These guys will take care of you when the dealer won t. Dealer tried to tell me I needed a nearly $2k repair, and Chacho quickly diagnosed the issue and turns out it just needed a small battery replacement (under $50!). You ll pay him to diagnose your car but what you get in return - trust and honesty - is a far better value proposition than a shady dealership service department.Edit: I took my car back to Chacho for a different electrical problem and they did a great job sorting out the issue and once again offered a superior value. I am moving out of the neighborhood but I will be driving across the metro to bring my car back here if I have any future electric issues.

Chacho and his crew are absolutely amazing! I took my Tahoe in to replace my brakes after the sensor was triggered. Chacho made sure I understood exactly what was wrong, what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He was also so reasonable on his price I didn t believe him at first! Haha! While I was there, I noticed he s been serving Oak Cliff for over 25 years! Chacho has become my new mechanic! I m very thankful for him and his team!

My granddaughter had a loose bolt that was causing her headlight to short out. She s had gone to a couple of mechanics gonna charge her an arm and leg to fix. This shop saw a loose bolt causing the issue and took it out at no charge! Nice!!!!!

Customer service and a quality product is very important to me. What a great experience I recently received at Chacho s Electric Auto Repair. I thought my started was going bad on my 2011 Buick Enclave so I called Chacho and explained what was happening and he asked me to bring it in. Also, hot air was blowing out of the driver s side. He confirmed that I needed a starter and quoted the price, which was reasonable. He replaced the starter, the actuator for the hot air and while the technician Jr. was working on my Enclave he discovered that the motor mount was busted and he replaced it and added freon. Those were items I didn t know my vehicle needed. The turnaround time was outstanding, the price was equally reasonable and the customer service was exceptional. I have used Chacho s in the past and will used them in the future. If you want quality work, a great customer service and a good price then Chacho s Electric Auto Repair is the placed to go. If you are looking for the best auto repair shop, look no further. I am very particular about who works on my cars and rarely go to a mechanic shop. But Chacho's is the exception. They are the most honest, friendly and thorough shop you will ever come across. They worked on my mom's Lexus whose air conditioning had gone out, I knew what was wrong and how extensive the repair would be and cost, and they did exactly what it would take and above. The mechanic Junior, gave me the old parts and explain what he did, with photos as well. After having to remove the whole dash, console and seats, you would never known they had been removed. He reinstalled everything back perfectly. Kudos to him and everyone there. Should I ever need any of my cars worked on again, Chacho's will no doubt be the place I will go!!!! The owner is very unprofessional and rude. He didn't let me finish explaining what the issue was but was quick to take my money. He didn't fix the issue. I brought the car to them 3 different occasions because they were either too busy or suggested I didn't come in the "morning". The owner suggested he told me to come at 7 when Google doesn't even advertise them opening at that time. He was clearly lying. I was recommended to Chacho and must say I recommend anyone and everyone to go there. He truly is my hero and a real miracle worker. Someone had vandalized my Dodge Avenger in the picture below and he fixed everything. Very reasonable pricing just straight up honest about everything that was wrong. He turned my second vehicle back into Big Blue and it felt good seeing it back on the road. I absolutely love Chacho like he's a real true mechanic that knows what's best and communicates everything thats being done. If I could I'd buy them breakfast everyday just because they made my day.

I called and spoke to Mr. Chacho about an electrical problem I had with my 1994 Chevy ExCab truck. He told me to bring it up to the shop on Thursday. I went to the shop on Thursday morning about 8:40 am I asked for Mr Chacho. The other mechanic directed me to him. When I spoke to him and told him that I brought the truck as he had told me to, He said oh I don't work on nothing older than 2000's. I told him well why didn't you tell me that before I got up and drove all the way over here. I ask him if he could refer me to someone who could help me. He didn't give me no assistance whatsoever. I would never do business with Chacho's Auto Electric.

Great place, and great service. Came to Dallas to go to the Zoo, from Tyler TX, and they got us taken care of in no time. Very friendly, and really took care of us, to make us feel special. Thank you to the guy Robert. Very friendly and took care of us.

I had ordered a CPM online and could not get it programed. I brought the car in one morning. They went right to work on our car. Found out I ordered the CPM incorrectly. It was set up for California emmissions. He let me know about it and the cost would be just a little more to get the software download. Totally justified. In just a few minutes he had the car running like new. Very kind, very personable, thorough, and efficient. Will send anyone i know to Chacho's. It is family owned. Thanks for getting our car running right in just a couple of hours.

CHACHOS s AUTO ELECTRIC IS THE BEST!I had a check charging system light that was coming on intermittently for almost a year. And every shop I took my car to gave me different reasons why it could happen. I went to F...stone, Mc.....Ford and two other mechanics. I ve paid over $1,500 in unneeded repairs.I was ready to trade my car in. But I LOVE my, so I decided to try one more time to get it repaired. I found CHACHOS s on online and it is the BEST decision I ve made. These guys know their trade. I stopped in without an appointment spoke with Chacho about what has been going on. He was able to squeeze me in. A few hours later the check charging system light was off and my baby was running great.The customer service was GREAT, he explained what was going on and didn t give up. They kept going to find the source of the issue instead of giving me a best guess.I m already working with Chacho to get my next repair done.I can t say enough good things about CHACHO S AUTO ELECTRIC the are Phenomenal!

Can t say enough great things about this shop! Chacho diagnosed and fixed my car in less than one working day. He even worked with me on the cost so that everything could be completed. Great customer service and communication. I ll definitely be back.

My 2003 Toyota Corolla had what seemed like a dead battery. However the battery tested good. I thought here goes a $400.00. Chaco's fixed it in less than a day. It was a minor issue and they were up front and honest about the problem and it was much no where near $400.00. They communicated very well. These guys know what they're doing. I went to another shop to have my air conditioning recharged. That shop charge me over $150 to put in one can of refrigerant. After that my AC did not blow very cold. So I went to Chacho and he diagnosed it. went through it told me there was nothing wrong with the system and decided to go ahead and put more refrigerant in and when you know it is blowing cold. They treated me fair gave me a very fair price on my issue and I'm very satisfied will definitely go back. They even called me the next day to make sure that everything's going well....That's great honest Service!Service: Air conditioning

I am very pleased with their service! I had a hard time finding somebody who can do electrical mechanic work. And I found them on Google and took my car in for having electrical issues and I had already had it diagnosed elsewhere for a very expensive price and when I took it here they found the problem within. 24hrs and got it fixed fast! My car was having electrical issues and I was referred to them by my mechanic and when I say they do great work, they do great work. Not only did they find the problem which was a frayed ground wire, they cleaned some filters and reset my computer and my car has been running like brand new since then. Also they quoted me a reasonable price way lower than what it should have been. I just want to say thank you and I greatly appreciate your work, your time and your service. I was having a number of problems with my 2008 Chevy Malibu LT and went to Farris Auto Salvage to get parts (great service via Tiress - the parts they did have he was efficient and knowledgeable about everything) and they sent me to Tino's. I went there and he was honest enough to send me to Chacho's saying it'd be better for me.When I pulled up to Chacho's I could tell this shop is special because everyone there was clean cut and clean, the shop itself was clean and organized, and everyone I encountered had a smile in their eyes (they weren't showing their teeth ). Just a really confidently professional environment.The whole point of this review is that the Malibu had one of those problems that cost nothing to fix but was hidden enough to where Chacho could have tore my all of my pockets off my pants extracting money. But he didn't. He fixed it and then charged me a fair price for the work.I will be taking my car back for a couple of other problems we didn't have time to get taken care of that day. I'm sure he'll fix it and charge me a fair price and I'm going to pay him.Take you car to Chacho's. You will love the results!

I had taken my car to another place to get fixed, electrical starting issue, after having my car for two weeks they only found a way to work around the problem and charged $500.00. After the same issue came back I brought my car to Chacho s. Not only did he find the issue, he fixed it; not just a work around. He was very timely and very very Reasonable in his pricing. I was referred to Chaco's by a mechanic on Ewing Av who didn't have the tools to repair my car. I knew when I went they were going to know exactly what was going on. As a woman you never know what may happen. He had someone look at it. told me what the issue was and took care of it. He also had a nice clean air conditioned shop where you could wait, but not for long. They were fast and efficient and very reasonably priced.Service: A/C installation & repair

I was referred to them by another shop and they did not disappoint. My radiator hose busted and they fixed it super fast and they are also very reasonably priced. Very professional and did an excellent job on my car. Will be using them from now on!!!!!

I came to Dallas, Texas to visit and enjoy myself but could not due to vehicle problems. I have took my 2020 Dodge Durango to a couple of other repair shops and no one would take the time to actually find and fix the problem. I could not go anywhere which left me worried and upset. I decided to search the internet for one more repair shop to try and came across Chacho's Auto Electric. Chacho and his staff were friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. My vehicle was kept for a couple of days and Carlos my hero found the issue and fixed it. I am now worry free and finally able to enjoy all that Dallas has to offer. I came into town today to make some sales calls on Auto Repair shops, and unfortunately, I had car issues. The rep I was working with said to take it to Chachos Auto, as he knew them, and the work they do. He sales auto parts to repair shops as well.They quickly diagnosed the problem, and as it was an extensive repair, I was really in a bind, needing my car to get around today. The owner told me to not worry. He would get on it right away, and offered a very reasonable price. The job was estimated for 3 hours, but, knowing I needed on the road, they jumped on it right away.I'm happy to say, they called me sooner than I thought while I was waiting at lunch to come pick it up.When I got there, the owner pointed out a few things that needed to be looked at, and told me to make sure I have them taken care at when I got back home.They even cleaned the engine for me. I didn't recognize it.A great experience with Chachos Auto Electric. I can truly recommend them. If you need work done, these are your guys!

Chacho is an outstanding person! Him and his team were timely, fair and honest!! They give a good fair price and show you what the issues are with the car so you know they re telling the truth. I won t take my car anywhere else! This is THE place to go for all car repairs!

Had a problem with an electrical component of my A/C compressor. Called Chacho and he immediately made a video call showing me possible replacement parts that could fit what I was looking for, he was very patient and friendly. Took the car in and 15 minutes later it was done and everything was working as it was supposed to. 100% recommended, I will definitely be taking my car there again if I need to.Service: Electrical repair
