I took my vehicles at the Auto Center located in Walmart for an oil change. When I got home which is off Becker Road and 290 my oil light started to come one. When I finally made it home the entire oil was leaking from the bottom of my car. I called Walmart several times to see if they have a solution for this situation, but no one ever answered the phone must have called more than 20x s. I only have one vehicle in my household therefore I wasn t able to go and buy oil. Waiting for an at home service company to come to my house tomorrow Sunday to properly put oil in my car. If I didn t know better my car would have messed up, I m interested to know what they would have done. But once I get this fixed I will get ahold of corporate they need to hire individuals that know what they are going, forgot to mention I was there at Walmart for 3 hour all for a bad job that could have ruined my vehicle for good.

I would give a 0 if I could. On July 19, 2023 I came to Walmart to have my battery changed and to get an oil change. I had never done this at Walmart before, but figured I would give them a shot. The next day after leaving Walmart, I noticed oil was leaking out of my car. It left a football size puddle in my garage after just one day. I went back to Walmart a day or 2 later. When I talked to one of the mechanics and let them know what I noticed, AND showed him a picture of how big the puddle was, he told me that s pretty normal after an oil change. I asked that regardless if it was normal or not, I would appreciate someone looking at it. They looked at it, gave me keys back with no real explanation of what caused the leak. They said the screw just might not have been tightened enough. Low and behold, it continued to leak. I decide to give up going back to Walmart and instead go to Take 5 to see if they can see the problem. They told me that Walmart added a silicone piece under my screw, almost like they were trying to patch something up. They recommended I go back to Walmart and have them remove that piece. This time I go back with my husband. That helped a little (sadly, I felt like they were trying to convince me my car was not leaking UNTIL my husband was with me). I tell them the problem, show them my receipts, explain that this has NEVER been an issue any other time I ve changed my oil at other shops like Take 5. The manager comes out and we talk to him too. He checks out the car. He takes a picture of it all cleaned up and says he doesn t see anything wrong with it. They said he sees no silicone piece. He said the yellow paint on that part is not even a color they use at Walmart. He said they only use blue. HOWEVER, we called over the mechanic that we know worked on my car last and asked him if he used blue or yellow paint when he was finished. He said I don t remember. If you only have yellow, then why would you have to remember? They would take absolutely no responsibility for what they did. They refilled my oil and that s all they did. I went to another mechanic, and he said Walmart absolutely added a silicone piece. I now have to get parts replaced in my car due to Walmart s negligence. Honestly, I would sue them to pay for the parts if I had the time and energy. I will not return to Walmart for auto care, and have told my entire family to never take their car here. It s unacceptable that they would not take responsibility for their mistake. We all make mistakes, but man up and own it.Services: Auto battery replacement, Oil change

Walked in to get 4 new tires installed, got ignored then skipped in line so I had to say something. Started the process with someone who didn't know what they were doing. When they got someone more knowledgeable to help me they told me " the only mechanic they had wasn't changing tires right now cause he was leaving soon." This was at 4pm and they close at 7pm.

They said it would take 45 minutes for an oil change. It ended up taking 2 hours for them to tell me they were unable to change it due to my cap being too tight.

After utilizing Wal Mart many times for my oil changes I will have to start doing it myself again. 2 stores in a row did not provide me good service. The first one did not put the correct amount of oil in and did not tighten the oil filter. I noticed because my oil pressure dropped prompting me to check my oil. At only 2,000 miles on the oil change it was not showing on the dip stick. I came to this store to explain my problem and said all I wanted was to pay for a new complete Mobil 1 oil change done correctly. After again noticing it using oil I decided to take a look. First thing I noticed was not only a Fram oil filter but the wrong part number. They had put a compact car oil filter on a full size Nissan Armada SUV. This caused a secondary problem. A leak behind the oil filter at the oil cooler gasket. I am at Wal Mart right now only asking for a refund for the oil change obviously done incorrectly. It looks like at this point they may not even refund it despite the fact they show the service in the computer does not match what they installed. I am waiting for them to look at video footage for the transaction. I frequent Wal Mart and buy many things from eyeglasses to groceries and many many more items. Frustrated and not happy. This is a case of my peace being interrupted by a corporate giant not caring about the service they provide. I unfortunately will have to resort to what I did for many years. Change my own oil. It s such a simple task that should be easy to do everyday without fail. A fine specimen of the fall of man. I could be at home playing pool but instead I m sitting here waiting on a stupid video to be looked at that they also said they could not show me. Sounds a little fishy when you cannot be allowed to see the video they will be looking at for proof. Although I hope the right thing is done and a refund is granted I have my doubts. No Refund Granted. Don t let this happen to you. Find honesty and integrity somewhere else because it does not exist at this auto center.

Unfortunately the poor reviews are true.I've taken my cars here a couple times for oil changes. Usually I go workout while they work bc it always takes at least 2 hours.I went today at 745 am and was told if would be a 3 hour wait for an oil change. There was one car ahead of me.The staff is friendly, but 3 hrs is ridiculous.

I came in late Sunday since my battery died and was surviving on the jump. The front desk said they had taken all the orders for the day, but I pleaded it was an emergency. They were very patient and told me it was no issue. They had me in and out in 20 mins. You guys are awesome !

Bought a tire online and scheduled an install early Sunday morning.Went there left the keys and got called upon to know that they don t have a device strong enough to take out one of the bolt on my wheel. I was told their device don t have enough torque.I then load the tire and went to nearby tire shop, they didn t even ask me any questions and changed my tire. What kind of joke was this, you don t even have a decent equipment to do a job properly?Years ago same place denied to switch a new battery that I just bought from Walmart because they think my terminal may break, went to other shop and they replaced with minutes, no questions asked. Looks like this place don t care about its business and employee find every possible reason not to do their job, what a shameService: Tires

Terrible automotive staff, mainly Courtney. I will not have anything done to my car there ever again, as I should have known the automotive department is incompetent. I guess the saying is right you get what you pay for. Walmart you should do better!

The technician broke the handle off of my dip stick. Now that it was broken, he said he could not do the oil change because he could not check the oil levels as he couldn t get the dip stick out. He blamed it on whoever did my oil change last though they didn t break it. I can understand if I came with the ring missing, but it was attached and fine until now.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! apparently you have to go inside if you want someone to greet you. first, they said that they could replace our tire and it would take 30 minutes. we waited 30 minutes for someone to come up to us and say that they couldn t find our tire so they would repair it. we waited for an hour and a half and saw our car parked in the parking lot and nobody came in to tell us it was done. i do not recommend coming here unless you want poor service and lack of communication.

Spent over three hours to get an oil change and tire balance/rotation. After 1 1/2 was told can't do oil change as the drain plug is over torqued and it has to be taken to a mechanic shop. Spent another 1 1/2 for balance/rotation where the tech was simply walking around wasting time.To add insult to injury took the car to the dealer first thing Monday morning and they found no issues with the drain plug! called several times to let the manager know but no one picks up the phone!

The most unprofessional group of people I have ever come in contact with. I pulled up to the back of Walmart where they are located and I waited for someone to come out and assist me. 10 mins go by and not 1 person came out to ask me what I needed help with, so I took it upon myself to go inside to see if I could find some help and what do you know! No one was at the counter. There were about three people waiting in line to be helped. Out of frustration I walked back out of the door and drove off, the whole time the Mechanics just watched me search for help. This happens every single time I come to this location! I would recommend Discount Tires to anyone else who has had this problem with them. There should never be a time in which a customer feels disregarded. The Worst Place ever!!!! Don t not go here!!!! We deserve better treatment and service, do better Walmart!

I took my car there for a new battery and an oil change. Battery was dead when I got in the car that morning. Dropped the car off and I called them a few hours later and they said it was ready. As they rang me up I realized the total didn't seem right so I asked how much the battery was. They said "oh we didn't have it in stock". I confirmed that they had to jump start it in order to change the oil and then left it for me with the still dead battery. The oil change checklist also said they checked the battery and it "tested good". Makes me wonder if they even actually changed the oil?! Don't take your car here, I don't trust them!

They did a great job in replacing my battery on my 2005 Hyundai Tucson, and made sure I received all the discounts available. Good job and they did it fast.

Absolutely, positively, 1000% the most HORRIBLE experience. I am beyond frustrated. The guy at the counter was great. He was patient and informative. However the guy changing the tires was moving slower than molases. There was only one guy changing tires so I get that he was on his own. But It took nearly THREE (3) HOURS to change ONE tire. There was 2 cars before us. One needed all 4 and one needed just one. And as I watched him work I got more and more frustrated by his pace. We have been to other locations and never had this issue. I suggest more motivated employees or a better staffed auto center because this is simply ridiculous and insulting at this point.

This place offers a good price and the people are friendly, but they put the wrong oil in my car. It took them 2 hours to change my oil when I was first in line. The tech once asked me if my Jeep Wrangler was a Saturn while we were next to it. I wish I was kidding. An a for effort but terrible delivery. My previous job was at an Audi dealership, and seeing Walmart s incompetence first hand encourages me to look elsewhere. Upon checkout the guy at the desk refused my keys because my record said the work was done on a Saturn outlook.

Came in to get things for my trucks maintenance as I do not let anyone do the oil change but me thanks to Walmart. As I am looking for my air filter and figuring out which one I wanted I misplaced the unwanted air filter, out of nowhere an associate jumps out my back demanding me if I had opened the filter to put it back I was shocked and to top it off the manager was right next to us simply watching us and didn t do a thing. I get to the register and a lady takes forever to check us out makes phone calls and to top it off starts opening my filters and says that she has to make sure they were the correct ones like if I don t know what I m doing. Taking my money somewhere else.

Today I took my car in for a new set of tires at around noon. They were super busy but was told it'd be done in 4 hours. I left and came back to check on the status of the order at 5pm. Well there was a mix up where my order was accidentally canceled. But Ms. Armida said she'd get the car in before the day was through. It was ready in an hour and a half and they discounted the cost of the balancing because of the mixup. The lady up at the front was always courteous despite being super busy and the technician apologized for the wait. It could have been a very bad experience but was satisfied with how they handled the matter.

I love WalMart. And it's only because of the people that work there. I went to the Auto shop this morning with a dead battery. The replacement I needed was not in stock and my car was dead at arrival. These guys helped me out beyond expectations. A big shout-out for Mohammad and Jamal. You guys make a difference. Experience at WalMart would not be the same, if not for guys like you. Thanks again and I'll keep coming.AQ

It was horrible!!! I went in for a oil change as I have before there and the first thing that happened was the guy asked me for my number, then said my name and asked to confirm, (so I'm thinking that they know what oil I need) then he asked me to sign (I did). I went shopping and came back to get my car and after I paid I noticed that the oil that they had on the document (Pennzoil 5w-20) wasn't the type of oil that goes in my car (Pennzoil 0w-20) and that I only payed $30 which should have been $55. So I go back in and a guy tells me that it's the right oil in my car and that it just rung up that way. That's understandable bc stuff happens. So I go to check my oil level and they didn't even put enough. So I tell the guy and he asked me to pull my car around so they can put more in it. But he pulls out Mobile 1 5w-20<< so I tell him that's not what is suppose to go in there and he tells me that, "it's better". I then tell him that it's suppose to be Pennzoil 0w-20 and him and the other workers tell me that I have to pay the difference. Why?? They messed up, not me!! It was just mistake after mistake with them. ALSO, as I watched them go service other vehicles, the same man is flooring the vehicle he's suppose to be bringing around, like speeding through the parking lot like he crazy, and half vacuumed seats. But I don't advise anyone to go there, because there is no telling what they've done to your vehicle.

They doesn't like to be complained for their mistakes. I have had to bad experiences and they tried to make feel that their mistakes were mine. How come if I don't work at Walmart i'm just a customer. Now the manager suggested me not to go to do the maintenance of my car.... like oil change. Also they broke the cover that goes under the engine of my SUV. My SUV it's a brand new SUV. It has barely 10000 miles and thanks God the are going to replace the part. Thanks Walmart.

Downright poor service in the auto department. Waited 10 minutes while listening to a barely lefible clerk argue with a customer on the phone. All i wanted was a trailer tire, the guy took 30 minutes to finally tell me to go out to the completely packed quick lane and talk to another guy. The guy outside made me wait another 10 minutes before acknowledgeing me, only to say "the guy inside could not look it up?, I dont have a computer out here and cant.help you, please go back in and talk to the guy at the counter".At that point i left and went next door to discount tire, was in and out in 20 mintues and spent 57 dollars tital with road hazard for my trailer tire, I did not have to do anything but take out my credit card, the got the tire from my truck, took care of it and reloaded it when done. To top it off, they checked and balanced air pressure in my truck tire before I left and this was their offer, I did not have to ask. Great job Discount tire... shame on you Walmart.
