If I could bestow zero stars on this company I would, but here we are at 1 star. I purchased a brand new MTZ- 94R/H7 from Interstate Batteries Of Mid Florida Coast and the battery was dead on arrival. Took the battery back to the distributor and instead of them saying sorry for the inconvenience heres another brand new battery that we've tested to make it right they tell me the need to charge it up to see if it's a bad battery, and this process will take 24 hours. That' wasMonday 2/26/2024 I called today 2/28/2024 and all they could tell me was the manager will call me tomorrow. So I've spent 450 dollars for a bad battery and now a rental car is costing another 100 bucks a day as I wait on them to charge/test this defective product for 4 days. Currently @ 850 dollar total spend for trying to do business with Interstate battery. I hope this company implodes....stay clear.

Very poor warranty both batteries were bad but only warranted the one that had no acid left in it and told me I would have to make a second 100 mile trip to warranty the second or by a new battery at a prorated price of over $130 and then could have the third battery warranted after they tested it. Then they would give it to me after another $130 and 100 mile round trip I'm disabled and don't have the funds to replace a battery that already failed testing and don't need three batteries for my truck. I will buy Wal-mart or auto parts stores batteries for a cheaper cost and easier warranty.

18 month old battery failed and leaked acid on a cable that cost 800 to replace and another $200 for another battery. Shop where purchased said my dead battery was a fluke and couldn t do anything. Submitted copies of receipts for battery purchase and date along with repair cost two months ago to Dallas headquarters as well as shop where purchased . Not even the courtesy of a response. Poor product and zero customer service. Now Jan 9th and still no response.

Batteries failed under warranty and 11912 Spaulding School Drive Plainfield, IL 60585 refused to replace them blaming the truck s alternator. Truck was checked by mechanic and there was no issue with the truck.

Battery 3 months old....Car wouldn't start. After I got it jumped off and took it back to NTB they said the battery was fine. They say it's my car. Called corporate in Texas and they says maybe it's my car. But reviews indicate the same problem with other people and this interstate Battery. You got me this time. Going to get a Auto Zone Battery...

Your warranty sucks, first battery didn't last and was charged half the price of the old battery since you changed the warranty after I bought the first one, second battery has a loose positive post and leaks acid causing corrosion on the battery terminal within days which in turn causes the ecm on my truck to read improperly causing it to run bad. They refuse to replace it simply because it doesn't test bad when in reality it is a defective battery incapable of serving its purpose which is to properly control computers on todays cars. Never again will I purchase or recommend interstate batteries which are overpriced and the warranty is worthless. Walmart has a better warranty and batteries last longer

I bought a brand new battery from interstate in corpus Christi tx. The battery literally last just a few months. Should be no problem. They want to hold on to the battery for a few days slow charging it. So I'm out of my pickup is down till they decide it's bad. I went to interstate because the warranty. Needless to say I will never buy another interstate battery again. O'Riley's is about half price and orielys honors there warranty

Your batteries are trash. Bought a 24F series battery and it's only a couple of months old and is now stuttering whenever I take my foot off the accelerator. This behavior is exactly what I experienced with my battery that was 5 years old and justifiably needed to be replaced. This is not a fuel, air, or spark problem. This is an electric problem from your garbage power supply.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT! If I could rate ZERO STARS, I would! Bought a battery with a 6 year warranty. It lasted about a year. In the process right now of trying to get the battery replaced. Had to drive almost an hour to the location. Once I got there, I was informed that if the batter held a charge, I would be charged a $7.99 CHARGING FEE. When I complained, things went totally down hill. I was offered a temporary replacement battery and the manager took it to my car. On the way back inside the store, the manger INTENTIONALLY hit me with the door! He then attempted to provoke a PHYSICAL CONFRONTATION. I think my wife probably saved his life and mine! #10959 Cypress Creek Parkway Suite F Houston TX 77070

I purchased a new boat and it came with the interstate battery. After 1 yr it stopped working. Call Cabelas and was told to call the interstate battery directly, bad idea. The guy told me he was in Arizona and couldn't help me. This is very bad business. Your battery goes out in 1 year and you refuse to replace it....

I have used interstate batteries in my car as long as I can remember. 1 year ago when I needed 8 deep cycle batteries for my energy storage I bought interstate. People told me I made a mistake. I stood up for interstate. One year later my batteries were junk. Never again. Interstate has lost a lifelong customer by selling a low quality deep cycle battery

If I could rate this company 0 stars I would. I purchased 1 battery that did not last 6 months and neither did the replacement. The customer service rep I spoke with today SAID THE batteries are refurbish and that is why there is no warranty.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THIS ECONO SERIES BATTERY. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Dear Mr. Miller,What you should know about a condescending attitude from your call center and the representative here in Quebec Canada. The most underrated battery producers but also the most unreliable company as well. Three battery changes, enough is enough, all negative responses from your staff, no assistance, no positive feed back. I felt like a beggar asking to acknowledge the 5 year warranty. I spoke to Walmart Canada and they are not pleased with response received and the incredible attitude problem. Shame on you guys, we have 8 trucks on the road with your batteries. Once they go, so will Interstate, Sorry Mr. Miller, they do not represent the motto!!

These batteries are simply the best, especially for the drastic swings in temperature from frigid New England winters and scorching July and August heat. Interstate batteries have never failed me yet. Thank you very much for making a superior product that I have counted on for many cross-country trips in my Jeep. 8v)

My experience with Interstate Batteries is best explained by the attached pictures. The corrosion ate into my ignition cable and completely destroyed it. I had to purchase a brand new cable ($200+) and was stranded for a day waiting for the mechanic to receive it from the dealer. I contacted ISB and outlined everything that happened, hoping to get reimbursed for the cost of the cable. They referred me to their Manufacturer Johnson Controls, who then referred me to their Claims (?) company, Broadspire. Sherrie Ca**re was the representative and, unfortunately, much like a screen door on a submarine, was less than helpful. From Dec 2016 through Feb 2017, I sent several emails with no response. I did get a voicemail from her where she said she would be sending a letter. I never received any letter. I left her a message saying such and a week later sent another email telling her that I hadn't received the letter yet. *crickets* Weeks passed and in an attempt to get some kind of update on the claim, I went to Interstate Batteries website and used its customer service chat function. That's when I found out that my claim had been denied. The ISB chat representative didn't know why and told me that only Broadspire would know. Instead of trying to get a response from Sherrie again, I figured I would drop it and just leave a review. Life will go on, I know. It would have been nice to have gotten some kind of response from Broadspire and would have been nice for ISB to say "Wait. Broadspire is not responding? Well that isn't right! Let us look into this and we'll get back to you with a resolution." It would have been really nice to just be reimbursed for the cost of the cable that was destroyed by their battery. Oh well. Live and learn.

Had a 21 month old battery - it was bad as confirmed by the local Interstate store - would not honor the warranty but offered to sell us a new battery. What is the warranty even for if you can not use it or as a company Interstate will not stand behind it?

This place talked me into buying a crazy expensive jumper pack to jump start a car. I have had interstate tenders and maintainers since the early 90s and since technology has changed so much I thought this would be a good idea. After all they stamp their name in big bold letters on everything they make, so why would they make junk with their name on it? Turns out it's cheap Chinese junk and won't hold a charge after 3 months of use. Called the store back and I was told they quit carrying the enterprise jumper packs and had switched to a different brand called NOGO because theirs aren't as good. I talked to the person for another 20 min and he said they can return it for a store credit towards another one. Ok I'm down for that I said and they ordered another one. I told them I would cover the difference if they would order the bigger heavier duty one since this one crapped out so easily. 2 days later called back and of course the story changed. Now the guy said the store manager wouldn't let him return it without the original receipt. The receipt printed on thermal paper that was no longer legible since it was left in the car. I asked why because they were able to easily look up and see the sale recorded in the computer. He said it's because his manager said no and that was the last word. Well manager let me tell you that when you put your own company name on a product that does a few months later and don't stand behind it the last word gets stamped on the internet. Along with your poor customer service

I worked at an Interstate Battery warehouse...poor management, terrible organization and training. Very religious company to work for, "to glorify god" is one of the main "purposes". They also gave me a study Bible and a book called, "you are second...". It makes me cringe just thinking about it.

Got a motorcycle battery a month a go said it was ready to go put it in and rode 60 miles stopped and got gas wouldn't start had to get a jump rode it back home charged it and my charger kept reading fault so charged another battery my charger worked fine, so I drove 45 miles to OKC they wouldn't replace or give me my money back until they put a full charge on it so they could test said it will take 2 to 3 hours was very rude so now I have to either stay here until they call or drive 45 miles back home would not recommend getting anything from this location 6920 Broadway ext OKC should be zero star's.
