King size bed was very comfortable. Never ran out of hot water & the water is soft, but not too soft. Staff was amazing!!Just wish the Hot tub was working. The pool was dirty too.Other than that it's a Great Hotel!!!

I give this room a 5 star because we were traveling n needed a place to rest for the night ,this place was not only affordable but it was a very nice clean room,cold air and bed is super comfortable, good pillows.very clean nice and comfortable place .I highly recommend Texas hotel if you need a place to stay n rest. Furniture is beautiful as well.

Says they have a full breakfast nook. But it doesn't. Only thing they serve for breakfast is a Danish and a piece of fruit. Spider webs in the lamps. Vent in my bathroom wasn't working. Hot tub isn't even a hot tub. Rooms are too dark. Not enough lighting. Wifi worked sometimes. My room smelled like cigarettes. Outside trash cans were always overflowing. I think I will be staying somewhere else.

Clean, friendly and very well priced. Will definitely return. The "hot tub" is not an actual hot tub. It's more like a whirl pool, the jets aren't strong and the water temperature was at 88 degrees and they wont raise it till September. But the pool is really nice

Stayed here for a whole weekend. It was very quiet and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The lobby, pool and ground were all very clean and well maintained. The room got a bit humid, but once we cranked the AC that seemed to fix the problem. Overall a great experience for the price!

Furniture is wooden and rustic. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom was clean except for some noticeable stains on the towels probably makeup or grease. Rates were reasonable and the air conditioning system and heating systems both work very well. Temperatures were not restricted and the thermostat is accurate. A nice clean place to spend the night. Just make sure to examine your towels and ask for new ones if they are stained.

Room was clean and nice. The queen bed was so soft and comfortable. I suffer with back and neck issues and I had no pain when I woke up. FYI: This place is the only pet friendly hotel in Cuero. So we stayed one night for a family get together and brought my small dog. Hotel Texas was first rate. Definitely stay there again if I'm in town.

Our little family had a wonderful long stay in Room #108! NO bed bugs. The bed was comfy and pillows were also. The TV and channels worked, so did the fridge, microwave and guest ice machine. Whenever we needed anything, we'd leave the Do Not Disturb OFF of the door and house cleaning would take care of us. They've got HOT eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, optional toast/bread and coffee every morning along with cold cereal, mini muffins, milk, and juices. If the supply was ever low or out, we'd just ask front desk if they could make more as long as it was before 9 a.m. Breakfast is 6-9 a.m. which was a little early for our two under 2 to get ready for in the morning, but worked out most days. The pool is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and was always open and clean, but that meant no swimming before 100�+ weather and by 5 p.m., when the temperature would go down, the pool was already filled with others smoking and drinking alcohol. Apon arriving, we noticed the floors and couch needed to be vacuumed (Nerf gun bullets all around and some unknown medication along the night stand) The tiled floor, when wet, would turn into a brown, bubbly, slippery mess and bare feet on the carpet turned toddler's feet black after 10 minutes of walking around. The shower head pressure was quite low but the hot water lasted the few extra minutes it took to wash up. We had a comfortable stay and appreciated the kind hospitality. If need be, we will definitely be staying again!

A nice and quiet place to stay away from all the big chain Hotels. Great rates and very clean. Beds were comfortable. I work in the oilfield so I'm always gone before breakfast is served. The front desk lady was very polite and personable.

Wonderful place to stay! We've stayed multiple different times for work & have had nothing but great experiences here every single time!!! Very clean rooms, SUPER comfy beds & an amazing staff that has gone above & beyond to accommodate us!! Would highly recommend staying at this place!!

I came in with my sister, so the room was in her name. Friendly staff, great breakfast, rooms are comfortable EXCEPT for the fact that the beds were so high I had trouble getting in and out of it. I had an accident a few weeks ago, that I'm recovering from so the high were really a challenge. It's even difficult for someone that isn't injured. Will come back next year but please put step ladders by the beds or cut them down a little bit.

Great little place, small in size, keeps it from being loud and crowded. GREAT rooms, awesome bed, staff is great and always able to help. I came to stay for a couple days while waiting for another hotel. I cancelled the other hotel and have been staying here ever since, I don't plan to leave until my job is done and head out somwhere else. Love it!

Stayed there one night..... the bed was comfortable, sheets, covers nice, fresh and clean and overall about what I expected for the reasonable price, however the carpet was filthy....full of hair... looked like pet hair.... I intended to tell someone at the front desk but when I went for breakfast there was no one around.I do not normally write reviews but this time its different because I was born and raised in Cuero and expect much better that what I found.

Working man's motel, Breakfast served for those that can sleep late. I have to leave before 6, so I didn't get to taste it. Room was clean enough & shower had hot water and plenty pressure. Bed and pillows were good. HVAC unit worked well. Walls are a little thin. **Note to management: A noisy fan in the room would help drown out the noise from next door tenants. Shower curtain was installed improperly allowing water on the floor. I had to rehang it.**I sleep light so it may not bother others. Receipt for records was not available at check out time. At noon still hadn't received the email they promised. So a call was made. Receipt was emailed promptly after calling. Shower curtain was installed improperly allowing water on the floor. I had to rehang it. All in all great value.

It was okay. The beds were soft and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was not as clean as I am used to. My husband complained that the room smelled faintly of smoke, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Clean rooms, attentive staff that was also very friendly. Only problem if you want to call it a problem, is the fire alarms went off a few different times during the night. One time for about 20mins straight. Unfortunate but these things happen from time to time. Have gone back since then and no issues at all with the fire alarms!

Quiet, clean and friendly staff..But no breakfast due to covid19. Gap in the door rm 104 had bugs coming into the room, phone cord is broken. The shower pressure is outstanding

Very very happy with this place. We had to cancel from another hotel cause the beds were so hard it felt lime like we slept on a box spring. We were going to go drive straight thur back home but we were so tired and stopped here and we were very glad we did. This place is clean and beds are so comfortable this is one place that will get our business everytime.

The manager is a PTA. He won't work with you, our stay is on going a week at a time paid for by State Farm Insurance. But keeps stopping our digital key from working. We also have 4 dogs with us, so we clean our own room, we just ask for bags and towels and do it ourselves so the dogs don't bark. Don't stay here it's a run down motel. Not taken care of, very dingey. This was the only room we could get evacuating a hurricane. Since we lost home we're stuck.

Looks great on the outside. Don't have problems with people messing with your vehicle. Good lay out for a hotel. Has small pool. Next to hospital in case you get sick. It has it's perks.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The front desk were very nice and polite and so were the housekeeping staff. The breakfast was so good!!! My husband and i recommend hotel... thank you ryan and lisamarie CANTU
