Customer Service is the last thing on Coparts mind. I ve been buying from them for many, many years and it amazes me how a multi-billion dollar company cannot figure out something simple like how to load their customers in a timely fashion. They don t care that you ve been waiting 4 hours to pick up your car even when you have an appointment. Stop hiring slugs and people that hate their jobs, or else you ll just be pushing away your customers to buy elsewhere like IAAI. Very dissatisfied with the level of unprofessionalism. You would think a company like this would learn from their mistakes and try to fix the issue.

Been buying for years from this company witch have had several issues but still ok to buy, but this time I purchased a vehicle on Oct 27th 2023 from the Haslet TX location advertised as a 2023 Honda Pilot, well turns out it's a 2012 lot#73061863 and still shows up as a 2023. Went to the Loctation to arbitrate it and the General Manager Spence Long had the audacity to say in a very rude manner it was my mistake, that I could of checked the vin number. Yes I do understand that but some of us log in the day of the live auction and as a nation wide company they should not made this kind of mistakes (false advertising) as much as we pay for Fee's and services. Unfortunately they said it's my fault and I'm stuck with a vehicle that we overpaid on behalf of their unprofessional employees that can't do there job right so they did absolutely nothing to correct this mistake look twice or thing twice before you buy from here.Date of experience: October 27, 2023

This company has little to no competition in salvage sales, and it shows in every facet of their operation they care very little about customer service, a juggernaut of a business looking for one thing your Money, in exchange they offer frustration, delays, and excessive fees.

simply one of the worst companies to deal with with the most hidden fees you can imagine.

CUSTOMER SERVICES IS HORRIBLE. Corporate offices need to know that their customer service is horrible. You cant get any direct answer for issues with an account. When you email them you get a different person every single time. Its is impossible to communicate and get a resolution in that way. They lock your account because some "form" is out of date. If you deal with 50 states then you need to know what forms are needed for which state. Provide that information when asked. Uploading a form onto the account is extremely frustrating because they dont provide you any correct forms. So you have to search and anticipate what they need as they dont tell you what they want. Then when you actually get a blank form from them to fill out they want you to include information for Copart on the form. Well if you want Coparts information on the form then provide it when you send the form to the member. In the meantime the account is frozen.Don't even get me started on fees, which keep going up and up and up. Now you have to buy 25 cars and also spend over $75,000 in a year to get any kind of small discount on fees. Yes, that's great if you run a huge operation, but what if you are a smaller buyer and buy 30 cars but dont spend $75K in a year on these cars, well then you pay the HIGHER fees! You should be allowed to meet one of the 2 criteria in order to get a discount on fees, not have to meet both! A $500 bid costs $900 by the time all the fees and charges are paid! Way to stick it to the little guy Copart!

Was a great place to purchase project cars but the customer service has gone into the toilet this past year. The new storage fees and scheduling a pickup makes it incredibly hard to get your car without incurring tacked on fees. Our last purchase left a bad taste. They need to make it easier not harder to get a car. Also train the phone customer service staff better so they don t act like they were hired yesterday. Not sure if all the changes were made do to covid or to make more money on fees and storage but we ll be pausing doing business with Copart for the foreseeable future.

I have been dealing with Managment for quite some times, and Mrs. Hui is the best agent I have ever dealt with. She answer anytime, and send emails follow up, basically she really cares. Thank you Hui, we really appreciate your help !!

Why can't I give 0 stars - horrible company - I called their customer service line twice the automation service hung up on me every time. Chat with a online rep. asking why I was not able to bid - "I did not put their name down as the supplier" Really - If you got the document - It was for you! When I questioned that you took my membership fee in March - I have not been able to bid - My membership should start when it is fully activated. I was automatically disconnect from the online chat - all correspondents were cleared from my screen and I was prompt to a survey. Please don't waste your time or money with this company go to IAAI - top notch company I promise you will be pleased!

After 10 years of buying from copart, today is the day that I am moving to the competition, and I will no longer support them, ot us a nightmare to deal with them in 2023, I wwnt convince of I want a whole bunch of fees and trouble to get my vehicles I will visit my local dealership instead of copart.

Horribly managed building, parking is a nightmare, security never to be found, dirty, roof leaks in the lobby, Copart employees smoking all through parking garage, engineers can t figure out gates or elevators. Anytime you ask why things are this why the people at the bank and cafe say the building is mismanaged and no complaints are ever addressed. Whoever is in charge should be fired

The way this place is operating should be shameful to the brand. Putting in place trivial rules about pick up appointments that inhibit a person from receiving something they paid for is one thing but to have zero customer service in response is unacceptable. How can someone schedule a pick up through this company's shipping division and still have the driver turned away is astoundingly incompetent. To also have someone be charged fees during this is thievery at best and highly suspect. Get your act together this is a disgrace that diminishes the brand as a whole and should be addressed and corrected in haste!

Absolute worst customer service of any business I have ever dealt with. They are just here to take your money. Same as many on here, they tell you your account is live but you cannot bid and their customer support number is useless. Total SCAM. I still cannot bid or get a refund and I have talked, emailed and chatted at least 10 times.

I don't typically leave a review however my experience with Copart Graham (especially whoever answered the front desk phone) was the worst I've had. After asking her if I could be added to a schedule for a donation pick up (yes giving my car to them for free) she asked if it was parked in an area that was accessible from the front. I let her know that we have a truck that does not run parked in front of the vehicle and once I knew when a tow truck (or timeframe) a tow would arrive we would move the truck out of the way (since it was on a city street and the truck was acting as a place holder making sure no one would park there). She told me that I wouldn't be able to get on the schedule until the truck was moved. We went back and forth for a while and she made it very CLEAR (with a follow up all caps email) that she would not add me to the pick up schedule.Come Monday afternoon, without ANY warning or scheduling confirmation from Copart, the tow truck driver called saying he was about 45 min away to pick up my car....well since I was not notified and she had said she wouldn't add me to the schedule the broke down truck had not been moved. My husband had to rush home from work to help me push the truck out of the way so the tow truck would be able to access the car. (I'd like to mention that the tow truck driver was the nicest most amazing dude, and was so understanding. I don't think they are affiliated with Copart) Anyways, just don't do business with Copart in Graham if you don't want a headache, worst customer service all around. Rudest front desk lady ever.

Sold my totaled truck to them for a pretty decent price. They picked up, towed and are doing the title transfer for free so I'm saving a few hundred.Worked with Jason Knight who was a relief to talk to because the 5 other c.s. reps I had spoken with from different companies were all rude and insensitive. Jason was a pleasure.Gonna miss my truck but I'm able to place a down payment on a new truck now.

Copart is starting up a new policy where it makes it impossible for you or even their own drivers to pick up your vehicle. The PA branch could care less if you get your vehicle after you buy it, they will not load it and will then charge you weeks of storage and then even when you arrange shipping through them they still will refuse to load it on a truck contracted through their own company. I would steer clear of this location and the rest of Copart because they think they are on top I hope the one star Google rating was worth it.

Bought a vehicle from them last spring. Paperwork was terrible. I've been trying to get a new affidavit of repossession so I can get the title transferred. Their Lansing yard has been no help and ride. Basically told me to bad and they aren't going to do anything. All I'm asking is for to take care of this. I will contact the better business bureau and a lawyer about fraud charges.

Very unprofessional I would not recommend working here. Had a interview was offered the job filled out all the paperwork received a email on when the start date would be so I quit my previous job expecting to be starting my new job low and behold the day before I am suppose to start I receive a email saying it will be another week before I am able to start my background is still pending?!? Excuse what do you mean my background hasn t cleared that should have been done before giving a start date. So while I am out of work making no money I am just suppose to be happy and sit around and wait on Copart I can t tell my bills hold on I m not working because I quit my previous job because I was told by Copart I had the job but they went back on their word and the HR Coordinator had the nerve to end her email with make sure you stay up to date with your email so you don t miss anything no need because I will not be working at Copart they have shown how they treat their employees and it s not good

Been dealing with copart for 30 years. They constantly up there fees and all of a sudden change a business account to a consumer account. Send them our dealer license and they say they can't change it back. Who the hell does business like that to a business that has purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cars from them. If an account is listed as a business for 30 years it's not going to change on the 31st year. They just want to get triple the fees.

i wish i could give -50 stars. the people that work here as "customer service representatives" have to be some of the laziest people i have ever come in contact with. lazy lazy lazy. i dont know how these people have jobs. for anyone ever trying to get a problem solved with one of them just go talk to a wall u prob will have a better shot getting the situation remedied. ive been waiting for 2 weeks for these people to update the licenses on my account i buy about 50 cars a week and need to keep buying to run my yard. it should literally take 10 minutes to do. UNREAL

Copart is horrible and the most rude customer service reps I have ever had the nightmare to encounter. I sent in my paperwork 10 times (No exaggeration) and I was told that I couldn't get my process expedited, when copart put my business under Greene, Inc. Called the next day and was told they only email and that takes 24-48 hours to get a response, they ask you, " where did you get that our number?" They're getting rid of their customer service function switching to email only. Last, paperwork says LLC and I can't still get my dealers account with them after I had to change it at the Federal level (SS-4), the state level in Columbus, Ohio, and back to my county level. all for Copart to still ask for the paperwork. Meanwhile, ADESA, Dayton Auto Auction, and Auction Access seamless process. As a Navy Veteran, I have never been so humiliated and disrespectful from customer service, most likely, making minimum wage. Her name is Danielle, she's the Super C word! Not Super Contra on Nintendo either!!!

Location: 7519 Woodman Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91405.This place is horrible!!! There employees steal things out of your car. I emailed 1 of the managers Teddy Andrews about the things taken and he told me in so many words I was lying about the things that were stolen out of MY CAR!!! Then I called David Scaff who basically gave me the run around saying oh it was stored at multiple places therefore we aren't responsible for the thing stolen. After looking at other yelp reviews It looks like your employees still quiet often. Also, I guess since I'm a black woman with a Bmw i can't afford to buy the nice things that were stolen. On top of everything I was told they're racist!!! I'm filing a police report to try and be reimbursed for my things. I ve been trying to contact the corporate office to speak to another person about this issue but haven t been able to contact anyone as of yet.

Review from a fully paid up member from the UKWe felt this review is justified and will not fall on deaf ears. There is a public out cry in relation to the new buyers fees here in the UKThe buyers fees for the month of September 2019 have almost doubled having trawled the internet today there is a out cry from its membersHow can a company justify such a huge increase in fees is just astonishingPlus trying to call the branches and make contact only to be told you are number 45 in a que with a unacceptable wait time is not acceptable.

I am a disabled veteran with a disability. I was denied access to pay for my vehicle and access to the building in Fredericksburg ,Virginia Today unless I wore a face covering. I explained to four different women including the General Manager that I had a disability that prevented me from wearing one. I was told that it didn't matter. I informed her of the governor's order stating that anybody with an existing disability existing medical condition was exempt. She replied again "it doesn't matter you need to leave unless you cover you your face". I informed her of the Americans with disabilities act and the law. She repeated again it doesn't matter you need to leave. Could have been that I'm a white male wearing a Trump hat and a three of the women that I was dealing with including the general manager were black? kind of coincidental to me since everyone on the planet knows that Americans with disabilities are protected. So I have filed a complaint with the Americans with disabilities act justice department. I've also signed onto a national class action lawsuit protecting others from discrimination during these hard times. Every American in this country deserves freedoms and libertys that are protected regardless of your race religion ethnicity

This company 1st was a day late picking up my vehicle then within 2 days someone called and said about how much it was and how much the buy back would be. We were told we would receive and email of call back in the next 2 days. 2 weeks later after calling and asking where my car was we finally get told they are bringing my car back. Happy to have my car back I went to inspect it. This copmany does NOT care about cars or the people that own the vehicles. I washed my car before it was taken and their marker they use is all over the car, Huge GREASE STAINS all over the driver side door and my car literally smelled like they had a dead body in it, which the man we were talking to just didn't care about. Whom ever y'all had inspecting the cars in Lot # 31763448 needs to take a bath and learn the value of deodorant. I will never in my live use your survices again and I will advise anyone with standard and value to never use this company.

Great place to purchase salvage/parts cars. That is what their specialty is. The fees are usually scoffed at by people who don't know the business and who are thinking they are getting a deal of a lifetime on a rebuild. It's in writing what the charges are so bid accordingly. You can even call customer service to find out what the charges would be if you purchased for a certain dollar amount. Over all the process is smooth and they are fair if the vehicle is not listed correctly. It's a great place to view vehicles all over the country and if you have a transportation connection the East coast yards are filled to maximum and you can get cars cheap.

The worst customer service, rude constantly put on hold. Evasion tactics like I d like to help but I can or it s the corporate office .25% auction fees at this place! They will raise them on you without notification. If you don t pay they steal your deposit! This is the end of the Copart auction machine. Look at their performance on the NYSE.

Spent over 30 minutes waiting on line for member services 5 times in the last week. One time I was put on hold indefinitely, a second time they closed and I was not able to speak with a representative. The third time, I was told my account was active-but then it became inactive the next day! 4 & 5th times, no agent was available. Terrible customer service. Watch IAAI eat Coparts lunch! I'm not the only one that is unhappy with these folks.

Bad business. Sold me a 2013 bmw flooded car and never listed it as flooded. It was listed as "partial repairs" front end damage. When I contacted copart they said they would look into it. It's been 6 months and 50 + phone calls and emails later and still no resolution. I paid 26k dollars for a car that flooded isn't worth 3k. Buyer beware. Damages listed are not always correct and the car sold is as is.
