I don t usually leave reviews for places like this. But since I m here!I had to get all new tires for all four wheels. I m so happy I came here because I ended up saving from where I usually go. I saved over 1k! Which is insane to meI will say the wait is always long here and that can be very draining. But they are busy. It s helps that they are friendly.And I m just a girl so I hate going to places like this because it s scary. But if your like me you can do hard things!I will say I did have to use the bathroom while here (which I never use public bathrooms). And to be honest it was was terrifying as I thought. Was it still gross and dirty? Yes, but not as bad as I suspected. Did they have hand towels no, but they did have a working sink and soap! Oh and free water bottles!

Calvin was an absolute delight to work with. He checked my tires and gave me a very comprehensive breakdown of how the tires were doing. He also gave me some good options for replacing the tires. All around just a wonderful experience that brightened my day! Will definitely be back to this location for my tire needs.

I really appreciate the service rendered today by Jose, an employee at this Discount Tire location. Jose assisted with my tire concerns without trying to sell me a new tire. Jose helped remove the nail in my tire and stayed trustworthy; he told me my tire needed no replacement as the nail didn't penetrate deep.I'll be back to patronize this business and highly recommend this location.

Great group of individuals taking care of customers.Edit: 4-3-2024Had a tire replaced and noticed damage to the wheel with a completely different valve stem cover than what belongs on the car after purchasing my own. I have done nothing but recommend this business to my many individuals. Sloppy work and a rush to get to the next car because it isn t theirs.

Really good experience here. Recently remodeled and looks good. Monitors weren t working on the front or back wall. I had to wait for a bit was greeted pretty quickly. It was a little awkward, because there were four employees at the counter, but they must ve been doing something else. As I waited for my car to be service, I was able to observe how all the customers were being processed. Very friendly and well run operation. Really my only issue, hence the four stars versus five stars, is they told me the car would be ready in an hour and it was right at one and a half hours. The little text message they give you so that you can check the status on your car kept saying the car be ready at 10 even though it was past that time. It d be nice if they could make that real time and adjust your expectations as the work is being performed.

Made me wait over an hour just to tell me they couldn t do it cuz they didn t have the wheel lock key. I said it should be in there as it is a brand new car from Audi. The tech obviously went through my glove compartment to look for it. I don t know if he s blind because the key was literally in the car at plain sight. So I waited over an hour for nothing. It literally took me 20 seconds to find the key. Besides at the initial inspection they should ask for the key so that you don t have to wait an hour to get nothing done. Garbage

Customer Service was absolutely amazing! I didn t go to get anything fixed, my cars battery died in the next parking lot over. The moment I told them my problem they immediately jumped to the problem and helped me. They were so understanding and kind about the whole situation. Although, I didn t get their service, this just shows how amazing their customer service is!

Went to this location two weeks ago to buy 4 new tires and replacethe windshield wipers to my car. My experience was great! Felix Magana is the best and so professional. He helped me answer all my car questions and to choose the best products for my car. Overall the whole staff was friendly, attentive, and very hardworking. I totally recommend this store

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know I m at discount tire today over in East Dallas at 6616 East Northwest Highway across from the Firestone and Midas, and just up from Keller s Hamburgers, which by the way if you want a really good burger go to Keller s. That place, well it s been there for 50+ years super good. Anyway back to discount tire. I made an appointment online the day before which I would highly advise that allows you to come in at the selected time and their policy is once you come in at that time you re in and out within 45 minutes even if there s people that are there in front of you that s the greatness of getting the appointment . My tech today was named Jamie, And he was very helpful and knowledgeable and I got here we talked about what I wanted he didn t have the tires in stock because I changed size but he said he could order them from another store and get them here within a few hours , I told him that was OK went on and did some business he called me just a little bit ago and said he did some research and the tires I wanted we re gonna be too big and wouldn t fit on the truck but the ones that I had previously thought about getting he had in stock and would fit so I came right over and even though it was passed my reservation time he said I would be the next one in. That being said within 10 minutes of showing up they re getting the truck in it takes about twenty five minutes, these people are so helpful so courteous so professional and so nice. If you need tires this is the place to go they stand behind their work they stand behind their product and if there s ever an issue they ll take care of it period. This is one of the bigger discount tire stores so they do a lot of business but again if you make a reservation and get here they ll take care of you. If you re looking for tires for your car your truck your SUV your trailer whatever it is the best bet to come to discount tire I truly believe they have the best deal s that you ll find any in the metroplex. Be safe out there.

Cannot say enough good things about Jose and the workers. He was professional, personable and effective. I sat waiting on my truck and watched him handle many customers. He gave everyone who was standing in line a verbal message saying we will be with you soon. It s nice to be noticed and makes waiting more bearable. The whole place runs efficiently. One worker I talked to says he d been there 10 years. In the age of low pay, poor customer service and lousy middle management, this goes a long way in what it says about taking care of your people.

Seamless new tire experience for my tesla model Y. They ordered Michelin foam tires for me, they arrived next day, and with a scheduled appointment I had new tires in 30 min. The inside is new and updated. Love coming here to get my tires checked too!

A customer of mine stopped by this location to get a whole set of new tires put on her 2017 wrx. They removed removed the wheels and get the tires on but when they put the wheels back on who ever put them back on cross threaded one of the lug nuts, so that lug nut did not actually make contact with the rim. The vehicle was brought to my shop where I realized they cross threaded the nut and now the customer has to pay for the mistake that discount tire has caused and does not own up to it. I realize mistakes happen but at least be a decent shop and own up to it and make it right.

Amazing customer service. Unlike most car places they didn't make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about, extremely friendly and knowledgeable! My tire light has been on for a year and turns out all 4 of my sensors were out and my back tire needed to be replaced. I had just had it checked so he kindly showed me that the inside part was bald. Price was a bit higher for the tire but the sensors ended up being $30 cheaper each then my mechanic quoted me. I'll always go back just for the customer service! No lights on for the first time!

Bought tires in November, 2020 under pandemic conditions. Waiting room was spotless with hand sanitizer available. Sales staff were wearing masks. Garage/bay areas were neat and tidy and technicians were also wearing masks.Jacob was my sales person and he was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Edward was the technician that installed my tires and he was also professional and courteous.It s always a plus to buy your tires from Discount Tire, because they keep a great database of all of your previous purchases, which helps when checking warranty, or brand or size for any tires you previously purchased from them.Please note that online tire prices do not include additional cost for Installation and Life of Tire Maintenance, which for my purchase was $21 per tire x 4 tires = $84 + tax, on top of tire price. You may also be charged for Certificates for Refund, Replacement which is $14.50 per tire x 4 tires = $58 + tax, on top of tire price. However the second charge for the Certificates is optional, so make sure you want them before you pay for them.I was very pleased with my experience at this Discount Tire location and would not hesitate to return or recommend to friends or family.Steve

My vehicle was damaged during my last visit on Aug 22; Drivers side mirror and drivers door. Don t go unless your looking for negligence and poor customer service.Unfortunately, this review didn t allow for Zero stars and I would highly encourage leadership to follow through with their commitments (Because They Said They Would).I ll continue to share this experience on all platforms and during any engagement with family and friends until (corporate) discount tire corrects this event and fix the damages. I was actually instructed to get a quote for repair so their claims department could resolve the incident.They contacted myself immediately after incident and committed to having it fixed - here we are 60+ days later, $2K in damages still not repaired, and was offer $300 credit on my next visit lol

The service at this Discount Tire is incredible. Juan spent hours on the phone with the warranty company helping me get my expenses covered properly. I'm so grateful! He had such a positive, kind and professional demeanor throughout the whole process and my car was finished in great time. Thank y'all!

Long-time, Multi-car customer. Gave second and third chances. Previously they were helpful, skilled, and trustworthy. Now they are Dishonest and care more about dollars than doing the job right. Short Story: Do NOT bring your car here!Aug 2023 very small nail identified in tire causing a slow leak. Showed it to my service person. No problem they will fix in about an hour. Waited in lobby 2.5 hours. Different service person came out and said my tire was damaged beyond repair and I needed to buy a $350 tire to replace it. BUT not only that, the tire next to it would have too great of a tread differential so I needed to buy TWO tires. One small nail patch was now $700 ! I spoke with the manager and he researched the issue. The small repair had gone wrong and they were responsible for the first tire replacement at no charge but he still wanted me to pay for the 2nd tire that was not needed before the bad repair job. Still $350 I wasn t planning to spend. The manager agreed to sell me the tire and put warranties on all my tires because they were all in good shape. He moved two new ones to front saying that was best and I went on my way upset but thinking I was covered in the future.Oct 2023 Blowout on a major street. I put on the spare and call to see if they have my tire in stock (had to order last time). They had to order and would only do so if I brought the vehicle in. It s my only car so I had to drive to them to get them to order it. Even though I had the warranty and told them I would pay the $50 fee up front. Brought in the vehicle. They looked at the blow out and at 3 remaining tires. Service person told me the tire was not covered because the blow out was due to a mechanical problem of uneven wear on the tires. I asked them to explain. They said in Aug I should have had an alignment after they moved my tires around. I asked how I was supposed to know that - no response. So the warranty was completely void because they chose to move the tires around and NOT tell me I needed to go somewhere else for an alignment (they don t perform that service). They also said that not only were they not going to honor the warranty but that I needed to buy TWO tires not just the one that I came in for. And neither would be covered by warranty. Talked to manager. No help. So to sum it up they sold me a warranty, were negligent in sharing pertinent information so that the tires would wear quicker and unevenly and they get to sell two more tires at full price. Only offer was a slight discount on both tires to try to help me out Terrible and DISHONEST. I ended up purchasing the tires because I needed my car so badly. I did not renew the warranty.Example of their Work Ethic: When they had both tires on. I was presented with the key and a major piece off the rim/hubcap of my 2 year old car and told we couldn t get this piece back on I was perplexed. The piece was on the wheel before I brought it in. Now it was visibly bent and broken. I was told I m sorry I tried myself to put it on, there is nothing I can do. I again said this was unacceptable and asked for a manager. Upon seeing the part, he apologized immediately and offered to order the part. It has still not arrived and I don t know if I will ever get it from them. Will be ordering direct from the manufacturer if I don t get it in the next 2 weeks (they said it would arrive in 1 weeks)Last note: my tire pressure out the door was FL 54 FR 42 BL 30! BR 35. So that means on the left side of the car the tires were 54 and 30 psi! Now even I know that s not acceptable! Such shotty work.Will NEVER return.

Had 4 new YK-GTX Yokahoma tires put on my 2017 Camry SE. My gas mileage went from (city with air on) 19-20 to 23.6 and (without air) 26.6. The tires are quiet, smooth, and a good buy. Had an appointment and took them around 45 minutes to put tires on. This location I highly recommend and used them in the past. Always had great service.

I ve always had good experiences at any Discount Tire I ve been to. Made an appt on a Sat and not sure it it helped or not. It was crazy busy in there. I ended up having to buy 2 new tires and had to leave my car there till the body shop could send a tow truck. The guy that works there said he doesn t know how I didn t have a blowout driving around the way I was Someone ran into me 2 months and Ive just been driving on it like nothing happened. Thank goodness I just live around the corner bc I brought my Segway with and was able to just ride it home while I waited. They quarter me and hour and only took like 30 min

I recently had to replace my tires. The Discount Tire employees were very helpful and friendly. They did a great job of showing me comparisons of the ratings of several different tires, and taking time to explain the estimate. On the day of my appointment, there was not an adequate amount available of the tires I had reserved, so they upgraded all 4 tires at no extra cost to me. They took care of my appointment in a very timely manner. I appreciate the good service.

I enjoyed this facility. Fresh and new. Before they even got my car mounted, it felt as though they were looking for an excuse to get out of my repair. "Chrome Flake" he says was causing my tires to become low."I think I know the problem here" he starts. While approaching my vehicle.I wonder if they pay him to think or resolve issues?He was wrong. It wasn't an issue and he stressed me out for no reason. Don't pre-stress me. Educate me when you have found an issue. He did show me what it could look like. So now I knowI appreciate the knowledge but it soured my experience. I'll visit another location to save myself some trouble. I know he was a lead or manager and I wasn't impressed.

Nice people here. Definitely one of the slower discount tire experiences I ve had but I chalk that up to them being very busy when I was in. I was servicing my friend s car and it was really easy and simple with that got the tire mended and filled for free.
