Looking for that A+ auto mechanic? Yes, they still exist! Look no further! Corey at Auto-Scan is the guy! He's truly honest, has affordable pricing, and absolutely no nickel and diming on issues that do not need to be fixed. I went to Auto-Scan once before and had the motor mount replaced. No complaints. Since then, I went to Sun Automotive for a routine oil change. BIG mistake (see my review under Sun Automotive on yelp for details). I learned not to go back to those big talking auto shops and stick to the real mechanic that truly cares about getting your vehicle running safely and not hurting your wallet! Corey was able to remove the dipstick that was broken inside (after the oil change at Sun Automotive ) without having to replace the entire unit....saved me a few hundred $$. He also referred Houston Automatic Transmission for a transmission rebuild. Took about a week, but the best price in town. When your mechanic refers them, please listen. They stick to that price, and their work! I'll be taking my car to Corey at Auto-Scan from now on! Routine maintenance and all!

This family owned business is humble AND professional! My sons and I have brought our cars here and they always do a efficient job taking care of the problem and in a timely manner. They know what they are doing and know how to care for the customer and charge about half the price of a dealership, don't waste your time or hard earned money going anywhere else

I have been bringing my vehicles here since the late 90's. Honest, professional and knowledgeable - a rare triple threat. Family owned and operated local business is a bonus! Trustworthy mechanic. I've brought multiple cars here and have had serious jobs done, each time it was done correctly and for an appropriate price. It's really hard to find a place you can trust. You'll be relieved to bring your problem here, because they will fix it.

Randy and Corey have been great to deal with. I trust them. They know the technical side well, they're honest and they helped me to plan what things to ignore on our older car, and what things to repair or replace and when. We used them exclusively for about 8 years -- until we moved overseas...

I can't say enough about Auto Scan. Corey and his father have run this business for three generations of car owners. I know friends of mine who used Auto Scan when they were kids. Honest (did I say HONEST), value priced and excellent service. They never upsell you or recommend fixes that aren't necessary. I cant believe it only took me 18yrs to leave a review. Randy and now his son Corey are as honest as the day is long. I have recommended them to friends and family for years so what more is there to say??? If they cant fix it they are honest enough to say that up front and help guide you to who they would recommend, how many mechanics do that?I almost don't want to post this (yes purely selfish reasons), but I have to after all these years of not leaving a review. Rare find! You just don't find good honest mechanics like this very often. Family owned/operated, veterans, responsive, knowledgeable, honest, super competitive rates, I just can't say enough good things about Corey and his family business they've built. All great folks! They are our go-to for everything from oil changes to major repairs, and it's always a positive experience!

I trust Auto-Scan. Been doing all my oil changes and repairs for our three vehicles since 2009. I trust Cory with my Corvette. Very competent. Fair prices. You actually talk to mechanic as opposed to a service writer.

My family has been taking our cars to Auto-Scan for years and have always been impressed with the work they do. Randy and his crew are great. They are HONEST, they will not price gouge or try to make you do unnecessary repairs. Even after moving across town, we still take our cars out to him because it's well worth it!

Stopped by Tuesday evening to get a quote and time frame on repairs for my Q7. Was told the next day what price I would be looking at (great price), and that if I dropped off Wednesday I would get my vehicle back Friday (parts had to be ordered from Audi, wouldn't come in til the next day, and a day's worth of work). I knew I had to drive to Canada on Friday, so I told them to go ahead and get it booked, and let's just get it done as fast as possible. Got a call on Thursday morning, car was ready to go (THURSDAY!!). Corey knew I had to hit the road, stayed late and got everything fixed way ahead of schedule. I can't say thank you enough guys, hoping this post shows how much I appreciate the work.Don't even go anywhere else!

Three years ago we moved to Houston and it was recommended that I take my vehicle to Randy. They were able to get me right in - made the repairs. Top notch job. Told me that some previous recommended work from somewhere else was not necessary. I have since taken all my repairs to Auto-Scan and everyone that I meet that has car difficulty, I tell them to go to Auto-Scan.

Trustworthy. Timely. Professional. If you're tired of constantly being sold extra service and just want an honest, professional diagnosis and the issue Auto Scan is the place. We've been using them for five plus years now!

Honest. Great work. Very knowledgeable. My granddaughter had her car worked on by several mechanics, all throwing parts at her car. Took her car to Auto-Scan and the mechanic found the problem and fixed the car (could have taken advantage of me). Still running today. Thank you Auto-Scan.

These guys treat you fair. They dont do coupons or cheap oil changes but I have trusted them with all of our vehicles for over 15 years. I recommend the initial lookover as step one. They charge for this but you will find out what (if anything) is wrong and they can help prioritize what is critical or not.

I have brought in 2 vehicles with 4 problems in the last month or so. I wish I had done it sooner. Each time they fixed the problem correctly at a fair price. Im really glad I found them.
