I came to work with David T. & by way of referral. I must say, he is a true professional and was a joy to work with. He & his team were able to service my car (transmission). starting on the work on Mon 4/4 & eas done by Wed 4/6, I was impressed. As of this writing, my car is still performing. I must note that I was able to see where David got his professionalism & good work ethics, the owner Scott. I had the opportunity to meet & speak with Scott each time I went to the facility & he to was a joy to converse with, he even taught me a couple of things about my vehicle (Nissan). I would recommend this organization to my family & friends, thx a mil' David, Scott & the Eagle Transmission team on Lupo, Dallas, TX.

Brought my car in which was slipping gears. After the initial inspection David informed me that they would need to open up the transmission to figure out what was wrong with it. I explained to him that I was just about to trade in my car for a new one. He was very up front with me and said that I d probably be better off just selling instead of repairing based on my cars mileage and value. After I did a bit of research turns out he was right. Instead of trying to sugar coat to make some money off me he was very honest about the likely cost vs benefit of examining and fixing my transmission for my older car. That s the kind of honesty and customer-first attitude I wish more places practiced.

I had a truly exceptional experience at Eagle Transmission last Friday. I walked in concerned about my transmission. After a short conversation about the symptoms, the owner offered to ride along with me to hear what I was hearing before charging me for a diagnostic. After our ride along, hearing nothing, he gave his opinion, which was to - DO NOTHING. What repair shop suggests that there is nothing wrong with your car? This one.I was impressed with their honesty, experience, and genuine interest in the health of my vehicle. They definitely earned my future business and referrals!Service: Transmission

My car went in with a bare minimum issue after spending over $1200 and now its 90% worse. It s bouncing like a basketball its horrible. Wasnt even given an itemized receipt only the receipt from my card payment. I will not be recommending them for anything not even to change a tire

I very highly recommend Scott and his team for any auto service / repair needs. I have used Eagle for maintenance and repairs on multiple cars on multiple occasions and find them to be friendly, responsive, honest and efficient. I want to highly recommend Eagle Transmission on Lupo Drive. I found them by accident when trying to contact Davenport Motors which had closed and now recommends Eagle. I am so thankful to know about them! My son s GMC Yukon needed a part that had been discontinued and I had been told that there was nothing I could do to repair it. For sentimental reasons, along with the fact that it is a great car, it was important to us to repair it. Scott, went above and beyond to find the part and help us get it repaired. Without his wealth of knowledge and experience, this would not have been possible. I highly recommend them for an honest, thorough and professional job.

If you have any issues with your car then definitely do yourself a favor and go here. The couple places I checked out before and even the tow truck drivers told me that it was definitely a transmission issue. The team here diagnosed my issue and found that it was actually a broken axle. They repaired it and topped off my transmission fluid, saving me thousands of dollars that someone else would ve charged. Shout out to David who kept me abreast each step of the way via phone and text.

Jimmy and His team along with Jasmine went and above and beyond to ensure there was nothing wrong with my 2010 Ford Focus, it has 191k miles, I was concerned because of high mileage.I left my key on the key chain and Jasmine the receptionist drove to my home and delivered my House key.Furthermore they didn t try to bs a repair, they simply went in to figure out if there was a problem or not. And I highly appreciate that. Speaks highly of their shop and how they run! Will refer and come back if I have issues!Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

I can 100% assure you this is hands down the most honest and ethical transmission shop in Dallas. Scott Richardson has the customers in mind with everything he does. The night of the tornado my 2011 Toyota Highlanders transmission left my newly licensed son stuck on the side of 35. We had the car towed there based on a recommendation from a friend who s a service advisor at Lexus. I was immediately at ease in speaking on the phone with Scott that he would take the best care of us possibly. He helped us navigate insurance and warranty companies and that is a huge plus. His pricing is honest and fair and the employees are top notch. The vehicle was a total loss and I had the opportunity to purchase it back from our insurance company but Scott advised us against that which meant $0 for him. His employees assisted me in retrieving my personal belongings before the insurance company came and picked the car up. The battery had been disconnected and they quickly brought in a portable battery to hook up so I could unlock the doors and get everything from all pockets and cubbies. He did all this with my best interest in mind. In today s world where people are all about making money and not taking care of the customers it s unbelievable to find an auto repair shop that truly takes care of the customer first and foremost.

Scott Richardson and Eagle Transmission are the absolute best when it comes to car repairs! Scott is everything that you want when dealing with a repair shop--super nice, honest and fair. I recently took my Mini Cooper in and Scott was upfront and told me that the car was not worth repairing given its current condition. Then he very patiently worked with me while I figured out what to do with my car now that it was no longer running. He is always available when you call. And the guys in the shop are also great. They are always ready to help--even when I wasn't spending any money for repairs there! I can't say enough great stuff about this place. You can't go wrong taking your car to Scott at Eagle Transmission on Inwood!

Scott took great care of us. He helped us with the warranty claim when we were having trouble with the adjuster and got the car in and out quickly. He also guarantees his work with his own warranty. I can t recommend this place enough. They diagnosed the problem easily and replaced it with high quality parts that will last longer than the original.

Scott was a total pleasure to work with. My wife and I were having problems with our GMC cargo van's breaks and even though they were all booked up for days he took it in, worked on it when they could, and got us all fixed up and on the road quickly. He always kept us updated on the current situation, and kept things direct and to the point when it came to our van's condition.We're from out of town, but if I had the option this shop would be the one I'd go to 100% of the time to get repairs done on all our vehicles. I can sing the praises of the Eagle Transmission Team. Scott and Andrew owned the issue that was caused my a local Nissan Dealership and corrected it. I am thankful for the work, the honest communication, and consistent updates. I informed Andrew he will be the only one working on my car from this point forward. He is honest and professional. I am blown away by the quality of service that Eagle Transmission delivered for me this week. The owner, Scott Richardson, is doing what he does with character and excellence. I'm so thankful to have found a business that I trust in an industry that isn't yet defined by trust as a standard.In specifics, I took my vehicle in to Scott after the Check Engine light came on. I found his business by searching online. After I recounted the recent problems I'd experienced, Scott and his team took the vehicle and started breaking down the possible sources of the issue. It came to a point that it was apparent to Scott that some accident repair work done at another shop was likely related to the problems I was seeing. At this moment, Scott/his team could have easily done the repairs and charged me himself. Instead, he coached me on the right way to explain what was going on to the previous repair shop in order to get the repairs covered under warranty. Scott advised me on reaching out to my insurance company to keep them informed. Scott took phone calls from the previous repair shop. I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that he advocated for me, which is what I needed, but is also completely beyond the scope of what would be expected.Thank you to everyone who has reviewed this business in the past. I wouldn't have taken my vehicle there without seeing the reviews, and I'm so glad to have discovered why Eagle Transmission's reviews are so overwhelmingly positive.

UPDATE: Scott the owner replied, as always,and I appreciate it very much,I up the review one more star, they did a good job on servicing the transmission, no complaints there.I'm disappointed they didn't find the problem with my transmission, you'll think if they're the experts, they will find what was wrong with ,it had the transmission serviced, but didn't fixed the problem.I was told they weren't able to recreate the problem, but after I left,15 miles later I started getting the warning on the screen."Transmission hot, idle engine", I'm not sure if they drove it to test it, or didn't drive it long enough.

Honest to a fault. After inspecting my Volvo, there was a need for a specific Volvo tool, that they didn't have. They suggested a better option would be to take it to the dealership. Scott told me what he believed was wrong and about how much the parts would be so I would have a clue at the Volvo repair shop. Also, after dropping my car off, I had $$ fall out of my back pocket, waiting out front for my ride. Scott was quick to call and let me know!!! Wish they would have been able to service my car, but I will be sure to go back if I ever have the need!!!! Awesome service, very knowledgeable!! and HONEST.

I am very disappointed and disgusted with this shop had the nerve charge me 516$, 150$ for towing and the rest 366$ just to put on the brake pad that i bought and to bleed my brake system that they did not do. When the car got tow back to me I were excited until I drove it in the street I almost ran in the back of somebody car, the brake pedal touch the floor of my car, so I when to another shop got it done correctly and I seen all the dirty brakes fluid coming out going to a bottle, so I know Eagle transmission took my money and did not bleed my brake system, a waste of money

I was overdue for an oil change, and was experiencing trouble with my car. Doug Brice, the manager, was immediately concerned about my vehicle, and scheduled me in the SAME day, even though he didn't have any available appointments for 2 weeks!I gave him free reign of my car, trusting him to replace any filters, and perform any routine maintenance required. When I went to pick my car up, he told me all my filters looked fine and there were no other services I needed at the time. He didn't even try to sell me an over-priced in-cabin air filter, like all the OTHER shops do, and his diagnostic was free!! It turned out that I would need a new clutch kit, and that it would cost me almost $700. He explained that if it wasn't replaced soon, the cost of a new flywheel could potentially triple that number and he suggested I get it taken care of as soon as I could. Having fallen victim to evil mechanics in the past, I was dubious, and checked the price with 3 of my gear-head friends, who told me that not only was his price fair, but that the way the labor was described, they were going to do it 'right'. I was sold! Here I am, a day and a half later, and my car is already done! I cannot describe how thrilled I am that I found an honest and reliable shop to take ALL my family cars to from this point forward. My regular mechanic does not work on transmissions, and he referred me to the guys at Eagle Transmission. I have a 1986 Jeep CJ7 that is in need of a lot of work, and the guys were able to diagnose my issue and work with me to find the most practical and cost effective way to work on the vehicle. They were professional, responsive and all around great guys. I'm thankful for their help, and I will absolutely go back to them when the Jeep needs additional work! Scott s an honest no nonsense guy who knows what he s doing. He took my truck in on short notice after the transmission left me stranded in a parking lot and had me back on the road early morning the next day for a fair price. Never did he even try to push a service or repair on me (he even told me to hold off on another repair I asked to get a quote for). I seriously recommend this Eagle Transmission location.Service: Transmission

Scott took very great care of me. I hate having issues with my car and not being able to understand the terminology. He explained everything I needed to know in detail. He made sure to reach out to me daily to assure me and provide an update. I waited a week or so to leave this review just to be safe. I would recommend Scott and this establishment. My mom took my car to this location to see what was wrong with my Ford. She spoke with Scott who was super friendly who went above and beyond. He found the problem and double checked to see if what I needed was under warranty. Thank goodness it was under an extended warranty and I will be taking my car to the dealership in the morning. I feel so blessed because I was so worried. Scott did a good deed and I will recommend this location to anyone. My family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.... Tiffany T....

My car won't reverse... Wow I almost couldn't Believe my eyes. I Never Knew that was possible on a manual, I was Terrified so Googled some transmission shop and this Shop was like the 3rd Shop to come up on google i called and spoke with Scott. Scott assured me that he would do a Diagnostic check with no charge. I thought that was amazing so i told him i can have it over in about an hour or so. When i arrived to the Eagle Transmission Shop. There was Scott, There to Greet me with a Huge Smile was Scott. I Gave him my keys and he stated that he would have it looked at before the day was over. That's exactly what he did.Yes he did check it out and reached out to me immediately. Scott told me that there was nothing wrong with my Clutch an that it was just Stuck and he didn't have to do much to it and that it works Great and that i can come pick it up. Well i was at work so i had my Dad to go pick it up and funny thing about it my dad just told me to give him a good review because Scott has a good Heart and i also felt the same good feeling when i handed him my keys. Yesterday Scott Is Heaven Sent I will refer the world because every one needs to know How much of a Good Man Scott is!Thanks Again Scott! Cause anyone else would've robbed me cause i was a woman.
