I worked with Michael, Billy, & Walter. They were great. My Prius with 317K miles on it needed it's first new battery and they took care of it so quickly and efficiently. They were professional from the first call. I contacted them in the late afternoon and they had my car in and out the next morning. I would recommend them without reservation!

Excellent service from start to finish! I purchased a Remanufactured Hybrid Battery Pack for my 2008 Prius yesterday.Mason Lindley handled the sale. He was professional, courteous, quick and answered all my questions.Walter Johnson performed the mobile installation. He arrived at my home that afternoon. He performed an initial diagnosis before the install and explained all the trouble codes that the Prius was generating due to the failing hybrid battery. He was professional, courteous and answered all my questions. He was also very quick. The whole installation took less than an hour. Walter encouraged me to test drive my Prius before we settled up. I was elated with the results!Greentec Auto got me up and running in one day! Very happy with this company. I would recommend them to everyone. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

If you are looking to replace your Gen 3 Prius hybrid battery, look no further. Go to Greentec auto. Excellent customer service. Choose the brand-new battery cells with 48 months warranty. I have been using the car with no battery issues for 3 months now, and the performance is factory equivalent. Thank you to Bryan and Walter for the excellent customer service.

We had an excellent experience with Greentech. They replaced a battery the same day and the car is running now. We had the car at another shop. They were not able to repair it so we took it there and they were quick, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we got the car in time for a trip. Thank you so much for your help. Honest, fast, well-priced, and professional. What more could you ask for?Another mechanic said we needed a new hybrid battery for our car, and wanted $5000+ for it to be installed with labor. Greentec sells and installs brand new ones for half that. They also have refurbished ones for less if you need a lower price point.The technician came out to our house (there is a trip fee for that), fully tested and inspected the battery, and told us the battery is fine and that we don't need one. Very much worth the trip fee.If you need a hybrid battery, this is the company to work with! I won't go anywhere else.

I live in Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates. I have a Lexus GS450h which I purchased while I was in the US. The car has 60000 mile. The hybrid battery failed in January this year. The local Lexus dealer refused to fix it at any price . I contacted Lexus USA and Japan with no results. I contacted Greentech Auto and they quote me the new battery as advertised . The shipping to Dubai was about $4000. Overall the cost more than $8 k for the battery. It was a gamble to have the local shop work on the battery and since they have little knowledge of hybrid not to do it right. After many emails and phone calls; Greentech offered to send a technician with the replacement new battery in less than $ 8 k and the technician will stay in Dubai for few days to make sure it is fixed and alright . I took the offer . The battery along with the technician Paul arrived to the shop where my car was. They tested the old battery and ran a full check and even identified another minor problem . They took the old hybrid battery and replaced with new battery cells. The car was in its perfect condition in couple hours.Now I have been driving it for more than a month with no issues at all.I can not thank Greentech auto John and Paul for their outstanding help and professionalism. I would recommend them highly for anyone who even live outside the US . Way to go Greentech

Got the "red triangle of death" on the Prius, got an appointment the same day, tested and confirmed I needed a battery and in little more than an hour I'm on my way home, no triangle. Nice. Went with the brand new battery as opposed to rebuilt, still less $ than Toyota, let you know how it goes. Place is a little hard to find back in an office complex, but look for the bright green sign. Pic added.

Walter from Greentec auto came out and replaced my battery today. The car is working now and the check hybrid light is gone! Thank you very much for a job well done and for your patience Walter! This is a very professional company. I would definitely recommend to work with them. Very good ratings with the BBB as well. Now let's just hope the battery lasts for a long while.

I went here when my Ford Escape Hybrid decided to play possum and got a good value product with good service. Showed up hours late for my appointment and they still immediately went to work when I arrived and got it replaced in 20-30 minutes. This is not a mechanic's shop so I have other things I need to fix and its only been a day but being able to drive at all again feels good.

This is a great company. I called them at 10 am to replace a HV battery for my 2007 Toyota Prius. The tech arrive at my home at 2:30 pm the same day. The tech, Walter Johnson was very professional and friendly. It took about an hour to install and I was rolling again. The prices was reasonable compared to other companies that provide the same service. I would definitely recommend.

My story with Greentec starts a few years back when I thought that my 2008 Toyota Prius with 170K miles was not too far off from needing a new battery. I called and came in the same day. There was no charge to take a look at the car and to my disbelief the battery was fine. I was new to the world of hybrids and the technician was so helpful spending the time to educate me on how the system works and told me not to worry when the time comes for replacement, he would be there for me, but that day was not yet there. At that point my trust was earned. Yesterday I got the dreaded triangle of death on my dashboard and now at 220k I thought "It finally happened, and I know just the guy to replace it". The location of the shop and tech had changed but still so helpful and friendly. This speaks greatly to the quality of person Greentec hires and that my last experience wasn't a one off. Alex, was so on top of things this morning. And again I didn't need a new battery but I did need a new inverter pump. He was able to replace it on the spot while I talked his ear off about the car and the business. I am very grateful for Greentec and one of these days my issue WILL be my battery and Greentec is without a doubt the place for me.

Sunday PM the Christmas tree lit up on the dash. Toyota diagnosed the battery was failing on my 2007 Camry Hybrid at 11:00 AM on a Monday, I called numerous places including Greentec. Green tech go me in at 3:30 and were complete with the battery install by 5:00. John and Seth did a great job, were professional and very informative. Yes, I paid $2200 plus $150 for the install of a NEW battery pack, but it was $5500 at Toyota. the 13 year old Camry was averaging about 26-28 MPG in the last year. The trip home Monday night it got 40 MPG and the battery pack stayed full.4 year warranty was pretty cut and dry. New Wheels, Dash, Brakes, headlights and now batteries including the 12V. Now the car is good for another 160,000 miles.I live in McKinney, Texas and the shop is at 660 International in Richardson, TX

I needed a hybrid battery for my son's 2005 Honda Civic & I found GreenTec Auto by doing a Google search. My first email inquiry was answered with a phone call within minutes. The cost that was quoted was dramatically less expensive than the dealership price for a new hybrid battery. I worked with Dan at the Dallas shop who was extremely helpful. Junior actually came to my office to pick up the Civic once the battery came in. He brought it back to my office within an hour. Everyone that I had any interaction with at GreenTec was very professional, responsive & helpful. Their service was fast & efficient. And I really appreciate that they recycle hybrid batteries. I highly recommend GreenTec!!!

Provided fantastic service. The technician that performed the swap-out of the hybrid batteries was extremely knowledgeable. After the battery was installed and car running, liked that the technician also provided recommended vehicle "punch list" of components/systems recommended to inspect / replace given the miles on vehicle combined with it being parked in my shop for nearly three years. Highly recommend Green TEC to others. Great value compared to the dealership.

If you own a hybrid car I would encourage you to take it here first. They will do a free diagnostic if you bring the car to the shop. The dealer wanted $150. After speaking with John on the phone he agreed the problem was most likely one or both batteries. He gave me an estimate over the phone for parts and labor. Within minutes getting off the phone I received written estimate by email. All I could get out dealership was that I needed make an appointment for the $150 diagnostic. This would apply towards any repairs they made but I was never able get information on battery costs and labor. They tested both batteries at Greentec and other components at my request for free. The amount they charged to replace the battery was exactly what I was quoted. They are very serious about providing good customer service while keeping hybrid batteries out of landfills.

Greentec was great! The two technicians Seth & Nawaz were awesome. They totally knew their stuff and explained everything. The install took less than 45 minutes and they did a courtesy check of fluid levels, etc.. After that, one of the techs went on a test drive with me to make sure I was pleased with everything. Replacing a hybrid battery isn't an inexpensive repair, but I'm glad I went with Greentec and glad to have my car up and running.

Great people!! I have not experienced a car shop that offer this amount of great service. Dan, my service provider, was very nice and up front. He was able to answer all my questions. If you ever have trouble with your car, consider these guys first before heading to the dealership. I had my hybrid battery replaced and they charged half the price the deal would charged me.

These guys stood behind the previous owners warrenty. They transferred the warranty to me, fixed my car in less than 1/2 day, charged me zero, offered to stay late if it would help me. The mechanic gave me information on how to do a non related repair that I wanted to do myself. I have worked in the automotive industry most of my life. Customer service at this level is extremely rare to find. I wont hesitate to use and recommend this place in the future.

Update - 09/06/2019Went to Greentec Auto today to see if they could possibly diagnose why my car's battery was not performing correctly. As it turns out, my battery was completely fine. When the tech looked under my hood he noticed my Mass Air Intake Hose was cracked real bad. I cleaned the MAF Sensor and got a new MAF hose and now my car works great. Again, thanks.I could not be happier with their service. They are fast and easy to work with. I also saved $3000.00 by not having the Nissan dealer change my battery. The tech came right to my home and changed the battery in 1 hour while I watched. The Tech, upon my request, also instructed and advised me on how to safely change the battery myself.

I purchased a re-manufactured battery from Greentec in October of 2015 for my 2003 Prius. Technicians drove all the way from Dallas to San Antonio and installed the new battery quickly on-site. Even later on when we needed to use the included warranty, they came down and replaced it with a different one, free of charge. Highly recommended.

Cheaper than the dealer,for a better product than the dealer,with a better warranty than the dealer,and they did it sooner than the dealer could, IN MY driveway, AND I GOT TO WATCH! It was SO cool!Let there be no hesitation in selecting Greetec Auto for servicing your hybrid. They showed themselves to be a knowledgeable authority, and it is my opinion, that without the dealer (or one brand) restriction over their customer base, they are in a better position to put their customers first than any dealer can be. I appreciated their service to me and would definitely recommend, and call upon them again.

These guys are super nice and very knowledgeable! Very happy with their service. Paid less than half of dealer price for brand new battery plus 36 month replacement warranty. If your hybrid needs service then its worth it to give these guys a call before having someone else work on it.

Worked with John at Greentec to get a new 2001 Insight battery. John was super knowledgeable and offered good advice about my particular situation. He also arranged for very convenient delivery since they were going to be in the area. The whole transaction was super smooth and the battery works great. I am very pleased and my Insight is running better then ever.

We have been customer service at GreenTec, Richardson for three years after owning 2 older used Prius vehicles-replacing batteries on both. They have good customer service from (sales + John onsite and prices that are unbeatable and will save you a fortune compared to dealership prices. They have gone above and beyond when we have had concerns and have looked at our vehicles when there is a concern. We are very pleased.

Cannot speak highly enough about the expertise and attentiveness provided by John, who I repeatedly interacted with by phone. Our 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid would not start. 12V battery held only 5+ volts, but could be jumped back to 14+. Lights and instruments functioned, but car still would not start. Ford dealer recommended a $150 diagnostic test (plus towing!). If a high voltage battery replacement needed, would be $6,800 without labor. After a bit of back-and-forth, John suggested as a first step to simply take the 12V battery out of the loop and jump the hybrid electrical system directly with our truck (taking care not to fry the system through misconnections). Lights, instruments and car fired right up, could be put in gear and moved. Needless to say my wife and I were ecstatic. Without a doubt we will be purchasing a high voltage battery from Greentec when the time comes, and at less than half the price quoted by the Ford dealership.

Dealer cost for new replacement hybrid battery for my older Prius was about the same as the value of the car. Bought rebuilt battery from Green Tec instead for well less than half the cost. Made appointment at Green Tec and drove car in to Rockwall location. Robert was waiting and installed new battery quickly with no problems. Excellent service and value.

Well... I had a bad battery on my 6 year old Prius with ~125k miles and they replaced it, then a few months later the new battery went bad, they replaced it, now, 1 year later, it's dead again...I had the rest of the car checked out and Toyota says it's in good shape but the battery is "shot". (they did the installation both times)Nice people but I can't say I would recommend them to anyone I like.

Today I had a great experience with my Green Tec Auto technician, Chris. He installed a new hybrid battery in my 2004 Prius and he went out of his way to trouble shoot my Prius, finding that I also needed a replacement 12v battery. We went to the Toyota dealership together and obtained one, which he installed. He stayed with me until my Prius was running great. Chris was friendly and and dedicated to pleasing me. I am very happy with his work, attitude and dedication. I will definitely use Green Tec Auto again if I ever need another replacement battery.
