had a nail in it a few months ago so I put a plug in it. Fast forward a few weeks and we got another nail. The crew at Montoya s pulled and patched the plug and the nail, mounted and balanced the tire, in about 20 minutes. Just Tires wouldn t touch the tire because we plugged it, and they just wanted to sell me a new one.I ll definitely go back to Montoya s for this type of service.

These guys always take care of me, my friends and family. My last pair of used tires from there got me 30,000 miles. Just picked up a used set today. Great deals and fast service.

Pulled in to get a couple of tires and they are priced at the same as a brand new tire. The young dude I spoke to was cocky and rude. I used to love this place back in the day. I won't go back for sure. My husband is Hispanic and he was quoted a different price the week before and said he talked to the same kid. You def get treated differently if you aren't Hispanic.Head over to Jordis used tires for friendly staff and fair prices.

Horrible customer service . Charged me $100 for a used tire that was worth $60 tops (used tires are usually $40-$50 everywhere else ) . Instead of telling me sorry I can t take your offer, he takes the tire and starts to rolling it to the back in mid conversation. The owner is extremely rude and has no manners . On top of all of this , they did a horrible job at balancing my tire, it was shaking really bad on my way home . 0 out of 5 stars , I highly advise you look for another shop that can take care of you .

So after reading you guys reviews I had to go see for myself (I m a Virgo) & I gotta admit it was just the opposite of what I read .I had two bad tires,which I had talked to Josh the day before..Josha had me two tires waiting for me and also checked and saw I also needed a tire in the front(GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE).The tires was $80 a piece,which is the going rate in the city(Dallas)for GOOD used tires.They got me outta there in like 20 minutes top.I honestly appreciate you guys for taking care of me and you have a new client here.

Do NOT go here!! I bought a used tire here two weeks ago (Jan 2022) only to come outside last week finding the tire totally flat. This was the Wed morning when the ice storm was moving in, and one week after I had bought. I called the owner that day, who assured me he would fix or replace the tire, and he said it would be no problem to wait until this week after the ice had cleared out. This is exactly what I did. I went yesterday (Feb 8, 2022) to have him fix or replace the tire. When I got to his shop, he said he would not repair it unless I paid him another $20. After paying $70 for a tire that couldn't hold air for a week, there was no way I was paying him more. When I tried to tell him this wasn't right, all the men in the shop gathered around me and my car. It was intimidating and scary. So now I'm out $70 and I had to put my old tire back on which has a slow leak. They are dishonest and deceitful. They also wanted me to pay in cash and said they wouldn't charge me any taxes. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!To the owner: DO NOT REPLY TO THIS POST! Your false replies to all the other negative posts are disgusting. With your replies, you are trying to make it appear that you are an honest, caring businessman, and your customers are misunderstanding you and are the ones who have a problem. I know for a fact this isn't true, and you are the one who is being dishonest and underhanded. You need to be put out of business.

Did a good job how ever they charged me double the cost of someone who was next to me. Charged me $40.00 for a patch and the lady next to me was charged $20.00. Not about the money but the principle. I drive a raptor and they want to over charge. I tipped the man who did the work (which was great) have him $60.00. Again it s not the money it s the principle l. You shouldn t charge someone more because of the car they drive.

Terrible experience. Came here to get a used tire. They had already taken off the tire before they told us that they didn't have any used tires in our size. Charged us 10$ just to put our own tire off and on. Big time rip off! Do NOT come here!!

Over priced for nothing, that is the last time I go. Please folks go somewhere else and get more service for less with better service! Discount tire for all your tire services . F this place and I hope these guy's go out of business...really soon!
