If you're having an issue with your car and you need an honest mechanic that won't overcharge you go here. I recommend everyone to go here. They have replaced a fuel injector, stabilizers, radiator, for a lexus and the price wasn't unreasonable. It's a busy shop so go early on Tuesday but this is the place you wanna go for car repairs.

WARNING!!!BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS !!!!I unfortunately did not believed the reviews.Initially I had taken my car to get looked at when it wouldn t turn on. They advise me it was my battery & I went ahead and got a new one. Recently, it stopped again and wanted to verify it wasn t the battery. On Friday, July 28 my car was towed in then middle of the night to get looked at. The following morning I stopped by at 8:00am to drop off the keys. Mike, told me he did not need to looked over my car as he knew it wasn t the battery based on the longevity, he immediately said it was the alternator and that it need to be replaced. I asked if he could give me a quote. He proceeded to take me to the office. He printed two quotes *I ve posted them below* one quote was for an old part, he said clients of his like to go the cheaper route. He then gave me the second quote, which involved a new factory part. I told him I was going to tow it to Range Rover to get a diagnostic to very his findings for my piece of mind. He then stated that, people at Range Rover just want to take money and that the diagnostics are not accurate. He then stated that he was currently working on someone s car that they had taken to the dealership and giving a wrong diagnostic. Before, I left I told him I was going to think about my options he had giving me and had to return to work, if he could do an oil change which my car needed. He proceeded to say, he was NOT going to touch my car until I told him what part I wanted to go with and he rather do the oil change at the same time. I wasn t able to catch him Saturday before they closed at 3pm to inform him I was going to get my car towed from the shop. Now before I got a chance to call him Monday morning he had call and left a voicemail. The voice Mail he left stating, my car was on the lift and I needed to decide what part I was going with. I immediately called him back to get clarification bc I DID NOT give permission for any work to my car. He then got loud and rude over the phone & demanded I pay him over $300 dollars on labor for removing the alternator. I insisted that I did not give him permission for any work. He continue to get loud and insistent I pay him for a diagnostic. Again, a diagnostic that was never done to my car he, specifically told me he didn t need to do anything else bc he knew it was the alternator . He abruptly hangs up in my face. I immediately proceeded to get my car towed. When I arrived, he verbally continued to attack me demanding money for the diagnostic and oil change. I m a female and felt defenseless and terrified, I had no choice but to pay for the diagnostic & oil change. I had no problem with paying for the oil change bc I requested that, but he made it clear he didn t want to unless I agree to changing the alternator. I asked for the proper diagnostics paper work and I was told my receipt *also attached * was the diagnostic test For $170 & oil change $109 total $299.89. Also my car was stain with oil stains & my Apple phone charger was missing. My experience was horrible & I have never experienced this type of unprofessionalism. I now see he was just scamming me. I went to another shop on 75 & no where near what I was quoted.

I had the worst experience with 5 Star European Auto. I took my vehicle in because it was overheating. 5 Star informed me I needed to replace the water pump and serpentine belt. I replace both parts at 5 Star. Two weeks later, the vehicle began to make noises. Took it back to 5 Star and was informed it maybe the alternator and that the noise did not have anything to do with previous repairs. (replacing serpentine belt and water pump). At this point, I did not feel like this shop could be trusted and the gentlemen I spoke with (Mike or Sam) was very unprofessional. Two days later that same serpentine belt that was replaced, by 5 Star, came off the entire pully. At that point, decided to take the vehicle to the dealership and was informed by the dealership repairs were done incorrectly. By the way, that overheating issue? Blown head gasket. Engine replacement. It appeared the diagnostic given by 5-Star European Auto was incorrect or was a diagnostic even done? If you're thinking about repairing your vehicle at 5 Start European Auto, THINK TWICE. It is not worth it. All they will do is cause more problems. 5 Start European Auto should change their name to 1 Start European Auto.

My engine locked up one day while I was driving with no obvious warning signs. I had it towed it here after it was suggested to me. I went there on a Saturday and was told I'd get a call back with a proper diagnosis of the problem later that day and maybe have it fixed, too. That never happened, so I called them on Monday and was told that it's probably a wiring problem that they would need to track and that it would probably cost $350 to fix.I said I would try to come back later in the week but was preoccupied with work, so I ended up coming back the following Saturday. Now they tell me I need a new alternator and that it'd cost me over $900! First, y'all say it seems to be a wiring problem over the phone, then y'all have a different diagnosis saying that I need a new alternator. What's up this inconsistent, expensive nonsense? I've never paid anything remotely close to that much to replace and install an alternator.To add insult to injury, I was charged a $55 per day storage fee for not picking it up on Thursday, but I was told NOTHING about this over the phone! I took issue with this when I found out, but the employee says that they have a sign (not in plainview) in the office about the fee. Nonsense! Y'all should've told me that over the phone; I was hardly in the office the first day I went there, so y'all should be transparent about any relevant fees that arise. Why wasn't I ever told about this? Seems like y'all were hoping I was as late as possible with picking it up.I don't want anything to do with these people. Y'all are an absolute joke of a business and are the stereotypical untrustworthy mechanic's shop that gives mechanics a bad reputation. I ended up paying $280 ($110 storage fee and $170 diagnostic fee) and decided to get my car towed back home. I bought a new alternator much cheaper from AutoZone, and I already have the tools. I'll do this myself.

I had just moved my 22 year old to Dallas, TX straight out of college for a career. About 2 weeks after I returned to Florida I received a phone call that her car had broke down. After googling and reading reviews I had it towed to 5 Star European Auto. I was on vacation when I received the phone call the engine was DONE. Although I come from an automotive background I was at a loss. Mike was phenomenal, he was honest, patient and gave me his personal opinion and I went with a used motor. Mike sent videos through the process and kept me updated. We are very satisfied and Mike's customer service is outstanding!

THESE PEOPLE ARE TOTALLY RIP OFFS DONT USE THEIR SERVICE TOOK MY VEHICLE IN 1ST THEY SAID IT WAS WIRING 500.00 THEN COME BACK AND SAID ITS THE COMPUTER MODULE AFTER HAVING MY VEHICLE FOR A TOTAL OF 3WEEKS $1635.00 LATER CAR WONT EVEN START!! I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND MY ATTORNEY WILL BE CONTACTING THEM SAM YOU ARE VERY WRONG!! GOD IS GOING TO HANDLE YOU AND YOUR FRAUD BUSINESS!! To The BLACK MAN THAT REFFERED YOU TO US FROM SANTOS WECKER IN BALCH SPRINGS, TX YOU HAD TO BE IN ON THIS ROBBERY AS WELL!!!

These guys are straight scammers with a bunch of fake good reviews they have w posted through friends. I went to there shop for a engine cooling problem told me I had a short and that I needed a fan. The whole time this guy is pushing this in house financing program gimmick I don't buy until so hia attitude cha gee from friendly to weird straight faced quiet. Now I'm skeptical on getting repairs done at this shop. I get the bill for 580 for a diagnostic and for a wire they say they ran from the fuse to the fan that was never installed, STAY CLEAR of these scam artists.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Here from out of state to get my kid specialty medical care last thing I needed was a thrown rod and cracked engine block. Mike took good care to stay in touch and get me back on the road as quickly as possible. This stranded motorist will forever be grateful!

Place looked extremely unkept (even by auto repair standards) one of the workers was smoking in the bay right next to who I would believe to be his 5ish year old son. I called to see if they did inspections and they told me yes and when I showed up literally 5 minutes later he said the guy had just left and would be gone for maybe an hour. Gave this place a shot but will not make that mistake again.

I have taken my car to this place about 3-4 times now. I have gone for as little as a state inspection and as much as when my car got hit by a bus. Every single time they have been totally amazing. Everyone I talk to is always incredibly kind, their rates are totally reasonable (and frankly, a little low compared to the quality of service that they offer). Never once have I thought that they were trying to over-sell me or take advantage of me. Major kudos to both Edgar and Mike, I honestly recommend this shop to everyone I know when they tell me they have car problems.

My Impala had broken a stabilizer bar so I limped into the 5 star auto service and Oscar was kind enough to come out and inspect and determine what I needed when he did not need to, my service was swift and I made a great friend with Oscar and his brother as I felt at home in their service center and catered too. Thank you Oscar and 5 star for making my experience a good one.Nick Stone.

I brought my car in for a loud hiss on my air suspension compressor. I didn't tell them what I knew was wrong with it just to see what they would tell me. They charged $150 for a diagnostic fee and told me it was the air injection pump which is for emissions not suspension. They wanted to charge me $1000 to "fix" it which wouldn't have done anything for my car since the hiss is coming from a totally different area. Do not go here unless you want to get scammed. Also guy was super rude while the owner was away out of the country.

Where to start. These guys are some of the nicest folks I ve worked with any ANY setting, let alone auto repair. They did a fantastic job, were pin point accurate on when the service would finish and did work that makes the Audi Dealership s work look like child s play. I would drive from Colorado just to use this shop because all in all, the world lacks good honest people, but I found an entire shop of them at 5 Star Euro. Thanks again guys, you have a customer for life.

I had to get my car towed because it wouldn't turn on. I did not even have to show up at the shop. All correspondence was trough the phone, which was a plus. I told tge guy I had been working on my car and I replaced the cylinder lock. I thought he was angry with me because he kept asking what else did I do to my car. Turns out me ECM was our and he told me how expensive it was to get a brand new one. Luckily he had a used one he could install. Even though his voice sounded irate on the phone, I realized he is passionate for the service he provides. I had towed my car to his shop about 2pm. They closed soon after that. By 10am the next morning my car was finished. The only time I had to be at the shop was to pay and pick up my car. Friendly guy. Quality work. And he did his best to save me money. He didn't push for any other service like most shops do. I highly recommend this place. It's a no mess, no fuss shop that does what they can to save their customers some money.

I was looking at purchasing a BMW in the Dallas area, and decided to bring them the car for a pre-buyers purchase inspection before I made my final decision. They did a thorough inspection of the car and brought me into the shop to walk me around the car and show me what was bad and what was good. They even showed me the previous fault codes the car has had in the past. The service was fast, friendly, thorough, and really good from my experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone. P.S. the shop looks different in the pictures than in real life. It threw me off a little when I first arrived.

My experience with 5 Star was excellent. All repairs were reasonable priced and the work was remarkable. After leaving 5 Star I went to get my inspection and the guy told me my water pump was leaking and quoted $317.00 to fix it. I took it back to 5 Star and Oscar throughly had my car checked out and found no problems with the water pump. I really appreciate 5 Star's honesty and the effort they put into making my experience with them a positive one. I will definitely be back!

Okay let me begin by warning you about going to this place. PLEASE DO NOT SET FOOT HERE!!!These people are shady, they re a fraud. Do not trust your vehicle to these good for nothing people.They put wrong/after market parts on my vehicle and charged me as if they had been factory-bought. My vehicle is now at the dealership.Go if you want to get ripped off.They are disrespectful and the office stinks of cigarettes so much it is overwhelming!!!!Karma is a bigger b**** than these people so I m letting the universe take care of it.I will get legal help for this matter.

I was told my front brakes were at 10% and my back brakes were completely gone. Huge scare tactic for a rookie driver, but not me. I was encouraged to sign up for financing on the spot and get the brakes replaced right away. I pretended to have to talk to my boyfriend first before getting repairs.A vehicle diagnostic from the BMW dealership had already confirmed my brakes were fine up to a year but I needed control arms. Another reputable shop confirmed the control arm needed replacement and showed me how they were moving. I would have paid $1100+ for brakes and still needed control arms.I walked in preteing not to know what was wrong with my car just to see if I could trust the shop for future business and they failed big time.

Having just moved to Dallas it was rough finding a fair priced mechanic shop.After receiving insane quotes from shops all around North Dallas, (Christian Brothers ) I decided to give it a shot with them even though I own a Dodge Ram 1500.They gave me the best most reasonable price for the work required, but what was more impressive was their knowledge of the vehicle and willingness to help me out.I ll be using them for as long as I m in Texas

Being a woman I'm afraid to go to any car repair facility- But once I walked into 5 Star European Auto I was welcomed in, got my car in right away and thoroughly explained the problems I had with my car. Customer service there was very professional and my car was fixed in the same day! They also mentioned they beat any quote price by 10% so I saved me some money also! My car feels like its driving like new again! Thanks 5 Star! I definitely will recommend you to all my people.

I had a great experience working with Carlos. I knew he couldn't get my car done the day he got it but he promptly kept me updated. Plus the price was very reasonable. This is where I'm taking my car for now on no question asked. I got my car the next day.

They did me right here. The owners were super genuine. They are nice but strictly business, I got my wheel bearings and hub replaced and my car sounds like I just drove it off the lot !Thanks I will be back

Amazing, Timely, AFFORDABLE BMW Repair. I always price compare and get 2 - 3 quotes before doing a job on my BMW. They are consistently the lower priced mechanics with the best parts and the quickest turn around. They shoot from the hip and explain things you can repair right now or things you can wait to repair. I couldn't be happier that I found them.

These guys are most professional and help me a lot with my old buick! They have all sortsno high dollar vehicles there to be worked on. They always take time to help me with my old clunker! I appreciate their assistance. No snubbing the elderly lady with the hail damaged park avenue!!!
