I have relied on Dane s Auto Repair approaching 10 years. They have performed various repairs from radiator replacement, air conditioning, brakes to oil changes. The price has always been fair, the work has always been completed to my satisfaction and communication from start to finish has been second to none. Thank You Dane s for the quick, efficient and perfect repair each time I visit.

I have been bringing my vehicles here for well over 15 years. John and the staff have always been honest and fair. I have never had an issue of any kind with them. I highly recommend them as they are unique in the repair business with their history of honesty, transparency, and just genuinely being good people. And their repairs are always accurate and done right the first time. If I ever need a tow, I always use 290 Wrecker Service and they tow straight to them and never an issue. An overall great place in every aspect.

Dane s is the mechanic you want.Minor charge for the assessment, but they re honest and will NOT have you do work unless it is needed.I started using Danes ~4 years ago after moving to Cypress and my older mechanic out in Magnolia retired. Have been very happy.

Dane's Auto is a very honest car services and good job done.My engine was hearing unusual noise and John was quick and accurate to determined the causes and fixed it for me even he was busy with others works around .Highly recommended.!!

F150 Had ignition switch replaced because of intermittent no start.. Truck was covered in grease which John tried to wipe off . Two days later truck won t start, again. Towed in replaced ignition switch and requested transmission linkage service as gear selector was sloppy. Get truck back and next morning will not start. PROBLEM WAS FAULTY GROUND WIRE! Last week 12/23/22, truck would not go into gear Had towed to Tomball Diesel and issue was DANE s Mechanic did not tighten switch on transmission AND DID NOT INSTALL SAFETY CLIP. So because of Dane s misdiagnosis and sloppy work, I am out money, time, and trust.Service: Electrical

Recent transplant to Texas and have been looking for a good service shop. Found a great one. Very honest and professional! Took my car in for brakes, and they said I still had 50 to 60 percent life left. They rotated my tires as asked and I was on my way. They will be my go to for all service going forward.

We've been customers for years. We moved to Katy a few years back, tried a few shops in Katy and none of them compare to Dane's. We trust John, honest business man and quality work at reasonable prices. Customer service is always on point! Headed there now to pick up our 2005 Dodge Durango which has 220,000 miles and it's still going! Fuel pump this time. Exceptional repair shop and we highly recommend!!

We first took our vehicle to Dane's when not one but THREE of our neighbors recommended them. These folks have serviced both our cars - one GM and one Toyota - for the past 4+ years. All repairs have been completed when they told me they would be completed. Furthermore, they have honored each estimate they offered to the penny. They are simply the best in this area.

Very professional and competent but mostly importantly demonstrate excellent integrity. They've never charged me a price that wasn't fair. One time I even brought a baby stroller that had a bolt that had broken off and one of their technicians spent 15 minutes using a blowtorch to remove the bolt and fix it, they didn't expect anything from this at all (although I did give a tip). Always courteous and professional, even though I've moved to Tomball I still bring my vehicles here.

Dane's Auto Repair is wonderful. I was referred there by a client at a chiropractors office. My brakes sounded like gravel. They fit me in late in the day to check my car and worked my car into their schedule the next day! It runs and sounds so much better! Referrals work!

Had my oil changed at this facility, the people were friendly. I felt the confidence of the office staff and the bay workers they wanted to do your car right. It was a few jokes but business from start to finish. My car ran like a top some how seeming better going out than coming in.

I have brought my truck to Danes 3 times to have to oil and filter changed, even providing both oil and filter atleast once - come to find out recently my filter has NOT been changed by them even once. Also, the last trip they didnt put a mileage sticker after the oil change. Considering I very Specifically mentioned the filter needing to be changed each time and the nice gentleman behind the desk saying "no problem ", this was no accident or oversight. This should be CRIMINAL, I've put thousands of miles on my truck for work with the expectation and understanding that my vehicle was being properly maintained by a professional. BE AWARE.

I recently went to Dane's to get a repair to my 2000 Avalon that had been caused by negligence at another auto shop. John at Dane's found the problem with my previous timing belt/water pump installation and corrected it perfectly.John went the extra mile and document his work, so I could go on to successfully dispute the previous repair charges with the other negligent auto repair shop.They did a great job at the right price; I am glad that they are in the neighborhood.Much Thanks!Wil Hamblin

Really appreciated the service they gave me. I had to get my alternator replaced the day before a holiday, and they had it done early and charged me $200 less than the quote I got from another repair shop.
