Needed r1234yf in my 2017 Land Rover. Matt was very knowledgeable and very nice. He ran into some unexpected issue and instead of charging me extra he gave me a discount for the taking longer than expected. Couldn t recommend his business more. Please avoid using this place. I went to get my AC looked at and was quoted $1300 for a new AC compressor. Got a second opinion and paid $65 for an AC service. My AC has been working like a charm for months now (I specifically waited to post this review to confirm a service was all that was needed). Sketch and scammy. Stay away.

Absolute worst experience I ve ever had with a professional we trusted Matt with a job of diagnosing a problem with the ac on a vehicle for an elderly family member we started this journey with a promise of taking care of the situation and told us he would have an answer by the end of the day well after three days and six different trips up there picking up the car day after day and picking it up night after night his excuses began we didn t make an appointment so he would push the work back on the third day he called and said he found the issue and the truck would be fixed by end of day which apparently for him is 11pm so at 11:30 we go to check on the vehicle which is apart with no pricing given to us when I asked about a price he told me that he doesn t know but it will be expensive he couldn t tell me what he did besides in his words added 2 quarts of oil a gallon of coolant and alittle bit of Freon I asked for a price and the truck back with work incomplete because I lost all faith in his ability to fix the vehicle he then told me it would be 400 dollars to get my vehicle back and that would be cash and he would not write a receipt for the money given after hours of him holding my car for ransom and police being called he told me to give him 200 dollars and he would give me the keys to the vehicle without a receipt he thinks there s no recourse for his actions and me not being a first time customer surprised me he is known for charging extra for things you don t ask for but I didn t think he would try that with me I see why his reputation is the way it is he might fix your problem but you might get more then you bargain for by allowing him to touch your vehicle beware!!!!!!

Had to get my a.c. fixed on my 2005 Honda Accord. Went to Matt's first for an estimate and he showed me what was wrong and what would need to be replaced. He gave me a few estimate options depending on what he would end up fixing. Took it to another shop and they agreed with what Matt had said and gave me their estimate, which was considerably higher compared to Matt's estimate, so I went with Matt. He was very knowledgeable and amiable, and I felt comfortable letting him do the work. He kept in touch with me regarding the fix and was able to get it everything done in the time he promised. It was a bit of a wait getting in, but I think he's just there by himself and it was only about a day or 2. The final cost was a little bit more than his initial estimate, but it was still pretty close and definitely a fair price for the work. This was about a month ago, and my a.c. is still blowing ice cold. Very satisfied. He can talk your ear off if you let him, but he's usually pretty funny

Matt has worked on my families vehicles for decades. He used to be in charge of making sure the emergency response vehicles of the city of dallas where in top condition. I've never had to bring something back for anything. He's very meticulous - does the best job he can - every single time. He's a wealth of knowledge and will always give you his honest opinion. One of those rare bread of mechanics.

One man shop that does things however he wants. Had my car, in the morning said he would call back shortly, ended up calling me at 9:30 PM. Said he would call me back the next morning to confirm cost before starting, but salls me after 10PM that night, telling me the car is fixed and he needed me to come then to get the car. I live 30+ minutes away. Pain in the neck to deal with.BUT, if you don't mind the way he runs his business, he did fix the problem. Not cheap, but did a good job on the van.

I m glad I came to Matt s, he got my AC blowing cold again. Plus, he went the extra mile and fixed a few other issues that needed attention. My only regret is not running into his place sooner. Keep up the good work Matt!!!

He wasn't a man of his word. He quoted me on an AC repair of $350-$450, after running his diagnostic check. He ended up charging me $673.85 and never fixed my AC. I had my family with me, so I didn't want any problems. He got belligerent with me for disagreeing with the service rendered. He said he gets a lot of good reviews and that ppl like me come and go. I'm actually someone who believes in doing good business, both ways.. and Matt.. he's not someone who handles business in a good way. He does not take debit, credit, or anything plastic. He'll brag about how he is the best, and you'll actually feel confident about his work. He is long-winded, and talks methodical mechanic talk knowing that you are not an expertise in this subject to lull you away from getting to the point. He wasn't professional and truly treated me as one of a hundred who don't really matter because he has ninety-nine others left. He cheated me, and I dont believe in talking negative abt anyone. I hope maybe an honest review will help the reader understand that Matt knew better, but he didn't act on what him and I both knew was right: and unless his heart changes, his smooth talk will never change how he views customers. I learned a lot from this experience. It wasn't good. But it was good for me to go through it.

We have been using Matt for 25 years and every single car we have owned to fix our AC. From a 1989 Lincoln Towncar to a 2013 Hyundai Sonata to a Chevy Suburban, he will make your AC blow ice-cold air. I have never been disappointed by him and he ALWAYS fixes it. I recommend him highly.

One of a kind! A lot are quick to say they are a mechanic, but not many know what they are actually doing. Made my A/C cold again, fixed a hose leak and identified other issues I would've never known about. Reasonable and trustworthy!

It must be a one man operation as I did call and was abruptly interrupted and was asked to call back and leave my question on his voice mail because he was too busy to answer any questions. So, needless to say I never called back or pursued hi services. Oh well, I'm sure there's another air conditioning service out there .

I went to Matt s with the intention to get my AC repaired. Unfortunately, he was rude and disrespectful. He acted like I was bothering him with my business, so I left and didn t give him my business. If you re reading this, I would think twice before taking your business there.

Had to take my Jeep more than once to get fixed! A.C. will work for a while then mess up. I don't recommend this place at all! Seriously! It like they milk their clients!

I called and asked for a quote on my ac fix. I told him it was a Prius. He then told me " is that one of them hybrids? I don't touch them!" And hung up on me.
