Very kind and helpful! We were on a road trip from Missouri, getting ready to leave for home the next day, when the check engine light came on. Rod (I think) was very helpful and quick. *Note* They have an office cat so if you re among the humans who have allergies be aware of this before you go in the office.

WARNING !!!! SCAMMED!!25$ PATCH DONE INCORRECTLY NOW I NEED TO BUY A NEW TIRE MANAGER WONT HELPHad a flat in Dallas went home to San Antonio 1 hour into my drive I hear rumbling and tire gets shredded. They didn t reset my tpms light so it was on the whole time they said just drive and it ll go away. Of course I called manager said come back to Dallas so we can TALK?! Also 25$ FOR A TIRE PATCH THAT WASNT EVEN PUT ON RIGHT ??? CANT EVEN REFUND ME AND OFCOURSE I PAID CASH. PAY CREDIT CARDS BECYASE YOU CAN ALWAYS BACKCHARGE IF THEY FAIL TO DO THE JOB RIGHT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started out my morning with a very low tire. I stopped by Alternative Autocare as it was in my neighborhood. This was my first experience here and while the weather was awful, the service was great. The service team took me in quickly even though they seemed pretty busy. They repaired the tire and got me back on the road super fast. Total time spent waiting was roughly 20 minutes. I live fairly close by and will now be using them going forward.

They charged me $140 to tell me exactly what I told them was wrong with my truck and that they can t do that type of fix instead of just letting me know ahead of time. Oh, and they didn t reconnect everything when they were done. Sucks because everyone was pretty nice.

I had a flat tire leaving work during rush hour. I stopped by without an appointment and was immediately assisted. I was back on the road quickly. Overall, it was great customer service.

I love this place very much. They are skilled and get the work done with amazing, unbelievable speed, precision and extreme skill. I am amazed by Muhammad. He is an artist in car repair. I love this man.

This is right near my place so I just called with 45 min til close to see if they could patch my tire quickly before the weekend. I had hardly finished with what I needed before they told me to come in! They had me on patched and on my way in 20 minutes and for a fair price. Mohammed is a great guy - had an alignment done and my car broke down the next day due to something completely unrelated, but I called and yelled at him inappropriately, he was extremely professional and explained to me what was going on, and told me he was glad I was safe even after I behaved poorly on the phone. He does good work & is a great dude.Service: Steering & suspension repair

The staff at Alternative Motorcars has done excellent service on my BMW. They looked at my repair issues and provided any options that were available. I received my car back after radiator repair without any trouble. I visited this establishment today b/c I thought I needed a new battery. Mohammed inspected my battery & informed me that I only had a loose cable. He tightened the cable & sent me on my way in 30 minutes. As a woman, getting your car serviced can be a headache b/c you don t know who will try to take advantage of you & over charge. I appreciated Mohammed s honesty & would recommend this business to anyone who needs their car serviced!Service: Auto battery maintenance

Had a nail hole patched in one tire and replaced a bald tire on the other side all within an hour. Great prices and customer service. Will use again for automotive needs.

My experience with this company was horrible the last 2 times.1. 1st time I went they completed an oil change - no issues2. 2nd time I went they replaced front brakes - Brakes were still squeeking within a month. also they broke the lug loc on my car and did not even tell me. I replaced my tires and it was missing and they were the only ones that touched my car. I went back they did nothing about replacing the Lug.3.3rd time I had a flat I stop to get it fixed my whell lock broke, guess who was the last company to touch my car this company , again they broke the lock not informing me at all. again I have to go pay for a new lock.

These guys are the best. Twice I've been concerned about my car and they gave me honest upfront answers. They are super fast and have a great communication system to let you know the status if your car. They are just good hardworking people. Can't say enough about how positive working with then was.

This place is just okay. The mechanics are nice but they have trouble communicating and I have a hard time trusting them. I took my car in to replace the protective covering under my front bumper which had come off. I needed that replaced as well as my bent radiator. I got there early morning as they stated and it still took several hours. 2 days later I noticed they had zip tied the cover to my car and I called them and told them it looked ratchet and the mechanic had failed/forgot to tell me that there was a missing piece of my bumper in order to bolt in the new covering. The next day it had come apart. I told them and I had to go back there to which I had to have my entire bumper replaced which they should have told me in the beginning as they didn t think it would hold but didn t communicate this to me. I brought my car in at 8 AM Monday morning before their garages even opened and they told me a few days. Thursday night I m told my car should be ready by the end of the day Friday which I am only able to pick up in the morning as I work a late shift. So now I have to go in Saturday morning BACK to this place on my day off to get my car. They gave me a rental for free but it is seriously so ratchet so I m not even giving them perks for that. I m so over this place. 2 weeks later I ll have spent $2500 and have a headache from their communication and incompetence.

If I could give zero stars I would. I took my car in to have the AC system vacuumed out and he did not do that and still changed me $140 for a diagnosis that he was not asked or approved to do. They do what they want then charge you for whatever service they choose

There is absolutely no reason to go anywhere for car repairs other than Alternative Motors. They have the most friendliest staff and the front desk lady is amazing. She is real and blunt and I love how she is extremely patient with you if you call them many times. They know for the most part that we re worried about our car condition and they take care of it with great professionalism. I have been going to AM for about 4 years now and have no complaints only compliments. Great pricing, very quick, and nice staff, and a friendly cat while you wait. Thank you for all your help.

We had a 02 Chevy Tahoe towed here twice for service. Both times, we couldn t get the truck to start. We described everything in GREAT detail to the lady on the phone AND the lighter skinned bald guy. First impressions are everything and they blew it with me. The lighter skinned bald guy, possibly Middle Eastern, that may be the head mechanic is rude and very short. The lady in the office taking calls was nice at first, but when we kept saying that the problem wasn t fixed she was rude. You should never argue with a customer, especially a paying one. It was absolutely ridiculous. Imagine taking your car to someone that s supposed to know how to fix your issue and they don t. We requested that the fuel filter be changed, after getting a second look, the second time around since their diagnosis was a dead battery the first time around. They refused to do this and stated that they d see if the fuel filter was the problem. Keep in mind, all they did was charge the battery the first time it was towed to their business. The second time, they replaced the battery. No fuel filter replaced or anything checked out along the fuel line. This all started around Thanksgiving and here it is February and the same symptoms still exist. We drove over to the shop today for a warranty replacement of the battery and the mechanic, the same bald one from the visit, said that our truck is the issue. Well, why wasn t the issue addressed?! Currently, they re in the middle of charging a battery that ll be dead in no time. They told us they don t know how long it would take and to come back later. Again, what s the point of taking it to a MECHANIC if they can t solve the issue?Never dealing with this place ever again!Services: Electrical, Battery

The owner is a great hardworking person. Staff is friendly and do their best to help the customers. I have had multiple vehicles worked on here. I have a mechanical background but just don t have the space or time to do my own work and I can honestly say they do quality, fast, and efficient work here.

Came to see how much to change out a light bulb for one headlight they quoted me $62 dollars. Then advised I couldn't go buy the part and pay for the labor. Literally drove down the street to another shop and was quoted $35. Now they didn't have the part but advised I could go buy the bulb and they'll charge me $20 for the labor. AA seems like you guys are over charging for such a simple service.

I had an oil change, tire rotation and the a/c serviced. It was done in about 2.5 hrs and cost what just the a/c service anywhere else would cost. Very happy, I'm a new lifetime customer! Awesome service, probably the best auto repair experience I ve ever had. Easy to get ahold of them on the phone, no appointment needed or wait time for service (the day I went anyway), and really friendly/helpful/knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices, thorough service. Will come again!

This place was great! They were quick, and have some nice tech, like if they have to figure out what's wrong with your car, they send you a link and you can approve the work on a website.

Been going here for three years and had decent experiences until today.They will charge you $100 to check your engine light. They claimed my light was still on after they did my oil change, then my light was for low oil. Paid almost $200 for an oil change. Don't go here!!!!!!
