All I can say is I ve been going to Marcus for years never had an issue. He is the only one that touches my Diesel and I have Never had a problem whatsoever after he worked on my vehicles or my friends vehicles that s the only place my truck is going when you want quality work at a fair price this is where you go, you don t go to the dealerships you go to somebody knows what s going on and when there s a problem talk to the owner .Hale Of a Mechanic

If you want to be without a vehicle for months , then when returned with additional problems, then this is the place.Had my truck for 45 days for transmission replacement, returned with check engine light, and additional problems. Transmission never shifted correctly again, and started failing 1 yr later. Had other friends tell me Marcus takes extremely long time for the simplest tasks, NOT RECOMMENDED! Just my honest review.I'm not going to gamble with extended wait times for the return of the vehicle, also Marcus, you failed to mention the part about the check engine light that was illuminated when picking up the vehicle, you were not there and the mechanic that was there said he had no knowledge to attend to the problem, not very customer service oriented. Still not willing to come back or recommend your shop, too many complaints from other past customers.

I would give higher stars if I could! This is a terrific place for mechanic needs. Extremely professional & polite, communication skills are outstanding, service is quick & prices are MORE THAN FAIR!I had my belt snap on the highway, at night going out of Corpus so I called this place & to my surprise it was open somewhat late, on a Friday!! That was already a plus. Marcus from get go was extremely polite & professional. He explained it's best to have it towed & dropped off. He also went out of his way to search for a belt that night, even though, the auto stores were going to close, he also assured me getting it there was the best option both for the car and the cost. His communication was outstanding and put me at ease. Next day as promised, the belt was on & working fine again! I really highly do recommend this place, if you want great service! The customer service there will absolutely make me a returning customer.

I am not from TX and was here visiting my in-laws when my in-law s car air conditioner stopped blowing cold air. I m called and spoke with Marcus who told me to come over and he can try charging it. My husband and I drove over and Marcus charged it and replaced a part that was leaking. Service was quick, courteous and professional. The cost was less than we thought it would be. This place is amazing. Had my 67,500 emissions service come due on our Dodge Ram and the dealership wanted close to $2000. Marcus did a great job for a much better price.Marcus is the kind of guy you keep on your speed dial because when other places can't help you with an emergency, he will find a way.He saved my bacon a couple times now and prices are always reasonable. Thank you so much!

I'm not one to leave much reviews, but after my experience i wouldn't want anyone to go through what i went through at this shop. This was by far the worst shop experience i have ever had. I took in my 2006 f250 6.0 powerstroke because it had a common no start when warm start issue. And it wasn't drastic you would just have to wait about 10 min to start it after it was warm.. other than that truck ran perfectly, until i took it to this shop. This guy sounded like he knew what he was doing, but had no idea what he was doing. He gave me a quote for 2100$ and said it wouldn't take longer than a week and he'd have it ready. Well Guy (owner) never worked on the truck till a month later. Then when he did work on it he completely ruined my wiring harness,ficm, and also my radio. After that he had to take it to a ford dealership so they could figure out the problem. And they charged him 400$ to figure out the problem. So what does he do, charges me 400$ more.. took him 4 months to put my truck back together, even when i told him I really needed my truck to tow my travel trailer back. He did not care still took his time. And once he supposedly finished my truck he chraged me 2500 for nothing.. actully the truck was in worst condition it now misfires, shifts poorly, also randomly turns off while driving it .. and when i told him to refund me my money he ignores me and never answers. also be ready for him not to answer any calls ignore you while hes working on yiur truck/car. i would not recommend someone like this to anyone, but you all can make your choice. Also had to pay a tow truck and someone to haul my trailer beacuse of this shop right here.. worst experience ever!!! Never again taking anything near that place!!

Very dependable and honest mechanic. Took my 2005 expedition to get the spark plugs replaced. Keep in mind the plugs in these types of engines are notorious for getting stuck. If that would've happened the repair would've cost more. I honestly thought he would've said a few got stuck. There are some mechanics that would've done so for an extra buck. But Marcus is an honest man he got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and for a great price. I would definitely recommend him and trust him with any automotive repairs. Thanks Marcus

I brought my vehicle in after it locked up and was getting the run around from another shop. He was understanding and between our conversations and his "stellar" google reviews, I trusted him to get the job done. Instead, he messed with things that were not issues and when I decided not to finalize repairs with his shop, he intentionally set my engine up to hydrolock and flood with diesel. Three diagnostics from the prior shop never mentioned issues with the injectors, he never asked to pull them, never asked to send them to be properly tested, then he tested them on a system not equipped to properly test according to the leading company that tests them, Industrial Solutions, and to attempt to prove a point has damaged several other parts.

I want to be clear here so there's no confusion. I called Marcus' Auto Repair and Diesel Service on July 4th, 2020. We were surprised to have someone answer the phone and sound somewhat knowledgeable about my 2009 F250 6.4l powerstroke diesel. He told us it wasn't an issue and that if we brought it in on Monday he would look at it right away. He scheduled a tow service to get my truck towed to him that he would add to the final bill which i liked. Tow truck delivered my truck to him on 7/6/20 at 9:30am. I, then, went to meet him at the shop to discuss what symptoms my truck was having. His tools and entire parking lot was littered with tools and taken apart cars including his office/waiting area. He had turbos and shocks and all type of car parts and tools scattered everywhere. I should have trusted my gut when i saw this and taken my truck elsewhere. It shows complete disarray and cleanliness really shows you a lot about a person.As i was leaving he said he would have it fully diagnosed and price for repair by Wednesday, 7/8/20 but he kept saying, "Pretty sure its going to be your High Pressure Fuel Pump". Now, granted, i did tell him i wasn't in a huge rush to get my truck back but i needed to know the price of the repairs pretty quickly so i knew if i was going to repair the truck or do a complete motor swap. He assured me that i would have a price by 7/8/20. I left Corpus and went back home to Dallas in a rental car and called/texted several times from 7/8/20-7/10/20. I only got a response when i sent several messages back to back. He told me on 7/9/20 that they planned to diagnose the truck on 7/13/20. I was understanding as I know that you can get slammed and most customers need their cars back ASAP and since i told him I was okay with the repair taking a couple of weeks, i was fine with that.On Monday at 4:30pm, I called for an update to see if he had diagnosed and has a price for me. He, again, told me, "only thing I've done is drain your oil. But, I'm pretty sure it's going to be your High Pressure Fuel Pump." This shop has now had my truck for 8-9 full days without even running a diagnostic test on my truck.At this point, I immediately called a freight company to go pick up my truck ASAP. I asked Marcus to have my truck closed up, do not put oil back in it, just leave it alone and release my truck to a driver that was coming. on 7/15/20. I was charged $220 to have my truck towed 4 miles (which i was told by Marcus the tow was $85-$95) and for my truck to get the oil drained and sit there for 8-9 days to collect dust.If i could do it over again, i would have paid to tow my truck straight to Dallas and not leave it with Marcus at all. Most of his reviews are for gasoline engines. I would take a guess that this shop is not a Diesel Mechanic as they advertise. If you have a diesel, stray away and take it an actual DIESEL MECHANIC.

The local Ford dealership offered a $180 up front charge to diagnose my vehicle, though I was 95% sure my DEF pump was bad. Midas stated they didnt do the DEF work. These guys at Marcus' immediately checked that my assumption was correct (and for free) and offered a few different options. They immediately began work and ensured my system was replaced expeditiously.

I hit a curb and it blew the transmission on my Jetta VW at 3 am on a Saturday and he was able tow my vehicle immediately to his shop and got an estimate the next morning . Trustworthy guy with great prices for genuine work. Now I get my oil change from him or any work I need .

He helped me get towed to his shop when my ball joint broke leaving me stranded from outta town and fixed it that night . And he Does a awesome job no matter how long he has to work day or night he gets it done a fast as he can the right way. He treats you with respect and like friends and family not just like a check book. Thanks Marcus

Great local shop. Laid back atmosphere with highly skilled technicians. This is the only shop that I'll go to for my truck.

I been coming to this guy for years now. He's worked on many of my vehicles rzrs lawnmowers ext , I trust his work and he is an honest man with decent price. He'll work on your car even if takes all day and night. Wouldn't go anywhere else ..

Marcus worked with us and let us know what had to be done before he did it. He always calls to let us know if he finds any other problems when working on our vehicles. Everything we ever have done by him is top notch.

Honest and fast service. Stands behind what he does and will get your car fixed with no extra bs. Doesn t over charge and tells you exactly what you need. I take all my vehicles there and have never had a single issue.

Great and friendly service.Brought my wife's car in for a window issue and was quoted a way better price then autonation! Had it fixed same day with a militery discount on top of that! Don't waste your time anywhere else in corpus.
