Entire process was smooth, quick, and professional. Mike was great, and the car was done in two days. Pick up was a breeze. My car was pulled up to the center of the walkway, freshly detailed with tires shined nice touch, excellent presentation.I take good care of my car, and it was a relief to find a body shop that does the same.

This Gerber Shop took more than a month to fix my car. When I picked up the car in November 2023, the A/C and radio did not work. I had to drive the vehicle in the freezing cold of Nov and Dec 2023 without heat. I also had to pay extra for the rental because fixing the car took more than 30 days. After I picked up the car, for unknown reasons, everyone working on my car happened to quit the next day (including the general manager and the one working directly with me). No one knew what was happening when I called back regarding the A/C does not work. Later, they told me I needed to bring the car back to fix the A/C and the reason that it took a while was because they were waiting for the insurance to approve the part. Now, in April 2024, they told me that the insurance refused to pay for the A/C fix. They want me to pay or send me to a collecting agency, and I signed the paper when dropping off the car, approving the fix. I told them that if the insurance approved the fix, then they would pay for it unless they did the fix without approval. The manager hung up on me because he said that I did not let him talk.

BEWARE! It s a nice looking establishment, but the level of arrogance and coercion here is through the roof. I m currently undergoing a collision claim getting an estimate done and certainly won t get the repairs done here. I should ve cancelled the estimate appointment and scheduled elsewhere.

I can't thank Ryan and Gerber Collision staff enough for the excellent work they did on my car and how they cared for it. Alexis at the front was very friendly and caring. I hated being without my car, but it was comforting to know my car (which is very important to me) was treated with respect. I also had no idea they would clean it, so looking back, I'm embarrassed that I left both my mess and the mess the attempted thief left behind! Great communication with me, always updated me when they said they would and were understanding with my schedule as a nurse. Hopefully I don't have to come back to you guys, but if anything ever happens again, I'd go here.

With decades of accident-free driving I had an accident (hit-and-run driver) on March 19, 2024. After the shock of the collision, I contacted USAA. I was pleased that they responded immediately. My daughter is also a USAA insurance customer. She recommended I contact Gerber Collision & Glass on King George Dr., Dallas, TX. This Gerber location is in the USAA suggested network of car repair providers. She was very pleased with the service at this location several years ago when they repaired her vehicle.Gerber delivered superb service for me.Culture: My first impression when I walked in the building lobby was positive. A friendly greeting at the front desk set the tone for a great outcome. Employees walked through the lobby with friendly smiles and greetings. I got the feeling people like working here .Operations: An Enterprise rental car was delivered to the Gerber building coordinated with USAA. Text messages kept me updated and the status of the repair.Surprise: To my surprise, I received a phone call from Gerber. My vehicle was ready for an early pickup before a long weekend. My friends have told me it is rare that car repair facilities deliver cars early.Outcome: I left my Enterprise rental car at the Gerber location which was coordinated with USAA and picked up my beautiful, like new, repaired car, which had been expertly cleaned.Recommendation: Gerber Collision & Glass on King George Dr, is an excellent resource for car repairs. I give them 5 stars and would give them 10 if I could!

Mike and the Gerber Collision team went above and beyond for my Lexus GX that was hit in a parking lot. I dropped it off on a Monday and it was ready Wednesday afternoon. I was updated every day and it was the easiest process I have ever had when it comes to body shops. I have zero complaints. They will for sure be my go to from now on. Thank you Gerber Collision!

I had a wonderful experience with Gerber Collision! After an unexpected accident, they got me in within a few days and even had my car done before the insurance estimate. I met several of the people here and have nothing but kind and great things to say!! Miriam is awesome. SEND YOUR CAR HERE!

Highly recommend this place! I got side swept and of course was eager to get my car repaired. This place was one of the approved Geico Auto Express shops near me so I gave it a try, and I'm glad I did. The process was really smooth and convenient. Went in on a Monday, met with both the Geico adjuster and Gerber Collision rep who each explained the process to me in great detail. Enterprise is onsite so they had a rental ready for me. Received updates via text and calls throughout the week. My car was ready by Friday and looked good as new. Very satisfied!

I haven't had any work done on my car.... I currently employed here. But should I ever need any work done on my personal vehicle... Just know that I'm bringing my car here and I suggest you do the same. Great work done in a timely manner. The Techs treat the customers vehicle as if it's own vehicle. Gerber stands behind their work. It also helps having a General Manager (Jon M) run this Shop...... You won't be disappointed.!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend Gerber for repair. A Ferrari had side swiped my parked car and it was frustrating, to say the least. Statefarm recommended them as a approved select vendor so we made an appointment. From Miriam to Kevin, everyone was great to interact with when it came to this stressful ordeal. Kevin was WONDERFUL. He was so pleasant to hear from and made it enjoyable to respond to. They were loyal, transparent and the quality was excellent. Thanks guys!

Had my 2017 Nissan Versa repaired there some time back do to a fender bender on I30... Had strange vibrations in my driver side mirror every since and even mentioned it to them. I was told it's a factory replacement from Nissan. Fast forward a bit of time and I got tired of the vibrations so I decided to replace the entire mirror... This shop broke the tabs of not just the mirror but the interior door panel of my car and hot glued it all back together. The part was not from Nissan either.. Double check everything this place has done to your car. I really do hope they've improved but finding out they lied then glued broken parts back instead of replacing as insurance said. I'll never take a car to Gerber Collision and Glass again.

I brought my vehicle in for two separate repairs. One was for a car wreck and my estimate/booking for the service was never done. My insurance eventually pulled the assignment from this shop because of the lack of urgency and response on their end.The second repair was for a new glass and tint that was through my personal insurance. The manager at the time was very helpful and gave me some time to make my payment. I called my insurance earlier this week to confirm receipt of the invoices for the repair and they confirmed. I asked them to stop payment on the claim because the new manager, Evan Harris, and HR personnel felt it was appropriate to garnish my paycheck instead. I let my insurance company know that I was not notified or told my paycheck would be garnished even after they knew this was an insurance claim. My agent was in disbelief and said that sounded unethical and even a bit illegal. This act and behavior was absolutely deplorable. No respect or compassion for their customers. Alberto was such a wonderful GM, but customer service and professionalism has severely decreased with new management.Service: Auto glass repair

So I wanted to bring my car back for service. They had worked on my Altima maybe 2 years ago. Today they didn't want to give me an estimate. The guy went on to explain and say "most people, just want to cash the estimate check" from the insurance. So we don't do any work until its in the shop for break down. Well if that's their mentality, I'll just take my vehicle else where to have an estimate and have it serviced. I understand how the process works. I really wished you would've told me this over the phone and not had me take time off work for "my appointment" with you. I won't do 1 star because I was okay with the previous work they did previously.

The repair was fine it just took 3 weeks to get done. Ryan gave me the wrong estimate and emailed me after I was already home and had ordered the part and paid to tell that it was wrong. They said the first part they ordered was broken but no one called to tell me I m just waiting and waiting for an update. I was basically calling them daily to check on things. I called them literally 6 times in 3 weeks and they called me twice in one day only to tell me the car was ready, first call no voicemail just a missed call. Besides that I had to call everytime to check didn t receive any updates saying the status of the order or anything, when I mentioned I wasn t updated Ryan gave me attitude and said why would we call you when the part was broken? They said it was cleaned and I go and they said oh only the outside we couldn t clean the inside due to pet hair?? They acted like my car was in horrific condition like y all can t vacuum some pet hair on a floor board? I waited an extra day to pick it up and they didn t even clean the inside, I wish I had just picked it up instead of waiting for them to clean it, not worth the wait. Overall just extremely poor customer service/virtually no follow through and I would never use this location again. Might be better to have someone answer the phone for repairs besides Ryan, someone with better customer service. I used the Gerber collision on plano road in Dallas a few months before and that was 100x better they constantly call/text to update you and everyone is extremely nice, very good customer service and they detailed the inside of my car for free as part of the repair! I originally thought I was going to same Gerber collision I used before, but I thought oh it s probably fine because the other Gerber collision was good and I wanted to get it done, what a mistake I made!Service: Auto glass repair

When they told me it would only take 2 weeks, I took that as 3 - 4. They had my car ready in 7 business days! Gave regular updates on the status, estimate was about right. Overall they made being in an accident a lot less stressful than it already is. Leo was very helpful too.I meticulously keep my car clean, and they gave it back looking better than I could ever do. Seriously, I couldn't figure out why my window wouldn't roll up (it was up, I just couldn't tell because it was literally spotless) lol*side note: Enterprise rental process went smoothly - but car smelled absolutely terrible. I would recommend going to the lot instead of having the Enterprise people pick the car and bring it to you.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The minute we walked in, Jessica greeted us and got us started with the paperwork required to get an estimate for the damages to my car. Then Ryan walked us through the process. Both were very easy and pleasant to talk too. Glad our insurance sent us over there.

Alberto Vejil, themanager really showed me first class service. Alberto, provided for me a rental car while my car was being serviced. He did exactly what he promised me and went over and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the work they did on my BMW. When I arrived to pick my car up all I could do is smile, I really was impressed with the customer service that was provided t to me and the great job they did on my car.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was in an accident on my way to visit a friend. Luckily the other driver was insured and I was able to utilize his insurance (as it was his fault). That said, Gerber supplied me with a rental, communicated with me twice a week, and was complete with the job a week before I was told they would be! Excellent service, super friendly staff, and amazing work done by the hands-on team. In my opinion, my car looks better than it ever has. Don t know what I would ve done without them!

Too bad they don't have a a zero stars, I took my car for an estimate almost three weeks ago and when I contacted my insurance they told me that Gerber hadn't uploaded the paperwork, my insurance contacted Gerber and Gerber told my insurance that the paperwork would be uploaded by end of business day two days ago, I called Gerber and nobody answers, just waiting on a call from my insurance so I can take my care elsewhere, definitely not doing business with Gerber if they can't even get the paperwork in quickly, I can only imagine how long it will take to get my car ready. Thanks to all the people who took the time to make a review on this shop it has help me not to do business with Gerber and maybe corporate will do something about it once they realize they are losing business because of their employees ineptitude.

If you don't care how long your repair takes, if they return your calls, or communicate the progress of your repair then this is place for you. Quality of the repair is 8-9/10, everything else is 1/10. Took them almost two full business days to even get an estimate (and I had to call multiple times each day to get someone that knew what was going on to return my call). When they finally got the estimate together, they tell me that they are listing the completion date as Monday to be safe, but it should be done Friday. Thursday rolls around and I after I call a few times, they tell me they won't have it done till Monday. Bummer, but you did say that upfront so whatever. Monday morning at 9am, I get a text that says my car will be ready for pickup at 4pm. By this point, I don't really trust anything they say as about the time line so I call them at 345 to confirm. It's not done. Tuesday I had to call multiple times to get them to tell me what was going on. They did finish it on Tuesday. I find it interesting how many reviews there are on here talking about the great customer service and cars being done ahead of time. In my experience, customer service this bad is not an outlier or one off.

Had a great experience with Gerber collision when my car had to get the passenger doors and side panels fixed. The process was seriously easy. I dropped off my car, they assessed the damage and gave me a quote, then got to work. My car was done way sooner than expected, too, which was a nice surprise! There was one little bit of rework that needed to be done the new front passenger side door had some wind noise, but only when you were going over 60 mph. I brought my car back and they fixed it right up. She s as good as new now! Everyone that I talked with throughout the process was really friendly and helpful, too. I would definitely recommend this shop!

Woman at the front desk made a personal call to set up an appt for her son in the middle of assisting me. Didn t take a call made a call then acted like no appts were available the following day upon review she did have something first thing 1 star review and it looked like they are hiring so it probably won t change too fast

Albert and his team were great! Awesome customer service skills and always kept me in the loop of what was going on with my vehicle.Didn t take long with my vehicle and got me in and out.Will recommend them to anyone looking to get repairs done.

Only reason for 2 stars is because they paid for my rental car (Only after I complained after 2 weeks).I was quoted 2 weeks and got my car back 2 and a half months later.1) if you want a status update you have to call. No one ever called me. I would call and they would be in "meetings". They would never return my call. When I did get a hold of my rep I always got conflicting information.2) After about a month and a half they said my car was ready. I went to pick it up and it was still clearly scratched and dinged in spots. They told me they had to resubmit to the insurance for the additional repairs when they should have been fixed in the first place, in the first go-around.3) When I picked up my car after 2.5 months the driver and passenger seat belts were broken. The slack in the seat belt would not retract. This had nothing to do with the reason I brought my car in and was caused by the technician. Secondly, the A/C apparently was not blowing cold at some point in the repair. The A/C was fine when I dropped it off. Clearly the technician messed this up. Lastly, after picking up and arriving home and unlocking the car to exit, the trunk also popped. Now everytime I unlock the trunk pops. Another problem that was not present when I dropped it off.Now the car is at Audi Dallas getting all these issues caused by the technician fixed.Overall I was satisfied with the repair in the end, was happy I did not have to pay for 2.5 months of rental car. But the service was deplorable, the communication lacking. And the new issues caused by the technician. In the end I would not go back or recommend to anyone.

Took car here for a hail estimate so we could make a decision about what we are going to do with car. Wife went here and was there for an hour to get estimate. We followed up for 3 days when we get it there are no parts on it I call and say can I get a complete quote the answer: no we can t finish quote till it comes in is there anyway you can complete it there are several thousand in parts not on here basically begging him at this point : no . How hard is it to do your job if it s this hard to get an estimate I could just imagine how bad the rest of the process would go

I used the Silver Rock warranty thru Carvana. Bad experience 2 stars because they keep you up to date once they get started, front desk receptionist was nice, the car technician was nice & she cared. They painted the car which was fine, but the promised a few extra added things and did do them. When I went to pick up my car, I had to wait 30 mins. It took them 2-3 wks from estimate to painting to get my car in. When I finally got my car the front seat motor wasn t working (to position the seat) & smears/smudges on the inside. Not cleaned. I will never go back. Horrible experience in the end. Of course not their fault for seat issue, but working fine when I dropped it off.Service: Painting
