Trustworthy, family owned mechanic. They are upfront about the work that needs to be done and transparent about prices. I ve been happy with the work that I ve needed on my car. They communicate consistently about progress.

My family has been going to this shop for 15+ years. I recently went in to have my car looked at and received the best customer service, swift communication from employees, and amazing service done on my car. Josh specifically went above and beyond in his communication with me and working out a plan for my car. I will continue to frequent this auto shop.

I ve gone to Lake Highlands for nearly a decade now, and these guys are the only shop I ll go to for my car. They always accurately identify the issue, they always charge you exactly what they say it s going to cost and never a penny more by surprise, and they almost always finish the work on the same day. I m always impressed by their professionalism and honesty. Everything you want from a mechanic. Five stars out of five any day of the week.

I've taken my car there several times for repair and Josh Smiddy has always been on top of his game. He's friendly, honest, thorough and is excellent in explaining the issues. I will definitely use Josh in the future for any issues that I might have with my car and I have referred several friends his way. Great automotive shop!

Adam and his team are absolutely stellar. I will never take my current or future cars anywhere else! I have a very old Kia that had a laundry list of issues and they were able to pin point each one and fix each one for a good price. Last time I swung by they even talked through new car options and common issues they see with the vehicles I was thinking about. Definitely appreciate their honesty and overall customer service!

I took my car in because I thought it needed a tire alignment, however, it just needed the tires to be rotated. Also, because at the dealership place I was told it needed the engine belt to be replaced. Adam, was able to get me in very quickly. I Encountered ZERO issues with them. After his team checked my car it only needed the tires to be rotated. Got an oil and filter change as well. My car doesn t shake anymore and is driving normal again. Very affordable. Very professional. I was referred to them by a costumer of theirs that highly recommended them. Now, I m recommending you to them . I've been to many mechanic shops to get my vehicles worked on and they cannot compete with Lake Highland Automotive. Very professional and have values which is hard to come by these days. I personally only deal with Josh because he will take care of you as a customer should be taken care of.

I came in today in a panic because my right wheel was making a loud clunking noise and I had just driven to Dallas from Chicago the day before and needed to have it checked out ASAP before we drove home. I was blown away by the professionalism of this body shop. I was concerned about going to a mechanic that I didn't know but they put me completely at ease and found the issue and they were also able to fix it that day and give me photos to show my mechanic when I got home. Was referred to them to have an Egr valve put on because I ve already had it diagnosed. Attitude was dry, man told me that they he don t trust referrals from the other shop, will run a diagnostic for $160, they don t use outside parts(which I already have the valve) & couldn t get to my car til the middle of next week. One thing in my experience when it come to car repair is knowing when someone is trying to rip me off.

I was so impressed with my visit to Lake Highlands Automotive! My car was making a strange noise and when I called to check availability, they told me to bring my car in that afternoon. After a test drive, one of the employees easily and quickly identified the problem. It was fixed within 10 minutes and I was good to go! The kindness, knowledge of cars, and care for customers was just what I needed to turn my Manic Monday around.

These guys are actual mechanics, not just part swappers. I had an issue with my 2016 Nissan Rogue, after two weeks of run around and excuses, the dealership said the only fix was to replace the TCM, ECM, and wiring harness. ($5,500) I spoke with Adam and shared my story he said to bring it in and they would trouble shoot it and get me taken care of. It took them two days to find the issue and a couple more to get the part in and work done. ($600). Thank you so much for your professionalism and service! I will recommend Lake Highlands Automotive to anyone who will listen!

These guys took great care of me and my car and for a great price!!! They were very fair and honest about what needed taken care of my car and unlike other places I have been, they didn t try and upsale me on a whole bunch of unnecessary services that I didn t need at the time. I will definitely be returning as well as recommend them to anyone else having car troubles!! (PS, I called around several places and they also had the best price I came across for the diagnostic test!!)Thanks again guys for helping me get back on the road safe!

They filled all my tires with air, found 3 things wrong with my tires & gave me great advice, all for no charge. They have friendly & helpful guys there. Highly recommend!!

I had taken my Honda into a different dealership that s quoted me $1200 worth of repairs. Then, I was referred to Lake Highlands Automotive. Here they thoroughly inspected my car and determined I did not need many of those repairs I had been told about. There were a few quick easy fixes and I spend 1/4 of the cost that I thought I was going to have to spend. They were quick, very helpful, and honest. I will be going back!

Adam and the team at Lake Highlands Automotive are amazing! Truly a great company with great employees who are phenomenal at what they do. Not only did they repair my vehicle in record time, the price was exactly what they quoted for the repair. Friendly customer service, good ethics and my vehicle is running like new again. Thank you!

I drove to TX from VA and when i got to TX my car started to act funny, this shop is closest to where i stay so i brought my car here and they have a lot of good reviews. They are honest and prompt on communication. I dont trust mechanics easily other than my father but i know i can trust these people. I dont think i'll ever change mechanics from now on until probably i move somewhere very far from them.

My car was making grinding sounds when i stopped behind cars, red lights, etc., so i thought it was time to get my brakes changed. i brought my car in to Lake Highlands Automotive and Josh was on it! he made sure to call with updates frequently and even let me know my brakes were fine, just a little rusted and even checked the ABS system. i asked him if it was safe to drive on them and he say absolutely. he informed me that my battery had an issue and would most likely not last very much longer. i had no idea and that was good to know, so that i might not be stranded anywhere. there was no upselling or ridiculous price gouging! it took less than a few hours to assess, diagnose and treat this issue and i will absolutely be coming back and recommending LHA to anyone who needs car services. thank you, Lake Highlands Automotive!Services: Brakes, Battery

Could not have been more pleased with my experience.Service was outstanding. Work was done & delivered in a timely & courteous manner . The cost of the work was very reasonable as I had gotten several estimates from other shops.Lake Highlands Automotive had been recommended by friends who had positive experiences with them. I would not hesitate to give my recommendation should someone need auto service. JKB

My vehicle had been checked and I received a full report indicating the work to be done. However, my vehicle overheated. Josh assisted me with the report of my vehicle letting me know that all the work reported was important, but gave me the required work to get me safely back on the road. As a female, I feel good about this company and their honesty. This is my second visit and as always received excellent customer service and great results. Thank you Kimberly

I am usually not one to take the time to write a review, but I just had to write one for this place. If I could give this place a rating that is lower than a zero, I definitely would! I took my car here after my check engine light came on some months ago. They stated it was a sensor that needed replacement so I agreed to getting it repaired. I picked up my car, my check engine didn't come back on, I took that as a good sign. It wasn't until recently that my car started acting weird here and there, but my check engine light hadn't come on, so I decided to take it to another mechanic that I was referred to. I came to find that the sensor that had been "replaced" by Lake Highlands Automotive was never actually replaced. This place is a complete RIP OFF! I paid $60 for the sensor they told me they had replaced and they also charged me for a diagnostics fee and labor fee that totaled $150. I ended up paying a little over $200 for a job that was NEVER done. I decided to come to this place because of the good reviews I had read, but I completely regret it. Now my sensor was really replaced, and by half the price of what this place charged me. If you are looking for repairs, stay away from this place unless you want to be ripped off and lied to.

I absolutely adore this place. I never have to worry about being taken advantage of because I'm a single Woman. They are very professional, do excellent work, and have exemplary customer service. Have taken my car here several times and have always had a good experience. I'm not sure they are the "cheapest" place pricewise, but their prices always seem fair and their work is always good. I've always had very honest dealings with them, and my husband now tells me "just take it to Lake Highlands Automotive" whenever there is a problem, because he trusts them too, and knows we won't be given the runaround. Hard to find a decent auto mechanic facility these days, but this is definitely one of them.

They have serviced my vehicles ever since I moved here to the Dallas area. So for 7 years they have been my trusted service/mechanic location. Trustworthy people who are honest. Conveniently located by my place of employment as well. They are thorough and consistent. And their pricing is always top notch.

Excellent customer service and personal attention. As it s a bit far for me to get to, They called for a Lyft ride. Lake Highland Auto are purveyors in honest analysis and not On needless repairs.
