The guys at the shop were great. They did everything possible to fix our car in a short amount of time. We were stranded on vacation and they got us back on the road as painless as possible. They also shuttled us back and forth to our hotel for no charge. This is a great auto repair shop. Thanks again.

Super helpful and friendly staff, I called with an absolute emergency after getting sand up in my CV boots. They had both axles replaced in half a day thank you guys again for saving my vacation

Came by to get an inspection done on my truck around 10:30 this morning and the lady and gentleman behind the desk told me I needed to come back at 2:00 or after. I went home and waited around until 2:00 and then went straight there and got there at 2:05. The gentleman was not there but it was the same lady (who I don t think remembered me) and she tells me that the guy that does inspections is all full for the day and to try tomorrow. She also said that the earlier I come by the better. I was there at 10:30?? What a waste of a day. I live here on the island and my wife takes her car to this shop. Not anymore.

Island Tire is my go to on the Island for all of my vehicles needs.They are quick to respond and fit me in to their schedule, dependable, extremely knowledgeable, great customer service, fun people and very reasonable.We are SO lucky to have them on the Island!

This is a very well known liked and used auto repair center on the island. Thy are knowledgeable and do good work and stand behind it and usually pretty expedient. They are popular so bear that in mind and communicate of course and they will take care of your needs. Members of my family use them and have had great success with their auto issues being resolved every time!!

I came in having been literally stuck on the beach, gimped there 10 min before closing. They had me back on the road before 9am the the next business day. Super nice, too. I highly recommend them!

Shhhh. Dont tell anyone how great Island Tire & Automotive is. Right now I hardly ever have to wait and they do terrific work for reasonable rates. I hate going to dealerships for service where you have to wait hours for ridiculously expensive and terrible service. Island Tire & Automotive is reliable, reasonable, convenient, and fast. Don't tell anyone.

Paid over $1000.00 to get our car fixed and it ended up right back in the shop. Their only answer was to take it somewhere else after spending all that money. Not a good experience. This is the second time and second vehicle they've said to take it somewhere else because they couldn't do anything AFTER working on it. Frustrating to say the least.

Pleasantly surprised! The times are difficult with parts and labor shortages for all providers, I get that. But after leaving my vehicle with a dealer repair shop for 2 weeks with them unable to get to it to even diagnose it, I tried Island Automotive and they had it diagnosed, fixed, and back to me the next day. They are a 4 minute walk from me and they are friendly! I'll be back!!!Services: Tires, Brakes

Always very friendly and the mechanics know there stuff. I have had too many people try to work on my dune buggy before Island Tire and it was always a miss. They do great work and know there stuff!

They were really busy but still took the time to look at my tires. My car was shaking violently after getting stuck on the beach. They have the his news out was just sand stuck to the rims.

Sally was nice. That was the end of anything good.I'm not even going to get into the fact that they held my car for 2 days for something that should have taken a few hours, and that's being generous for a brake job and an A/C diagnostic. Even the busiest shops in the ghetto can do that faster than 2 days. It doesn't really bother me that there was no clear communication on pricing, or the fact that they never even mentioned that it was possible that this could take days. These places are very busy. I understand that, so I can let that go. However, when I am sitting in the lobby waiting to give you my hard earned money, and all of it at that, It would be nice if the mechanic didn't come out into the lobby and LOUDLY and RUDELY announce that I have to pay for the A/C diagnostic, even though he was unable to tell me what was wrong because I didn't want to have to wait a THIRD day for him to get around to it....yeah, then it becomes an issue. Even Sally very clearly looked at me and said, "She's sitting right there," to this guy as he continues to talk smack about how I should be charged for all the hard work he did, and also have the NERVE to ask why I needed my car back....why do you think I need my car back???? Just wow. I can't even wrap my head around the lack of professionalism and lack of basic customer service skills this guy lacks. Don't go here unless you want to pay outrageous prices for work not performed, to have them hold your vehicle hostage for days with no explanation, and for the mechanics to treat you like dirt under their shoes!Service: Brakes

I was traveling home from Port A back to Midland and discovered my brand new expedition had a nail in the tire. I googled where I could go to get my tire fixed and they popped up first so I told my hubs, let s try there first and I am so very thankful we did! I told the guys my issue and they were on it in record timing and were so very kind, highly recommend. You will not find better service than here, promise you that!! I expected to be waiting for a few hours but it was minutes. You cannot beat that kind of service. I never do reviews but I had to leave one for them, highly highly highly recommend!!Service: Tires
