This place is beyond simply trustworthy. I have had countless problems with my cheap little hatchback, and while frustrating the only highlight is getting it fixed at Baker's after finding them. The prices are fair, the communication is perfect, and the list goes on. I have been offered rides home, I have accidentally locked myself out of my vehicle while looking through issues and the technician was able to get us back in with no judgment for my stupidity. The diagnostics are absolutely worth every cent, it comes with a link to a full overview and is always thorough and easy to understand, even for mechanically challenged folks like me. I even get follow-up messages to make sure everything is going well after the repair. Top notch work, and not for a ridiculous price. Wishing all the mechanics at this business well. Thank y'all!

Absolutely % awesome. Great service from the time I walked in the door. Doug was nice enough to help me with getting the air conditioner fixed and some window motor repairs on my moms old Lincoln. He communicated the entire time. Pricing was very reasonable and best part was just great, honest service. I will be back!

Baker s Automotive is the best, good honest people, family owned. They are professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. I have been using their services for the last 3 years. I prefer to go to them instead of those big companies because they don t try to add extra fees or work. They do inspections too! If you re looking for an honest car mechanics, then Baker Automotive has your back!

They were very accommodating. I took my Lexus in for an inspection for registration renewal, and my 2 front tires were bad enough that they were unable to perform an inspection. They offered to order 2 new tires for me and installed the next day. All at a reasonable price.

As a woman, it can be difficult to find mechanics you can trust with your vehicle, so l'm very happy to have been referred to Bakers Automotive. I m so satisfied with the work they have done on my vehicle. Everyone there is friendly and professional . They are reliable, honest and operate with integrity.

I'm a FairLease Driver and we take our inventory to Baker's for fixings...BUT MY car wasn't acting right so I took her in and they solved the issue faster than you could sneeze!! I highly recommend this location to ALL who have the jacked up car blues

Had to have our car towed on a Sunday. Had never used Baker's but it was close to our daughter's and where they take their vehicles, and our car was not near any place we were familiar with. We were very pleased with the service, the customer service and the price. Would definitely recommend Baker's!

This is the best automotive repair shop in the DFW area. They are upfront, honest, and fast. The staff is friendly and does a great job of communicating the status of your repair and takes the time to talk through the issues with you.I would never take any of my vehicles anywhere else. There is a reason this establisment has been here so long.

Customer service is one of the best ever. This business has their own unique method of keeping you in the loop of needed work, (red color) recommended (yellow color) and good to go (green color). I discovered Baker's Automorive by doing a search, liked what I read on the website, and read the reviews. All positive! The two times I've used them, I never felt that I was being told of a repair that was not needed. Honest ppl and fair pricing!

Great shop. Honest to their customers. Don't upsell you on things you don't need. Also the owner himself gave me a ride home when I needed to leave my car there over the weekend for repairs.Wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. Worth every star.

I came here in a rush this afternoon because my car was stalling out on Springvalley Rd, as soon as I came in one of the gentleman was honest and upfront about how long it would take to do a diagnostic on my car & how much it would cost, but took the extra time to check something on my car and found a simple solution to what was wrong, gave me his opinion and fixed the issue for me. He took my car out for a short drive just to make sure it wouldn t give me trouble again. 10/10 customer service from honest individuals. I ll be bringing my car back here for maintenance the next time I have an issue.

I am very happy with the work that has been done on my vehicle, I have a 20 year old car that is running great. They never try to up-sell or pressure to get more work done, just what is needed for safety and comfort. Reliable, honest, professional, and courteous staff. Baker Automotive was great!! To say the least I had come off of a horrible experience at another automotive place in Richardson. I had just spent over $800.00 getting my car fixed and 3 weeks later my wheel came away from the rod that holds it to the frame. The screw backed out because the pin was not put on. I am just very thankful that it happed 5 blocks from my house and not when when my son was driving 70 miles per hour on LBJ or it would have ended very differently. Thank you Baker Automotive for the alignment and checking my car, it is driving wonderful now.S Ford

I m familiar with the area but never heard of this auto shop (i found out it s pretty new - has been open for about 2 yrs) - went there by a happy accident bc the other place I go to for state inspection had issues with their machine and couldn t do my inspection.Long story short, I was greeted and addressed kindly, professionally, promptly - they gave me a very accurate time frame and what place I was in line for my car to be serviced : about 20-30 min. Took a seat in their clean and nice waiting area. And then within the time frame that I was told, they finished!The employees wore company shirts and were clean and professional but laid back - great customer and auto service ! I was so pleasantly surprised that businesses like this existed in this day and age - I also observed how they treated other customers - the same way I was treated !I am planning to come back for other auto services and maintenance!

These guys were great!! All I needed were two large brake drums from an old dually truck turned. This is often something many auto parts stores can handle. But I wasn t able to find any place or anyone who could or would help me. Dually truck drums are very large and heavy. (50ish lbs each). I spent 2 days and 40 miles driving around Richardson, Plano and Garland trying to get these fixed. Only to find this shop 1.5 miles from my house in Richardson. I will be a repeat customer! Thanks again!

This was my first experience at Baker s Automotive and it was not planned. I typically use a nearby competitor of theirs, but they were too busy to address my emergency needs, so I went to Baker s Spring Valley location. As a walk-in, they were able to service my car immediately and even addressed a couple of other lingering issues I had. The entire staff made me feel welcome and were so friendly. 10/10 service and amenities (restrooms were very clean)! It was quite an unexpected surprise when I noticed a leak coming from the font of my engine in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. As luck would have it, it was the water pump.While I have the skills and ability, I didn't have the time or patience. That said with a quickness Baker's team got me in and out in the same day!The service was detailed and on point, excellent communication up front and after the job was done. It might be a Jeep but they even vacuumed it and cleaned my cloudy windshield, I'd go back in a second.

I had been telling my regular mechanic that I wanted specific things checked for issues. My mechanic (for years) told me there was no issues. I took my truck in to Baker s and didn t tell them much.Baker s diagnosed all the issues I had suspected were problems and offered a fast, comprehensive list of items to be addressed.Service was done early and under budget.Bonus, the shop was clean and everyone was very pleasant.I would recommend Baker s without hesitation.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I've had two vehicles serviced now by Baker's and am very pleased with the quality and customer service. Jared and his team are great! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Have used them for state inspection and an AC repair. They explained the work to be done and what was repaired, including showing us the old part. Very trustworthy mechanic, this is 2nd time I take my car here. The first time, because the dealer want me to replace the lower ball joints and a bunch of other stufff. So I take my car in to ask them to check it out and perform the replacement if it is required because I heard from my friend that they are good and honest. And they check the lower ball joints and find that it is just normal wear and tear and don't need to replace/repair. So I just get my oil change and air filter change and tire rotation last time. Yesterday I heard some strange sound coming out of the AC of my car, so I took my car in, and they are able to quickly diagnose the issue and fix the issue and didn't even charge me. I just can't belive that. I am glad that I finally find a trust mechanic place that I can go to in the futureServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Oil change

A great place to service your car. Family owned business that stands by honest and correct repairs. They were recommended by a friend of the family and I will definitely go there again.
