If you ever have any alignment, steering, or suspension issues, I highly recommend you bring your tractor to Jay, Phil, and Alex at Longhorn Alignment. I've got a 2022 Peterbilt 389 with just under 100k miles on it and have always had alignment issues along with uneven wearing of the steer tire, specifically on the drive side. A previous shop did an alignment but the problem was not fixed. An authorized Peterbilt service center in the Dallas area recommended Longhorn and I'm glad I brought my truck there. The alignment issue is finally addressed and I'll report back with an update later on with how my steers are wearing. Jay even said I could bring my tractor back in after 30k miles for a free checkup to see if the alignment is holding up and, if it isn't, they would adjust it for free.

Professional and detailed work, they fixed what a bargain shop messed up. Earned my business for now on you might pay a little extra but it's done right the first time and quickly.Good shop don't hesitate if you want it done right.

I could not be happier with the work completed by Alex and his team at Long Horn Alignment. Two of my heavy haul trucks required some major work; I had a mechanic that wasn't keeping up with the upkeep of the trucks as they came in to our shop. Alex and his team came in for the SAVE! While I had to bite the bullet and keep the trucks in the shop for two weeks, I got back basically a brand new truck. Long Horn took their time to get it right. They didn't just slam in some cheap part they found that might be right. They installed quality parts that are going to last me. I never felt like Alex was trying to get one over on me and he kept me updated with my repairs as they happened. I've never had a repair shop take the care Alex did and it as overall refreshing. I may never hire a mechanic again! In addition to the quality work, the price of repair and maintenance wasn't near what it would have cost me to go to KW or Rush. I look forward to working with Alex and his crew again; when I send my trucks to him, I'm getting the best quality care he can provide. My driver is happy with his truck, which makes my life easier and we are able to stay on the road. Took my truck there for an alignment and instead of ripping me off Jay told me what I needed to get done before an alignment instead off doing an alignment in vain. They got it done in a timely manner and did a few extra touch ups I didn't ask for but in a good way, showed me old parts that came off the truck. Work was clean not sloppy or thrown on any kind of way but correctly. Everything I needed!

Took one of my work trucks (F350 2WD Dully) in for an alignment. Technicians initial recommendations were that the complete front-end component set tie rod ends, draglink, radius arm bushings etc. Be replaced. No problem. Got it done.This visual inspection took about 30 minutes at a price of $50.00 dollars.The following week I returned to resume the repair. Given all that was recommended, I was ready for the adjustment.The adjustment took a couple of hours (this was a toe adjustment only), remember all component parts had been replaced.The final tally a $25.00 dollar camber bushing, and a couple of hours to adjust toe, left me with small pocket change from an almost $400.00 dollar charge!After leaving I made my way down Mockingbird Ln. headed toward I35.the truck is all over the road!The oversteer was enough to make merging onto the freeway risky!Given the amount of time and money invested needless to say I was a little upset!Given they were closing it was too late to return to point out the complaint. I continued the trip home via side roads.I have been a professional shopkeeper for 30 years. I am not new to vehicular mechanics. I am not criticizing the [2] technician(s) who performed the work. The errors could have been due to a poorly calibrated set-up with the alignment rig, I do not know.A couple of days later I found the time to revisit the truck. What I saw was something you would expect from a couple of high school kids in shop class! The toe on the passenger side was visibly excessive (this explains the oversteer). A trip down a nearby sideroad required (effort) to keep the truck study.To track straight, the steering wheel spoke had to be held at a 15-25 degree off true rotational angle.So, you might be asking yourself, why not return the truck to voice my concerns?I think that would be pointless. Based on my experience, I have no reason to believe that a return visit would render a more favorable outcome.Prior to my departure, the technician mentioned something about I may have to give it some time to [settle in]. This comment made no sense relative to the type of work performed. Concrete work Yes/maybe, but there is no settling in process related to front-end adjustments.This shop was a Google address find. They did not come with a recommendation from anyone that I know. My experience was not favorable . . . Yours may be different!

This place is highly recommended. Alex the owner did a wonderful job getting me in and taken care of swiftly. He was very manner-able and great guy all around. If I could give 10 stars I would. We will definitely be back for all our truck service needs. Thank you

Excellent!!!Owner Alex is a driver himself, so his professionalism is unquestionable.Shop is very clean and nice inside. I had a chance to get the truck checked up in their place after not visiting here for few years ago. They have a new ownership.My truck is runs good and no complaints.They have found a few things that have to be taken care off in my front suspension. They have showed me and explained me all the repair needed. Didn t do the repair due to trailer already load and have to go.But They are absolutely professional and friendly.Highly recommend to get your truck check here.Thank you.

Mr. ALEX and He's team did a Great Job on my Truck they stay extra time to make sure is was 100% on spot I's been a Month sense I got my alightment done the truck has been solid . To My fellow Driver please understand these like back surgery to your truck is a process and is not cheap . you will have to be patient with Alex and he's team . It takes time to do the Job Wright.It is worth it . In the long Run. Will definitely be back .

I was told on the phone the prior day to get there early so I get serviced 1st so I got there at 0700. A car arrives at 0800, sits in car for about 20 minutes. I approached him at 8:30am (time they open). He tells me h is gonna eat that I should wait in my truck until his other guy arrives. It is 0900 and I decided to go to Southern Tire Mart where I was received in a warm lobby with coffee.What a sad and pathetic way of running a business, I hope the owner of this place reads this review and does something about it.

Just got my truck back after kingpins repair and 3 axle alignment. These guys are the best in the business. Will definitely keep coming back.

This is the ONLY place I take my trucks for an alignment. They consistently do excellent work and make you feel welcome and at home also. I've been a customer for 4 or 5 years now and I just found out on my last visit that the owner of the shop has his own trucks and is a driver himself. This explains why they're so thorough in their whole process.They look over everything on your truck to find anything that could throw the alignment off before they even do the alignment. The bearings were bad in my driver's side steer axle and they showed me the freeplay in the wheel. I got new bearings for that side, got aligned, test drive and then ready to go. Simply put, if you want your alignment done right then this is the spot.

One if the best place to get your truck aligned! You can't beat the service!They also do quite a few other services at a price you wouldn't go to a TA or Dealer for!10/10 will be coming back to get my truck serviced.

Approximately 3 months after alignment. New tires. Thrust axle way out of alignment, steer axle toed-in. They're a rip-off business since new owner a couple of years ago. 40 years is 38 years old owner. Spent 3 days in shop, plus charged over $7000.00. Replaced parts that were nothing wrong with them.

*** Attention Habeshas****Owner operators,Everyone!Went to get a 3 axle alignment + balance on my steer tires today. 8/7/23.Acted green as I always do at new shops to see how far they push it.Was told, by the owner I believe, that I needed a new drag link / bushins/ tie rod/ among other related things..... for all 3 axles.Little did he know, I replaced all of that less than a year ago and still have the receipts. I told him I just bought the truck and it's my first and I don't know much of anything. The truck has sat for 7 months. I ran less than 5 months after those repairs.Got charged $163 for grease + "diagnostics". He also refused to do the alignment bc "it'll make things worse".He gave me an estimate is $7,000!!!!!!!SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!INSANE!Still, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the work I had done was shotty.I went to TA. The parts that were really bad according to this guy were perfectly fine per TA. My truck was aligned and balance my steers and all is well.I don't recommend this place to anybody, def won't ever return!

This place is out of this world amazing. Customer service is top notch with experienced mechanics. Not only did they tell me what had to be replaced but took the time to show me and explain in great detail. Also, we were given an itemized estimate and bill explaining each part and labor cost. Owner and his staff understand the truckers need of getting back on the road promptly. Longhorn Alignment has gained my trust and business. I would highly recommend them! This company goes above and beyond!!

UNTRUSWORTHY COMPANY....STAY AWAYI find it interesting that this company tried to discredit the another person that reviewed them, however i had an extremely similar experience.With how difficult it is to survive for owner operators currently, it is a bit disheartening that a business would attempt to scam us out of our hard earned money.I took my truck here to get an alignment. They informed me that there were several issues that needed to be resolved before getting the alignment. I took the truck to 2 other shops to have them check for the items that this shop said needed to be replaced. Both of the other shops said that these parts were not worn. Had i gone on Longhorns word, these repairs would have cost over $4000, which it ultimately ended up costing me anyways. This cost me 5 day in other shops and money to check a problem that did not exist. I will be hiring an attorney and providing evidence that this problem did not exist in order to recoup the losses. I have written testimony from both shops, one of which took things apart to confirm the parts were not bad, stating that these parts did not need to be replaced.This seems to be a common theme in the reviews i see, if you have had a similar experience, feel free to find me, it's time to stop these people!(reply to their comment) They spent 10 mins under the truck with a pad and paper to tell us what was wrong. They DID NOT show us anything, this is untrue, another sign of lack of integrity.

It took me FOREVER to find a place willing to work on a hotshot dually in dallas so I was referred to LONGHORN ALIGNMENT & DIESEL REPAIRS from Discount TireLet me tell you that the service I received was 5 Stars and most shops aren t hotshot dually friendly.I mean they jacked the dually up and showed me EVERYTHING wrong and they ordered all the right parts swiftly and had me all smilesLastly their great workers Jay & Alex OMG they got my F350 dually handled and she is back like new and their so trucker friendly and have great attitudes u like most shops I have been toIf your near dallas and have a diesel truck DONT HESITATE TO CALL LONGHORN ALIGNMENT & DIESEL REPAIRSSINCERELY,Dedicated & Responsible Transport LLCService: Steering & suspension repair

Brought the truck in to be looked at bc of irregular tire wear that was beginning to set in on one side. Had them do a 3 axle alignment and center the steering wheel. I was in and out faster than I had anticipated and the work was completed quickly once the truck was on the alignment rack. It's been a few days and a couple 1000 miles and the truck is driving better than ever and tire wear seems to be in check. Good shop would highly recommend if in the DFW area.

Took a long time to get my truck in for alignment because I got there a little later in the morning (this location is FCFS) but once I was in Alex (owner) and Jay were pretty quick on getting my truck aligned and it drives much more smoothly and they straightened my steering wheel (it was about 25� clockwise).Not only did they do an excellent job on my alignment but Alex showed me some parts on my truck that should be good for a long time and explained how some of the mechanics of the parts worked. He also showed me a torque arm that needed replacing. Jay pointed out that I had an oil leak and suggested having the engine cleaned to try to locate it.After all that, Alex tried to help me install a couple of new mud flap holders. Unfortunately, the bolts were wider than what my truck could accommodate but the help was much appreciated and Alex said I could come back and he'd help installing a set that was sized right so long as I called ahead to see if they were busy.Every time I get the choice of where I get an alignment done, I will absolutely return here.

First thing that impressed me was his knowledge and explanation for what was wrong and what needed repairing/replacing. He doesn't rush you into anything, instead gives you the info to make an informed decision. He does what he says and doesn't give excuses. Our Pete needed new suspension/steering parts and an alignment and it now drives and rides like new. Will definitely be coming back for future repairs on our trucks. They are not professional, they don t know nothing about trucks, I took my truck for alignment after checking my truck they told me I have to do these in order to get my truck alignment done .I took my truck to two more places for checking, they checked it for free nothing was wrong with it. Went to get a diagnostic on my truck. The owner was super nice, mechanic and receptionist were also great. They do great work, i would recommend this place for your alignment needs and small repairs. Prices are way reasonable.Great place .
