I Love depending on this honorable and community based company for all of my mechanical needs. They are ethical to a fault. The integrity that goes into the services they provide shows from the minute you walk through the door. You receive a different level of exceptional customer service from each and every member of their team. They have taken care of my vehicles for the last 6 years and I wouldnt have it any other way.

Professional experts who care about their customers!I brought my truck to Dennis Road Automotive thinking I might need a new engine, their diagnostic tests pinpointed the problem and instead of charging me for a new engine, they explained the problem and the solution keeping me in the loop throughout the process. This shop really goes the extra mile.This is the best auto shop I have been to I cannot recommend them enough!

These are my people. I have been going to DRA for over 12 years and they have never done me dirty. I get an honest assessment of my vehicle, what is wrong and then they give me a fair price. I trust them with my car and have always been incredibly satisfied with their work. They remember me everytime I go in and treat me like a king. I love coming here and even though I live in Fort Worth, I will make the drive to come here! They are the real deal!

Wow. Even after the sticker shock, I highly recommend this repair shop. Everything is detailed and explained clearly. They will give suggestions to assist the best outcome when and if asked. I am really thankful for a friend recommending this place to me. Honest pay for honest work.

First time ever using Dennis Automotive. Joey helped me out with a quote to get my front brakes replaced. He was quick and very helpful. I have been bringing my cars to Dennis Road Automotive for years. James and his family have always made me feel welcome and provided fantastic customer service. They worked with my wife to suprise me for my birthday by fixing a long list of things that were broken on my car. They went above and beyond for her. My wife passed away a month ago. I brought my car in today to have a head light fixed so my car would pass inspection. My registration is due next month. I only asked for the head light to be fixed. They fixed the headlight, did the inspection and aired up my tires for me. James covered the cost for me. This is how businesses should treat their customers. Thank you, James.Sincerely, Jay Bennett

If you are looking for an honest repair shop to do a quality repair or service for your car, Dennis Road Automotive is highly recommended. I have an old car, and I like to keep it going as long as I can since it's cheaper to do the repairs than buy a new car. They did a thorough inspection of my car and told me what work needed to be done. The work was quality and no issues. What I liked is that they told me what work had to be done to have a safe driving/working car vs. what work could be done a little later. Some repair shops will try to get you to do more than you need or do repairs that aren't needed yet. Not Dennis Road Automotive. I really trust them and plan to go back for all future repairs.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

By far, the best service I have received at any business. Period. The staff did an outstanding job on my vehicle, while keeping me on budget. Riley was very communicative and heartfelt throughout the entire process. The entire staff is friendly and makes you feel like family. I wouldn t recommend going anywhere else for automotive repair except for Dennis Road Automotive. They are simply phenomenal.

I am a FOREVER customer with Dennis Road Automotive. They have a gentleman named Riley working there who has the absolute BEST customer service I have ever received. He informed of everything that was going on with my car, offered me cookies and water while I waited, even worked with me on the price of repairs. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. I really felt like my car was in good hands. I am beyond satisfied with the repairs done to my car. It's driving the way it did when I first purchased it. I like that the mechanics are older gentleman because that means they have a lot of experience, which means they know their stuff. I took it to a different mechanic before I came here and had to take it back twice! Not only that, but I was also informed by Riley that they put the wrong parts on my car. I really wish I could have saved money and came to Dennis Road Automotive first, but I now know going forward that this is the place I can trust to take care of me and my car :)

Cannot recommend this place enough! I had my vehicle being serviced by a local Ford dealership but was not thrilled by the last two services. My neighbor is a district manager for a National auto parts chain and recommended this shop to me. Went yesterday and spoke with Jeremy, I wanted an oil change, was looking at after-market suspension upgrade, possible brake fluid replacement and work on my blind spot indicator.I drop the vehicle off at noon on Wednesday, it was ready by 5pm that evening. I got a complete brief from Jeremy as to what was done and why. He reviewed company specifications for certain services to be performed. They did an oil change, troubleshot my blind spot indicator, did a brake fluid replacement. They reviewed the air filter and cabin filter--both did need not replacing which I knew since I did that less than 4k miles ago. Did not try to up sell me on a suspension package--said mine were still good showing no signs of leakage.Folks, if you are in need of a good shop. A shop that you want to develop a relationship with and remain with for a long period of time, guys--THIS IS THE PLACE!

When first there I was told to go get my oil can t back I ask he colored person same as me was this a good place to come he and said and then other started staring and didn t a word I feel rasial profiled when I came there and they have slanted eyes working there

Employee Philippe Scott has not repaired the car he got from the lot of his former employer per his word. He said I would get a title and has yet to deliver. I have to visit the DMV monthly and get temporary tags. Along with that, he owes me thousands of dollars loaned to him that he's run out on, leaving me in an extended stay hotel until I can recoup money/loans owed to me that he refuses to repay back for dental work, lawyer fees, and a full year of rent I paid last year, with an agreement that he would pay this next year. He's covered two month since last September, leaving me with the rent and the other bills. Professionally speaking, he continues to brag about his ability to over-charge customers. The company seems very fair and an honest family business; however, this man, not so much.

I have been to many auto repair shops in the DFW area. Most were OK, but when I took my husband's 96 Chevy z-71 to Dennis Road, I was the most satisfied I have been in years with an auto repair shop. They were confident and took time to be sure they understood my concerns.They fixed the truck quickly and efficiently. I waited in their comfortable waiting room until the repairs were done. They kept me informed and when the work was done, the best part was the price. I was blown away by the great pricing. I would recommend Dennis Road Automotive to EVERYONE!. They are honest, fair and have a great shop. The auto techs were friendly and the Customer Service was second to none. Will be going back!

Update #2: It's been a year since my original review, and this company has actually gone above and beyond to prove that they are trustworthy, honest, and caring. They totally get customer service! We'll stick with them.Update: I called the company to discuss my concerns and the work that was done in the initial visit. And I was satisfied that the guy truly was trying to save us from an unnecessary expense by recharging and not replacing the battery in the first place. Whether or not all was done perfectly, I at least feel like the guys at this shop are honest, and that is worth a whole lot.We chose this place based on reviews indicating they are honest and will not upsell. My husband's truck wouldn't start last week, so we had it towed to this shop. They completed a diagnostic assessment and we walked out with a $1500 bill. Took the truck home. The next time my husband tried to start it...nothing. The truck needed a new battery (another $140)!!! How on earth was that not the first item checked and replaced?! The company did pay to have the truck towed back to the shop, but we are, of course, left wondering if the $1500 in repairs was wholly unnecessary...not a great feeling.

Highly recommend this facility. James and Jeremy went out of their way to service my car so that I was able to continue my road trip without delay. Oil change, washer fluid,dusted brakes and a few other note worthy items for a safe and smooth trip. Everyone was very professional and personable. Honest, Dependable, TrustworthyI have been taking all my family vehicles to Dennis Road for more than 10 years, and now 2 of them are over 16 years old. Without a doubt, Dennis Road has reliably and cost-effectively extended the life of my vehicles. They regularly service my vehicles, are always thorough in diagnosing them, and never up-sell or replace parts that are not absolutely required. They are truly THE go-to full service auto repair shop. And then this summer, they went way above and beyond all expectation! My wife and I were on a long road trip to visit extended family members in several different states when we unexpectedly developed a strange issue. The gear shift to my 16 year old Toyota Van was not responsive in any position; not in forward, or reverse. The panic of being far out of town and maybe experiencing transmission problems was alarming. Transmission repairs often are over $3k, which would not make sense for my old vehicle. And shopping for a new or used vehicle, out of town, and during this covid-period where cars are hard to find, was an unpleasant task to consider. First thing the next morning, a Saturday, I urgently began to call for local help and advice. The Toyota dealership advised they couldn t even diagnose the issue for 3 weeks. Several national and local transmission shops could maybe work us in about 10 days. While sweating my options, I left a voicemail at Dennis Road to call me on Monday, since they are closed on Saturdays. Then, to my surprise, the Owner called me. On Saturday, after hours. I explained my problem, and then he asked to FaceTime with me to see and assess the problem so we could determine which kind of car repair shop would be best. He looked over the shifting issue and then had me show him various things under the hood. With that, he suggested the problem was not as major as a full transmission repair, and recommended taking the vehicle to a local, reputable, independent full service auto repair shop. I quickly began to look for repair shops and was able to locate one nearby that closed at 2pm. And they agreed to work me in as soon as I could get the vehicle towed in. Long story short, they found a small o-ring needed to be replaced; just a $10 part plus labor. Needless to say, I was thrilled. I truly feel I was saved lots of time that I would have lost while out of town, as well as the unpleasant potential of servicing the transmission or purchasing a new or used vehicle! Now, after our extended 2 month road trip and traveling over 4,000 miles, we are safely back in Dallas. Once again, Dennis Road provided me superior service! And I ll be in soon for my regular servicing and oil change. These guys do an awesome job ! I've taken 3 personal vehicles to them for brakes, axle repair, oil changes, pretty much anything you can think of and I always get a fair price and never have to worry about surprises. When I was in charge of a fleet of 60 vehicles they handled them as well and we always could trust them to fix only what absolutely needed to be fixed and they always looked out for our best interest on high mileage vehicles. Highly recommend them to anyone who asks !

This shop has prices that are competitive and the work is done well. The guys are trustworthy and it is a family owned business that has noticeably good customer service. One time I brought my 12 year old car in with a list of work from the dealer, and these guys did it for a much lower price and the car runs great! It s good to have a shop nearby that you can trust.

My father used to come here when he was alive and I have now been using their services for 20+ years. I highly recommend them. They stand behind their work. Won't do unnecessary work and you always get an advance estimate call telling you the work needed to be done. Not the cheapest, but will whip dealer prices any day! I recommend these folks and James, the manager very highly!

I called to see how much it would be to change brake pads and rotors on all four of my axles. They stated $800 and that s not including the parts. That s absolutely ridiculous. I can understand if I had a luxury car, but I have a Nissan Altima.No matter how good of a job they possibly do, the labor by itself to change out brakes should never come out to be $800. They need to reflect on that.

Very pleased with the great, quick service. Employees are very kind and attentive, especially James, Jeramie, and Riley. I had my car in three times (for unrelated issues) over the past few weeks, and they took great care of me!

Nothing like waking up to car issues. I found the shop that was closest to take my car at 7:30 am. No appointment and a Service Engine light on and blinking. Took my car to the shop, and when they opened a service tech came out to go over what was wrong.The tech supplied me with a ride to work and two follow up calls discussing the issue. Thankfully, the issues were minor. As well, the cost was a lot less than I had planned.I would definitely come back again, as well recommend them to anyone I know.Great job and a happy, thankful customer!!

Recently asked for a quote on work and all great up until I noticed a piece of a side mirror off my Lexus was missing. Contacted the office and they were responsive however automatically assumed it was brought this way. Told them this was not correct and once mentioned a review they said they would look into it. Called and spoke to James and mentioned part was ordered however sent back because I was out of town for a couple of days and unresponsive. Can not believe it! Also mentioned that cameras showed car cameras in that way however could not show me camera since it was erased. I really thought the auto shop would own the issue since they were so responsive and professional. Dissatisfied and disappointed.Update: Dennis Road Automotive is ordering part and going to replace side missing of mirror. Thank you for going above and beyond! Really appreciate you!

Had a wonderful experience after being jostled around by several mechanics for a simple wheel-bearing fix. James and Jeremy made a special effort to meet my wrecker after hours to ensure the safety my van after another rendered the vehicle inoperable.Excellent communication and friendly staff. Very happy and return when future repairs are needed.
