Been taking my vehicles here for years. These guys do great, honest work. Dealership told me my brakes needed replacement and came here for second opinion. Randy told me I had another 5-10k miles of wear left! Ethical business owners are harder to come by these days, so this place is worth its weight in gold.

I can't say how pleased I am with the service I received from this establishment. They have a customer for life now! I had an ongoing issue with a locked parking brake following a minor repair from Caliber (don't got there!). I took my car to Freeman Mazda to have them look at it and they quoted me over $2500. The invoice showed they wanted to replace the entire parking brake system. When I asked what the problem was they said they don't do specific diagnostics, they just replace everything!In a fit of desperation, I took it here and lo and behold it was one bad part that they replaced for $350. I am so relieved. These guys are honest and do good work. It's been over a month since I got my car back and no problems. I will absolutely continue taking my car here.

Met my friend in Dallas for Market but my vehicle started making crazy noises upon arrival so this grandma knew I was up a creek being 4 hrs from home. Love Field Auto came up on the search closest to me with the highest review ratings so I felt confident & hopeful they'd be able to figure out what was wrong, a wheel bearing, plus a couple other issues. They txd when it got diagnosed & then again txd when repairs completed and ready for pickup the very next day. We were able to enjoy our visit as well as get my car fixed. They definitely helped my stress traveling & having a breakdown. Randy was so professional & courteous too!

Called about getting all my brakes and rotors done as well as an oil change. I was given an estimate and told to bring my car in early so they could try to have me out of there by noon.When I got there I said I d be in their waiting area, to which I was told that the car most likely wasn t going to be done until 4 in the evening. I asked the old man at the desk if he was the one I talked to on the phone, he said yea I told you it was going to be all day right? To which I replied, no I was told the afternoon and he responded with ya 4 o clock. I just moved out here to Texas, so I don t have anyone that could ve given me a ride or picked me up, so that would ve been nice to know.After some time I was told the front was good but my aft rotors and brakes were shot. The price for that alone was a few $100 more than the estimate for all of them. Not sure if that included the oil change.I had already been there for about 45 minutes so at that point before they started doing work. I asked if they could just order the parts for me and if we could reschedule so I wouldn t have to sit there all day to which they said no because they didn t want to sit on parts.Probably would ve started taking my car here. But after giving me a wrong estimate, being untrue with the time it would take to get the job done and not willing to help me out so I wouldn t have to sit at the shop all day, I m all set. I m a mechanic as well but I wanted the convenience of not having to change them myself, so I ll just get the parts and do it. Thanks anyways though

Honest and trustworthy, words that are rare in this area of business. History of five vehicles over many years of experience with these guys without disappointment. Reliable service. No undesireable pressure to do more than needed. Highly recommend.

I called Randy because of the reviews and asked if I could pay him just to inspect and evaluate my 2014 Range Rover Sport as I was not sure how much I wanted to invest in the car. I called Randy after the dealer recommended literally pages of work in total costing as much as the care is worth. A few of these items recommended were listed as 'critical' but one repair in particular made no sense which made me suspicious of the whole estimate.The morning of my appointment, I sat in Randy's small but comfortable waiting area for 90 minutes as Randy's team evaluated my car. I had the unexpected benefit of observing the consistent stream of repeat customer's coming in to drop off their cars and watch how Randy dealt with each of them. It was quickly apparent that Randy's whole business is built on treating people fairly and the repeat business that comes from customer loyalty.......and then, 90 minutes later, Randy came in to the waiting area and said, 'we're done, you're good to go". I said 'great, what are the things that need to be done?', his answer 'nothing, it's a 10 year old car showing normal wear and tear but nothing that he would recommend 'today''.I questioned him based on the recommendations from the dealer, thanked him for the inspection, and after a little awkward silence, asked him how much I owed him for his time on the inspection.....his answer 'nothing, we evaluate cars all the time and get paid when we repair something, you're good to go.....please come back when you do need something'.By the way, the Dealer charged me $229 for the commission biased 'inspection' recommending 5 figures in repairs.

Took my vehicle in for shocks and struts to be replaced and for a power steering issue to be addressed, and decided to get an oil change because it was about time for one. He kept my car for three days and all they did was the oil change and my power steering is still messed up and the shocks and struts are still in need of replacement. Wasted my time. YMMV, but I would avoid this place at all costs.

The only mechanic I trust in Dallas. Have visited multiple times over the past couple of years when others were trying to charge me a ton for alleged issues; but when I took it to Love Field Auto for a second opinion, the issue always turned out to be something completely minute, and they tweaked it back to good as new for no charge. Saved me a ton. Will DEFINITELY be using them whenever I wind up having a serious issue because I can trust that they re not going to lie to me and try to get all extra on me.

I recently took my car in because my check engine light turned on. I have tried other Auto Repair businesses and none of them can compare to Randy and his staff. I have been a customer now for 9 years, only take my car for oil changes somewhere else and I recently found out that what I have been told by them has been completely wrong. I have been using Love Field Auto for about 10 years. I have a 1997 Land Cruiser that needs the occasional TLC provided by Randy and his team. I had a leak and suspension problem and LFA diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a reasonable time and price. This is not always an easy task with my aging vehicle. The shop is very good at scheduling the work and estimating the time and effort to fix the problems. They warranty and stand by their service, and will work with you until you are satisfied. I will continue to use Randy for scheduled and unscheduled work. He will probably turn my SUV into a new vehicle one part at a time over the next few years. I love my old LC and trust it to be maintained and fixed by Love Field Auto.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Love Field Auto is the only place I will take my vehicles. For this specific visit, I had previously had warranty work done at a dealership and the dealership told me the brakes "were dangerously in need of replacement". I declined the dealerships offer to fix them and took them to Love Field Auto. Within minutes I received a call to tell me the brakes were nowhere close to needing replacement. That's the integrity this company shows and I trust that when they say something needs to be worked on, then it really does. After getting terrible estimates from the dealership, they fixed the car in one week and is now driving smoothly without any coolant leaking. There is a minor body shop repair to be done caused by this terrible dip near the tollway. They recommend Harvey s Collision Center. Anyways the BMW i3 is now driving. Great shop.

My car overheated at passenger pickup at Love Field on a typical hot Dallas day . City towed me to Uber lot where my Allstate Motor Club rescued me . I just went with the closest shop with good reviews. It was no mistake. The owner IS the greeter and manager . Shop immaculate. Obviously why they are busy busy . They could have told me anything and I would have spent thousands on my little VW that had just been inspected. I came back the following Wed after they checked it out . They could find nothing wrong with it . No charge. I know I have a trusted source to turn to should I ever be in East Dallas again . This is why I pay Uber to pay the price with a driver tip to and from Love Field ! Cheers to Love Field Auto !!!

We ve been using Love Field Auto for both of our vehicles and have been very pleased. Reasonable pricing, prompt communication, and fast turn-around time in the shop. Without pretense or frills, provides quality, affordable, and reliable car repair, most recently, for an ignition issues with a 2011 Mercedes. Only did what was necessary. Pretty convenient, on the far side of Love Field. Quick turn-around, good back-and-for communication throughout. What's not to like? Our go-to place.3/5/23 Update: completed three separate annual oil changes, with synthetic oil, filters, etc. Prompt and reasonable service.

Coming from a small town, I knew my mechanic or did it myself my entire life. I moved to Dallas and how do you even start to look for a trustworthy mechanic? I was sure I needed some hoses replaced on my truck and possibly some more work.Got a call after dropping my vehicle off and I didn't need anything. They changed my oil and did even charge me for testing my coolant system. Will absolutely return and send others.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Hello Owner, I had the white 1997 Honda wagon which you worked on 1/2 dozen times. Overcharged for your work. Never resolved issues on the vehicle. Stand-by my original review. Even with Warranty Protection Plus this service center would not replace purchased parts from defects. Returned my car 3 times and was told blows cold just fine even though it never did when I picked up the car each time? I was recommended here by a neighbor who said they did really great A/C work in the dead of summer when your A/C is out. I had a little more minor but urgent work done.Ok, the shop itself is very claustrophobic especially since most will have to sit and wait a long time because he continues to let cars pile up instead of just telling people he can't get to it that day and bring it back another day.Many of us can't leave our cars there with him for nights on end as it's out only form of transportation.As such, the ventilation was poor. I have respiratory issues and had to get up and get fresh air as I waited and waited, something that I never have to do at other repair shops.I had an appt and still had to wait. He told me it would be xy amount of hours, but it ended up being a lot less than that. I think if you stay with your car they tend to work on it faster than if you leave it there it will just sit as he takes in and services all those oil changes that comes in so much later than you, just to get that extra hustle going.I find his prices are not competitive. When I called around, he costed more than most that I called. The repair that I needed was asap, I didn't have time to call around before but only after on a hunch.He is semi-friendly, kind of looks at you funny at first, but I guess he warms to you a bit as you are sitting there patiently. I'm not sure I would use him again. I can go to Firestone for quicker service, because his prices are similar to theirs.
