Definitely cheap for a reason. When we got into our room the bed skirts were messed up like the beds were half a** put together, the carpet was wet, the sink had splashed water on it, and there was only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper left. We asked about getting a different room which was even worse. No bed covers, smelled like cigarettes, no toilet paper and the TV was left on in both rooms. Luckily had friends that let us stay in an RV with them. I paid for two nights in advance and didn t even use one.

Horrible all around. From front desk very rude and dressed as if they just jumped out of bed. ( sweater, shorts and flipflops) Rooms dirty, dusty, moldy and falling apart. No breakfast but on website its advertised free continental breakfast, wrong rate as advertised basically don't get fooled by the website. According to the manager Alex flip-flop guy, they don't have the budget for breakfast not even coffee that is made as requested. No budged for repairs or upgrades aswell. Normally I dont complain but after the no coffee and breakfast issue i was like okay whats going on here. Got in late after a long drive, kids were cranky, everyone just wanted to sleep. Woke up to all the issues and especially No coffee not good. After going back and forth with manager I called and complained to corporate and was informed the price difference was for much larger and more accommodating room which I didn't receive. Go back to office to inform Alex (manager), o there was coffee made, raisin bran and coco puff cereal no milk on the counter. Alex was annoyed by me he covered his ears and said you are right I'm going to refund you $25 just to shut you up. Wow!I have pictures. So worth going somewhere els next time.Rooms: Falling apart, dirty, dusty, moldy, stinkyFood & drinks: No breakfast or coffee

Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean, and smelled clean. For under 60$ you get a deal and quiet environment. Housekeeping were friendly and happy to help. I ve stayed at dirt cheap hotels and couldn t get a ounce of sleep from smells, nosies, rude employees and overall bad experiences. But this one was very nice and I felt safe. Will definitely come againSafety: The staff and location.

Honestly, if I could give no Star I would. I really tried to work with these people, a very dirty room with dust and dead insects in every single corner. They don't clean as they claim to clean, my camera recorded the cleaning and all they do is change the bathroom towel and take the trash. I kept asking the guy at the front desk for them to at least vacuum and clean but he said he suggests that I look for another place to stay. My husband had to come help me clean my room, to make it manageable for me but I lost it when I found a scorpion in my bathroom. That was when I cancelled my stay. I have pictures to support this.

First room given didn't lock properly (121) . We complained. They then gave us a room upstairs, so we moved our belongs upstairs. The door locked properly. We come back to the room after our day out. The room reeks of cigarettes. We sprayed lysol lin the room. Then we noticed cigarettes ashes on the bathroom floor. We go to crawl in bed and noticed a plastic bag on the smoke detector. Overall a bad experience with this stay.We will not stay at this chain.

The hotel looks very clean! Nice front desk. But the curtain is very weird, can t pull the curtains together, so I need to use the blind stick to stick in the curtain hole to make the curtain together. Nonetheless, I still very much recommend it!

No stars, had to give one star to post review. I usually stay at Baymont. Every hotel was booked, due to an event. America s Best Value Inn was the only thing available. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, making our stay unpleasant. I coughed all night. Our room was infested with flies. The owner/staff stated, Because your room is near the trash! The microwave had food from previous occupants( oil field workers). I will book in Victoria(30 min. drive), if necessary, next time.

Immediately upon opening the room to my door I was hit with the strong odor of cigarette smoke (I do not recall requesting a smoking room). It had been an extremely long day of work so I decided to put up with the smell for the night, as I was staying somewhere else the following nights. After being in the room a couple of hours, the cigarette smell started to give me a head and stomach ache. I decided to call the front desk and ask if I could be switched to a non-smoking room, which I did not think would be an issue since there were at most ten other vehicles in the parking lot. I was told by the man at the front desk that the rooms were 100% non-smoking and that they had no extra rooms for the night. I then asked him why the room smelled so bad and why there was an ash tray sitting on the desk. He replied that "someone must have brought it from somewhere". I decided to sleep in my truck for the night, rather than become sick from the odor. I will NEVER stay here again and would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE.

I stay at this hotel from May 27th, 2022 till May 29th, 2022. Went to bed Friday night. Woke up Saturday morning (May 28th). To to both of my arms itching. Came to realize that I had got bitting by bed bugs. My daughter has pictures of the bed bugs that was in the bed. Even thought they gave me another room .I will never stay at this hotel again.

For a room under $60, Not bad at all. We had a nice stay overall and affordable rate. Room was clean. They also had a few iteams for breakfast like sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a job ... Rooms were clean amd nice . hotel staff great although they did forget our towels. No biggie we brought extras, comfy beds though the breakfest they serve needs to be updated as it was only two options and could have been healthier options such as fruit amd what not. Ac/heater work amazing... Our rooms were nice amd warm after leaving heater on for about 10 min

I absolutely have no idea how this place got such a high review rate. The room was disgustingly dirty. It was difficult to even get a hold of a manager to complain. I would definitely never stay there again. For just a few dollars more, I could have had a better experience next door. I would fire the people who were supposedly cleaning the rooms.

Horrible experience. People grilling off end of truck backed up to room playing loud music. Door wouldnt deadbolt. No bath mat. No coffee amenities. Told served breakfast til 8. Sign in very dirty lobby says 9:30. Out of coffee, orange juice and milk at 8 am. Bugs on floor. One staff not cooperative. Kept blaming housekeeping. I saw no housekeeping anywhere! Was the same and Only staff I saw when checked in and left. On his phone constantly. Workers honking car horns at 6:45 am. Road noises terrible. Fan on ac wouldnt drown out noise.

Its an overall OK hotel for having a sleep, if you dont mind a few things, it could do a bit better on the cleaning side. Wifi didnt reach my room even though i was at the middle of the hotel and i got this faint cigarette smell in my room all the time. It wasnt a big deal for me but thats just me.

This is one employee only hotel, and seems to live there beside the frontdesk. We oil workers are frequent clients for all hotels in the area, and this hotel is now one of the worst. Rooms are not cleaned every day, maybe every 3-4 days if you go and complain to the one employee they have which only know how to say sorry but not fix the problem. The toilets are leaking, the bathube is starting to corrode. I recommended my company not to book rooms there anymore.

Rooms are clean and very nice. The price is affordable on a small budget. The grounds could use a little TLC, but the fact that they are pet friendly more than makes up for that.

At the time of this review is have only stayed one "night" (I work nights, so technically one morning). I found the hotel so far to be clean and well maintained. I can't speak to long term experience thus far.

This was not a good experience! First we were late arrivals and the cleaning staff leaves the lights in the wrong seting so you have to go into the room and find a lamp instead of just turning on the switch by the door, and that is the common practice because we stayed two nights and left it right but it was wrong when we came back for the second night. Also they have a water softener but don't have grips on the bottoms of the tubs. On our first morning there I suffered a nasty fall that split my heel open. They did not repair the damage to the tub or offer to switch us to another room leaving showering dangerous at best and bathing impossible. I have yet to see what reparations the inn is going to make but I am sure it will be nothing if I don't force them. We shall see.... Also, based on the website, they were selling out quickly but upon arrival there was only one other room occupied.

It's an older ok property that needs updating. You have to remember that it's a $58/night hotel. You get what you pay for. It worked out fine for what we needed. Make sure to visit the Green Cow Ice Cream shop!Food & drinks: Visit The Green Cow Ice Cream downtown and Taqueria Jalisco for the best and most affordable Mexican food!

Room and as most clean. The chair in the room had dirt stains all over it, and the AC had either rust or blood on it. Didn't get to close to check. Staff was nice but communication was a little hard.

No pool. But if that is not a deal breaker, I recommend this hotel. Very clean modern rooms, helpful & polite staff, peace & quiet, lots of parking, and not a bad breakfast. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in at the low end price range.

Comfy and clean. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Be ready for house keeping to wake you up at 8 am though

Called about 6-7 pm on sun spoke 2 a lady gave m a price arrived 12:30 am mon OH NO can't let m have 4 price I was told by the lady earlier in the evening he wanted to show me all the invoices for the other people told him I can't help what they pay I know what she quoted me that's why I'm here told me oh no she didn't tell you that yes she did I stay in a different hotel every night for my job these people need to realize the oil boom is over in this part of Texas they build all these hotels in this little town now they want to charge outrageous prices not keep their word if they quote a price they should have to stick to it I will pass along to everyone that I know who also stay in a different hotel every night for work purposes I get so much money each night for my motel I always check I always call and when somebody tells me a price I expected to be that price when I Drive to their establishment bad communications from one shift to another and then do not appreciate him telling me she did not quote me that price

We are staying at the one in Cuero, Tx and we really like it here. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and they provide breakfast in the morning. A great place to stay!

There were dead bugs all inside the restroom. Atleast 20 of them. A big spider in the shower, the bed was covered in hair.

Stayed here for thanksgiving week and the price was good for the stay. Room was nice and clean. Staff was nice as well. Would stay here again
