DO NOT SHOP HERE. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY. Rude. Sent us the wrong part, after sharing Vin # , confirming, reconfirming, and calling again, owner Chris suggested that he should talk to my husband instead of me. After 1 month of waiting for the part to ship out, after we were told 3-5 days numerous times, we received the wrong part. We decided that due to money invested, need of the vehicle, and time it would be better to just drive to Dallas from MN. Thank god we did. We called again on the way, they said they did not have the part, when we arrived he insisted we did not call, magically they now did have the part(without even searching for it). But that NOTHING could be done that day, no refund would be given, basically dismissed us, spoke to us as if we were idiots. If you take a risk and purchase here, Pay with PAY PAL. Because of the guiding principals of Pay Pal, we were able to dispute the charge because 1. He did not send us the described/correct product. Once I threatened him with a dispute he immediately refunded the money. I fully believe he would have strung us along made us wait days to get the part and then not had it.DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. IF YOU MUST USE PAY PAL

This is my experience working with this place bought a engine for $2,200 after four months of not receiving the engine I talked to a gentleman named said he told me the building is Under New Management and the person I was dealing with has passed away therefore I thought my $2,200 went down the drain he told me not to worry about it since I still have my receipt he will take care of me he is a man of his word he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Once the engine arrived it was an Immaculate condition he told me he would give it to me for $600 for the inconvenience and he will give me store credit for the remaining balance sounds like a excellent deal very kind individual very caring thanks thank you

I found this business on car-parts (what I didn't realize until I arrived is that it is listed under a false name and address online so I was unable to read any reviews before arriving) after talking to Chris we made a deal on a differential under the conditions that it be out of the vehicle and ready to go when I arrived there the next day. The repair shop I work for is located in Kansas and is 400 miles away. After explaining this to he Chris assured me it would be pulled and ready to go that same day. When I arrived the next day he told me it would be a minimum of 2 hours before he would start pulling it for me. I politely reminded him that we had agreed it would be ready to go when I arrived and that I would wait but simply asked if there was any way he could speed things up so that I could make it back home the same day. Without bothering to say anything in response to my request Chris immediately cussed me out and told me to leave his business right that second. I apologized to him in hopes that he would calm down but he maintained that I was a plethora of horrible names and told me the part was no longer for sale. My boss called him and tried to reason with him after Chris chased me out to my vehicle but Chris refused to sell us the part unless we paid him for it and left the valuable core with him and then they would ship the new differential to us later. By this point I had read the reviews for the name that is in the front of their building and told my boss we should cut our losses because they seem to scam everyone. Anyway when they were chasing me to my vehicle they also moved a truck blocking me in so I couldn't leave, so I ended up having to call the police over in order for them to move the truck and let me leave, and believe it or not the officer that came to help me told me he responds to multiple calls at that business per day and advised me to stay away. In 35 years of business my boss has never seen anything as bizzare or downright scam worthy, so beware!

I got on here to write a review about how terrible they have treated my fiance and I and couldn't believe my eyes. The owner is a liar, rude, manipulative and a horrible person. We purchased a motor 7 months ago that was damaged. The owner, Chris, told us we could come get a replacement. We would call every week and they would tell us "Yes, the motor is ready, come pick it up". We would get to the shop and they would say the motor wasn't there or that it was on a truck to be delivered to us. They have never made an attempt to deliver anything to us.This has been going on for 6 MONTHS NOW! We live an hour away, so for us to be constantly coming to their shop is not only costing us hundreds of dollars in gas money and having to take off work to come, we have a truck sitting out garage that has been without a motor for over a half a year.I'm taking every legal action I possibly can to get my money back and make sure that they are shut down.

They just want your money!!!!!!! DONT BUY NOTHING FROM HERE!! Specially that guy Chris he took my money and gave me the wrong motor and transmission!!! I wish I would of read the reviews before going up there!! People please get with me I m suing him! The more people that we can get the better it will be for him to give our money back !!!!! Investigate his company to sue by doing some research on the internet. Collect as much information as you can about the company, especially if the company has had similar complaints or lawsuits about your situation, in particular. You can sue a company in small claims court. Small claims court is within your state and is a much more relaxed environment than the higher court systems. There are limits for the amount you can sue for in small claims court. This makes it more comfortable for an individual to represent themselves, saving the money of hiring an attorney. Gather all the evidence you can to build a solid case for yourself.

One of my husbands customers bought a transmission from A-1Parts. Since my husband is knowledgeable on parts, he asked my husband to take it back because it was cracked. My husband went and tried to explain to Chris (Husband's English is fair, but very good when it comes to parts terms) that he needed to exchange the transmission for another one, and a key part he needed be removed from the cracked one and put on the exchanged one aka"new one" and further explained that he is willing to do that himself, as to help them out so they can tend to other things. Chris told him "I don't understand you! Get out! Go!" My husband was shocked! So he went to sit down on a bench inside the store, took a minute to gather his thoughts about what just happened.. and he Chris comes over and trys to take him by the arm.. which my husband shrugged away.. and Chris told him "Get out.. 'F** Y! So my husband told him.. "Hey.. calm down! I am going to call the police!" So he called me and asked me if he could actually call the police.. I said, yes you can if he treated you like that and put his hands on you, but wait.. let me call and try to talk to him. I believe in dealing with the problem face to face first, then take other action if necessary. So I called and I said, "May I please speak to the gentleman that just was rude to my husband over a simple exchange request?" I was kind and respectful. The man put me on hold, and a lady came on a few minutes later, and said that not to worry, that my husband was getting taken care of. Apparently, Chris all of the sudden had a 'change of heart' and went out to get my husband and apologized to him. Since my husband was there on behalf of his customer.. he went ahead and continued his business there. They were supposed to find another transmission and have it ready. So I called today, and Chris was very rude, and short with me.. HE HAS NO PATIENCE FOR CUSTOMERS, HE MUST BE BIPOLAR OR SOMETHING, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. WE WILL NOT BE DOING ANYMORE BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. STAY AWAY

Don't bother with these people!! This "business" is a joke!! Sorry customer service!! My husband drove 2 hours on a Thursday, paid cash money for a motor and was told it had to be pulled. So he promised it would be delivered Friday...no delivery until Saturday and it was the wrong motor!! Sent the delivery driver back with that wrong motor! Then had to call and call, beg and plead all week! Finally 8 days later we got our motor!! Don't make the same mistake we did!!! Do your research people!! Read the reviews!

If there's any review you must read, please do not skip this one! Reading all these review will save you a bunch of headaches and frustration dealing with these a-holes. They are very rude, unprofessional, and most of all cons. Chris was THE Worst person to speak to! They will purposely give you the wrong parts, esp transmission because they want to deplete their inventory. Then they will ask for the old core for proof, their excuse, was to help ensure they provide us the right part. Which we know they didn't have on the spot, it took them over a week after calling daily to follow up for the correct part. They didn't come look at the original core to match after all their BS excuses and the transmission they gave us was crappy, looks like oil leaked everywhere and then thrown into a puddle of mud. Just ridiculous!! Someone needs to put them out of business.

Horrible experience. My husband and I had bought a Range Rover engine for $6,500 on 03/29/16. First of all, they delivered a wrong engine and then delivered another engine towards end of September. However, some parts were broken and the engine was not compatible and our mechanic refused to work on it. They picked up that engine along with our core engine promising to give us a new one within few weeks. It is May of 2017, over a year and we still don't have any engine, our vehicle is still at the mechanic's shop incurring storage cost. Every time we call them, they keep procrastinating and always rude specially Chris. Still trying to resolve this issue!!

False advertising when calling for parts. They lure you to make you pay them so you can sign a receipt that traps you so you can not get your hard earned money back.and then make you wait over an hour because they have no data base or an inventory then they will tell you oh come back tomorrow we have to order it and still wait maybe more than a week for something they said they had.and there parts are the most ragged busted parts they can find for cheap .and when part is broken they will not get another one the owner will give credit but charge you the exact amount of the credit for any other part even if its worth 5 dollars. So that they can give you a credit which they've no system to back credit or inventory prices.

THIS GUY IS A THIEF!!! I needed a transfer case for my Hummer H3. Hummer made 2 different transfer cases, an NR4 and an NR6. The exact transfer case can be determined by the VIN number. The name of the guy that owns this place is Chris - they will not tell you his last name. I called Chris and gave him my VIN number and he assured me that the transfer case he had was the right one. I drove 4 hours to Dallas to purchase it on October 14th, 2015, brought it back to San Angelo and had it installed by an ASE Certified Mechanic that specializes in Transmissions. The vehicle would not go into the regular gear, which is All-time All Wheel drive. I called Chris to let him know. He said to bring it back to him and he would replace it. I drove my vehicle in 4H, which is normally okay, and took him my old transfer case to have him rebuild that one. On the way back, my Hummer started vibrating and that transfer case destroyed my transmission that cost $3,000 to repair. The transmission company that rebuilt it said that the identification tag on the transfer case was torn off so that they could not identify the model of the transfer case, which tells me that he KNOWINGLY sold me the wrong. Chris said it wasn't his problem. He agreed to rebuild my transfer case that I took to him. I took it the weekend before Thanksgiving - he said to call him the week after Thanksgiving and he would have it done. I called him on that Wednesday - he said give him another week. I called him the next week and he said he needed another week. I called him a week later and he said that he was waiting on parts. I called him the next week and he said that he couldn't get parts - a rebuild kit is $150 and you can get it at any GM dealer. He said not to worry that he bought another Hummer at an auction and that I could have that transfer case and to call him on Monday, December 21st (Christmas week). He said that, if he didn't have it, he would give me a refund. I called him on that day and he said he would call me Wednesday and ship it out to me. Never heard from him. I just called him today (December 28th) and he has now changed his story again! He is now telling me to bring back the original transfer case and that he will rebuild that one because he knows that one is good. I reminded him of what he said "If I don't get you a transfer case, I will give you a refund." He replied, 'You're not going to tell me what to do - I tell you what to do!" and he hung up on me. The shop that I got to fix my transmission has had my vehicle for 28 days and rebuilt the transmission in 2 days. They can not complete the work until they have a transfer case and they want to be paid or they will file a mechanic's lien. Chris does not care.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS - THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT STAND BEHIND THE 90-DAY WARRANTY THAT THEY SAY YOUR PARTS HAVE!!!

This place has it all or can get what you need quick.... best prices and fair. I see some bad reviews but I have never had issues with these guys. I have ordered the wrong part a few times so what I got didn't fit but they helped me get what I needed after I got to the shop and realized I got the wrong thing. It's used parts, save money but make sure you know what you need first to save time.

Our company purchased a transmission on 3.6.18 from A1 Parts Shop located at 5900 W Davis Dallas TX- The transmission was bad we returned the bad transmission on 3.20.18 along with the core (our original transmission) in good faith that we would have a replacement the same day. Needless to say we never got the replacement transmission on 3.20.18 - Since 3.20.18 A1 Parts Shop told us the replacement transmission is on its way many times but never showed - Than we showed up at their place of business each time they said the transmission was ready for pick up only to waste half of a day waiting for the transmission to arrive at their location but it never does (that is how we spent our day today 4.30.2018.) Chris is the person we are dealing with. He gives different answers and different times - giving each person the run around. Please assist not only our company but the many people that were in the their office today requesting the same thing due to the same issue - DON'T THINK IT WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU - DON'T SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SUPPORTING THIS COMPANY . A1 Auto Parts sold transmissions/motors/parts that was either no good or not the correct one - These people are also fighting to get their money because they have tried to get their transmissions/motors/parts like we have. This is not a healthy relationship and nothing good can come from it with so many people hurt by this company stealing everyone's hard earned dollar(s). I am having to send someone back to their office tomorrow in hopes of solving the issue but tempers are rising not only from our end but those that were in the office effected by this company's scam.

I bought a transmission on 11/9/2016 that ofcourse didnt work when my mechanic installed it i called spoke to chris for a few days i kept getting the run around about getting a replacement. I didn't even get a chance to bring the core back to get the warranty cause i was waiting for the replacement transmission. So because I needed my vehicle i had to buy another transmission so a-1 kept $838.00 for a transmission that didnt work I wish i would off read the reviews before buying anything from them it was my hard earned money that they kept i will be reporting them to the BBB they need to be stopped how many more victims out there seriously it needs to STOP.

Straight scam artist, chris knows what he's doing, ill give him that. Cash only, sells broken or damaged parts, then refuses to refund. Look closely at the receipt fine print, he has 30 days to get you the parts. Being a shop owner, a customer doesnt give me 30 days to wait for the part. Even if you wait he'll keep swapping it out with broken parts till you give up and theres nothing you can really do.

Wow! Is all I can say! Wish NO stars was an option. I had ONE encounter with an extremely rude and unprofessional person over the phone. I kept trying to explain my situation and he kept talking over me, interrupting me. He would ask me questions that I had already answered (had he given me a chance to speak and actually listen) then accused me of not listening to HIM and told me "you don't listen. Have a good day." and HUNG UP IN MY FACE!Little does this person know I work in the car wreck/personal injury business and I could've sent a lot of business his way had he been helpful, at minimum. Customer service goes a LONG way.I'll take my business elsewhere for sure and will make sure to name this "business" as one to NOT deal with!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! They are liars, period. Bought a used trans that turned out to be incorrect. It took me 8 days and 50 phone calls to get the right one. They lied to me at least 10 times about the status of my part. They have a F rating with the BBB. They go by at least 5 different business names. BEWARE!! Learn from my mistake. I just wish I would have done my homework on them first.

Do not buy from this shop. I sent them money for a engine like a month ago. Every time I call and ask about it they say it will be here Thursday then ill call Thursday and they say next week. They even told me me they had to send another cause first one got lost. They are very rude and when i drive down to get my money they say they have to verify with corporate office and to come back in couple days.

Chris hands down is the "worst" business owner, if you can even call him that. Worst customer service in the world, he needs to take some lessons in Business Management, common sense doesn't click in this guys brain. Garbage establishment , who ever handed him down this company is rolling in their grave. I just wish OSHA would walk in there. An "overbroad" no cash refund policy is not the way to do business, polish up your communication skills boy genius.-Good Riddance

Looking for some car parts and call up via craigslist.Call them off ad and i was given a price: 200 for the parts i need sounds great.Get there, say it's at their other location on dowdy ferry road, told me they would even compensate for gas.Upon arrival, the price actually increased by fifty dollars. If they don't have your part on site and ask you to go to this off site hellhole, save your time.

I was skeptical due to the reviews of this place, but I really needed a particular part for my car on short notice and they came through even though I had to visit three times.I found them online, called, and was told that they had my part and it would cost $100, so I paid them a visit with the broken part from my vehicle. They gave me a part that was very similar in appearance, but slightly different OME number. Bought it, tried it, it didn't work. I looked up the OME number online to see that the part we'd been given was for earlier models of the vehicle. We went back for an exchange and one of the guys, Martin, said they had a vehicle just like mine in the lot and he'd get the part out for me if I waited. We waited, and the part he brought us was identical to the first part. We were skeptical, but they told us we had to try it before we believed it wouldn't work, so we took it home and tried it again. Still nothing. We went back a third time and told them it hadn't worked, pointed out the different OME numbers, and showed them a list of other vehicles from the same company that also had the part we needed. At this point, they had my money and could have easily said that they had no more parts. However, the man who I believe is Chris listened and then offered to take us out into the lot where the wrecked vehicles were, saying he thought he had one of the alternate vehicles I listed. This vehicle was not the same year as mine, nor was it the same model, but both were from the same manufacturer. We finally found the vehicle and Chris spent a good 15 minutes or so retrieving the part from deep in there. It turned out to be an exact match for my broken part and worked perfectly when I tried it at home.My best advice is if you come here and are afraid of the no-refund deal, know exactly what part you need down to the OEM number if possible. If you're an amateur like me, do your research or ask someone who knows better. I was not treated badly at this establishment, I was not scammed, and they listened to my requests. Fortunately, I found exactly the part I needed. The experience could only have been better if this had only taken one visit.

This is the same guy that owned dallas county auto salvage off of mcarthur and has hundreds of complaints.I have never seen anyone be able to get a good part. He will tell you he needs your engine because they are too hard to come by. then you spend weeks waiting on getting your engine and it never works, Mine was the same engine (I had marked it) The guy is an absolute nightmare stay away

This business promised the goods and service, I was reassured that charges would not be placed on credit card until they notified me that all were available. I waited for 2 weeks they never came but they charged my card $800.00 without receiving authorization. I contacted the Texas State Attorney General and filed a complaint.

They will make you pay for the part then say we will pull it in a hour or so then say it was sold to someone before you tell u we give u credit only or go buy it somewhere else then you have to pay again. And credits not transferable is good only for part you were looking for originally WATTARIPOFF

This place really needs to be shut down because some people won't take these horrible experience as kindly as others! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN IMMEDIATELY! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! I saw an ad on craigslist for an engine I needed. The ad also said "mention this ad for an additional 10% off. I mentioned it and they wanted to charge me $250 MORE!! The ad also said free delivery. LIES!!! I purchased the engine only because i couldnt find it anywhere else. I picked it up. I was rushed when i went to pick up. They kept saying "its god, its good" so they loaded it up. I get home and look it over, the engine not only had a hole in the block but is locked up!! I called them back just to get the runaround. Kept telling me to call back tomorrow. Will never do business with them again!!!!
