Be careful, they might try to steal from you. I had them do some work and had to return and get the car fixed in the same place over 3 times. Then they charge red me more money to fix the problem they created. They ll tell you something they messed up after fixing it is your fault. BE CAREFUL

Awesome, they definitely have very knowledgeable mechanics. There such great people we from out of town Heading back home had to stop somewhere and seen big D I instantly checked them out and all nothing but perfect ratings and awesome talk. Thank you Sam he was out service Tech 5 star actually deserve more.. thanks Big D for hospitality and allowing our dog to be out of the heat... "PERFECT"!

They greeted me as I walked in. Told them the problem, they identified it. They did a great job. Very polite and seemed very fair. I will drive from Carrollton if I need service on my vehicle again. Thanks guys.

Wow, I have now twice taken a vehicle here that I was quoted absurd amounts of money and false issues with.Big D fiexed the $1,000 quote on my AC for freeThe $5,600 quote on my F250 for $150.Trustworthy, honest to a fault.I will always recommend them now.I've now serviced 3 family vehicles here in the last 30 days. I will be bringing a 4th soon.

These guys are the BEST. I own a car rental company and feel so glad these guys are nearby. The staff is honest, friendly, fast, affordable, and absolute experts at vehicle maintenance. Not sure what the other folks went through but I got an oil change and brake job. Fair guys. Jacob was the mechanic and he does great work. Inside is nice and comfy. Fast work done too. The owner also runs a roadside assistance company that is fair, reliable and does great work too.

I ve been taking my vehicles here for several years. Jacob does well at explaining everything that s needed and never tries to add extra items that are not needed. Prices are much more reasonable than other places I ve been to as well.

Big D Automotive is the best! I have come to them twice for repairs and they just phenomenal. They are honest, give the best pricing, and will get your car taken care of in a timely manner. Everyone there is great! Abe is the best! Someone from my school told me to check them out and I understand why now. Always fast and friendly service. Would come by here for an oil change while I went to school across the street. They always had my car ready to go by the time I was done with class and would accommodate the best they could to see me early or right before closing if needed. I ve been to other auto shops, but no place I trust more than them. They are fair and communicate well, and I appreciate it all! Pricing is great.

Overall great experience for the guys at Big D Auto. I needed to have some body work done on my mustang and these guys took great care of me. My car hasn t looked this nice in years. If you have the chance, speak with Dino. He is one of the managers, and is very knowledgeable. He will treat you right. I highly recommend you conduct business with this shop.Service: Body & Trim

Crooks!The manager here is a crook he sold me a new tire that was used ... Charged me 90.00$ for a new tire with a patch ... Drove to Galveston it was flat by then ... they put an orange patch on it and because his are black and the new patch I HAD to get in Galveston was orange he accused me of lying about it ... He IS A CROOK AND BD AUTOMOTIVE should be xed out they are liars cheaters and don't stand by anything ... I hate BIGD AUTOMOTIVE ... If they can rip you ... They will ... BE WARNED ... The manager IS A CROOK ... I HATE BIGD ... LIARS!! I am a good honest hard working woman and the manager COMPLETELY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME ... DO NOT TRUST THEM ... THEY ARE CROOKS I SWEAR BY JESUS NAME ... If I could give them a minus infinite to minuses I would ... Liars cheaters and I HATE THE BIG D MANAGER ... HE IS A CROOK !!!!

Big D Automotive has a strong, loyal clientele, making wait time necessary if you don't have an appointment. They do good work, and stand behind it. Pricing is fair. My only complaint was the rap music in the waiting room...11/1/2021 Update:Under New Ownership...So much for standing behind their services.

I called around to a few different tire shop and they had the best price just to put on tires only. I purchase them online so I did not need to pay the same amount for the tires just to have them installed. They immediately got me in and got the car started the whole process took maybe 30 minutes and I was out. I highly recommend if you're in a hurry or if you just don't want to an arm and a leg.

Oil change they installed my oil pan drain ug in wrong and now I have to buy another oil pan and gasket. They wouldn't take ownership of incorrect work. I had been a customer for years but never again. Do not recommend this place for service

As long as I live in the Dfw area I will never go to another car shop as long as I live. With super friendly staff and incredibly low prices. And the most professional work I have ever seen done in a shop. Had some last minute things I needed done after a car wreck and they took my car in and had it out so quick with everything I had asked for. And when I was given the bill I was blown away by the price. I highly recommend this shop for anyone needing anything at all done on their car. Customer for life

To say that I was impressed is an understatement. Jacob, who assisted me, worked quick and fixed my problem. I wish I had more money to put on more cars so I could give it to him. Not kidding. I really wish them the best and thank them for helping me, I have found the shop for me. Give them a try for sure.

First mechanic I've tried in DFW and VERY pleased with this shop! Was looking for a place to take my older vehicle, and they were upfront and honest on the phone, offered a free emailed estimate, and would do a free diagnostic when I showed up just to ensure the thing I thought was broken actually was. Their prices were more than fair, especially considering the quality and speed of service and the shop's overall friendliness. There were no hidden fees and no surprises. I'll definitely be taking my vehicle back there for whatever comes up wrong on it.

Friendly staff! The technicians are all helpful and patient. They are usually busy, but they will try to accommodate you as best as they can. Pricing is also great and they go above and beyond to make sure your car is taken care of. Have been going to them for over a year now, and they always make sure to answer all of my questions and that me and my car are safe.

Big D Automotive is the BEST mechanical shop I have ever been to.It is so clean each and every time I'm there and the service is beyondgood. They are very friendly, professional and explain to you in detailwhat the problem is with your vehicle. I moved from Dallas, but I stillgo to Big D because I know I'll get excellent service and fair pricing.

Worst experience at an automotive shop I've ever had! Drove in here because it was the closest shop when my car started having trouble. I was told what the problem was and was quoted an amount. I then took it to the shop I normally go to and was quoted an even higher amount, so I thought I was getting a good deal at Big D. I took it back and was charged $200, didn't make it 5 miles down the road before the same problems started happening again. I brought it back and they wanted to charge me $350 more to fix. This was after I realized that my wedding band (which I accidentally left in the glove box) was missing. When I questioned them about it, I was told that there was only one guy working on my car and they would check the video cameras and let me know if they saw anything. They never called, so I called the next evening and was told they didn't see anything, but that my car was left behind the shop UNLOCKED after they had finished working on it. Then, Moe started to get upset with me because I didn't want to have my car fixed there and was very unprofessional and rude. I normally don't post bad reviews, but I don't want the same thing that happened to me to happen to someone else. I will never go back to this shop and I would never recommend them to anyone else.

Most Reliable and Most Trustworthy Mechanic Shop in Dallas.Ladies, if you're looking for a reliable mechanic who is not going to give you the run around just for being a female, this is your new mechanic shop. Moe is amazing! He takes care of me, no matter what's wrong with my vehicle. He is always fair with me, and goes the extra mile just to make sure I understand what is going on with my vehicle. As a female, I've been treated like a complete idiot at most other places I've been to. With Moe, he not only treats me with respect, he even takes the time to show me exactly what's going on with my vehicle, and explain how and why repairs need to be done. He doesn't overcharge me for anything ever either. I'm definitely a loyal customer for LIFE.

Service was friendly, but it took a bit longer than I expected. Also, I took my fiance's full-size pick up there so the $19.99 oil change special did NOT apply, it actually cost around $91, but he said that's about normal since it takes more than 8 qts of full synthetic to give him the 5k miles between changes. If he's good with the price, then I guess it's ok. (I went there because he had a sticker on his windshield from getting previous Service there and he never told me "AVOID THIS PLACE" so, I went for it. They are small, but local and seem pretty helpful with other car needs. It's not an all-out "personal service" type of place, but the seats are comfortable enough, there's tv, magazines, coffee, and a restroom. It covers all the basics for being a quick-stop auto shop. No fancy frills or thrills, and I'm okay with that.

Very professional staff and they are very honest. They always provide great auto care service to me and my family's cars. Moe always make sure we understand the issue the car has before they fix it. I recommend them when someone ask me for a good mechanic in our area.
