I have a 2021 Tesla Model 3 and had 2 different people hit me in 2 separate instances. I took my car to 5 different auto body shops here in Corpus Christi and all 5 of those shops said that they didn't work on Teslas and all referred me to Rick's Detailing so i did. Family owned and operated they deserve a 10 Star review. Everywhere I went said go to Rick's when I met Rick Sr. the owner very honest and personable. What a great family and did top notch work on my New car. I was blown away by the quality of workmanship and prices. So happy that no one else had the confidence to work on my car. I let my Insurance Company know the amazing finished product that they did. Thank you Rick , Rich and the rest of the awesome team of craftsman and women I will be letting anyone that asks exactly where your located5146 Ayers St, Corpus Christi, TX 78415

My mother Carmen came to this place by recommendation. The guy Rick was nice in the beginning. The car was getting a paint job and detailing. Well the problem is that the passenger airbag light DOESN'T come on when it supposed to. She took the car back to them and they supposedly fixed it. (It still doesn't work.) My mom went back and he (RICK) spoke to her with so much disrespect, saying that she has to pay for him to check it and pay for parts if it's a fault on her side... mind u, when the car first went in it was working fine. My mother left there in tears. And from the reviews seems like they are known to damage things and have people pay to fix it. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY ARE STEALING YOUR MONEY AND DAMAGING YOUR CAR.Services: Auto detailing, Paint repair

Rick's Detailing literally saved us ! We were in the process of moving to Corpus when my car was hit in a hotel parking lot. I didn't think it was too bad - just a bumper, but I opened a claim on it anyway. My insurance company steered me to a local chain that was terrible! They wanted to total my car. When I said no, I want to save it - they lost all interest in trying to help me. I was referred to Rick's and was so happy! They went to pick up my car (twice - because the other shop wouldn't release it the first time) and fixed it up good as new. It is an older car but it still runs great and I wasn't wanting to buy another car in the middle of a move. Rick and his team definitely went above and beyond. They kept in constant communication and did an excellent job. They even came in well under what our insurance company paid us for the vehicle so that was a total blessing. They even cleaned it inside and out! Superior customer service! I hope I don't need a body shop again any time soon but if I do it will be Rick's Detailing! Thank you Rick and team!!!

Was okay at best...... they worked fast to fix my 2012 f150. However in the process off taking off the bed they tore the back up camera wire and claimed no responsibility. They did take 100 off of our deductible that we owed them. (The part was 374) When we drove the truck home they failed to reconnect the rear lights so we didn't have working lights, they also did not put our tool box back on our truck bed. We took the truck back to have those issues corrected. 7 months down the road one of the tail lights they installed started to get water in them. I called them 4 times just asking for a receipt from the manufacturer or for them to replace it. (If it was new they would have it) I could only assume they replaced the part with a used one or after market. The parts come with a one year warranty so it should have been as easy and just getting it replaced. I used to recommend this shop as i also had 2 other cars repaired there, but quality and overall service has gone down. I won't be going back in the future.

I see some of these reviews saying the staff is rude but i had a completely different experience. Augie helped me right away and took care of me every step of the way. I took in my 2016 Tacoma in for work on my rear bumper and paint and what can i say they did an amazing job. These guys are awesome and will definitely be doing business with them in the future. I'm still mind blown on how great the communication and service Rick Detailing provided for me! Great job you guys and THANK YOU!!!

I've been getting my car serviced here for over a year and every time I go the woman in the front is very kind, polite and professional. She handles all customers with courtesy and care. I highly recommend Rick's Detailing due to their great customer service and professional detail.

Rick's Detail and Body Shop is the Best there is! 6 years ago they did some custom work and polishing on my car.Every year he made it look like new. Nowthey just finished the interior and exterior of my 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT. The car looks like it just came from the new car showroom with some custom modifications.Rick is great to deal with and prices are fair but they go beyond to give you the best service and quality.Thanks Rick and your team.

The paint work was nice but otherwise, huge disappointment with how my car was handled. Went back because my fog lamp bracket was siliconed in place (silicone is literally covering my entire fog lamp bracket) and the owner danced around the issues blaming me for having needed it back today and that I was expecting something perfect. No, I did not need the car back today and no I didn't expect it to be perfect but I also didn't expect it to be trashed either. I'd also like to add that the owner claimed the part didn't fit but this is actually the correct part for my car. So all in all, I know a lot of people like this place but I had a very bad experience here.Also, he did offer to fix the car after an unnecessary argument but I don't trust that my car will be fixed properly so I'll just do it myself...

Very professional work. My front part was falling off due to hitting a deer. Now my Audi A3 looks brand new....I was very impressed....thank you to Rick's team :)

My wife's infinity g37 was hit on the rear bumper. only had the car a couple of months. These guys did the job in 4 hours for half of what the other body shops wanted. looks perfect very happy.

What an awesome job this body shop did on my Cadillac. I never thought it would look this good. My car had been in a fender bender and Ricks went over and above to make my car look brand new. I will recommend this shop to all my friends!!

I seriously doubt this place is getting voted best of the best every year, and if it is I don't see how! The owner is rude and doesn't deliver work as promised. Basically a insurance con artist. I was told I would be receiving new replacement parts for my car and it was just bondo'd up and painted over. I had to take my car back to have the front end realigned since it was thrown off some how during repair. not during collision, REPAIR! When you question the owner about anything he gets angry and condescending.

I had my interlock on for 2.5 years, these people (RICK 'S DETAILING 5146 AYERS ST, CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS) were nice for that long, once I was allowed to remove my device, it's like additudes changed for the worse. Now all of a sudden i had to pay my whole calibration monthly fee for a month even though i was scheduled to remove it 4 days later. They dont believe in pro-rating, how convenient. Four days later i took my vehicle to have my interlock removed and i had to wait 3 hours before they had a technician remove it, Why, because they were out to lunch at 1:30 and they apparently take 2 hour lunches. And quote she said "that's why you should have made an appointment". The technicians got there and i still had to wait longer. To make it even worse they charged me $45 to remove the interlock. I will never step foot in there again. I will tell all my friends and family to do the same!!! So do yourself a favor take you business elsewhere!! The technicians have no fault they only do what they are instructed to do, hands out to them. But ladies customers should always be treated with respect no matter what the situation might be. You just lost business from this customer, friendsand family!!!

If I could give this review no stars I would. This place is a joke. I took my car to put some quarter window louvers and they almost flew off while I was driving they were hanging by the tape. I took it back and he said it was the tape American muscle sent that it was light and cheap so he offered to use his tape which is stronger and thicker and said he had his tech sand it down for a proper fit..why not do this the first time instead of waiting? Then about a week later same thing they almost flew off again driving on the road fixing to go back to see what they are going to say if he s going to try and blame something else now.

This place is awful. I'm sitting in here right now because my breathalyzer started smoking. I bring it in and from the moment I walked in everyone seemed to be in a bad mood. I didn't turn my car off because I knew it wouldn't start again and I walked in to ask where do park it and they just looked at me with this blank look on their faces. Then, the manager starts trying to tell me that it is all my fault. Still sitting here no body is even looking at my truck I'm now late for work and I'm pretty certain that when five o'clock rolls around they're going to tell me they will have to fix it tomorrow. Which would be nice to know before I'm an hour late to work. Oh well.Rude people, don't care to take care of their customers, seem to not even want to speak to me. Unfortunately this is the only place in corpus who does smart start but I will never do actual work to my car here.

Bad serviceI took in my 2017 Camery to repair right rear back panel..got hit by a lady that opened her door too hard. The estimate was over 1200. The insurance was only covering around 360.00. Rick ower States that to match the color to the right rear panel the right door and rear bumper had to be matched sprayed. After much determination rick invoiced for all three to be panted. Funny when i picked up the car the only thing that was painted was right rear panel. Nothing to the right rear door nor rear bumper. But was invoiced for payment for pane, door and rear panel. His son and i inspected the car asked his son did your dad do all the repairs he said yes. I said funny cause the back door still has my finger nail scratches. If your dad had repaired painted the rear door it would have no finger nail marks. To me this is FRAUD CLAIM. I also paid him to under coat my car and he did a very poor job. I even showed his son. And asked him what am i suppose to do he just walked away notting jis head. I called the insurance agent to notify them of what rick had invoiced was fraud. I won't be returning to Ricks. The under coating wasn't completely done. His son even noticed and pointed out the in purfection of the under coating. Not onlt cause I'm a girl i wont lay on the floor to check my car.SHAME ON YOU RICK!

I definitely will be coming back to Rick s! I had problems with my radio & I brought it to them & fixed everything within an hour. Great customer service & very satisfied.

The owner offered my husband a job, then asked him to start earlier, to which my husband agreed, only to be texted last night telling him he would call him at 10 am. When he did Rick told my husband that he was rescinding his offer because he was giving the job to his friend. Morally deprived, with no integrity.

Great people but since they installed the machine in my truck washer squitters don't work and the heater don't work their service and attitude are awesome would recommend them anytime but check everything before you leave the property

Paid to have truck buffed and detailed. Great job on buffing but detailing was a waste of money. Had to go to another shop to have truck cleaned up right.Service: Auto detailingService: Auto detailing
