Marshall Motors has been my mechanic for the years that I have owned Lexus automobiles. They are the top of the line, knowledgeable and skillful. I just bought a used Lexus and relied on them to give it the once over before I put my money down. Thom Marshall has been doing this for a long time, and he knows what he is doing.

It is indeed a rarity to find an automobile repair shop that excels in honesty, technical expertise as well as a willingness to go far above and beyond the normal scope of customer service. I have found such an organization in Marshall Motors.I was visiting from Austin for a short period of time. Sadly, my cherry 1995 BMW 525i would not start one morning. I was referred by another shop to speak with Mark, the Service Manager at Marshall Motors. From the moment I spoke with Mark on the phone, I could tell that this place was special as he patiently listened to all of my concerns.Thankfully they were able to see me in short order and Mark assigned my car to an amazingly thorough and knowledgeable mechanic, Richard, who specializes in older cars . In very short order, Richard had correctly diagnosed a rather obscure problem and was hard at work correcting the situation.I was further surprised by their unflinching willingness to stay after hours to complete the task so that I would be able complete my business affairs in Dallas. It was not like I was a longtime client of theirs.As the work was nearing completion, I told them that if I lived in Dallas, they would certainly get all of my future business they are that good!I do not normally write testimonials, but I felt that they well deserved a heartfelt shout out. So here is a hardy thank you and job well done to Mark, Richard and the entire staff at Marshall Motors!!

I can't express enough appreciation to January for her help and up front honesty. They took my car in quickly and had me answers before the end of the day. It did take two days to get all the repairs done, but its never run or driven better. I give them 5 stars for their friendliness and honesty. They even delivered it fixed, washed, and they delivered it! Thanks January, Mark and everyone at Marshall Motors very happy!!

Marshall Motors is the best! My troublesome old truck has had so many overlapping problems that my former shop finally shrugged their shoulders and blamed my tires! Thom patiently went through everything on my truck, isolated a myriad of needed repairs and tightening and adjustments other shops don't even look for. Steadily I have been renewing my high-mileage old steed and it keeps getting better, almost done. Thom has a thoroughness with the knowledge and experience of what to look for, how to track down elusive issues, and get them resolved. He doesn't gouge your pockets either, I find him honest and reasonable. I won't go anywhere else unless I'm out of town. This is old-fashioned quality you seldom find anyone even cares about, let alone delivers as does Marshall Motors.

As soon as I purchased my 1991 S-Class I started searching for a good local mechanic. I found Marshall Motors and figured I'd try them out. First thing I did was get a full inspection of the vehicle. I was very pleased with the fact that they provided me a complete and detailed document of all their findings so that I could plan out my visits or even do some things myself. So far they've been able to do any repair or maintenance I've needed quickly and for what I consider to be a fair price. I'm very happy with everything. Their expertise in these older cars makes troubleshooting with them very easy. They not only can diagnose quickly, they also have a sixth sense about what is likely to need attention in the near future. Another great convenience that I never expected from my local mechanic was the shuttle service which makes getting my car worked on extremely convenient. They are like the Goldilocks mechanic: big enough to know what they're doing but small enough that I feel comfortable. Overall I've been a very happy customer and have nothing that I can nitpick.

I'm the first to admit that I don't help the female stereotype that, "women just don't know a darn thing about cars". Most auto shops make me feel uncomfortable and I'm always worried that I'm being taken advantage of, but not at Marshall Motors. They are honest, reliable, and have fabulous customer service. I feel like they're family (the kind you can trust!) and I always know my Mercedes and Volkswagon are being serviced to perfection and my pocketbook is not being robbed. So, while I may not know much about my car, I do know that Marshall Motors is there for me so I don't have to worry!

I've been going to Marshall Motors for over a decade. Their mechanics go to Germany to get certified by Mercedes, BMW and Audi. They attain the same certifications as the mechanics at the dealerships, yet Marshall Motors charges much less for services.Foreign cars are expensive to maintain, so buying them used or driving them while out of warranty is a risky endeavor UNLESS you have a great, honest mechanic. Marshall Motors is that mechanic. They have saved me thousands of dollars over the years. I have recommended them to dozens of friends and family.

Vince Willis is the nicest man I've dealt with at any repair facility ive done business with. Marshall Auto was recommended to me by a friend who has their car maintained by them for years and is very happy with their service. I was greeted by Mr. Vince Willis , He and the other employees I came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. When the repair was finished (before it was promised) my repair bill came in lower than estimated, which was a huge relief. I will certainly return for all my service needs and certainly tell friends where they need to go for first class service.. Thank you Vince Willis for making me a customer as long as I can drive!!!!! The Marshall Family certainly know how to hire the right people ..Thanks again

Paid him $500 to break my car, tell me it's worthless and that I should give it to him.He recommended replacing a fuel injector, I then get a call a few days later saying he can't put the engine back together after replacing the fuel injector because "it's like a swiss watch" (Although that's funny since he later said he could "if (I) had a whole lotta money laying around" probably to buy back the parts he scrapped from my engine. (Speculation)He told that my car was worthless (1975 Mercedes-Benz) and that I should scrap it, and that he would be happy to handle the scrapping free of charge.I don't understand how this could be anything other than foul play, I have a 1982 Merc 300D as well and I took it to my father and he was able to replace the fuel injectors with nothing more than tools he bought from Harbor Freight, so you would think that an independent full service auto shop specializing in classic german cars would be able to better than a hobbyist.From my experience with him, the only possible conclusions I can reach are that Marshall Motors is either a malicious chop shop or just grossly incompetent.Either way he does not deserve your business.Service: Engine repair

Fantastic experience. I had randomly called Marshall Motors when my car broke down on the Interstate. January Marshall had me towed, had it looked at by an experienced Audi technician and out the door under 2 hrs. They did not try to sell me something I did not need. Will be back with both my cars!!

I recently took my car to Marshall Motors because I was tired of going to the "kwik" oil change places because I always felt like they were trying to upsell me and not worried about actually taking care of my vehicle. When my car was at Marshall Motors they did a full inspection of the vehicle and let me know what needed to be done immediately and what I could expect in the next few months so that it wasn't a surprise. Truly great customer service above and beyond what I have experienced at any other shop.

The team had a wonderful attitude and were very knowledgeable. After a 1,300 roadtrip my brakes began squeaking two days before I was to drive back to MD. They were the only place open and willing to take me last minute July 3.My rear brakes were replaced, the parts were $235 and labor was $530. My military discount earned me 10% off. After a discussion about the labor costs I was given another 5% off. I received my vehicle the same day. After driving my car for one day the brakes were not as sensitive as they used to be. I now have to press the brake nearly to the carpet to begin to slow down.

I loved how straightforward and transparent the staff here was. I had a check engine light show up on my 2004 BMW and called 8-9 shops around Dallas. Amongst them, this place (spoke with Vince) was the only that took the time to explain to me what the underlying problems could be, even before I brought it in. They walked me through the way they approach these repairs and even gave me recommendations for simple fixes I could try first, even if it meant losing my business. I got the impression they would've been happy to send me down the road if all I needed was a simple fix (rather than embellish small problems) and that was consistent with the seemingly good customer loyalty and positive reviews they've gotten on Google. Lastly, it really made my life convenient that they had a shuttle service to both drop-off and pick me up while my car was in the shop. They gave me a 2-hour estimate to diagnose my car but actually finished ahead of time and I ended up paying less. Would definitely go back again.

I took my Audi there and received great service,price and unbelievable customer service through Marshall Motors. Being new to the area a quick google search brought me to them and will continue to bring me to them as their service and trust is unparalleled. Highly Recommended!!!

I love this place. They go out of their way to take care of their customers, which is a rarity when dealing with car repair shops. I, too, am a prime example of a woman that knows nil about my Audi, but this is the one shop where I don't feel the need to get a second opinion. Thanks Marshall Motors! Karma +1

It was a good experience, i purchased a great deal on groupon & took my car into be serviced. Although it did take all day (& i waited there because it's so far from my house in plano) the chocolate candies on the counter made it much sweeter. I liked the fact that before i left the service manager took me into the garage & showed me exactly what needed to be done w/ my car.I will be back.

I needed auto repair work done on my Mercedes Benz C280,I looked around for an Independent mechanic shop, (not a dealership)The car ran great at high speeds, but had a rough idle at stops andlow speed driving...I drive by Marshall Motors every day on my wayto work I35E/off of Royal....So I bring the car to them and I ask for a diagnostic check be doneon the car to determine the cause of the rough idle...I was quoted$110.00, and that there was no discount, (despite their website stating$45.00 off first time customers) and that none of it would not applytowards the repair, I'm also told it would be several hours to getthis done....so I'm give a lift home and I waited....several hourslater I was called and told that they were not sure what was wrongwith the car and that I needed to have a compression test performedon all 6 cylinders (at a cost of $186.00), and that there was aknocking/rattling sound coming from the timing chain area, to fix thisnoise it would be approximately another 4-600.00 dollars more .....and thatthis would not guaranty that the bad idle would be fixed.....I got veryupset and told them to button up the car and not perform the work...thatwould be there in a few....It took me 30-45 minutes to get there and thecar was still in the shop bay area and not out yet so I waited and themanager/owner? told me they could not ever give a guaranty on auto repairs....I paid the $110.00 and left.....two days latter I took the car to "Auto Hans Inc.",and had them do the auto diagnostic test, and Alex tells me that he is not surewhat is causing the bad idle, but said he performed a temporary fix and that Icould continue to drive the car as it is or leave it with him to give a betterevaluation and possibly repair it. I decided to drove it home and it was 80%better but not 100% fixed (oh by the way Auto Hans Inc. did not charge a dimefor the temp. fix) The next day I took it back and left it with Alex to repair.I was called 2 days latter and Alex said it was the ECU that needed to be replacedand Quoted me $761.00 out the door tax/labor/guaranty 100.00% fixed...So far the car is running great and there is nothing wrong with the timingchain nor with any compression in any of the cylinders....As far as I'mconcerned MARSHALL MOTORS are scam artists, could not even diagnose theproblem and were just guessing at what was wrong with my car.....I DO NOT RECOMMEND MARSHALL MOTORS TO ANYONE!!!!!

This shop does quality work, trustworthy and charge resonable prices. repairs were done in a timely fashion and the owners appreciate their customers. After bad a couple of bad experiences with other places they have earned my trust and will be using them for future repairs.
